Çalışmada, ASEAN-5 (Endonezya, Malezya, Tayland, Filipinler, Singapur, Vietnam) ülkelerinde ekonomik büyüme, finansal gelişme ve gelir eşitsizliği ilişkisi 1992-2014 yılları arasındaki dönem için araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada yatay kesit bağımlılığını dikkate alan ikinci nesil testlerden faydalanılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda elde edilen bulgular ASEAN-5 ülkelerinde ekonomik büyümenin gelir eşitsizliği üzerinde pozitif etkili olduğunu ve finansal gelişmenin gelir eşitsizliği üzerindeki etkisinin istatistiki olarak anlamlı olmadığını göstermektedir. Buna karşılık ülkeler bazında elde edilen sonuçların farklı olduğu görülmektedir. Dumitrescu-Hurlin Nedensellik testi sonuçları incelendiğinde ise, ekonomik büyümeden gelir eşitsizliğine ve finansal gelişmeye tek yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi olduğu görülmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda ASEAN-5 ülkelerinin finansal yapılarının uluslararası standartlara uygun hale getirilmesi ve finansal kaynakların verimli kullanılacak alanlara yöneltilmesinin ekonomik büyüme üzerinde pozitif, gelir eşitsizliği üzerinde ise negatif etki sağlayabileceği değerlendirilmektedir., In the study, it is investigated the relationship between economic growth, financial development and income inequality in ASEAN-5 (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam) countries for the period between 1992-2014. It is utilized the second-generation tests, which takes into account the cross-sectional dependence. The findings of the analyzes show that economic growth has a positive effect on income inequality in ASEAN-5 countries and the effect of financial development on income inequality is not statistically significant. On the other hand, it is seen that the country specific results are different. According to the results of Dumitrescu-Hurlin causality, it is seen that there is a one-way causality relationship from economic growth to income inequality and financial development. In line with the results of analysis, it is evaluated that bringing the financial structures of ASEAN-5 countries in line with international standards and directing financial resources to areas to be used efficiently can have a positive effect on economic growth and a negative effect on income inequality.

Amaç: Bu araştırma, İstanbul Eyüp Dilbade Özel Eğitim ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezine başvuran, 4-16 yaş aralığında Serebral Palsi tanısı almış olan çocukların beslenme durumlarının büyüme ve gelişme üzerine etkisini saptamak için planlanmış ve yürütülmüştür. Materyal ve Metot:Anket yoluyla demografik bilgiler, sağlık, beslenme ve fiziksel olarak başkalarına bağımlılık durumu saptanmış, antropometrik ölçümler alınmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan 68 çocuğun %51.4' ünü (n=35) erkekler, %48.6' sını (n=33) kızlar oluşturmuştur. Çocukların %41.1' i KMFSS 1 seviyesinde olmasına karşın, %60.3' ü başkasına bağımlıdır. Beslenme sorunu olarak her yaş grubu ve cinsiyette en fazla kabızlık (%89.7) görülmektedir. Çocukların besin tüketimleri incelendiğinde; yağ ve niasin alımlarının fazla, enerjinin makro besin ögelerinden sağlanan oranlarının dengesiz olduğu görülmüştür. Malnütrisyon göstergeleri olarak; az sayıda çocuğun boy uzunluğu (%26.5), vücut ağırlığı (19.1), BKİ (%23.5), TDKK (%7.3), SDKK (%22.1), ÜOKÇ (%4.4) persentil değerleri, düşük olarak kabul edilen ≤3. persentilin altında bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Araştırmaya katılan çocukların beslenmeleri yeterli ancak dengesiz bulunmuş, malnütrisyon ve obezite oranının düşük olduğu belirlenmiş, bölgesel yağlanma dikkat çekmiş ve diyetisyen desteğine ihtiyaçları olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Objective: This research is not planned and necessary to determine the growth and development of nutritional conditions that are diagnosed as Cerebral Palsi between the ages of 4-16, in Istanbul Eyüp Dilbade Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. Material and Method: Demographic information, health, nutrition and physical dependency to others, anthropometric measurements via survey. Results: %68 of the study biological 51.4% (n = 35) were boys, 48.6% (n = 33) were girls. %41.1 of children are among the KMFSS 1 countries and %60.3 are dependent on someone else. As a nutritional problem, the most constipation (%89.7) in every age group and gender is when the food consumption of children is examined; The observation of food consumption of children shows that the intake of fat and niacin was high, the energy was immoderate among macronutrients. Malnutrition indicators are a small number of biological lengths (%26.5), body weight (%19.1), BMI (%23.5), TDKK (%7.3), SDKK (%22.1), UOCC (%4.4) percentile working, considered lower than ≤ 3. It is below the percentile. Conclusion: According to the research, the results were found to be adequate but unbalanced, the rate of malnutrition and obesity was low cost, regional fat-free and dietician support is necesary.

