The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy and precision of the three-dimensional (3D) imaging system of children’s facial soft tissue by comparing linear measurements. The subjects of the study were 15 children between the ages of 7 and 12. Twenty-three landmarks were pointed on the face of each subject and 16 linear measurements were directly obtained 2 times using an electronic caliper. Two sets of 3D facial images were made by the 3D scanner. The same 16 measurements were obtained on each 3D image. In the accuracy test, the total average difference was 0.9 mm. The precision of 3D photogrammetry was almost equivalent to that of direct measurement. Thus, 3D photogrammetry by the 3D scanner in children had sufficient accuracy and precision to be used in clinical setting. However, the 3D imaging system requires the subject’s compliance for exact images. If the clinicians provide specific instructions to children while obtaining 3D images, the 3D device is useful for investigating children’s facial growth and development. Also the device can be a valuable tool for evaluating the results of orthodontic and orthopedic treatments.

- Abstract

In this paper, we propose a IoT service platform with CapSG to provide efficient access control for IoT various services of the environment. CapSG uses a token including authentication and access rights to perform authentication and access control service entity providing services. In addition, the generated token for service management, delegation, revocation, and provides a function such as denied. Also, it provides functions such as generation, delegation, disposal and rejection for service token management. In this paper, it provides the flexibility and efficiency of the access control for various services require of the IoT because of it is available to access control specific domain service by using the token group for each domain and is designed to access control using specific service token of tokens group. Keywords:IoT, Capability Access Control, Security, Access Control

In our study, the several cytokines were determined in phytohaemagglutinin (PHA)-stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) of Adamantiades-Behcets patients. Adamantiades-Behcets disease (ABD) is a systemic inflammatory disorder and might involve immune dysfunction. High levels of and indicate the activation of inflammatory reactions and immune system in ABD. Gami-Phedoc-San (GPS) is an Oriental herbal medication, which has been used in Korea for the treatment of ABD. GPS (1 mg/ ml) significantly inhibited the secretion of proinflammatory cytokines, , compared to absence of GPS (by inhibition for and for ). GPS also inhibited the production of , immunoregulatory Th1 cytokine, by . The inhibitory effects of GPS on cytokine secretion showed dose-dependent manner, and the pre-treatment of 1 mg/ml GPS had better effects than immunosuppressive drug for treatment of ABD, cyclosporin A. Our results suggest that GPS treatment for ABD patients might have pharmacological activity of immune and inflammatory responses through the cytokine modulation.

There are over 4,000 different chemicals in cigarette smoke, including nicotine and tar. These compounds influence on lung tissue directly or indirectly. In this study, we have examined whether an aqueous extract of Se-Yeon-Eum (SYE), composed of Oriental medicine that has been known to be effective to symptom by smoking, inhibits nicotine- or cigarette smoke extract (CSE)-induced cytotoxicity in human embryonic lung fibroblast, MRC-9. Assessment of cell viability using 3-(4,5-dimethythiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide colorimetric assay indicated that SYE inhibited not only nicotine-induced cytotoxicity but also CSE-induced cytotoxicity. These results suggest the possibility that the use of SYE may be useful for improvement of many symptoms by smoking.

This research was aiming at comparing and analyzing commercialization efficiency of national R&D projects of government ministries to improve technology commercialization performance of national R&D projects by applying Data Envelope Analysis (DEA) method. Through correlation analysis of various factors, several measures were proposed for the improvement of commercialization results. It was indicated from this research that government investment and policy were vital factors in improving technology commercialization through national R&D projects.
