The article suggests a system of steps and tasks for parents and caregivers to help children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) get ready for school in the morning and make them feel safe and secure. Cited are strategies to teaching children the skill to make their own lunch, how to set up a routine for children using visual cues, and the significance of reinforcing to inspire and motivate children to succeed.