Amaç: Bu çalışma, bitki gelişimini teşvik eden farklı kök bakterisi ve mikoriza uygulamalarının kesme çiçek ve dış mekân süs bitkisi olarak dünya genelinde üretimi yaygın olan ve Türkiye’de de gittikçe yaygınlaşan Dahlia variabilis (Yıldız çiçeği) bitkisinde tohumdan fideye kadar geçen aşamada, büyüme ve gelişimine etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem ve Bulgular: Çalışma kapsamında, Dahlia variabilis ‘Violet’ çeşidine ait tohumlara, Enterobacter cloacae (ZE-2), Bacillus cereus (ZE-7), Pseudomonas putida (ZE-12), Acinetobacter calcoaceticus (ZE-13), Burkholderia cepecia (7-a-2) bakteri türleri ve ticari olarak satışı bulunan mikoriza (5000 ppm) uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada, uygulamaların fide büyüme ve gelişimine etkilerini belirlemek için; çimlenme oranı (%), fide boyu (cm), gövde çapı (mm), yaprak sayısı (adet), bitki yaş ağırlığı (g), bitki kuru ağırlığı (g), kök uzunluğu (cm), kök yaş ağırlığı (g), kök kuru ağırlığı (g) ve SPAD değeri ile klorofil içeriği ölçülmüştür. Çalışma sonunda, yapılan uygulamaların Yıldız çiçeği üzerinde farklı etkilere sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Pseudomonas putida (ZE-12) uygulamasının kontrole kıyasla %12 oranında çimlenmeyi artırdığı, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus (ZE-13) bakterisinin fide boyunda %32.9’luk artış sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Genel Yorum: Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma ile doğal kökenli olan ve çevreye zararı olmayan bu bakterilerin süs bitkilerinde fide yetiştiriciliğinde kullanılabilme potansiyeline sahip olduğu belirlenmiş olup, süs bitkileri üretim sektöründe bu uygulamaların kullanımının yaygınlaştırılması önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmanın Önemi ve Etkisi: Dahlia bitkisi, Dünya’da tanınmasına rağmen Türkiye’de bu konuda pek fazla bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Ayrıca Dahlia bitkisinin tohumdan fide aşamasına kadar geçen sürede, daha kaliteli fideler elde etmek için yeni izole edilen bakteri türlerinin kullanımı da oldukça sınırlıdır. Bu çalışma ile sürdürülebilir yöntemler arasında yer alan bakteri ve mikoriza uygulamaları ile fide kalitesini iyileştirmek önem arz etmektedir., Aims: This study was carried out to determine the effects of different plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria and mycorrhizae on the growth and development from seed to seedling of Dahlia variabilis (starflower) plant, which is widely produced in the world as a cut flower and outdoor ornamental plant, and which is becoming increasingly widespread in Turkey.Methods and Results: Within the scope of the study, Enterobacter cloacae (ZE-2), Bacillus cereus (ZE-7), Pseudomonas putida (ZE-12), Acinetobacter calcoaceticus (ZE-13), Burkholderia cepecia (7-a-2) bacterial species and commercially available mycorrhiza (5000 ppm) were applied to seeds of D. variabilis cultivar 'Violet'. In order to determine the effects of applications on seedling growth and development; germination rate (%), seedling height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of leaves (piece), plant fresh weight (g), plant dry weight (g), root length (cm), root fresh weight (g), root dry weight (g) and SPAD value and chlorophyll content were measured. At the end of the study, it was determined that the applications had different effects on D. variabilis. It was determined that P. putida (ZE-12) application increased germination by 12% compared to the control, and A. calcoaceticus (ZE-13) increased the seedling height by 32.9%.Conclusions: In conclusion, with this study, it was determined that these bacteria, which are of natural origin and do not harm the environment, have the potential to be used in seedling cultivation in ornamental plants, and it is important to expand the use of these applications in the ornamental plant’s production sector.Significance and Impact of the Study: Although the Dahlia plant is known in the world, there is not much information on this subject in Turkey. In addition, the use of newly isolated bacterial species in order to obtain higher quality seedlings during the period from seed to seedling stage of the Dahlia plant is also very limited. Improvement of the quality of seedlings with the use of bacteria and mycorrhizae, which are among the sustainable methods, is considered to be important.

Bu çalışmanın amacı 0-12 aylık yaşta farklı büyüme ve gelişme dönemindeki sığırların bazı vücut ölçümlerinden canlı ağırlık tahmininde kullanılan veri madenciliği algoritmalarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Çalışmada 24 baş dişi ve 18 baş erkek olmak üzere toplamda 42 baş sığıra ait kimi vücut ölçülerinden göğüs çevresi (GÇ), göğüs derinliği (GD), vücut uzunluğu (VU), cidago yüksekliği (CY), sağrı yüksekliği (SY) ile cinsiyet ve yaş özelliği bağımsız değişken, canlı ağırlık ise bağımlı değişken olarak ele alınmıştır. Vücut ölçülerinden canlı ağırlığının tahmin edilmesinde ise veri madenciliği algoritmalarından Çoklu Doğrusal Regresyon (MLR), Rastgele Orman (RF), Karar Ağacı (DT) ve En Yakın Komşu (kNN) algoritmaları çapraz doğrulama (cross-validation) 5 alınarak kullanılmıştır. Bitki gelişiminde etkili çevreselkoşullar arasında yer alan ve yıllarca bitkiler üzerindeki etkisi araştırılanelektromanyetik alanın bitki gelişiminde etkili olduğu öngörülmektedir. Zenginbir içeriğe sahip olan alo evera bitkisi sağlık, kozmetik, gıda alanında yaygınbir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Aloe vera’nın etkilerinin fazlalığından dolayıönemi giderek artmaktadır. Bu öngörüden yola çıkarak çalışma elektromanyetikalanın Aloe vera bitkisi üzerindeki etkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Nicel araştırmayöntemleri arasında yer alan deneysel yöntemle yapılan bu çalışmada5 deney grubu 5 kontrol grubuolmak üzere 10 farklı saksıda yetiştirilen Aloe vera bitkisi kullanılmıştır. Bitkilerdekibüyüme ve yeşil yaprak boylarındaki gelişimleri 36 gün boyunca gözlemlenmiş veölçümler yapılarak boy uzunlukları 7 gün ara ile not edilmiştir. Verilerinanalizinde elektromanyetik alanın etkisini belirlemek ve mevcut durumu ortayakoymak amacıyla bitki yeşil yaprak boyları, kök uzunlukları, kütle ve proteinmiktarları ölçülüp kaydedilmiştir. With this estimation, the study was done inorder to explore the effect of electromagnetic field upon Aloe Vera plant. Ofquantitative study methods, experimental method was used and 10 Aloe Vera plants,grown in different pots, were used and 5 experimental groups and 5 control groupswere composed. Growth of the plant and growth of green leaves were observed for36 days and length of leaves was measured every seven days. To determine the effectof electromagnetic field and to demonstrate the existing situation; lengths ofgreen leaves, root lengths, mass and protein amounts of the plants were measuredand written down. The data obtained from the study were processed and analyzed viaMicrosoft Office Excel 2010 program. As a result of the analyses, it was exploredthat electromagnetic field had significant effects upon growth and developmentof Aloe Vera plant. The plants growing in electromagnetic field grew faster andhad better roots than the experimental group in terms of early growth.

