- Abstract
Objective: The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of laughter yoga applied to Nursing 1st year students before the skill practice exam on exam anxiety. Material and Methods: The research was carried out between 30 May and 2 June 2022 in a single-group pre-test-post-test order using a quasi-experimental design. The sample of the study consisted of 48 first-year nursing students who voluntarily accepted to participate in the study and took the Fundamentals of Nursing course in the spring term of 2021-2022. The students who accepted to participate in the study were given 4 sessions of laughter yoga practice, which lasted approximately 30 minutes, 3 days before the clinical practice exam and on the morning of the exam. Before and after the application, students were asked to fill in the Exam Anxiety Scale. Results: After the application, it was determined that the mean scores of the students on the Exam Anxiety Scale decreased, but the difference was not statistically significant (p> 0.05). The pretest score average of the students in the mental and physical reactions sub-dimension was determined as 3.39± 0.67, while the posttest score average was 3.23. It was determined as ± 0.78. In the statistical analysis; It was determined that the difference between the mean scores of the mental and physical reactions sub-dimension of the scale before and after the laughter yoga practice of the students was statistically significant. Amaç: Bu çalışma, Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin Intravenöz (IV) kateter bakımıyla ilgili bilgi düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Metod: Araştırma bir vakıf üniversitesinin Hemşirelik Yüksekokulu’nda öğrenimlerini sürdüren ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 211 hemşirelik öğrenciyle tanımlayıcı olarak yürütüldü. Veriler kurum izni ve etik kurul onayı alınarak anket formu ile toplandı. Anketler istatistik programı kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Öğrenci hemşirelerin IV kateter bakımına ilişkin bilgi düzeyi değerlendirme formu puanları 20,15± 2,349 olarak bulunmuş olup, sosyo demografik verilere göre karşılaşması yapıldığında cinsiyetlerine ve IV kateter bakımı ile ilgili eğitim alma durumlarına göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark belirlendi (p

11. Ulusal Alan Yazında Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinde İşbirlikli Öğrenme Yöntemlerinin Kullanımı: Sistematik Derleme.

- Abstract
Objective: This systematic review study was conducted to examine the use of cooperative learning methods, which is an innovative approach, in nursing education. Material and Method: Literature search was carried out in national databases. PICOS was taken into consideration for the selection of keywords and various Turkish combinations of keywords were used. Full-text articles in randomized, non-randomized controlled and descriptive research designs published between January 2010 and February 2021 were included in the study. Results: As a result of the search, 688 articles were reached. Repetitive articles obtained from databases were excluded from the study. After the title, abstract and full text elimination, the remaining studies were evaluated for compliance with the inclusion criteria. As a result of the evaluations, it was determined that there were 5 articles that met all the criteria. In these articles, it was determined that the Jigsaw technique, which is one of the cooperative learning methods, is an effective teaching method in increasing the academic success, permanence of knowledge and psychomotor skill levels of the students compared to the traditional method. At the same time, with the cooperative learning method used in standardized patient practice, it was concluded that the knowledge and skill levels of the students increased and their anxiety levels decreased. It was found that the Flipped Learning model, which is another cooperative learning method, is a learning method that improves students' sense of motivation, the use of learning strategies, and students' academic success. Conclusion: As a result, although it is seen that cooperative learning methods have various benefits in nursing education, it is suggested that there are not enough studies on this subject in our country and that nursing studies should be increased. Amaç: Çalışma klinik uygulama deneyimi yaşayan hemşirelik öğrencilerinin depresyon düzeyleri ile bakım davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı ilişkisel araştırma tasarımında gerçekleştirilmiştir.Yöntem: Çalışma; bir devlet üniversitesinin hemşirelik bölümünde klinik uygulama deneyimi yaşayan 503 hemşirelik öğrencisinden çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden, formlardaki tüm soruları cevaplandıran 234 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Beck Depresyon Ölçeği” ve “Bakım Davranışları Ölçeği-24” ile 10 Mart-15 Mayıs 2019 tarihleri arasında yüz yüze veri toplama yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS 22.0 programında yapılmıştır.Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.63±1.40 olup, %80.0’ı kadındır ve yaklaşık yarısı (%54.7) hemşirelik bölümünü isteyerek tercih etmiştir. Öğrencilerin %5.6’sının (n=13) şiddetli depresif belirtiler gösterdiği ve “Beck Depresyon Ölçeği” puan ortalamalarının 13.42 ± 9.00 olduğu saptanmıştır. “Bakım Davranışları Ölçeği-24” toplam puan ortalamaları 4.88 ± 0.66 olan öğrenciler en yüksek puan ortalamasını ölçeğin “saygılı olma” alt boyutundan almışlardır. Beck Depresyon Ölçek puanı ve Bakım Davranışları Ölçeği-24 toplam ve alt boyutları arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli fakat zayıf düzeyde negatif yönlü bir korelasyon saptanmıştır (p, Aim: The study was carried out in a descriptive relational research design to determine the relationship between depression levels and care behaviors of nursing students who have clinical practice experience.Method: The study was conducted with 234 students, who accepted to participate in the study and completed the forms, out of 503 nursing students who had previous clinical practice experience in the nursing department of a state university. Data were collected with face-to-face data collection method using “Introductory Information Form”, “Beck Depression Scale” and “Caring Behaviors Scale-24” between March 10- May 15, 2019. The analysis of the obtained data was carried out using the SPSS 22.0 program.Results: The mean age of the students participating in the study was 20.63±1.40 years, 80.0% of them were women, and about half (54.7%) of them willingly preferred the nursing department. It was stated that 5.6% (n=13) of the students showed severe depressive symptoms and that "Beck Depression Scale” mean score was found to be 13.42 ± 9.00. Students with a total mean score of 4.88 ± 0.66 on the "Caring Behaviors Scale-24" got the highest mean score from the "being respectful" sub-dimension of the scale. 18. Perceptions of nursing students taking the course of child health and diseases nursing about concept map: a metaphor study

Araştırma ile Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersini alan hemşirelik öğrencilerinin kavram haritasına ilişkin algılarının metafor aracılığıyla ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini kavram haritasına dayalı eğitim alan ilk ve tek grup olan, 2020-2021 Eğitim Öğretim Yılı Bahar Yarıyılında Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği Dersini alan hemşirelik öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Dersi alan 103 öğrenciden 53’ünün katılımı ile araştırma tamamlanmıştır. Veriler Öğrenci Bilgi Formu ve kavram haritası algılarını sorgulayan, “Kavram Haritası… gibidir, çünkü…” metafor cümlesi kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veriler içerik analiz tekniğiyle çözümlenmiştir. Öğrencilerinin %75,47’si kız ve yaş ortalaması 22,21±3,23 yıldır. Öğrenciler “Kavram Haritası” algısına yönelik 32 metafor oluşturmuştur. Frekansı en yüksek metaforlar “yapboz (f=7)”, “puzzle (f=6), “örümcek ağı (f=4) ve “soy ağacı (f=3)” dır. Tüm metaforlar yedi kategoride toplanmıştır. Bu kategoriler; “bütünlük”, “yol gösterme”, “bağlantı”, “başlangıç”, “merkez”, “kontrol” ve “alışkanlık/besin” kategorileridir. Araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturan öğrencilerin ağırlıklı olarak “kavram haritası”na ilişkin olumlu metaforik algılara sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir., The aim of the research is to reveal the perceptions of the nursing students who take the Pediatric Nursing course about the concept map through metaphor. Phenomenology design was used in the research. This design is one of the qualitative research methods. The sample of the research consisted of nursing students who took the Pediatric Nursing Course in the Spring Semester of the 2020-2021 academic year at a public university. These students are the first and only group to receive a concept map-based-education at the faculty. The research was completed with the participation of 53 of the 103 students who took the course. The data were collected with the Student Information Form and the metaphor sentence “Concept Map…, because…”. The data were analyzed by content analysis technique. 75.47% of the students are girls, the mean age is 22.21±3.23 years. Students created 32 metaphors for the perception of “Concept Map”. The metaphors with the highest frequency are “simple puzzle (f=7)”, “puzzle (f=6)”, “spider web (f=4)” and “family tree (f=3)”. All metaphors were gathered in seven categories. Categories are “integrity”, “guidance”, “connection”, “start”, “centre”, “control”, “habit/food”. Most of the students participating in the research have positive metaphorical perceptions about the concept map.

