Within the Integrated Mass Public Transport System Program for Costa Rica's Great Metropolitan Area (SITGAM), a group of objectives have been established to accomplish the integration of the current public transport system, as well as a group of indicators in order to trace the goals' progress. This research's goal is to develop a rating method for SITGAM's 22nd indicator regarding Public Transport System Accessibility. A thorough research was made from national and international sources on the matter of accessibility and walkability in pedestrian networks, in order to generate a relevant method within Costa Rican reality. The method is currently being developed. This research's main result will be a guide to apply the method in all the public transport routes considered in SITGAM, as well as the application of the method in a section of the San José - Sabanilla - La Campiña mainline in order to exemplify the use of the rating tool, as well as giving recommendations to improve accessibility in this section. Based on their shared experiences, they will explore the expectations, needs, and realities of people with visual disabilities in today's university libraries, their challenges and proposals. Additionally, they will analyse the impact of architecture, collection, service quality, and staff training related to accessibility. They will emphasize the need for academic libraries to effectively adapt to ensure inclusion and equitable access for all users, regardless of their abilities. The University of Granada addresses the attention provided to people with disabilities through the National Plan for Universal Accessibility. The Library of the University of Granada (in Spanish, Biblioteca Universitaria de Granada, BUG) adapts services for people with disabilities, for instance, online loans and personalized training. The library also collaborates with inclusion organizations and participates in initiatives for people with dyslexia. The Local Libraries of A Coruña (Galicia) have taken on the challenge, as public libraries, to guarantee the access to information and culture to all citizens. To this end, they have developed a series of programmes that promote spaces for participation, social inclusion and community development. To this end, libraries have implemented social inclusion programmes in those areas where library staff consider it relevant to seek alliances with other sectors for the development of social significant projects where libraries want to direct and focus their approaches. Despite the fact that the concept of inclusion is increasingly present in Spanish libraries, recent research has shown that libraries are normally still far from being inclusive. After reviewing the main definitions of the concept of inclusive library in the Ibero-American context, the library community is invited to broaden the scope and dimension of the term following the work done in the business sector and in libraries from English-speaking countries. This paper reviews some of the initiatives to achieve inclusion carried out in Spanish libraries and the differentiating aspects that make a library inclusive or not. The 3rd Regional Roads Plan in Castilla-La Mancha 2015-2026 being promoted by the regional government from its Directorate General for Roads (DGC) is a strategic framework for the planning of road infrastructure over the next 12 years. A product of years of hard work and reflection, the Plan began with a visual inspection of the whole regional road network by DGC staff to check its physical characteristics and state of repair. On the basis of the data gathered, the traffic density, the roadaccident rate over the last few years and the current capacity of roads in service and forecasts for their future use, the network's real needs for the coming years were identified and measures were planned. The 3rd Plan entails an investment of 1,266m euros over the next 12 years in measures to improve the regional network's links with high-capacity state roads, upgrading and layout improvements, pavement reinforcement and the building of bypasses, and will involve works scheduled over 5,414 km of roads, without forgetting the ordinary maintenance and servicing tasks performed regularly on the whole network. The Plan includes a set of indicators of activity and results linked to the strategic objectives and scheduled actions which will facilitate the Plan's continuous assessment, as it is to be reviewed every four years.