Kurşun, ağır metaller arasında oldukça toksik bileşiklerden biridir, organizmalar ve ekosistemler üzerinde ciddi problemlere yol açarlar. Bu çalışmanın amacı kurşunun adli açıdan önemli bir sinek olan musca domestica 'nın (diptera: muscidae) bazı gelişimsel parametreleri üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Mevcut çalışmada 30 adet musca domestica larvası dört farklı kurşun konsantrasyonuna maruz bırakılmış besi yeri üzerinde yetiştirilmiştir. Bu deney 2020 yılında ondokuz mayıs üniversitesi zooloji bölümü'nde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gelişme hızı, pupa ve larva ölüm oranı, yetişkin, ve pupa ağırlığı kaydedilen parametrelerdir. Yaşam öyküsü parametrelerini karşılaştırmak için tek yönlü bir anova kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlarımız kurşun varlığının pupa ve larva sağkalımını, pupa, ve yetişkin ağırlığını azalttığını göstermiştir. Larval gelişim hızı pb ilavesi olan diyette azalmış, fakat pupal gelişim süresi uzamıştır. Musca domestica'nın yaşam öyküsü parametrelerinin kurşuna duyarlı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır., Lead is one of the highly toxic compounds among the heavy metals and lead to serious problems on the organisms and ecosystems. The aim of present study was to investigate the lead impacts on some developmental parameters of forensically important fly, Musca domestica (Diptera: Muscidae). About 30 larvae of Musca domestica reared on diet that were exposed to four different concentrations of lead in present study, This experiment was carried out at the Zoology Department, University of Ondokuz Mayıs in 2020. Larvae of development rate, pupal and larval mortality, adult, and pupal weight were the recorded parameters. A one way ANOVA was used to compare life history parameters. Our results demostrated that lead decreased pupal and larval survival, and pupal, and adult weight. Larval development rate was decreased but pupal development rate was increased in Pb added diet. We concluded that life-history parameters of Musca domestica are sensitive to lead.

They've been considered a new class of plant growth regulators because they play critical roles in a variety of growth, developmental and physiological processes such as cell division and differentiation, protein synthesis, DNA replication, gene expression, somatic embryogenesis, dormancy breaking in seed germination, flower and fruit development, senescence, and enhancing stress tolerance. Although polyamines are known to be involved in various plant processes, their precise role remains unclear. This review includes current research on polyamine metabolism and function, metabolic mechanisms involved in polyamine formation and degradation, genetic and molecular approaches in plants, as well as studies using metabolic inhibitors to better understand the roles of polyamines. Polyamines and their modifications in transgenics are explored from a molecular perspective, and significant variations in polyamine titers in response to other plant regulators and stress factors are also discussed.

İnovasyon mikro ve makro iktisatta tarih boyunca önem arz eden bir kavram olmuştur. Gelişmekte olan ülkeler küresel piyasada rekabet avantajı elde edebilmek, daha yüksek bir refah seviyesine ulaşabilmek ve sürdürülebilir bir büyüme performansı yakalayabilmek için inovasyona yönelmektedirler. İnovasyonun en önemli göstergelerinden biri ise araştırma ve geliştirme (Ar-Ge) faaliyetleri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bununla birlikte gelişmekte olan ülkelerin Ar-Ge faaliyetleri açısından halen gelişmiş ülkelerin gerisinde kaldıkları söylenebilir. Söz konusu ülkelerde inovasyonun ekonomik büyüme ve kalkınma sürecinde oynadığı rolün ortaya konulması ve inovasyon sürecini destekleyici politikaların uygulanması önem arz etmektedir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın amacı, inovasyonun sürdürülebilir büyüme ve kalkınma üzerindeki etkisini üst orta ve alt orta gelir grubunda bulunan 30 gelişmekte olan ülke için araştırmaktır. Panel veri analizi yönteminin kullanıldığı çalışmada, 1995-2018 dönemi verileri kullanılmış olup veriler Dünya Bankasından elde edilmiştir. One of the most important indicators of innovation is considered as research and development (R&D) activities. However, it can be said that developing countries still lag behind developed countries in terms of R&D activities. It is important to reveal the role of innovation in the economic growth and development process in these countries and to implement policies that support the innovation process. In this direction, the aim of the study is to investigate the impact of innovation on sustainable growth and development. The study covers 30 countries in the upper middle and lower middle income groups. In the study, in which panel data analysis method was used, data for the period 1995-2018 were used and the data were obtained from the World Bank. According to the findings obtained, R&D expenditures affect the economic growth positively.

