The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of problem-based learning model on the environmental care attitude of the students in the primary school. This research was conducted in Primary School in Pekanbaru by including 63 students as population sample. This research used quasi experimental design method. The instruments used to measure environmental care attitudes was questionnaires. Quantitative data analysis processed using software SPSS Version 16.0 for windows. The results showed that the achievement of the average score of N-gain of the environmental care attitudes in the experimental class with the PBL model (average score of N-gain=0.74 in the high category) compared with the control class that proposed the conventional learning model (average score of N-gain=0.58 in the medium category), there is an average difference of 0.000 with a small significance level of the value of α is 0.05. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of PBL learning model on the students' environmental caring attitude in Primary School Pekanbaru. The background to this research is the low HOTS of prospective elementary school teacher students, and a blended learning-based elementary school teacher project in mathematics learning model has been developed to overcome this problem, but further research is needed to test its effectiveness. This research aims to determine the effect of the elementary school teacher project in the mathematics model based on blended learning on the HOTS of prospective elementary school teacher students. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group experimental design. Two hundred future elementary school teacher students were participants in this research. The results of the Independent Sample T Test analysis show that the sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, indicating a difference in the average higher-order thinking Skills (HOTS) between prospective elementary school teacher students who took part in learning using the elementary school teacher project in mathematics model based on blended learning and those who took part in education using the conventional model. The average HOTS score for prospective elementary school teacher students in the group using the blended learning-based Elementary School Teacher Project in Mathematics model was higher than that for prospective students who used the conventional model. These results confirm that implementing the elementary school teacher project in the mathematics model based on blended learning effectively increases the HOTS of prospective elementary school teacher students. This research is motivated by the underutilization of technology-based learning media in Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, PKN) at elementary schools. The aim of this study is to determine the validity and practicality of the developed media. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. The outcomes of the validity test for the Smart Apps Creator media obtained a percentage of 88.33% with a category of exceptionally substantial, the validity test for the materials yielded 89.23% with a category of exceptionally valid, and the validity test for the media resulted in 88% with a category of exceptionally valid. Meanwhile, the practicality test outcomes in the trial schools obtained a percentage of 85.71% with a category of exceptionally practical for the teacher response questionnaire and 93.63% for the student response questionnaire with a category of exceptionally practical. The practicality test outcomes in the research schools were 96.42% with a category of exceptionally practical for the teacher response questionnaire and 91.93% with a category of exceptionally practical for the student response questionnaire. It can be concluded that the development of the Smart Apps Creator learning media in Civic Education has been valid and practical to utilize with fifth-grade elementary school students. Utilization of digital learning is spread massively after Covid-19 Pandemic. Students as learning purpose and are charged to master technology in the future must be adapted with learning paradigm change. Mathematics learning in elementary school need some media to help students understand with mathematics' abstract concepts. Several research state that digital media help elementary school students in knowledge and procedure in mathematics, but on other said, digital media causes mathematical anxiety for them. This paper elaborate how students are adapted with digital technology and what factor that support or hold them in learning these days. One of the learning activities that is said to be difficult to implement is the method of learning mathematics. The process of learning mathematics is difficult because mathematics materials are abstract and difficult for elementary students. To overcome this problem, the use of technology in education is a good solution. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of technology in learning mathematics and its role in improving the mathematical understanding of coastal students. This study is a preliminary experimental study focusing on 28 elementary school students of 111 Buton Elementary School. The researchers used tests and questionnaires as data collection tools. In this study, researchers found that there was a difference in students' mathematical understanding before and after using technology in the learning process. After using technology in learning activities, it is 26.41%. According to survey results, 64% of students said that using technology helped them understand math material. 29% found it very useful, the rest found it very useful. Based on the results, it was concluded that the use of technology in learning activities will improve students' understanding of mathematics. The delay in awareness of mastering fluent reading skills among elementary school students constitutes a recurring weakness. Urgent intervention is therefore necessary to identify targeted solutions. The aim of this research is to analyze the urgent needs for solutions that need to be offered to address the lack of proficiency in mastering prosodic skills in fluent reading instruction. The objective can be achieved by applying qualitative research with a case study design. The research findings indicate that the process of teaching fluent reading in urban elementary schools in Indonesia requires urgent measures in the form of electronic games that specifically focus on and familiarize students with the use of pauses, intonation, and expression in fluent reading. This is due to the following reasons in urban areas of Indonesia: (1) Direct examples of using pauses, intonation, and expression still contain errors. (2) Urban students are highly familiar with technological advancements, especially in gaming. (3) The use of games in the learning process is perceived as more enjoyable by children. (4) Providing game facilities that teach children the appropriate use of pauses, intonation, and expression is considered to facilitate the process of learning fluent reading. The novelty of this research lies in the case