It was found that the Flipped Learning model, which is another cooperative learning method, is a learning method that improves students' sense of motivation, the use of learning strategies, and students' academic success.Conclusion: As a result, although it is seen that cooperative learning methods have various benefits in nursing education, it is suggested that there are not enough studies on this subject in our country and that nursing studies should be increased., Amaç: Bu sistematik derleme çalışması, yenilikçi bir yaklaşım olan işbirlikli öğrenme yöntemlerinin hemşirelik eğitiminde kullanımını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Materyal-Metot: Literatür taraması Google Akademik, Dergipark, YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi ve ULAKBİM TR Dizin veri tabanlarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anahtar kelimelerin seçimi için PICOS (Population, Intervention, Compare, Outcome, Study Design) dikkate alınmıştır ve anahtar kelimelerinin çeşitli Türkçe kombinasyonları kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya Ocak 2010-Şubat 2021 yılları arasında yayınlanmış randomize, non-randomize kontrollü ve tanımlayıcı araştırma desenlerindeki tam metin makaleler ve tezler dahil edilmiştir. Bulgular: Tarama sonucunda 688 makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Veri tabanlarından elde edilen tekrarlı makaleler araştırmadan çıkarılmıştır. Başlık, özet ve tam metin elemesinden sonra kalan çalışmaların dahil edilme kriterlerine uygunluğu değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirmeler sonucunda tüm kriterlere uyan 5 makale olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu makalelerde işbirlikli öğrenme yöntemlerinden biri olan Jigsaw tekniğinin geleneksel yönteme göre öğrencilerin akademik başarısını, bilgilerinin kalıcılığını ve psikomotor beceri düzeylerini arttırmada etkili bir öğretim yöntemi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Aynı zamanda standardize hasta uygulamasında kullanılan işbirlikli öğrenme yöntemi ile birlikte öğrencilerin bilgi ve beceri düzeylerinin arttığı ve kaygı düzeylerinin ise azaldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. İşbirlikli öğrenme yöntemlerinden bir diğeri olan Ters Yüz Öğrenme modelinin öğrencilerdeki güdülenme duygusu, öğrenme stratejilerinin kullanımı ve öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını geliştiren bir öğrenme yöntemi olduğu sonucu bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak işbirlikli öğrenme yöntemlerinin hemşirelik eğitiminde çeşitli yararlarının olduğu görülmek ile birlikte bu konuyla ile ilgili ülkemizde yeterli sayıda çalışma olmadığı ve hemşirelik çalışmalarının arttırılması gerektiği önerilmektedir.

Amaç: Araştırma ile “Hemşirelikte Etik” dersini alan hemşirelik öğrencilerinin etik kavramına ilişkin algılarının metafor aracılığıyla ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem: Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama aşaması, Nisan-Mayıs 2021 tarihlerinde bir devlet üniversitesinin hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinden, hemşirelik bölümü sekizinci dönem dersi olan “Hemşirelikte Etik” dersini alan 39 öğrencinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler Öğrenci Bilgi Formu ile Etik algılarını sorgulayan, “Etik … gibidir, çünkü…” metafor cümlesi kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aşaması online olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrenciler arasında cevabı metafor içermeyen öğrenci bulunmadığından, araştırma 39 hemşirelik öğrencisi ile tamamlanmıştır. “Etik” algısına yönelik üretilen metaforlar; Yol Gösterme, Parçalardan Oluşan Bütün, Bireye Özgülük ve Hassasiyet/Güçlülük olmak üzere toplam dört kategoride toplanmıştır. Sonuç: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin “etik” algısına yönelik ağırlıklı olarak olumlu metaforlara sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin etik kavramına ilişkin metaforlarının çeşitlilik göstermesi ise bu dersin öğrencilerin eleştirel düşünmelerine katkısını net olarak yansıtmaktadır., Objective: The purpose of this study was to use metaphor to expose the perceptions of fourth-year nursing students who studied the “Ethics in Nursing” course on the concept of ethics.Methods: The study used phenomenology design, which is a qualitative research method. The data collection phase of the study was carried out in April-May 2021 with the participation of 39 students who took the “Ethics in Nursing” course, which is the eighth semester course of the nursing department from a state university. The data were collected using the Student Information Form and the metaphor sentence “Ethics is like … because…”. The data collection phase was carried out online. Results: Since there were no students whose answers did not contain metaphors, the study was completed with 39 nursing students. The metaphors produced for the perception of “ethics” were gathered in four categories. These categories are; guidance, the whole made up of parts, individuality and vulnerability/strength.Conclusion: It has been determined that nursing students have predominantly positive metaphors for the perception of “ethics”. The diversity of students' metaphors regarding the concept of ethics clearly reflects the contribution of this course to students' critical thinking.

