Industrial development is an important part of economic and social development, and a stable pattern of water resource security can meet the needs of economic and social development. Therefore, correctly handling the relationship between industrial development and water resource security in China is the key to achieving high-quality development. This paper takes 287 prefecturelevel cities in China from 2010 to 2019 as the research object, establishes the evaluation index system of industrial development and water resource security, calculates the comprehensive index of industrial development and water resource security by the entropy weight method, and analyzes the spatiotemporal evolution trend of the two by using the coupling coordination degree model. The results show that the degree of coupling coordination between industrial development and water resource security in China shows an overall upward trend from 2010 to 2019. Optimizing the industrial structure and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading can effectively improve the coupling coordination level between industrial development and water resource security, and the degree of industrial development threatening water resource security is stronger than the degree of water resource security restricting industrial development. Purpose: This paper aims to study passive control techniques for transonic flow over a backward-facing step (BFS) using square-lobed trailing edges. The study investigates the efficacy of upward and downward lobe patterns, different lobe widths and deflection angles on flow separation, aiming for a deeper understanding of the flow physics behind the passive flow control system. Design/methodology/approach: Large Eddy Simulation and Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes were used to evaluate the results of the study. The research explores the impact of upward and downward patterns of lobes on flow separation through the effects of different lobe widths and deflection angles. Numerical methods are used to analyse the behaviour of transonic flow over BFS and compared it to existing experimental results. Findings: The square-lobed trailing edges significantly enhance the reduction of mean reattachment length by up to 80%. At Ma = 0.8, the up-downward configuration demonstrates increased effectiveness in reducing the root mean square of pressure fluctuations at a proximity of 5-step height in the wake region, with a reduction of 50%, while the flat-downward configuration proves to be more efficient in reducing the root mean square of pressure fluctuations at a proximity of 1-step height in the near wake region, achieving a reduction of 71%. Furthermore, the study shows that the up-downward configuration triggers early spanwise velocity fluctuations, whereas the standalone flat-downward configuration displays less intense crosswise velocity fluctuations within the wake region. Practical implications: The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of square-lobed trailing edges as passive control techniques, showing significant implications for improving efficiency, performance and safety of the design in aerospace and industrial systems. Originality/value: This paper demonstrates that the square-lobed trailing edges are effective in reducing the mean reattachment length and pressure fluctuations in transonic conditions. This paper investigates the problem of fault estimation for cyber–physical systems (CPSs) with intermittent measurement transmissions. A novel hybrid observer-based fault estimation scheme is proposed to generate estimations of the system state and the fault. Specifically, the correction terms of the designed observer are updated while new output measurements are available. Moreover, the estimation performance of the designed observer is analyzed within a framework of hybrid systems, and sufficient conditions are established to guarantee exponential input-to-state stability with a prescribed convergence rate based on the elaborately constructed Lyapunov function candidate. In contrast to the existing estimation schemes, the requirements of continuous or periodical communication are eliminated, and therefore the proposed one is more applicable for the modern industrial systems integrated with data communication networks. Finally, the application to an aircraft model is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed methods. • Compared with the existing fault estimation schemes depending upon continuous measurements, the proposed one is developed based on the sporadic measurements, and therefore more applicable for CPSs integrated with data communication networks. • Inspired by considerations from the efficient utilization of available resources, an intermediate variable and two output error correction terms updated while new measurements get available are incorporated with the designed observer. In this paper, we investigate the estimation-oriented sensor scheduling problem over industrial cyber-physical systems. Different from the existing works, we consider a more innovative and practical scenario where channel resources are limited. A novel transmission scheduling framework for sensors monitoring multiple sub-processes is proposed, where the most important sensory data will transmitted with higher priority and reliability. For two-system case, we first present an explicit optimal scheduling strategy under the off-line scenario. In order to further improve the performance, we propose an on-line scheduling strategy based on the arrival information feedback. Moreover, we have theoretically proved the feasibility and superiority