study, which has led to the emergence of a new idea for producing media in the form of electronic games that specifically focus on the development of fluent reading skills in children, incorporating pauses, intonation, and expression, referred to as PIE Games. The era of society 5.0 has advanced the use of technology in all its aspects, including education. Education must be able to adapt to technological developments in order to provide learning that matches the character-istics of students, especially in elementary schools. One of the uses of technology that can be used is to cre-ate a learning device with Book Creator. The study aims to find out how the book creator application is used in elementary school learning as well as to analyze the results of previous research related to the use of book creators in elementary school education. The research method used is Systematic Literature Riview (SLR), with article criteria that include using the PICO technique. The data that has been collected is subsequently identified, analyzed, and described descriptively. Research results show that a lot of research has been done on the development of learning tools such as digital textbooks, e-modules, and electronic student worksheets using Book Creator. Book Creator is capable of becoming one of the technologies that can be used in the world of education, especially at the elementary schools, because it can help teachers present learning devices that fit the era of society 5.0. Book Creator is not only capable of presenting interesting visualizations but is also able to present audio, video, and various animations in one e-book. Instilling moral beliefs through students reading children's story books is considered effective, because through stories students are better able to understand and remember the implied moral values. Unfortunately, the availability of children's story books in general is currently not fully in line with Akidah Akhlak learning materials for students. Therefore, an interactive e-book containing children's stories entitled Kampung Warna was developed, intended as a learning medium for elementary school students in Islamic Religious Education subjects, which includes aspects of character-based learning and the application of Akidah Akhlak. Based on the research methodology flow of research and development through testing validity, practicality and effectiveness in accordance with the research objectives to be achieved, children's storybooks fulfill the objectives of this research. That the Kampung Warna interactive children's story e-book was declared valid for use as a learning instrument according to the validator's assessment, practical for use in learning according to the responses of educators and students, and included in the effective criteria according to the results of student learning evaluations on Akidah Akhlak in Islamic Religious Education Subjects. The problem with elementary school capabilities in the field of literacy and science & technology as well as several children's storybooks which are considered unsuitable for elementary school students because they contain content that has a negative impact on children's thinking patterns are the background for the development of modern children's story books which contain character and science and technology. The general aim of this development research is to develop children's storybooks based on character and science & technology. In achieving research objectives, research and development methods are in accordance with the research and development theme. The research stage is a preliminary study, including literature study and a survey of storybooks that students are interested in. Then wrote a storybook entitled Prof. Tito: The Electric Bicycle Edition was then tested for validity and practicality as well as storybook intervention in learning Indonesian and science until the effectiveness of storybooks as teaching materials was obtained. Mathematical literacy supports the achievement of 21st century skills. Mathematical literacy needs to be trained in students from a young age, namely the elementary school level. Elementary school teachers who have high mathematical literacy skills will be able to educate students better. Therefore, prospective elementary school teachers need to get used to working on math literacy questions. This study aims to: 1) analyze the construct of the mathematical literacy instrument with CFA; 2) analyze the item bias of the mathematical literacy instrument with DIF. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The mathematical literacy instrument consists of 40 multiple choice items. Participants in the mathematical literacy test were 115 prospective elementary school teacher students in Indonesia (Papua Province). The results of the study show that 1) the results of construct validity using CFA indicate that the mathematical literacy instrument has been well structured theoretically, as indicated by an RMSEA value of less than 0.08; 2) DIF was not detected for the gender group, whereas in the senior high school, region, and live groups several items of mathematical literacy instruments were detected which were detected by DIF. In Malaysia, student achievement in mathematics problem-solving is still less than satisfactory, especially when solving non-routine mathematical problems. One factor that leads to this problem is the lack of Mathematical Creativity among primary school students. According to previous research, Mathematical Creativity is more related to problem-solving, especially non-routine problems when there is new knowledge creation and flexible problem-solving. Therefore, it is important to create a learning environment that can attract interest and deepen the creative thinking of mathematics among students. In this era of rapidly developing technology, it is appropriate if Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is integrated with technology (GeoGebra) to increase its effectiveness in fostering Mathematical Creativity. In this study, 30 students from School A (control group) and 30 from School B (experimental group) were involved. The experimental group utilized GeoGebra-Assisted Non-Routine PBL Strategy in teaching and learning. A t-test was employed to observe the significant differences between the experimental and control groups after the experiment. Note that this test has adequate validity. Analysis of the pre-test data showed no statistically significant difference (p<.05) between the experimental and control groups. However, post-test data analysis indicated that the post-test mean of the experimental group was statistically significantly higher (p>.001) than the control group. Problem-solving is a crucial part of the mathematics curriculum because students build the experience of solving problems using knowledge and skills in the learning process. This study's main issue focused on primary students' achievement in solving non-routine mathematics problems. Based on the analysis of previous studies in determining the performance of solving non-routine problems, it was discovered that the student performance level is still low. Therefore, creating a learning environment that can attract interest and deepen the performance in non-routine problem-solving among primary students is important. