One of the uses of Artificial Intelligence in education is an Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS). ITS supports personalized and adaptive learning. The implementation of an Intelligent Tutoring System for the vocational study is still limited. This study aims to review the implementation of the technology and characteristics of the Intelligent Tutoring System for Air Traffic Control (ATC) Surveillance Training, considering ATC has a high workload to provide the safety of aircraft operation and needs holistic learning also in a good performance. Studies from 2016 to 2021 were extracted from databases and 33 articles were obtained out of 160 articles using PRISMA Protocol. The result shows mostly the purpose of ITS in ATC Training improve behavior and learning style, and the Artificial Intelligence technology the fuzzy base, and data mining is useful to improve learning performance. This study recommended fuzzy weight for cognitive level and Rule-Based decision-making for better accuracy of feedback to students in ATC Surveillance Training. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper proposes an original algorithm for automatic resolution of a multitude of conflicts in real airspace, the code and the calculation method being explained in detail in this paper. In this proposed new form, the generated algorithm also takes into account the problems that are previously detected and thus proposes a method to solve all these problems that inevitably appeared in the scientific research process. The problem of automating Air Traffic Control is an extremely important problem, which is continuously studied, because it offers a concrete solution in the conditions of exponential growth of air traffic, an increase that is estimated for the next 30 years as a pressing problem that requires early resolution. A fully automated solution will thus increase air efficiency while increasing air traffic safety, while certainly reducing the amount of effort for today's Air Traffic Controllers. The new form of implementation of this algorithm is expected to be much faster and more efficient in successfully resolving all the multitude of air conflicts. Also, the new algorithm can resolve existing conflicts between aircraft and if there is no solution that is strictly based on changing the flight speed of the aircraft considered. Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) is defined as any type of ground lighting intended to provide air navigation guidance to pilots. It consists of General Airport Lighting, Approach Lighting, Runway Lighting, and Taxiway Lighting. The AGL's intensity is controlled by Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) and maintained by Aerodrome Operator. There is lack of published official reports on the AGL Effectiveness in KLIA. Therefore, this paper discusses the importance of AGL Effectiveness especially in KL International Airport (KLIA)'s perspective and the sustainability elements in it as it is the main gateway and also the largest international airport in Malaysia. The aim of the article, in the pre-research issues, was to examine the scientific questions which cover the main ergonomic problems in the work environment of the training workplace for training of future air traffic controllers in the conditions of the educational institution.The methodology of researching the problem to achieve the goal of the article was based on an expert method, on a guided interview with instructors of practical training for air traffic controllers to obtain an expert opinion on identifying ergonomic problems from their own practice and exercises at the LETVIS SIM training workplace. The results of the pre-research made it possible to specify the strategy of scientific work and methodology for further research of the topic in the 5-stage cycle of the process solution.The main findings of the expert investigation have been in the area of expanding the workplaces of pseudo-pilots of surveillance / radar control by another screen which would contain electronic strips; extension of the workplaces of pseudo-pilots of procedural control with maps; height adjustment of work tables at all types of workplaces (an instructor,a pseudopilot, a student); individual lighting of work tables at all types of workplaces (an instructor, a pseudopilot, a student); the absence of an air-conditioning unit and the unsecured suitable ventilation of all rooms; the absence of heated work benches for the protection of the carpal tunnel of participants; the absence of economic chairs in the working environment of the training workplace.The outputs of the article within the pre-research have become the input part of a comprehensive expert assessment (identification, analysis and evaluation) of ergonomic problems in the working environment of the LETVIS SIM training workplace. The aim of the article is to identify, analyze and evaluate the scientific problem of the communication interface of workplaces for air traffic controllers in training in the training facility TU / LF Košice, especially in process and radar air traffic control, in the context of instructor-student and pseudopilot communication within the planned set of specific LETVIS workplaces. The formulation and description of a scientific problem will enable the determination of a methodology for researching the issue by scientific methods in the environment of SW tools and CAX systems for the design of a technical solution model in a specific environment of human activities providing air traffic services, with