Purpose: This article shall examine the importance of communication management strategies in addressing the internal communication crises. Customer service officers who are satisfied are less likely to quit, neglect work, and produce defective products, and they are more likely to remain loyal to the bank. Effective communication management is essential for attaining employee satisfaction. Additionally, organizations need to use communication management strategies to make sure that the appropriate information reached the right people at the right time. Design/methodology/approach: The researcher plan to study the importance of communication management strategies in addressing internal communication crises among customer service officers in Malaysia. Findings: The study's findings are anticipated to serve as a paradigm for communication management practices in the financial services industry's handling of internal communication crises. By devising the Communication Management Strategies Model for internal communication crisis management, organizations can mitigate the negative effects of such crises, such as employee stress, anxiety, and low morale. Research limitations: The following studies should prioritize the examination of sectors, such as the tourism sector, oil and gas, or financial services industry. The study's generalizability is crucial for future research. Practical implications: This investigation is also intended to benefit the public and private sectors, as well as employees. Originality: It is crucial to identify and apply efficient communication management strategies to reduce the consequences of such a crisis. Purpose: This study aimed to identify the influence of job demands on academicians' mental health in selected public universities in Malaysia. Findings: This study examined the effects of job demand on academics' mental health in Malaysian public universities using the JD-R model. Given that employee happiness was strongly correlated with mental health, it is crucial to pay a particular attention to how job demands can lead to stressful life events and other detrimental outcomes Research limitations/implications: This study may bring to the developing guidelines for workload management, implementing mental health support programs, and creating a more supportive work environment. The comparison across institutions can be done and may lead to the interdisciplinary collaboration which can offer comprehensive insights and solutions. However, some research implications and limitations associated with this study such as the sampling bias, self-reported data, as this study is a cross-sectional design and Findings from a specific study may not be fully generalizable to all academicians due to differences in disciplines, institutions, and cultural contexts. Practical implications: Studying the influence of job demand on the mental health of academicians has several practical implications, both for individuals working in academia and for institutions and policymakers as it increased awareness and self-care among academicians, allowing early intervention implementation, improving workplace policies, reducing stigma, improving employee's productivity, expansion of research in this topic, and many more. It can lead to improved mental well-being, productivity, and the overall quality of education and research in academia. Originality/value: Focusing on public universities in Malaysia adds a unique contextual dimension to the study. Malaysia has its own educational system, cultural factors, and socioeconomic conditions that can influence job demands and mental health in distinct ways compared to studies conducted in other countries. It can provide insights specific to the Malaysian context, inform policy decisions, enhance the work environment, and ultimately contribute to the well-being of both academicians and students in the Malaysian higher education system. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the acceptance of social software applications (SSA) among rural low-income jobseekers by adopting the specific determinants from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which are perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, technology use, and behavioral intention to use. Design/methodology/approach: In this research, the proposed research design is a quantitative method. A self-administered questionnaire adapted from previous studies will be distributed to respondents, a group of rural low-income jobseekers in selected communities within the Selangor area. A purposive sampling method is a suitable technique to be applied. Then, the data collected will be analyzed through the partial least square (SmartPLS) technique. Findings: The research findings are expected to highlight the significant emphasis on developing a more compelling online job search platform, especially using SSA. Then, the findings will also provide a model to understand better the rural low-income community in job-seeking activities. Research limitations/implications: This research is only limited to the variables that will be tested in a quantitative method. Practical implications: It is foreseen that the findings will help various parties, including the government, to create better models for helping rural low-income jobseekers use SSA in job-seeking for a better opportunity to get hired. It is also considered a long-term strategy to become a high-income nation. Originality/value: The research on SSA among rural low-income job seekers is fascinating. A practical framework based on social software applications among rural low-income job seekers will be developed as a guideline to support the government's effort to increase awareness among low-income communities on how to use the SSA to seek jobs efficiently. Purpose: This study aims to identify the privacy and security factors of e-business adoption in relation to the performance of women-owned small and medium enterprises (WOSMEs) in Malaysia. The resource-based view (RBV) is used to understand WOSME's capabilities to achieve a competitive advantage via e-business. In addition, the introduction of the mediating role of e-business adoption and the moderating role of government support in this paper enhances the understanding of WOSME's performance. Design/methodology/approach: This conceptual paper recommends a cross-sectional quantitative research methodology using random sampling of the WOSME population in Malaysia. Findings: The findings may contribute to WOSMEs by providing them e-business adoption strategies that address their privacy and security concerns to improve their business performance and growth in Malaysia. The conceptual framework may be used as a foundation for future empirical research and offers practitioners insights into the benefits of e-business adoption for WOSME businesses. Research limitations/implications: This research focuses only on the service sector of WOSMEs in Malaysia. As a result, it is unable to represent other countries that vary in the definition, culture, and policies of their SMEs. Practical implications: Based on a critical review of the literature and supporting theories, the present paper increases the understanding of how perceived privacy and perceived security influence e-business adoption and business performance among WOSMEs in Malaysia.