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) was identified as the most suitable learning strategy to improve non-routine mathematical problem-solving. In this era of rapidly developing technology, it is appropriate if PBL is integrated with technology (GeoGebra) to increase its effectiveness in improving performance in non-routine problem-solving. Therefore, GeoGebra-Assisted Non-Routine PBL Strategy was applied as a learning approach for this study. In this study, 30 students from School A (control group) and 30 from School B (experimental group) were involved. Note that the experimental group utilized GeoGebra-Assisted Non-Routine PBL Strategy in teaching and learning. Subsequently, data were analyzed using SPSS 22 to obtain the percentage and mean. The results indicate that the experimental group's performance in non-routine problem-solving was better than the control group. Previous studies present that students struggle with the Shape and Space topic. This occurred due to low skills in visualizing processes among the students. Based on this issue, student improvement can be achieved using appropriate learning methods and aids. Shapify It! app is a mobile application that is used to help students in the visualization process involving the topic of Shape and Space. Note that the Shapify It! app involves active participation among students in class. In addition, Shapify It! app is one of the digital innovations that implement augmented reality technology in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the Shapify It! app in the visualization process in the Shape and Space topic. Here, 120 Year Two students from primary schools in Selangor participated in this study. A purposive sampling technique was applied in this study. Other than that, the pretest and posttest were the instruments applied in this study. The participants were given intervention for one month through four learning sessions. Pretest and posttest data were collected and analyzed quantitatively. The study discovered that it was difficult for the participants to make visualizations involving 2-dimensional (2D) and 3-dimensional (3D) shapes, making them unable to answer the questions correctly. However, the findings also demonstrated positive improvement in students' achievement in this topic. Misconceptions are gaps in cognitive processes caused by the conflict between prior knowledge of existing concepts and the acceptance of new concepts during the learning process. Therefore, this study examines the misconceptions faced by Year Two students on the topic of Shape and Space. Note that 20 Year Two students in a primary school in Kuala Selangor, Selangor, were involved in this case study. A purposive sampling technique was utilized in this study. A diagnostic test was the instrument applied for the data collection. Other than that, misconceptions in this study were determined using the Certainty Response Index (CRI) and expressed by students while answering diagnostic questions. Based on the CRI values, 33% of the students faced misconceptions about the subtopics of 2D and 3D shapes, and 54% understood the concepts of two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) shapes in this topic well. Nevertheless, 6% of the students lacked knowledge on this topic, and 7% were able to answer correctly by just guessing the answer. The misconception faced by these students is due to their weaknesses in making abstract visualizations. Mathematical literacy is one of the crucial competencies measured by PISA which show the performance scores of Indonesian students in mathematics. Indonesian students' achievements are always dominantly at level 1. The Government refers to the PISA results as the basis for the strategic plan of the Ministry of Education and Culture 2020 - 2024, international standard of education, conducting minimum competency assessments, set the Graduate Competency Standards in Regulation number 21 of 2016, and conduct a campus teaching (KM) program to improve student literacy and numeracy. This study was conducted to explore the effect of KM program in developing students' mathematical literacy. This descriptive quantitative research subject were elementary school students at the target schools of the KM program. The research instrument is the test of mathematical literacy development by the Center for Evaluation and Learning of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia which is valid and have high reliability. The research results show that: a) the average score of students' mathematical literacy is<50 both for after and before KM program; and b) there was no significance difference of students' mathematical literacy before and after the KM programs. Nutrition is vital to the development of a child and is characterized primarily by what they eat. In the Philippines, however, undernutrition is more severe and prevalent in rural than in urban areas. Previous studies have primarily focused on predicting malnutrition among schoolchildren using various features such as household income and other quantitative data, but there is a gap to be filled in analyzing the exact food items that the children eat for specific meal denominations. In this work, we present a summary of the schoolchild's plate in an urban and rural setting in the Philippines while using unsupervised learning methods to analyze relationships among food items. Through natural language processing (NLP) of a 24-hour food recall survey, common food items were collated and summarized. Market basket analysis (MBA) through association rules was then performed to identify food items that constitute schoolchildren's meals. Through a frequency analysis of food items, rice was empirically shown to be part of all the meals (breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner) of a schoolchild for both areas. Moreover, the rural area's diet is revealed to have a mix of fish and vegetable dishes, while the urban area's diet consists mainly of processed and fried foods. Association rule mining among food itemsets was also used to predict and give insights on the nutritional makeup of the child given the acquisition of prior food itemsets. Similar food combinations were seen from both frequency-based plates and association rules-based plates. Hence, through NLP and MBA techniques, analysis of nutrition could be brought to a meal-level recommendation. Thereby, through this study, a possibility of an individualized, tailor-fitted response to malnutrition is presented, complementing established machine learning prediction methods towards a more involved intervention for a child's nutritional development. In the Philippines, one in five school-aged children are affected by undernutrition, increasing their risk of physical and cognitive development. The Department of Education (DepEd) attempts to address this issue by targeting children with low body mass index (BMI) for their school-based feeding