the transfer of science and research into education for Bc. study program "Air Traffic Control". Identification of a technical problem in the LETVIS environment will be used in the utility model application, which will also contain the technical solution itself and diagrams of the communication interface of workplaces for air traffic controllers in training in the conditions of LETVIS. Training for air traffic controllers has undergone changes over the years resulting in a loss of capability relative to university programs. New Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) initiatives currently underway offer some new paradigms that may represent improved training processes. The FAA's Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee is investigating outsourcing alternatives. A Center of Excellence in Technical Training and Human Performance was established by the FAA in 2016 to modernize and update air traffic controller training, and research has begun in key areas to support the transformation of training of air traffic personnel using distributed and adaptive learning technologies, modeling and simulation, and part-task training. In the paper, the results of the Passification Method with the Implicit Reference Model (IRM) approach are applied for designing the simple adaptive controller for quadrotor attitude. The IRM design technique makes it possible to relax the matching condition, known for habitual MRAC systems, and leads to simple adaptive controllers, ensuring fast tuning the controller gains, high robustness with respect to nonlinearities in the control loop, to the external disturbances and the unmodeled plant dynamics. For experimental evaluation of the adaptive systems performance, the 2DOF laboratory setup has been created. The testbed allows to safely test new control algorithms in the laboratory area with a small space and promptly make changes in cases of failure. The testing results of simple adaptive control of quadrotor attitude are presented, demonstrating efficacy of the applied simple adaptive control method. Air traffic flow has faced a big increase in the last decade, becoming one of the main transportation solutions. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and aeronautical industries are both predicting a growth between 150% and 250% over the next two decades. With this increasing number of aircrafts in the air, airports need also to improve their scheduling strategies to better control the coordination of landing planes. Air Traffic Controllers (ATCO) seek to minimize the waiting time on the aircraft waiting queue. However the ATCO normally use a First Come First Served (FCFS) technique driven by its simplicity. However, it has the disadvantage of offering poor performance when opposed to other strategies. Aiming to characterize and evaluate this performance and compare it with other algorithms, we have tested the application of some scheduling meta-heuristics to this problem, namely Tabu Search (TS) and Simulated Annealing (SA). Experiments show that SA outperforms TS by up to 55% and FCFS by up to 19%. We recommend that using the SA could help managers enhance their decisions over the currently used policies (FCFS) by providing a better scheduling for landing control and saving companies' time and money. Occupational stress was initially studied at the level of managers (stress of the executives), the study was subsequently enlarged to those professions with more intense demands and with a high risk degree: pilots, workers in the oil industry and nuclear centers, nurses, policemen, military etc., and it is accepted nowadays that occupational stress is present in all the activity fields and in all professions. In this paper, two common encounter geometries of aircrafts in terminal area are discussed. Probabilistic modes for aircraft motions are developed based on three-dimensional Brownian motion. The two common encounter geometries can be expressed in the same formula. After the non-orthogonal and orthogonal transformations, three-dimensional Brownian motion is standardized and the formula is simplified to derive the analytical solution. The conflict probability is equal to the probability that a standard three-dimensional Brownian motion hits a time-varying region. One of the phases of design of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) is the design of its controllers. This paper is concentrated on the design of controllers for the lateral motion of the UAV. We have choosen UAV, called Sojka III, flight-mechanical mathematical models of which are given in literature. Using method of pole placement we show design of a closed loop controller and results of its analysis to solve the functional problems of the flight control system given in one of the references. Communication plays an integral part in the operation of the aviation system. Few aviation activities can be executed without human interaction. This research is an examination of on aspect of aviation communication: pilot-air traffic controller (ATC) interaction. Two issues are examined in this study. The first issue is the role of politeness in pilot-ATC communication. The second issue is the effect of miscommunication. Polite communication and miscommunication have a theoretical link proposed by Brown and Levinson (1978) in their discussion of politeness theory. Being polite reduces clarity. Subjects completed seven trials of a computerized air traffic controller task. Behavioral modeling was given (early, late, or not at all) during skill acquisition.
