This study aims to examine the book titled "Defining Service Success in Research Libraries: The Example of ISAM Library", which was derived from Nuri Taşkın's doctoral thesis with the same name. The book consists of four chapters that include the evaluation of the factors affecting the service success of research libraries with the example of the Center for Islamic Research (ISAM) Library in line with user opinions. With this book, researchers will be able to obtain comprehensive information about research libraries and ISAM Library, as well as reach the results of a qualitative assessment on service success. Data mining, which is a new technique interested in discovering knowledge huge amount of data, has been effectively used in many sectors especially in banking, assurancy, medicine and marketing. Web mining, which is an application of data mining, performs data mining functions on web data. With the help of web mining, which is seperated into two branches as web content mining and web usage mining, discovery and analysis of useful knowledge on web is made. Existance of user access patterns which is included in the subject of web content mining, is being done especially with the link analysis that is a technique of data mining. In this study, access patterns of library users is tried to be found based on web logs of library web site.

This research, in different districts of the province of in levels of selected middle school students uses the library, in terms of different variables, a descriptive study evaluating. 6, 7 and 8 grade students' perspectives on the library, parent education level, the library of their choice on the type, frequency of library use, library use were examined according to the purpose. Form with personal information obtained from the data analysis was done with chi-square test using SPSS 11.5 software program. According to this research, levels of middle school students use the library according to parents' education has not changed, but the preferred type of library and reached the conclusion those changes according to the people directing students to use the library. The main purpose of şis study is to examine şe effect of discipline as an explanatory factor on e-journal use in şe Istanbul University context. The article is about the historical development of this special service in Turkey. Provement of this special service by assistive technological solution and information technology has removed the barriers to information access for his user group. In Turkey, in recent years, it has been observed that the Departments of Information and Documentation Management, National Library and university libraries are also successfully involved in this special service.

Radon is the major part of the natural indoor radioactivity. It is important to determine the indoor radon concentration for calculating the exposed radiation doses due to radon inhalation. In this study, the radon concentrations were measured in 2008 summer term at Zonguldak Karaelmas University Central Library by using CR-39 passive nuclear track detectors which were located on 12 different points in the library. It was found that, the average radon concentration on the Central Library was 67.1 Bq/m3. It was recorded that a radon concentration value at the new study room on the ground-floor was higher than 400 Bq/m3, TAEK's lower limit value for indoors. Libraries for Everyone is the most comprehensive project concerning municipal libraries in Turkey. The project aims to improve the quality of life among the Turkish society with a particular emphasis on the disadvantaged segments by turning municipal libraries into attraction centers where citizens get free access to hardware, software and training facilities that will enable them to benefit at the highest level from the possibilities of information and communication technologies. This study gives information about the Libraries for Everyone Project in general, examines the works carried out in our country for the municipal libraries and shares the findings of research carried out in the libraries under the project. The study was based on data obtained from 4317 municipal library users and was collected through face to face surveys applied in August and September 2016. Findings showed that, municipal library users are generally composed of young people and students that form a certain group of users who benefit from the library on a regular basis. Findings also revealed that among all age groups, younger users visit the libraries more often than the older ones. In addition, it is understood that users would be interested in training activities to be given in the municipal libraries in various topics (e.g., use of information and communication technologies, e- government applications). This research, which forms the baseline study of this project and other works to be carried out in the future, is expected to enable us to become more familiar with the geography of municipal libraries fed from different data sources. The purpose of this study is to examine the service quality perceptions of library users and to investigate rooms for improvement in service quality with respect to these perceptions. This research was conducted in Ankara and university libraries are selected as the sample group assuming that university students compose the majority of library users. The data was gathered from 533 volunteers through interviews and obtained data is classified as "favorable incidents" or "unfavorable incidents" with the use of Critical Incidents Technique and content analysis. Major factors affecting the service quality is identified by distributing the stated critical incidents into categories of SERVQUAL scale. The results show that, among the unfavorable critical incidents, "physical attributes" category is the most stated category for both types of university libraries.