Travma sonrasıbüyüme, son derece zorlu yaşam krizleriyle mücadelenin sonucu olarak ortayaçıkan olumlu değişim deneyimidir. Travmanın akabinde hayatta kalan kişidegözlemlenen büyüme ve gelişim tek bir alanda olmayıp, birçok farklı alandakideğişimler ile kendini göstermektedir. Bu olumlu değişim; yaşamın daha fazla kıymetininbilinmesi, daha anlamlı kişilerarası ilişkiler, artan kişisel güç duygusu,değişen öncelikler ve daha zengin varoluşsal ve manevi hayat da dâhil olmaküzere çeşitli şekillerde ortaya çıkabilmektedir. Travma sonrası büyüme terimiliteratürde yeni olmasına rağmen, büyük iyiliğin büyük çileden gelebileceği fikriçok eski dönemlere dayanmaktadır. Travma sonrası büyüme ve gelişim konusunda sondönemlerde yapılan çalışmalar bu olgunun sistematik çalışılmasından ibarettir.Bu çalışma da travma sonrası büyüme konusunun daha iyi anlaşılmasına yönelikalanda yapılan çalışmalardan bir tanesidir. Observed growth anddevelopment in the trauma survivor is not limited by a single area, but changes mightappear in many different areas. These positive changes can be revealed in differentaspects including knowledge of the greater value of life, more meaningful interpersonalrelationships, increased sense of personal power, changing priorities, and richerexistential and spiritual life. Although the term post-traumatic growth is new in theliterature, the idea that great benevolence can be a great ordeal is based on very ancienttimes of history. Recent studies on post-traumatic growth and development consist ofthe systematic study of this phenomenon. This study is one of the studies conducted inthe field for a better understanding of post-traumatic growth. For this purpose, thephenomen of posttraumatic growth and development was evaluated and developmentareas after traumatic experience and the factors affecting these areas were explained.

Amaç: Dünya Sağlık Örgütü doğumdan itibaren 6 ay sadece anne sütü (AS) ile beslenmeyi önermektedir. Çalışmamızda, 0-36 ay arası anne sütü alan çocukların anne sütü alma sürelerini, tamamlayıcı gıdalara başlama zamanı, büyüme-gelişmelerini ve bunları etkileyen faktörleri değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Gereç ve yöntem: Olguların antropometrik ölçümleri yapıldı. Verileri anket yoluyla ve yüz yüze görüşülerek elde edildi. Bulgular: Anne sütü alma süresi 1 ile 25 ay arasında değişmekte olup ortalama 9,31 ± 5,66 ay saptandı. Sadece anne sütü alma süresi 1 hafta ile 10 ay arasında değişmekte olup ortalama 4,67 ± 1,91 ay saptandı. 25. persentil altında olan olgularda anne sütü alma süresi, 50. persentil üzerindeki çocuklardan anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olarak saptandı (p:0,033; p>0,05). Boy persentillerine göre anne sütü alma süreleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmadı (p>0,05). Sonuç: Çalışmamızda, anne sütü ile beslenen bebeklerin, formula ile beslenen bebeklere göre kiloları daha düşük saptanmasına rağmen boyları etkilenmemektedir. Anne sütü alma sürelerinin uzun olmasına rağmen olumlu etkilerinin görülmemesi, ailelerin bebeklerini anne sütü ile beslerken hatalı uygulamalarda bulunduklarını düşündürmektedir. Bu nedenle doğum öncesi ve sonrasında annelerin emzirme konusunda bilgilendirilmeleri gerektiğini vurgulamak istedik., Objectives: World Health Organization recommends exclusive breastfeeding for first six months. The aim of this study was to evaluate the duration of breast-feeding, time of starting complementary foods, growth and development of infants aged 0-36 months and the factors affected them. Materials and methods: The anthropometric measures of infants performed. The data were obtained through a questionnaire and face to face interviews. Results: Duration of breastfeeding was between 1and 25 months (mean 9, 31±5, 66); duration of exclusive breastfeeding was between 1 week and 10 months (mean 4, 67±1, 91 months). Duration of breastfeeding in infants at the 25th percentile was statistically significant higher than infants at 50 th percentile (p: 0,033; p>0, 05) There was no statistically significant difference between the duration of breast-feeding according to height percentiles. (p>0, 05) Conclusions: In our study, although the breast-fed infants have lower weights than infants fed with formula, their heights were not affected. In spite of the long duration of brest-feeding, positive affects have not been detected. It is thought that the mothers have importance of giving information about breastfeeding to mothers before and after birth.