program (SBFP). However, challenges like inadequate measuring tools and supervision in low-resource communities have led to large discrepancies in the nutritional status of SBFP beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries. Siy Van et al. [1] addresses the difficulties associated with BMI by using machine learning (ML) to predict undernutrition among school-aged children based on socioeconomic and demographic characteristics, dietary diversity scores, and food insecurity scores. Their study compared several ML algorithms and found that their best performing model in terms of accuracy was a random forest (RF) model. However, the RF model had high sensitivity with low specificity, indicating a bias towards the positive class. This study aims to improve these results by employing oversampling techniques and other ML algorithms that were not used in the study. Using the same data set in [1], this study compares four machine learning algorithms (RF, XGBoost, DNN, and NNRF) to predict undernutrition among school-aged children, managing imbalanced data using three oversampling techniques (SMOTE, Borderline-SMOTE, and ADASYN). Eight independent classification tasks for predicting undernutrition were performed, and results showed that a RF-Borderline model performed the best in terms of Cohen's κ (0.3662), with an accuracy of 71.61%, sensitivity of 71.13%, and a specificity of 73.08%. While RF performed the best overall, XGBoost and NNRF performed better than RF on specific tasks. Notably, incorporating oversampling consistently enhanced model performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Children safety is a concern for every parent. When the child start going to school for the first time and when he/she is small to understand the situation to act upon it, the mechanism is required to track the same. The framework proposed in this paper is evolved after studying many incidents related to the children safety during travelling to and from school. Human oversight or supervisor's absence may lead to a heartbreaking incident. Manual system may overlook some threats associated. Proposed work in the paper is a system to report the child boarding and drop with the time stamp and location to the parents and the school authority daily. The system helps the concerned parents and school authorities to take immediate action against any mishap or unfortunate incident. The proposed system consists of RFID card, RFID reader, Arduino Controller enabled with GPS, GSM, and clock. The proposed system in the paper provides an economic solution for the above-mentioned problem and that can be affordable to all economic classes easily. Sedentary behavior (sedentary lifestyle) in adolescents contributes to the increasing number of DM in the world. There needs to be a healthy lifestyle intervention that is implemented in a structured manner through the Education Curriculum in Schools. The general objective of this research is to develop a learning model through the Education curriculum to promote healthy living behaviors in schools. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a case study design. This research was conducted in 2 (two) countries, namely Indonesia and Malaysia, in January-March 2023. The respondents to this study were high school students up to master's students. Data collection techniques used Focused Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, observation, and article literature. The results of FGDs and interviews are used to identify and explore patterns of healthy living behavior that students can apply at school. The data obtained were analyzed using guidelines from Hubermen and Miles. The analysis was carried out starting with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Various supporting factors can be used to design student groups that will be used as health promotion agents in schools. These supporting factors were identified and grouped into 12 (twelve) domains, namely: 1) health promotion goals, 2) increasing motivation, 3) information media about healthy living behavior, 4) the need to get used to healthy living, 5) student-based learning, 6) the learning process refers to the learning process plan (RPP), 7) the sports schedule, 8) the method of delivery of material, 9) time of delivery of material, 10) the duration of delivery of material, 11) the topics to be conveyed, and 12) key actor. The results of this study concluded that an Curriculum Merdeka based on healthy living behavior can encourage students to be more active in participating in the teaching and learning process. Physical activity on the sidelines of learning is an option to improve the healthy behavior of teachers and students. Besides that, designing a healthy canteen is also important to support the implementation of a healthy school. Implementing a healthy lifestyle in schools is one of the main assets for producing quality student graduates. This research is able to provide solutions to the problems faced by teachers and students. From 2019-2021, the world faced the COVID-19 virus pandemic, which extraordinarily impacted the economic and health sectors. Indonesia is one of the countries that has also felt the impact of COVID-19. In 2022, the virus pandemic has decreased, but as citizens, we still prevent the impact of other viruses. Schools are places that need to be considered in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in 2020. One of the schools that will return to normal activities is elementary school. Elementary school is a significant place to be concerned about because of the many interactions. Health implementation protocols are one of the efforts to handle the spread of disease. Therefore, a washbasin is one of the tools that can be used to prevent viruses in elementary schools. During the COVID-19 virus pandemic, many portable washbasins were designed to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, there are still some shortcomings in washbasin that have been designed and used in efforts to prevent viruses. One of the shortcomings in the washbasin that was designed earlier is the lack of user comfort because the size/dimensions used are still not yet tailored to the user of the washbasin. Based on the shortcomings outlined, it is necessary to redesign an ergonomic portable washbasin for elementary school students. The design of the portable washbasin uses the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The result of this study is a redesign of portable washbasin for elementary school pupils oriented towards consumer desires. The draft has considered 100 anthropometric data from primary school pupils. The data is a reference in determining the designed product size. Vaccination of primary school-age children is one of the current public health agendas. Public service advertisements have been widely studied for their effectiveness but are limited to social media. Print media, such as posters and game combinations, must be studied in this digital era. The media is also relatively easy, cheap, and affordable if implemented in various public places such as schools. This study analyzed the