Background: It is very important for nursing students to be sensitive to patient privacy, in terms of their professional stance in their professional life.Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine the views of 4th grade nursing students about patient privacy in perinatal clinics.Methods: In this study, phenomenological qualitative method was applied. The sample of the research consisted of 25 students studying in the 4th grade of in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. Data were collected by semi-structured in-depth individual interview method between December 2019 and March 2020. The data obtained during the interview were analyzed through content analysis. Results: The data obtained were grouped under five themes as the definition of privacy, the staff’s attitude towards patient privacy, the reflection of the violation of privacy on the patient, the difficulties encountered in protecting patient privacy, and the actions to be taken to protect patient privacy. The majority of students stated that the staff working in the perinatal clinics were negligent in protecting patient privacy. Students stated that it would be beneficial to educate the staff about patient privacy and to adjust the physical conditions of the hospital environment to protect privacy.Conclusion: Privacy in perinatal health services is a very important issue that is not emphasized enough. In this study; It has been determined that student nurses have a high awareness of patient privacy and that new studies on the subject are needed., Giriş: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin hasta mahremiyetine duyarlı olması, onların meslek yaşamında profesyonel bir duruş sergilemesi açısından oldukça önemlidir.Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, dördüncü sınıf hemşirelik öğrencilerinin perinatal kliniklerde hasta mahremiyetine yönelik görüşlerini belirlemektir.Yöntem: Bu araştırmada, fenomenolojik nitel yöntem uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2019-2020 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılı Güz Döneminde dördüncü sınıfta öğrenim gören 25 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Aralık 2019- Mart 2020 tarihleri arasında yarı yapılandırılmış derinlemesine bireysel görüşme yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Görüşmede elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi yoluyla çözümlenmiştir. Bulgular: Elde edilen veriler mahremiyetin tanımı, personelin hasta mahremiyetine yönelik tutumu mahremiyet ihlalinin hastaya yansıması hasta mahremiyetini korumada karşılaşılan güçlükler ve hasta mahremiyetini korumaya yönelik yapılması gerekenler şeklinde beş tema altında gruplandırılmıştır. Öğrencilerin çoğunluğu perinatal kliniklerde görev yapan personelin hasta mahremiyetini koruma konusunda özensiz davrandıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Öğrenciler, personelin hasta mahremiyeti konusunda eğitilmesi ve hastane ortamının fiziki koşullarında düzenleme yapılmasının mahremiyeti koruma konusunda faydalı olacağını söylemişlerdir.Sonuç: Perinatal sağlık hizmetlerinde mahremiyet üzerinde yeterince durulmayan oldukça önemli bir konudur. Bu araştırmada; öğrenci hemşirelerin hasta mahremiyeti konusunda farkındalıklarının yüksek olduğu, konuyla ilgili yeni çalışmalara gereksinim duyulduğu belirlenmiştir.

