Background: Turner syndrome (TS) is caused by complete loss or structural anomalies of the Xchromosome (45X). Symptoms emerge slowly, where affected females can potentially develop a wide variety of symptoms. Common symptoms include short stature and premature ovarian failure, which can result in the failure to attain puberty. Aim: The aim of the study is to create awareness of Turner syndrome among dental students. Materials and method: A cross-sectional questionnaire survey study was conducted among Dental Colleges of Chennai. The age range was between 18 to 23 years. The questionnaire was set and circulated among dental students. The questions were mainly to create awareness of Turner syndrome to dental students. Results: Among the 150 dental students who participated in this survey, 129 (85.4%) participants were females and 21(14.6%) were males. 12(7.9%) participants are between 18-20years, 120(79.5%) participants are between 20-23years and 18 (12.6%) participants were more than 23 years age group. 147 of 97.4% say turner syndrome occurs in females and 3 participants are not aware. 142 (94%) participants are aware that turner syndrome is also called monosomy. Conclusion: From this study, we have concluded that dental students have awareness about Turner syndrome. Most of the students see Turner syndrome cases in day to day life. Introduction: Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is a traditional medicine used for weight loss. ACV is prepared by two-step fermentation. It contains pectin; Vitamin B1, B2, and B6; biotin; folic acid; niacin; pantothenic acid; and Vitamin C. ACV reduces hemoglobin A1C; lowers low-density lipoprotein and triglycerides; and increases high-density lipoprotein. ACV with mother of vinegar is more healthy and effective for weight loss, where ACV is unpasteurized, raw, and unfiltered. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional questionnaire survey study was conducted in Saveetha Dental College. The age range was between 18 and 28 years. The questionnaire was set and circulated among students. The questions were mainly based on the benefits and side effects of ACV. Results: There were 164 respondents, among which 42% of them are obese with body weight range between 50 kg and 100 kg. About 69% of students were aware of ACV. About 87% of students feel that ACV helps in weight loss. About 93% of students feel that unpasteurized ACV is more effective. Conclusion: From this study, we can conclude that students have sufficient knowledge of the benefits of ACV. Most of the students consume ACV in their day-to-day life to lose weight and some for to maintain hair and skin care. Aim: This work aimed at studying the effects of β sitosterol on the viability and proliferation of lung adenocarcinoma cells- A549. Materials and Methods: In vitro anti-proliferative effect of β sitosterol on human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549 at the time interval of 24 h. Results: β sitosterolon significantly reduced viability of cancer cells at all assayed concentrations, the higher doses also reducing cell proliferationl when compared to untreated control cells but in the case of Vero cells –non cancerous cells produced 5% reduction of cell viability even at at higher concentration, whereas the β- sitosterol at the lower concentrations did not affect the viability and the β-sitosterol was safe for vero normal cells. Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the student perception on the use of video tutorials for learning preclinical prosthodontics. Methods: A questionnaire will be prepared and distributed to the dental students of the Saveetha Dental College. The resulting data will be analyzed using statistical software. The presence of our researchers in this present study, with different teaching experience and type of expertise, helped in better understanding of the research related issues from varying perspectives, thus helping in increasing the validity of the study. The study subjects knew the main investigator. Informed consent was taken from the participants. Results: In the survey conducted among 100 individuals of Saveetha Dental College, it is conducted among the individuals of the age range of 17-30 years. It had been observed that 85% of people feel comfortable to learn through video tutorials or preclinical experiences. About 84% of students are able to answer the question after watching the preclinical videos. About 75% of students feel that it is useful to learn through video tutorials for preclinical prosthodontics. Conclusion: The research had proved that difficulties going through by the professor and the pupil in teaching and learning of preclinical prosthodontics and it also includes their necessities for their improvement. Introduction: Cervical spondylosis (CS) is an age-related issue of the vertebral segment and found wherever in more elderly individuals. It is caused mostly due to bike riding. It depicts the morphological signs of unending and dynamic degeneration of the cervical spine that first influences the intervertebral disc and afterward influences the nearby vertebrae, the joints, the tendons, and in extraordinary cases, the substance of the spinal column. Materials and Methods: A total of 100 subjects will be subjected to a list of questions on the effects of riding bike, and the manifestations of the neck pain are correlated with CS among bike riders. All the collected data are analyzed systematically with the normal and affected individuals. The results obtained were analyzed statistically, tabulated, and represented graphically. Results: As per the result, it had seen that youngsters are more prevalent toward CS among bike riders in South Indian population. It is seen that 62% of male individuals, 36% of the female individuals, and 2% others are facing CS. About 53% of people between the age ranges of 12 and 18 face CS. About 53% of people do not have any kind of neck pain at present. About 53% of people feel discomfort in the neck region during bike riding. About 59% of individuals do not have pain in the neck after riding bike. Conclusion: From the results, it is observed that bike riding has a great impact over the CS. About 48% of people had heard about CS. About 47% of people go for a long ride in motorcycle. About 61% of people do not have any back pain due to long ride in motorcycle. About 42% of people feel that the type of motorcycle has an influence over the neck pain. About 59% of people think that the type of road they are using has an influence over the neck pain.