acceptance level of combination posters and pinball games as media promoting COVID-19 vaccination uptake in elementary school children and their parents. The research method uses cross-sectional. The total sample size is 130. Data on the level of media acceptance for both children and parents was collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed. There was no difference in the level of acceptance of the combined pinball game poster media based on attractiveness (p = 0.212), comprehension (p = 0.731), usage behavior (p = 0.481), and behavioral intentions (p = 0.690), both in 4th grade and 6th grade. The highest average score on the level of media acceptance by children was on the attractiveness and comprehension factors, with a score of 75.4 and 73.5. The highest levels of media acceptance by parents are on the comprehension factor (78.5) and attractiveness (75.5). Character education is an important aspect that must be integrated into learning. One of the character values that are considered important in supporting learning activities is responsibility. The problem that will arise if students are not responsible is deviant behavior, for example, having to carry out activities on the orders of others. This study aims to describe the responsibilities of students during the learning process at SD Negeri Pleset 1 Ngawi. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. According to the findings of this study, during the pandemic, not all children maintained good school discipline and responsibility. The factor that affects responsibility is a sense of laziness in students, which causes them to delay completing school assignments. The teacher's efforts in habituation of responsibility in learning meet the following indicators: 1) commitment to the task; 2) taking the initiative to complete the task; 3) giving maximum effort and being able to complete tasks on time. Good education in the 21st-century learning era is education that can stimulate creative thinking skills because students are required to have skills that are not only academic knowledge. Elementary school students find it difficult to convey ideas in the learning process, so creative thinking skills are needed to improve student skills. The study used a bibliometric map of creative thinking skills in elementary schools. The method used was bibliometric analysis using RStudio. The structure and transformation of creative thinking skills literature were found through publication citation analysis, author citation analysis, and word frequency analysis through the Scopus database—documents used as reference sources are articles, proceedings, books, and papers. The analysis results show that creative thinking skills in the context of primary education have improved. Still, there is an urgent need to develop effective strategies and approaches to teaching creative thinking skills at the basic education level. The implications of these findings can help the development of a basic education curriculum that focuses more on developing students' creative thinking skills, which in turn can improve their ability to face future challenges. The aim of this research was to assess the effectiveness of hybrid learning post-pandemic in improving the scientific literacy of elementary school teachers candidate. This research utilized a quasi-experimental design. The participants were students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta batch of 2020, who took two science courses. The study involved 92 students across two classes: Class A1-20 (control) and Class A2-20 (experimental). The findings revealed differences in the enhancement of scientific literacy among elementary school teacher candidates, as indicated by the t count value > t table, (10.781 > 1.873). According to the gain score test, the control group exhibited a gain value of 0.37, while the experimental group showed a gain of 0.73. The N-Gain test results suggested a moderate level of improvement in the control class and a high level of improvement in the experimental class. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study examines the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 22 Sentra Primer East Jakarta, which includes planning, procurement, and maintenance. This research uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that procuring educational facilities and infrastructure in the school has applied basic management principles such as planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Management of educational facilities and infrastructure in the school is also effective and efficient, namely achieving educational goals and objectives by utilizing existing resources as effectively and efficiently as possible. This study provides several suggestions to improve the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure management in the school, including improving communication and coordination between the Foundation, administration, and school principals and using a questionnaire system to determine the priority of facilities and infrastructure needs. Statistical literacy is becoming an essential skill in addressing global challenges related to problem-solving and decision-making that require an understanding of data and statistics. This research aims to describe the statistical literacy skills of elementary school students in solving statistical problems modeled after the PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) framework. This study adopts a descriptive-qualitative approach. The subjects of this research are fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection involves administering tests and conducting in-depth interviews with a group of elementary school students who participated in the PISA-inspired statistical literacy test. Sampling was done using purposive sampling, with a total of 6 students categorized as high, moderate, and low achievers. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the statistical literacy skills of elementary school students in solving PISA-style statistical problems are categorized as high and moderate, meeting all indicators of statistical literacy skills, which include understanding information, responding to data, interpreting data, and evaluating. On the other hand, students in the low category could only master some of these indicators, such as understanding information, processing data, and interpreting data. Entrepreneurship learning is one of the efforts made to improve one's entrepreneurial skills. In formal schools there has begun to be local content based on entrepreneurship. This shows the importance of entrepreneurship skills for young people. Likewise, what happened at Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin. As one of the special educational institutions (because it has three domains of education at once, namely formal, non-formal and informal education), this boarding school also organizes entrepreneurship learning for its students. Although both teach about entrepreneurship, the concept and method of implementation carried out in the pesantren are different from formal and non-formal schools. The