As a result, the Missouri River Flood Risk and Resiliency Study was initiated. While completed under separate funding from the Floodplain Management Services Program (FPMS), this Flow Frequency Study report provides foundational information, that when combinedwith future study of stage frequency, will help accurately describe the current flood risk that exists on the Missouri River. 715 Part A-J U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission FEDERAL AGENCY ANNUAL EEO PROGRAM STATUS REPORT Page 1 of 17 Seattle District (NWS) provides service to the Armed Forces and our Nation at peace or war by designing, constructing, operating, and permitting military/civil works infrastructure, and projects that build the Nation’s military and long-term economic might in an environmentally sustainable way. On order, we execute Emergency Operations in support of local, state, and federal agencies. NWS is comprised of engineers, scientists, craftspeople, and other specialists working together as leaders in engineering and environmental matters. Our diverse workforce of biologists, engineers, geologists, hydrologists, natural resource managers and other professionals meet the demands of changing times and requirements as a vital part of America’s Army. Approximately eight hundred civilian employees work in the Seattle District which is one of the smaller districts of the large district category in the Corps, covering all or part of four states. Mission: Seattle District’s mission is to provide engineering expertise and water resource stewardship, which delivers world-class solutions that protect and serve the Pacific Northwest and the Nation  Major integrated water resource management and ecosystem restoration projects for Puget Sound, and throughout the District's Civil Works area of operation in parts of three states.  Operating and maintaining dams as part of the Federal Columbia River Power System, which provide clean sustainable energy to the northwest and nation.  Support efforts to other federal agencies such as cleanup of contaminated properties for the EPA and facilities construction for Customs and Border Protection.  Providing support to the military with construction, environmental, and resource services at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and at Mountain Home, Fairchild, and Malmstrom Air Force bases.  Supporting overseas contingency operations and redu

Data for this report are presented in three tables and will be included in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Civil Works Budget press book. TABLE 1. – Corps Projects under Construction Receiving an Allocation in FY2016. Table 1 lists 198 projects and/or programs that were allotted funds in FY2016 in the Construction Account or Mississippi River and Tributaries Construction Account. Programs such as the various environmental infrastructure authorities are represented by one line item. Projects that are under construction but received funds in a previous fiscal year are not included in Table 1. However, if these previously funded ongoing construction projects have ongoing mitigation requirements, the projects are included in Table 2. TABLE 2. - Status of Corps Projects with Incomplete Compensatory Mitigation. Table 2 outlines the status of the 83 projects with incomplete compensatory mitigation. Most of the 198 projects from Table 1 are not listed in Table 2 because physical construction may not have started, the project may not require compensatory mitigation, or the mitigation may have been completed in previous years. As stated above, projects in Table 2 may not be reflected in Table 1 if they did not receive funding in FY2016 but have ongoing mitigation commitments.