Objective: The study was conducted to determine the health school nursing students' healthy lifestyle behaviors and influencing factors. Methods: The study is descriptive. Population of the study comprised 220 first, second, third and fourth class health school students from Hatay Mustafa Kemal University in 2010-2011 academic year. And the sample included 197 students who agreed to participate in the study. Data was collected by performing the personal information form and scale of healthy lifestyle behaviors. Frequency, percentage, t test, Mann-Whitney U, One-Way ANOVA and Tukey's HSD test were used to evaulate the data. Results: Students' healthy lifestyle behaviors general score is determined as 122.09 ± 16.93. Responsibility for nutrition and health sub-scale scores of female students were higher than males and significant (p <0.05). The exercise subscale mean scores of male students were significantly higher than female students (p <0.05). Conclusion: As a result, students' healthy life style behaviors were generally found to be medium level in this study. Generating education programs by considering healthy lifestyle behavior influencing factors and making these programs a part of curriculum in a way of extending all years is recommended. AIM: This study was carried out as a definitive work in order to determine the thoughts and anxiety levels of nursing students intended for clinical practice. METHODS: The scope of the research was composed of the students who took Essentials of Profession lesson at first grade, Surgery at second grade and Child Diseases at third grade in Mugla University, Mugla School of Health Sciences Department of Nursing. Of 149 students, 126 (%84.36) were completed the study. Data was collected using a questionnaire prepared by the researchers and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. RESULTS: The mean age of the students included in the study was 20.15±1.52 years. 77.8% of the nursing students stated that they feel ready for the clinical practice, 51.6% thought that their theoretical knowledge was not sufficient for the clinical practice, 46% there were applications that they were afraid to perform during the clinical practice and 50.8% stated that they were excited about the clinical practice. There was a statistically significant difference average score of state anxiety level between pre and post clinical practice results of State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (p<0.05). CONCLUSION: It was concluded that anxiety levels of nursing students were higher before they start clinical practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

School-hospital cooperation is based on the fact that theorical knowledge which are accepted with scentific development are transformed into practice in clinical area and that teaching staffs, student nurses and service nurses make adequate cooperation and thus professional quality is increased. Our study was done descriptively to examine (the points of) views of the nurses working in Burdur State Hospital into the clinical practices of student nurses and into cooperation with teaching staffs. Our research was performed over 71 nurses working in Burdur State Hospital between 6th and 17th of November, 2005. The nurses view Burdur State Hospital, where our student nurses have been practicing as partly suitable or middle-level suitable as regards with physical structure, patient capacity and ease variety. 29,6% of the nurses stated that the most positive sides of working together with student nurses were the facts that their contribution to the education of their colleagues in future increased their professional satisfaction and develoment of their nursing care practices. Nurses while working with student nurses, were concerned that student nurses might do defective practice (69%). 54,4% of the nurses stated that they might contribute into their practice together with their teaching staffs, 26,8% of them to theorical and practical applications and 12,7% to theorical lessons. Service nurses wanted to work together with student nurses but not separately. That service nurses are willing to contribute to the education of student nurses provides looking at future hopefully. Service nurses should be given planned, structured and comprehensive education towards student education. Nurses who are in cooperation with student nurses in clinical area should at least have bachelor's degree or graduate degree. Institutions should grow faith in making cooperation. Service nurses should be given in-service training by teaching staff for taking responsibility in student nurses' practices and for contributing to theorical education. The problems with teaching staffs and nurses working at hospital experience in student education can only be solved in a working system in which both groups joins their stregth together. Method: Research took place in a State Hospital and a School of Health Sciences in Kirsehir. The universe of the study consists of 160 clinic nurses and 84 trainee student nurses having done their internal medicine training program in this hospital in 20102011 educational year. The sample of the research consists of 107 nurses accepting to take part in the research and 84 students. The questionnaires were designed separately for students and nurses by the researchers and were applied to the nurses in clinic and to the students during class. In the assessment of the datum, percent and frequency tests in SPSS 16.0 program were used. Results: While % 85.0 of the nurses stated that they encouraged students to ask questions and replied to them, % 77,6 of the nurses stated that they observed the students' clinic skills and as a result of this observation, they informed the students about the weak and strong points of their skills in order to improve via feedback, % 79,4 of the nurses stated that they taught the right to the student with a weak or lack skill in application, % 45,2 of the students stated that they couldn't get any answer to their question, % 60,7 stated that clinic applications were observed by the nurses, % 63,1 of the students stated that they didn't get any feedback following the clinic skill, only % 8,3 of the students stated that the correct form of the weak or lack application skills was shown. Conclusion: Consequently, while students of nursery think that clinic nurses contribute little to their training and that clinic nurses do not take enough responsibility, in clinic trainings, clinic nurses state that they support clinic students enough in patient care, watch and treatment, and that they see themselves as good role models in clinic education.