problem that is the focus of this research is how the entrepreneur learning process carried out by students in pondok pesantren according to the perspective of informal education? The purpose of this research is to get the results of the analysis of entrepreneurship learning for students from the perspective of informal education. The results of this study indicate that, (1) Informal educators in the pondok pesantren who are involved in entrepreneurship learning include Pak Kyai and Bu Nyai, Ustadz and Ustadzah, and the students themselves. (2) Entrepreneurship learning implemented in this pondok pesantren occurs in the informal learning process. Exciting and fun learning media are necessary for delivering Physics material to elementary schools so that it is uncomplicated for learners to figure out. The development of interactive study media based on computational thinking skills needs to be honed for students to be skilled in programming to create the Physics material for elementary schools that they want to convey. This advancement investigation intends to determine the effectiveness of examples of computational thinking programming projects using Simple Machine materials that can be created and guided for problem-solving tasks in computational thinking training for PGSD students using the Scratch application. The research subjects were 20 private university students in Padang. Developing interactive learning media for computational thinking skills by applying the DDR design through the ADDIE model. Observation activities, interviews, and questionnaire instruments were used to obtain quantitatively analyzed data. The results of research on the process of needs analysis, expert validation, and effectiveness testing on students prove that the development of reciprocal study media grounded computational thinking, Simple Machine material with Scratch programming, is suitable as an example for problem-solving tasks for PGSD students' computational thinking training. Suggestions for further development of interactive learning media based on computational thinking skills are that interesting programming animation videos should be made to show learning from the concepts being taught, which will make it uncomplicated for learners to figure out. The paper presents a study of students' interest in science and the identification of interesting topics not covered in physics classes. 136 8th and 9th grade students from a particular primary school in Slovenia participated in the survey. The results show that primary school students find it interesting to learn about contemporary physics. Gender and interest in science influence students' choices of what topics they find interesting and their responses to lessons on the selected most interesting topic in physics. Specifically, of the seven proposed topics briefly presented to the students (radioactivity, liquid crystals, physics in medicine, astronomy, energy sources, technical devices, and hydrogels), radioactivity proved to be the most interesting. Most students would like to learn more about the findings of contemporary physics, while one in three students would like to take an elective. For female students, physics in medicine ranked first in interest, while for male students, radioactivity ranked first. Students found school lessons on radioactivity interesting. The results indicate that students want to learn about the content of contemporary physics and that such topics are more attractive to them than the content of regular physics classes, which is also shown in the evaluation of the most popular topic, radioactivity. Augmented reality can improve education by providing immersive and engaging learning experiences. A new and promising educational technology called dynamic AR textbooks combines normal textbook style with AR technology to make learning more interesting and dynamic. Design-based research (DBR) is ideal for educational innovation design and evaluation. DBR involves designing, implementing, and evaluating real-world educational interventions. This study proposes a conceptual framework for an interactive AR textbook prototype that analyses elementary school students' learning and emotions using DBR. The conceptual framework is based on the Design-Based Research (DBR) cycle based on Cotton et al., 2009; Reeves, 2006 and the uncanny valley, reproduced from Mori et al., 2012. Students should have authentic learning experiences with the interactive AR textbook prototype. AR content should be relevant to the real world and help kids learn meaningfully. The purpose of this study is to analyze Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) in mathematics subjects of PGSD students which is a representation of the teacher's Pedagogic and Professional abilities. This research is descriptive qualitative research in which data is obtained through questionnaire instruments and documentation as well as interviews. The analytical method used is a triangulation technique, which compares the three data obtained to obtain a valid conclusion. This study describes how to design a learning design that tests the instructional sequence for learning the corner concept. The research uses the Bukit Sulap tourism inclinator with Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) as an approach to learning. The research method uses a design research type of validation study, where in this study, there is a Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) as a reference to gain a better understanding of how students understand the concept of angles. This research is limited to the Pilot Experiment stage (Small group). The learning process is carried out for six students using activity sheets. The objectives of this study are to describe the learning activities carried out for six students based on the HLT that has been tested. The scoring race is a phenomenon where students participate in learning just for the sake of their scores; Schools, families, and society only judge students by their grades. The study was carried out to assess the status of the scoring race and propose some solutions to reduce the negative influence of this phenomenon. Cai Nuoc High School, Ca Mau Province - the most remote area in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam was selected for the case study. A cross-sectional survey model combined with quantitative research was used in this study. The number of students answering the question was 245, and the questionnaire was designed through Google Form in November 2021. The research results show that the majority of students participated in the scoring race (3.47±1.29), most of the students liked to get high scores (3.46±1.42) and were disappointed due to the loss of knowledge (4.16±0.98) and careless (4.82±0.61). Besides, the majority of students think that society judges them only by their scores (4.37±0.96); they are under a lot of pressure because of their grades (3.76±1.20), pressure from teachers (3.39±0.92, accounting for 82.1%), students have ever violated the test because of scores (4.10±1.24), had conflicts with classmates because of scores (3.36±1.34). Thus, in