In this project we compare the relative weights of unattractive, "less is better" attributes, versus attractive, "more is better", attributes in evaluations of options across attractive and unattractive consideration sets.

Does presenting a product in Augmented Reality (vs. alternative forms of presentation) increase participants’ perceived ownership for a product and is this increase explained by participants’ perceived proximity to the product?

The research tests whether adding paper to plastic packaging makes packaging seem more environmentally friendly overall; and if adding more paper makes this effect stronger.

Participants will require a greater price discount to switch from paper to plastic packaging compared to switching from paper to paper + plastic packaging. In a choice titration task, participants will have a lower average switching point when switching from paper packaging to paper + plastic packaging compared to participants who switch from paper to plastic packaging. We expect that this effect is mediated by the perceived environmental friendliness of the paper + plastic (plastic) packaging.

Our research examines the role of timbre on CEO leadership. We hypothesize that higher levels of middle MFCC coefficients indicating stronger and deeper voices influences leadership effectiveness. In order to test our hypothesis, we aim to empirically examine timbre by manipulating timbre of CEO voices and asking participants to evaluate their perceptions of leadership effectiveness.
