In this paper, we argue that the temporal dynamic patterns of entrepreneurial activities affect the likelihood of new venture creation. We put forward theoretical model based on complexity science, and test these hypotheses using longitudinal data from Chinese Panel Study of Entrepreneurial Dynamics. This paper reaches the following findings: 1 Rate and new ventures' initial performance shows an inverse U-shaped curvilinear relationship; 2 A lower concentration is associated with a higher likelihood of new ventures' initial performance. This paper concludes with some suggestions for the role of temporal dynamic patterns of entrepreneurial activities in new venture creation. A complexity science approach holds valuable potential for entrepreneurship scholars as it provides a useful way to frame and explain new firm formation. We expect for furthering insights into the process of new venture creation.

Aiming at the problem that traditional image processing equipments are bulky, high power consumption, difficult to move and costly, this paper puts forward a new idea of developing an image processing system on embedded platform, which is designed and implemented with S3C2410 for the core processor, ARM Linux for the operation system platform and MiniGui for the graphical user interface. The hardware architecture is introduced and the design, realization and operation of the software system is described in detail. The testing results indicate that the embedded image processing system is running well, strongly real-time under the conditions of relatively scarce embedded system’s hardware and software resources, and can display clear digital image processing results.

Embedded application is a hotspot at present and Linux gradually becomes the most important operating system for embedded applications. Aiming at the real-time problems of Linux and from five performance parameters of real-time operating system, this paper analyzes and concludes that scheduling latency and interrupt latency are the fundamental constraints for improving real-time performance of Linux 2.6 kernel, then designs and implements a new task model and new interrupt operations to solve the above problem. Hard real-time task scheduling algorithm which is named as Priority Bitmap Algorithm, new interrupt response and new interrupt operations are emphasized and main codes are given out. Through realfeel testing, response time of real-time task is indicated to be shortened largely and meets the initial expectation.

A Series of samples of ultra thin AlGaAs films grown on GaAs(100) substrate by MBE are studied by photomodulated reflectance (PR)spectroscopy in ultra high vacuum chamber.More than one peak are observed for samples with thickness less than 35nm,but only one peak is observed for 100nm thick sample,The position and width of these peaks change with sample thickness.The experimental results are well explained by step potential model.