Araştırma Van ilinin Edremit, İpekyolu ve Tuşba ilçelerinde bulunan sekiz anaokuluna devam eden okul öncesi dönemdeki çocukların beslenme alışkanlıklarını ve beslenmenin büyüme-gelişmeleri üzerindeki etkisini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı ve metodolojik bir tasarım olarak gerçekleştirildi.Araştırmanın evrenini Van'a bağlı Edremit, Tuşba ve İpekyolu merkez ilçelerinde yer alan anaokullarındaki toplam 202 anasınıfında eğitim gören 4705 çocuk, örneklemini ise 335 çocuk oluşturdu. Veriler; Bilgi Formu, literatür doğrultusunda geliştirilen Beslenme Değerlendirme Anketi (BDA), Ankara Gelişim Tarama Envanteri (AGTE), Beden Kitle İndeksi Persentili (BKİ), boy ve kilo ölçümleri için dijital tartı ve antropometri aleti ile elde edildi. Elde edilen veriler yüzdelik dağılım, ortalama, Person ki-kare, Bağımsız gruplarda t testi, Kruskal Wallis testi, Bağımsız gruplarda tek yönlü varyans, Çoklu regresyon ile analiz edildi.Araştırma sonucunda çocukların yaş ortalamasının 5,26±,45 yıl, erkek çocukların kız çocuklara göre daha fazla ve çocukların büyük bir oranla tam aşılı olduğu belirlendi. The purpose of the present study was to determine the live weight development phases from hatchling to adolescent bird of Japanese quails bred in Kyrgyzstan, and to determine the age-related changes in body measurements. Adolescent birds were found to have a body length (distance between first vertebra thoracalis to end of sacrum) coefficient of 3.0, a sternum front to rear end length coefficient of 3.3, a tibia length of 2.34, and a pelvic width (distance between right and left acetabulum) coefficient of 1.58. This indicates good development of the quails' pectoral muscles and relative underdevelopment of their leg muscles. The main development phases were found to be between day 1 and 14 and again between day 35 and 42. During these phases, Japanese quails are very sensitive to external influences and require particular attention in their care. Based on findings and variation coefficients it was established that development is lowest during the first 7 days (10.21%-8.78%) and highest after day 7 up to day 49 (10.47%-25.06%) with growth returning to lower rates in the following phase. Quail chicks reach adolescence after 45 to 56 days with their body weight attaining 75% of the weight of full grown birds. This study was carried out in 2008 in the laboratory of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology of the Veterinary Faculty of the State University of Kyrgyzstan.