order to lessen the "score race" adverse effect, first of all, schools need to innovate teaching content, diversify teaching methods, teaching techniques, and methods of assessing results learning outcomes; families and society need to change their perception of students abilities; Students need to orient their learning goals, develop a study plan, actively participate in all learning activities to develop the necessary qualities and competencies. In the 21st century classrooms, teachers strive to make teaching and learning meaningful. One of the teaching approaches with ESL young learners used frequently by master trainers is project-based learning. In the effort to use project-based learning, teachers face problems in implementing it correctly as they lack guidelines that prescribe how to do it step-by-step. To add on to the problems, only activities are suggested in the textbooks without a clear manual since project-based learning is still in its infancy in primary school ESL classrooms. This study explores the practice of master trainers who are advocates of project-based learning in their respective districts in two northern states in Malaysia. This qualitative case study garners data from teachers' lesson plans, semi-structured interviews and guided reflection from the master trainers. This descriptive qualitative study aims to look at the process of primary school students' abstraction in understanding the concept of fractions. The abstraction process in this study focuses on precept, an activity that applies processes and concepts owned by students in solving fractional problems. The subject of this study is a primary school student with moderate mathematical ability who studied fractions. Tests were carried out on the data collection on fractions and interviews. The data analysis was carried out by collecting all the data, which would then be organized to select the critical data for this study. The results showed that the subject's abstraction process did not go well. The subject does not yet have the correct concept of fractions, resulting in an improper completion process, especially in understanding the multiplication of a fraction by an integer. e-Sports is a rapidly growing industry, which has gained popularity in the recent years. It is estimated that the global e-sports market will have a value of $1.87 billion in 2025. e-Sports competitions and tournaments are becoming increasingly popular, especially among schoolchildren and college students. The growth of leagues, at school level, requires that parents should understand this sport and have a positive attitude towards e-sports and e-sports events, due to the likely support that parents are required to provide to participants at these events. The study is a preliminary study, which aims to understand parents' view of e-sports, as a form of sports, to determine the financial investment to participate in e-sports and parents' experience during an e-sport event. The study used a qualitative approach, utilising a semi-structured interview schedule, with six parents interviewed at an event, as well as a focus group discussion, with 21 parents of e-sports players. The study found that parents have a positive perception of e-sports events and are fully supportive of their children participating in them. Further, it was concluded that e-sports is viewed as a form of sports and, in comparison to other 'traditional sports', it is actually a very affordable form of sport to partake in. Parents spend most of their money at e-sports events on food, whilst some parents will go to a restaurant after the event, to celebrate the child's accomplishments. The results of this preliminary study will guide further studies on e-sports events and are already giving an indication to e-sports organisers what the perspectives and needs of parents are. Hunger and food insecurity continue to rise in the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic affecting many vulnerable groups, especially children. As food is one of many fundamental human rights, looking into the problem contributes to helping uphold this basic right. Using survey data collected from households of public school children in a rural province and in a highly-urbanized city in the Philippines, we aim to compare three machine learning models, namely, logistic regression, support vector machine, and random forest, to predict the level of household food security based on geographic, household, and individual factors. A systematic assessment of the algorithms was performed by using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, which showed that logistic regression algorithm performed best in predicting levels of food insecurity among Filipino households. This study shows that ML-based predictive models can potentially identify the food insecurity levels of a household, which can be used in improving the targeting mechanisms of nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific programs. The main problem of children with dyslexia is related to reading. Hence, it is important to observe and analyze what the dyslexic students are doing while reading. In this study Miscue analysis was done to analyse the miscues and study the patterns of miscues of Dyslexic Students at Elementary School level. The miscue analysis procedure given by Goodman, Watson and Burke [1] and Arnold [2] were used in this study. Result showed that Total 2854 miscues were committed by the 42 identified dyslexic students. The participants committed 1322(46%) Substitution miscues, 215 (8%) Insertion miscues, 673 (24%) Omission miscues, 63 (2%) Reversal miscues, 257 (9%) Self-correction miscues and 324(11%) Refusal miscues. It can be concluded that students committed maximum Substitution (46%), followed by Omission (24%), Refusal (11%), Self-correction (9%), Insertion 215(8%), Reversal (2%). The students made the most substitution and the least reversal. The paper analyzes the impact of institutional Christian education on Roma children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. It specifically focuses on Roma children of the second stage of primary schools who participate only in religious education at school as a compulsory optional subject and for Roma children who, in addition to religious education at school, also participate in religious education within pastoral centres. The main intention of this contribution is the question – to find out if the church is effective enough in relation to the Roma ethnic group. We are based on the belief that the church has a great advantage over other ethnic groups in that it focuses on the inner rebirth of a person. In relation to marginalized Roma groups, it is an effort to change the thinking and behavior of these people so that they become a benefit to society. Based on the study of professional literature from the selected field, as well as practical experience we formulated the basic research problem: Is institutional Christian education sufficiently effective in the process of achieving positive changes in the behavior of Roma pupils from marginalized groups? The next aim was to find out what are the current possibilities and effectiveness of institutional Christian education for Roma pupils and to propose other possible solutions. We were interested in how the church can work effectively through its educational resources and also effectively improve the quality of life of Roma pupils and the Roma ethnic group in general. Based on the a bove, we could divide this goal into three sub-goals, namely: 1. Map the basic indicators of the institutional Christian education of Roma students in a multicultural environment. 