Amaç: Bu araştırma, öğrenci hemşirelere yönelik geliştirilen Cinselliği Değerlendirme Becerisi Geliştirme Programı’nın değerlendirilmesinde kullanılmak üzere hazırlanan Cinselliği Değerlendirme Bilgi Testi (CDBT)’nin geçerlik ve güvenirliğini belirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Metodolojik olarak yapılan bu çalışmada. öğrenci hemşirelerin cinselliği değerlendirme bilgisini ölçmeye yönelik toplam 51 sorudan oluşan çoktan seçmeli (beş seçenekli) test hazırlanmıştır. Testin kapsam geçerliliği uzman görüşü doğrultusunda yapılmıştır. Uzmanların önerileri doğrultusunda bilgi testinde gerekli düzeltmeler yapılmış ve test Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü son sınıf öğrencilerine (n=90) uygulanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 14 paket programında değerlendirilmiştir. İstatistiksel analizde madde güçlük ve madde ayırt edicilik değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Bilgi testinde yer alan soruların iç tutarlılığını belirlemek için Cronbach alfa güvenilirliği hesaplanmıştır. Bulgular: Yapılan analizler doğrultusunda işlemeyen sorular çıkarılmış ya da soru üzerinde gerekli düzenlemeler yapılmış ve 32 sorudan oluşan testin son hali elde edilmiştir. Güvenilirlik katsayısı 0.76 olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Bu araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar, Cinselliği Değerlendirme Bilgi Testi’nin öğrenci hemşirelerin cinselliği değerlendirme bilgisini ölçmede geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu göstermektedir., Developing, Reliability and Validation of Sexuality Assessment Information Test Prepared for Nursing Students Aim: This study was carried out in order to determine validity and reliability of Sexuality Assessment Information Test (SAIT) to be used in the evaluation of Improvement Program of Sexuality Evaluation Skill developed towards nursing students. Method: In this study that carried out as methodologically, multiple choice test (five choice) which is composed of 51 questions was prepared in order to determine sexuality assessment information of nursing students. Content validity of the test was done in accordance with the expert opinion. Necessary correction were done in the information test according to the expert opinions and the test was applied on final year students (n=90) at Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department. Data were evaluated in SPSS 14 package program. Correlation of item difficulty and item discrimination values were calculated in the statistical analysis. Cronbach alpha reliability was calculated in order to determine internal consistency of questions in the information test, Results: As a result of the analyses, questions that did not work were excluded or necessary corrections were done and finally test was prepared including 32 questions. Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient was found to be 0,76. Conclusion: Resuts from obtained this study show that Sexuality Assessment Information Test was a measurement tool with high reliability and validity to determine the sexuality assessment information of nursing students.

Çalışmanın amacı: Bu çalışma, bir grup öğrenci hemşirede Atılganlık Eğitimi’nin etkinliğini belirlemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Atılganlık eğitiminin etkinliğine karar vermek için yarı deneysel, tek grup pretest-posttest araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Kurum izni ve çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin izni alınarak üç ayrı grup öğrenci hemşireye, araştırmacı tarafından 8 oturumdan oluşan Atılganlık eğitimi uygulanmış, uygulama öncesi ve sonrası yapılan testlerle eğitimin etkinliği saptanmıştır. Çalışmada, öğrencilerin özelliklerini belirleyen anket formu ve A.S Rathus (1977)’un geliştirdiği ve Nilüfer Voltan Acar (1980)’ın Türkçeye uyarlama çalışması yaptığı Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri (RAE-Rathus assertiveness Schedule) kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda veriler, “student t” ve “Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test” ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Öğrencilere verilen atılganlık eğitiminin, öğrencilerin atılgan davranış göstermesinde etkili olduğu bulunmuştur (t: -2,516; p, The aim of study: The aim of this research was determined the efficiency of the assertivite training for a group of student nurses. Method :In order to establishe the efficiency of assertivite training a semi-emprical single group, pretest-posttest research model has been used. After the institute and studends permission, assertivite training was given and, practiced by the researher to three group of student nurses in eight session; then the efficiency of the training was evaluated by pre and post tests.