Bu çalışma, 6.sınıf Fen Bilimleri dersi ‘Bitki ve Hayvanlarda Üreme, Büyüme ve Gelişme’ ünitesi kazanımları dahilinde hazırlanan akademik başarı testinin geçerliliği ve güvenirliğinin ispatlanması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Test, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı Fen Bilimleri Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda tanımlanan kazanımlara uygun bir şekilde hazırlanmıştır. Aynı zamanda testteki soruların kazanımlara göre dağılımının homojen olmasına dikkat edilmiştir. İçerik geçerliliği 2’si doktora, 1’i yüksek lisans öğrencisi ve 1’i lisans mezunu olan 4 fen bilgisi öğretmeni ile 1 ölçme değerlendirme uzmanı ve 1 alan uzmanı tarafından incelenmiştir. 40 maddeden oluşan testin yazım ve imla kuralları bakımından incelemesini 1 Türkçe öğretmeni yapmıştır. Gerekli düzeltmeler yapıldıktan sonra son şeklini alan başarı testi 170 ortaokul öğrencisine uygulanarak gereken analizler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda testten her hangi bir madde atılmasına gerek kalmamıştır. Tüm yapılan analizler sonucunda geliştirilen başarı testinin kabul edilebilir psikometrik özelliklere sahip olduğu ve geçerliliğinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür., This study has been conducted to prove the validity and reliability of the academic achievement test prepared within the achievements of the 6th grade Science lesson 'Reproduction, Growth and Development In Plants and Animals' unit. The test has been prepared in accordance with the outcomes defined in the Science Education Curriculum of the Ministry of National Education, Education and Training Board. At the same time, it has been attached importance to the homogeneity of the distribution of the questions in the test according to the outcomes. Content validity has been examined by four science teachers, two of them are doctoral students, one is graduate student and the other is undergraduate student, and one assessment and evaluation expert and one subject matter expert. One Turkish teacher has made the examination of the test consisting of 40 items in terms of writing and marking rules. Achievement test has taken its shape after the final corrections and necessary analyses have been made by applying it to 170 elementary students. This study aimed to identify grade 6 students’ feelings, problems and views of the topic“Human Reproduction, Growth and Development”. Within a survey research methodology, aquestionnaire was used to collect data. To ensure reliability and validity of the questionnaire,it was pilot-tested with 103 seventh grade students in Eleşkirt district of Ağrı, Turkey in the 2014-2015 academic year. Hence, the questionnaire was revised and included with seven items.Thereby, the questionnaire was administered to 78 sixth grade students in the spring semester of2014-2015 academic year. The results showed that 93% of females and 91% of males preferredlearning the topic “Human Reproduction, Growth and Development” from a fellow teacher.Also, they explained their preference with an uncomfortable feeling with an opposite-genderteacher. Furthermore, female students had more unveiled questions they felt uncomfortable, ascompared to male ones. Most of the students found the topic useful to be learned. Some of thequestions, students were too shy to ask, were as follows: How do girls have periods? How dowomen get pregnant? Tuzluluk, dünyamızda verimli tarımı tehlikeye sokarak besin ürünlerinin üretimini önemli düzeyde kısıtlayan çevresel stres faktörlerinden birisidir. Dünya yüzeyinde bulunan alanların yaklaşık % 6'sı tuzluluk sorunu ile karşı karşıyadır. Ülkemizde yaklaşık 1,5 milyon hektar alanda tuzluluk ve alkalilik sorunu bulunmaktadır. Halofit bitkiler tuzlu topraklarda veya tuzlu sulama suyu kullanıldığında bile büyüme ve gelişme potansiyeline sahiptirler. Tuzlu topraklarda ekonomik tarım için, tuzlu alanlarda yetişebilen bitkilerin ürün desenlerine alınmaları, üreticiye ve ülkemize ekonomik yönden büyük yarar sağlayacaktır. Deniz börülcesi halofit olarak bilinen ve yüksek tuz koşullarında yaşayabilen bitkilerdendir. Bu çalışmanın amacı farklı kum-perlit karışım oranının ve tuz seviyesinin deniz börülcesinin büyüme ve gelişmesi üzerine etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma için 5 farklı kum-perlit karışım oranları (% 0, 25, 50, 75, 100) ve 4 farklı tuz (NaCl) seviyesi (0-200-400-600 mM) kullanılmıştır. Yaş ağırlıkları, gövde (sürgün) boyu, gövde çapı, nod uzunluğu, yan sürgün sayısı, kök uzunluğu belirlenerek, elde edilen verilerin varyans analizleri (ANOVA) üç tekerrürlü tesadüf parselleri deneme desenine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları Sarcocornia perennis'in 600 mM tuz seviyesine kadar dayanıklı olduğunu, fakat 200 mM tuz seviyesinde optimum büyüme gösterdiğini ortaya koymuştur. 200 mM NaCl ve %100 perlit içeren yetiştirme ortamında S. perennis bitkisine ait en yüksek yaş ağırlıkları, gövde (sürgün) boyu, gövde çapı, nod uzunluğu, yan sürgün sayısı, kök uzunluğu değerleri elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere göre, deniz börülcesi tarımında deniz suyunun, sulama suyu olarak kullanılabileceği ortaya çıkmıştır., Salinity is one of the environmental stress factors that significantly limits the production of food products by endangering world' productive agriculture. Approximately 6% of the surface area of the world is faced with problems of soil salinity. Turkey has salinity and alkalinity problems in nearly 1.5 million hectares of its lands. The halophyte plants have the potential for growth and development even if the salty soil and salty irrigation water are used. For economic farming in saline soil, the production of plants grown in salty areas will provide high benefit to the producers and the economy of our country. Samphire is known as a halophyte plant that can survive in high salinity conditions. The main objective of this study sand-perlite mixture ratio and the salt level is to determine the impact on the growth and development of Sarcocornia. On different rate sand-perlite (0%, 25, 50, 75, 100) and four different salts (NaCl) level (0-200-400-600 mM) taken to experiment in the culture room. Fresh weight, stem height, stem diameter, nods length, number of lateral branches and root length were determined as a growth parameter in the plant. The data were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA) using factorial randomized complete plots designed with three replications. The research results revealed that tolerated salinity up to 600 mM NaCl; but the optimum growth was at 200mM NaCl. At 200 mM NaCl and 100% perlite growth medium, S. perennis plants were recorded the highest fresh weight (g/plant), the highest stem height, highest stem diameter, the tallest node, the highest number of lateral branches, and the tallest root. According to the data obtained, in the samphire cultivation has appeared that seawater can be used as irrigation water.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of activities based on "Prediction-Observation-Explanation" (POE) strategy on pre-service science teachers' conceptual achievements and attitudes toward science teaching. In this study, working group consisted of 74 second class pre-service science teachers' at Pamukkale University, Turkey. The research was conducted in fall semester of 2008-2009 academic year. In the study, control and experimental group design was used. Pre-test and post-test was administered at the beginning and end of the study. Experimental group (N=40) was instructed with POE strategy, while control group (N=34) received traditionally designed instruction. POE strategy based activities were applied on experimental group and traditional teaching was used on control group. Following instruments were used for data collection from the students: conceptual achievement test and attitude towards science teaching test. Quantitative data's were analyzed by using independent t test for testing the hypotheses of study. Results of the analyses showed that the effect of activities based on POE strategy on pre-service science teachers' conceptual achievements and attitudes toward science teaching was not significant. Furthermore, science teacher candidates reported that POE strategy was more effective than previously used methods, student-centered, referred to comment and to think, provided permanent learning, would be useful to practice in science courses and they would like to use this method when they became a science teacher.