2. Mathematical literacy is essential to help someone understand the use of mathematics in everyday life and use it in decision-making to solve a problem. However, the results of PISA 2018 state that Indonesia has low literacy and has not experienced development for the last 10-15 years. This study aimed to analyze mathematical literacy with students with low initial abilities in the material of speed, distance, and time. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this study was one student who was selected with a low midterm exam score using a purposive sampling technique, namely class V-A SDN Menanggal 601 Surabaya. Data collection methods used are mathematical literacy tests, interviews, and documentation that mathematics lecturers have validated. The results of this study indicate that the mathematical literacy of students with low initial ability can: 1) formulate real problems but they are incomplete because they do not write completely, do not use mathematics by applying an explicit mathematical model; 2) do not write down the formula, 3) correctly represent the solution that will be used directly. Egrang is one of the traditional games in Indonesia which is known in various regions with the same or different names. As part of a culture, traditional games contain a variety of knowledge that can be implemented in school learning. Generally, the implementation is done for one subject only. This study aims to explore egrang, identify ethnomathematics and ethnosports contained in it, and implement ethnomathematics and ethnosport in elementary school thematic learning. Research respondents are cultural figures in Banyuwangi and Surabaya, teachers, and third-grade students in an elementary school in Banyuwangi. The research uses ethnographic-based qualitative methods. Data were collected by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that there were ethnomathematics and ethnosport in egrang. The sorting of ethnomathematics and ethnosports that is implemented in learning shows that learning in elementary school grade 3 with thematic concepts provides an average value learning implementation of 4.37 which includes high criteria, and the value of completion of exercise is 87 which includes high criteria. The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted many sectors, one of which is education. Educators should ensure that teaching and learning activities continue even when students study at home. The solution is that educators must be able to use online media to innovate learning media. Learning technology can be used to facilitate these online learning activities. Information technology based learning media, such as animated interactive learning media, can train students' independence. This research aims to determine student responses to animated interactive learning media. The method used in this study is the research and development (R&D) method. It tests the research methods used to create specific products and the effectiveness of those products on six levels. Level 1 is potential and problems, level 2 is data collection, level 3 is product design, level 4 is design validation, level 5 is design revision, and level 6 is product testing. The feasibility of animated, interactive learning media was pre-tested by media experts and material experts. Student responses were collected from up to 20 students from elementary schools in the Karawang area using a questionnaire. The response questionnaire consists of 5 indicators: format, relevance, attention, satisfaction, and self-confidence. This study examines the improvement of mathematical communication skills in elementary school students by applying geometry learning based on van Hiele's theory and routine learning. A quasi-experimental quantitative survey method using a non-equivalent control group design. Participants totaled 63 people, not taken randomly. The instrument used is a test in the form of an essay; the questions are set in the form of mathematical communication skills. Data analysis used descriptive statistical tests and inferential statistics using the Mann-Whitney test. Research findings namely; Learning geometry based on Van Hiele's theory has an influence on mathematical communication skills in mathematics learning for elementary school students with a very high category; Improvement in mathematical communication skills between students learning geometry learning based on Van Hiele's theory and those learning applying conventional learning was a low category of performance; The improvement in mathematical communication skills among students learning geometry based on Van Hiele's theory is better than students learning through traditional learning. Purpose: Mathematical reasoning ability has an impact on problem solving abilities and becomes one of the basic foundations of students in understanding mathematics learning. However, several international study reports state that students' mathematical reasoning abilities are still relatively low. The purpose of this study is to analyze the need for teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on PBL (Problem Based Learning) containing ethnomathematics to stimulate students' mathematical reasoning abilities on KPK and FPB materials in fourth grade elementary school. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative method. The subject of the study involved teachers and fourth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Bangsri and SD Negeri 03 Bangsri, Karanganyar Regency. Data collection techniques using interviews, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is the interactive model developed by Miles and Huberman. Test the validity of the data by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. Results: The findings in this study inform that based on the results of teacher interviews, students' mathematical reasoning abilities are still not satisfactory. Especially on the KPK and FPB material in the context of problem solving. Furthermore, based on the results of the tests carried out, the average student score was 44.75. This means that if categorized, the average mathematical reasoning ability of students is sufficient. Students' mathematical reasoning ability is expected to continue to be developed and improved, considering that this ability is very essential in mathematics. Teaching materials used mainly to stimulate mathematical reasoning skills still need to be developed and innovated. 100% of teachers and students agree and support the development of Student Worksheets based on Problem Based Learning containing ethnomathematics.