of our proposed on-line schedule to the optimal off-line one. Besides, in order to reduce the computation complexity, we present sub-optimal algorithms for more complicated multi-system scenario, and derive out the conditions under which the optimal or sub-optimal schedules can be designed explicitly and separately, which conspicuously reduces the computation complexity. Moreover, the theoretical gap between our proposed sub-optimal schedules and optimal schedule can be determined by solving two relaxed problems. This paper is concerned with the communication protocol-based zonotopic state and fault estimation issue for a class of discrete time-varying industrial cyber-physical systems under bounded disturbances and constrained communication resources. First, in order to alleviate resource consumption, a round-robin protocol is developed to schedule the data transmission between the local sensor and the remote estimator. Second, a zonotopic set-membership estimation algorithm is developed to guarantee that the unavailable system state and fault signals could be simultaneously estimated and enclosed in a zonotope at every instant of time. Subsequently, the size of such a zonotope is minimized at each iteration by appropriately selecting a correlation matrix. Furthermore, the rigorous stability and performance analysis for the developed zonotopic estimation algorithm is provided. This paper addresses the problem of secure event-triggered control is to guarantee the stability and security of a general class of industrial cyber-physical systems (CPSs) under limited resource budget and deception attacks. Note that the coupled data and the complicated structure of the CPS make it hard for the traditional control algorithms to fulfill the stability and security requirements. To this end, a neural network learning-based approximation algorithm is first proposed to separate the coupling influence, and then estimate the lumped uncertain nonlinearities. This is done by using the separated data as the input of the neural networks. Second, Nussbaum-type functions are presented to settle the unknown sign of the time-varying attack injection signal. Third, an event triggering mechanism is developed to reduce the communication load. Under the developed secure control laws, all the signals of the resulted closed-loop CPS are bounded. Industrial cyber-physical systems (ICPSs) play an important role in many critical infrastructures. To ensure the secure and reliable operation of ICPSs, this work presents a novel end-to-end physics-informed gated recurrent graph attention unit network (PGRGAT) for unsupervised anomaly detection. Different from existing data-driven methods, PGRGAT combines prior knowledge with process data to improve the modeling performance and interpretability. Firstly, a physics-informed graph structure learning module is designed to explicitly model the dependencies among variables into a directed graph. This module learns the Bernoulli distribution on graph edges and generates a discrete graph using Gumbel-softmax sampling. Moreover, prior knowledge is introduced as graph regularization which constrains the graph to adhere to the underlying physics. Then, based on the learned graph structure, a novel gated recurrent graph attention unit network is proposed to simultaneously encode the inter-variable structural dependencies and intra-variable temporal dependencies for anomaly detection. By this means, the information of irrelevant variables can be discarded to improve the sensitivity to anomalies. Modern industrial computer systems should be reliable, noise-immune, high-speed, and error-free which is difficult due to noise and industrial interferences. In the case of single additive errors, bit insertion/dropping can occur in the outputs of demodulators which implies long error packets which are hard to correct. To provide highly reliable data transmission, parameters of bit errors exemplified by the length of insertion/dropping and position of bits have to be evaluated but widely used methods for detecting and evaluating bit errors do not yield such parameters. In this paper, two new methods are proposed as a solution to this problem for the estimation of bit error parameters under single additive errors in which the difference between two positions of clock elements in the reference sequence and the received pseudorandom sequence is calculated. The new method, in addition to algorithmic effectiveness and efficiency, makes it also possible to reduce the hardware complexity of devices to be implemented for detecting and estimating the bit error parameters. Recommender systems play a vital role in e-commerce. Existing algorithms usually learn ranking scores from a user's historical sequence, but they generally pay little attentions to mining the user's precise and varied interests to jointly optimize multiple tasks. In this study, we argue that it is crucial to formulate different user interests based on self-supervised learning (SSL) enhanced data representation for multi-scene objectives. We propose self-supervised cognitive learning (SSCL), a novel framework that can simultaneously model a user's multifaceted interest representation and linked multitask information learning. SSCL exploits SSL to enhance the value of training data. In addition, multi-interest-aggregation and multi-interest-select units are introduced and a customized gate-control model is used to optimize multiple objectives. We evaluate our framework using three real-world datasets, and our results demonstrate its effectiveness and superior performance over the state-of-the-art techniques.