Hedeflerin içerdiği temel konular ise yoksulluk ve açlığın giderilmesi, herkes için temel eğitimin temini, toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğinin sağlanması ve kadının sosyal ve ekonomik anlamda güçlendirilmesi, çocuk ölümlerinin azaltılması, anne sağlığının iyileştirilmesi, HIV/AIDS, sıtma ve diğer salgın hastalıklarla mücadele, çevresel sürdürülebilirliğin sağlanması ve kalkınma için küresel ortaklığın geliştirilmesidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 1970li yılların sonunda piyasa ekonomisine işlerlik kazandırmaya yönelik girişimlerde bulunan ve özellikle 2001 yılında Dünya Ticaret Örgütü’ne üyeliğini tamamladıktan sonra dünya ticaretinde söz sahibi olmaya başlayan Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’nin nasıl bir büyüme stratejisi izlediğinin ve BKH doğrultusunda nasıl bir gelişme sergilediğinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Eradicating poverty and hunger, basic education for all individuals, ensuring gender equality, social and economic empowerment of women, reducing child mortality, improving maternal health, combating HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, ensuring environmental sustainability and establishing global partnerships for development are the main subjects of these targets. The aim of this study is to demonstrate what kind of growth strategy applied and to exhibit improvements carried out in accordance with the MDG in Republic of China which attempts to operationalize market economy at the end of the 1970s and begins to become effective in world trade especially after completing his membership of World Trade Organization in 2001. In this context, we will initially try to explain the factors that led to the economic rise of China in the historical process within the scope of the literature. Then progresses in poverty, education, health, environment and gender equality issues will be discussed by comparison with Eurozone, OECD and the World in general in the light of the World Bank data. In the light of the comparison, one can conclude that China is very successful in achieving the 8 targets set under MDG. A number of factors played an important role in this success. For example, the reforms carried out for the transition to a market economy are not standard regulations imposed by international institutions. Instead, the reformation process is conceived in such a manner that it will meet the needs of the economy through development plans. Moreover, in addition to trade incomes, high rates of households and firms’ savings and saving half of the national income are another growth factors vital for reaching the development goals.

Kalkınma ve büyüme kavramları, ekonomi bilimine aidiyetinin yanı sıra diğer bilim alanları için de önem taşıyan, doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak tüm alanlardaki bilimsel faaliyetleri etkileyen olguları işaret etmek üzere kullanılır. Özellikle kalkınma olgusu üzerine, ekonomi bilimi başta olmakla beraber, sosyal bilimlerin hemen tüm alanlarında çalışmalar yapılmakta ve araştırmalar yürütülmektedir.

Objective: This cross-sectional study was carried out to assess the growth and development of twelve-month infants in the city of Malatya and the relationship of this to mothers' knowledge of growth and development. Methods: Healthy infants (260) born in March 1997 and living in the city of Malatya were included to the study. Data were collected from mothers during March 1998 by researchers' trained assistants using questionnaires as well as by measurement of growth. Data were analyzed by rates and chi-square. Results: With respect to weight, 3% of the girls were under the 3% percentile while 0.7% of the boys were under the 3% percentile. Length measurements indicated that 1.5% of the girls were under the 3 percentile and 1.6% of them were under the 3% percentile. Mothers who were informed about baby growth and development were compared to those who were not. This study was conducted to investigate the phytoremediation potential of Inula helenium, Physalis angulata andVerbascum thapsus species which are grown on nickel (Ni), cadmium (Cd) and copper (Cu) polluted soils under controlledconditions for 6 weeks. The chlorophyll levels, biomass production, heavy metal uptake and concentrations and reducedglutathione concentrations were determined. According to the level of Ni, Cd, and Cu in the test plants did not reach to toxiclevels. Results showed that Physalis angulata had the highest Ni content 253 µg plant-1 with the 400 mg Ni kg-1 application,the highest Cd was obtained from Physalis angulata (46.9 µg plant-1) and Verbascum thapsus (54.6 µg plant-1) with 10 mgCd kg-1 application and Physalis angulata had the highest 304 µg Cu with the 200 mg Cu kg-1 application. It can beconcluded that Physalis angulata and Verbascum thapsus have potential to clean-up Ni, Cu and Cd polluted soils., Bu çalışmada; nikel (Ni), kadmiyum (Cd) ve bakır (Cu) ile kirlenmiş topraklarda andız otu (Inula helenium), fener otu (Physalis angulata) ve sığırkuyruğu (Verbascum thapsus) bitkileri 6 hafta boyunca kontrollü koşullarda yetiştirilerek, bu metallerin topraklardan temizlenebilme olanakları araştırılmıştır. Denemede bitkilerin klorofil düzeyleri, biyokütle üretimi, ağır metal alımı ve indirgenmiş glutatyon (GSH) konsantrasyonları belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, bitkilerin dokularında biriktirdiği Ni, Cd ve Cu konsantrasyonlarının toksisiteye neden olacak seviyelere ulaşmadığı tespit edilmiştir. En yüksek Ni içeriği (253 μg bitki-1) fener otu bitkisinin 400 mg Ni kg-1 uygulamasından, en yüksek Cd içeriği ise fener otu (46.9 μg bitki-1) ve sığırkuyruğu (54.6 μg bitki-1) bitkilerinde 10 mg Cd kg-1 uygulamasından ve en yüksek Cu konsantrasyonu ise fener otu (304 μg bitki-1) bitkisinin 200 mg Cu kg-1 uygulamasından elde edilmiştir. Deneme sonucunda fener otu ve sığırkuyruğu bitkilerinin ağır metallerle kirlenmiş toprakların temizlenmesinde kullanma potansiyellerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Kalkınma; çok yönlü çaba gerektiren uzun dönemli ve merkezinde insanın yer aldığı bir süreç olarak ifade edilmektedir. Dünya ülkelerinin mevcut yapısı göz önüne alınarak, uluslararası kuruluşlar tarafından ülkeler, az gelişmiş, gelişmekte olan ve gelişmiş ülkeler şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır. Tanımlamalar sonucunda ortaya çıkan farklılıklar doğrultusunda temel amaç, az gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkeler için kalkınma, gelişmiş ülkeler için ise kalkınmanın sürdürülebilir kılınmasıdır. Bu nedenle ülkelerin ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel açıdan var olan eşitsiz gelişmişliklerinin incelenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada kalkınma kavramı, kalkınma kavramına yönelik modeller, ekonomik büyüme, düşük ve orta gelirli ülkelerin kalkınma değişkenleriyle ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişki panel eşbütünleşme testleri ile ortaya konulmuştur. Panel nedensellik analizi uygulanmış elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmada panel eşbütünleşme analiz sonuçlarına göre düşük gelirli ülkelerin, ithalat, ihracat, sanayi sektörü katma değeri, enflasyon oranı sağlık harcamaları ile telefon hattının ekonomik büyümeyi pozitif etkilediği, tarım sektörü katma değeri, sabit sermaye tüketimi, doğurganlık oranının ekonomik büyümeyi negatif etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Orta gelirli ülkelerde değişkenlerden, tarım sektörü katma değeri, enflasyon oranı, sabit sermaye tüketiminin, doğurganlık oranının ekonomik büyümeyi negatif etkilediği, ihracat, ithalat, tüketim harcaması, sanayi sektörü katma değeri, sağlık harcamaları ve telefon hattı değişkeninin ekonomik büyümeyi pozitif etkilediği belirlenmiştir., Development is expressed as a long termed process requiring the versatile effort, and in the center of which the human being takes place. Considering the existing structures of world countries, countries are defined by the international institutes as the developed, developing, and less developed. In the direction of distinctions emerging as a result of definitions, the main aim is development for the less developed and developing countries, while for the developed countries, development is made sustainable. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the inequality developedness degrees of countries that are existent from the economic, social, and cultural point of view.In this study, the concept of development, models toward the concept of development, economic growth, developmental variables of low and middle income countries, and relationship between economic growth and developmental variables were introduced via panel co-integration tests. Panel causality analysis was applied, and the results obtained were interpreted. According to the results of panel-co-integration analysis, it was concluded that the import, export, added value of industrial sector, inflation rate, health expenditures, and phone line of low income countries positively affected the growth, and that added value of agricultural sector, inflation rate, consumption of fixed asset, and fertility rate negatively affected it. In medium income countries, it was identified that among the variables, the added value of agricultural sector, inflation rate, and consumption of fixed asset, and fertility rate negatively affected the economic growth, and that the variables of import, export, consumption expenditure added value of industry sector, health expenditures, and phone line positively affected it.

The vegetative and reproductive performance of the ‘Deveci’ pear (Pyrus communis L.) grown on three rootstocks [Quince BA 29, EMC (Cydonia oblonga) and a seedling of P. communis] were compared between 2012 and 2013. Vegetative growth characteristics such as the rootstock and trunk diameter, leaf lamina width, leaf lamina length, leaf area, leaf petiole length and thickness, plant height and canopy volume were examined. Phenological characteristics such as the time of first flowering, full flowering, days from full flowering to maturity, harvest date and fruit weight and yield were also investigated. Phenological characteristics were seen in the EMC earlier than in the BA 29 or in the seedling. The most vigorous trees were on the BA 29 followed by the EMC and the seedling. The highest leaf lamina width, length, area and leaf petiole length were obtained from trees on the BA 29 rootstock followed by the EMC and seedling. EMC had a lower leaf petiole thickness than the others. The trees grafted on the BA 29 rootstock had a higher rootstock diameter, trunk diameter, plant height, and plant width and canopy volume than the others. The highest fruit weight and yield per tree were obtained from the trees on the BA 29 (405.7 g and 8.33 kg, respectively) and the EMC (157.6 g and 2.37 kg, respectively) followed by the seedling (62.6 g and 0.69 kg, respectively). As a result of this growing period, we suggest that the ‘Deveci’ pear should be grown on the BA 29 quince rootstock because of the more vigorous growth and the higher yield

Within the period 2011-2014 in the experimental field of the Agricultural University, Plovdiv, were conducted field experiments using the herbicides Teridox (500 g/1 dimetochor), Butizan S (500 g/1 metazachlor), which were applied to the soil after planting the crops and before their germination, and also Modaon 4F (48 g/1 bifenox) and Butizan S, which was applied to the leaves during the vegetation period of the rape. The experiments were made using the block method over an area of 25 m2 in three repetitions. It has been established that the herbicides demonstrate excellent selectivity for this crop, and have excellent control: Amaranthus retroflexus L., Portulaca oleraceae L., Chenopodium album L., Solanum nigrum L., Setaria spp., Stellaria media L. and self seeded wheat plants. Herbicides dimethachlor, bifenox and metazachlor not have a negative impact on growth and phenological development of rapeseed hybrid Xenon. In the three years experienced plant height in the treated variants statistically proven to exceed zero control. Depending on weather conditions the vegetation period of plants occurs for 263 days (in 2012/2013) to 279 days (2011/2012)

This study was conducted to determine nut growth and development in Sebin, Bilecik, 32B-18 and 170 B-16 walnut cultivars in 1997-1998. In the study, nut length, nut diameter, nut weight with hull, kernel weight, protein content of shell, kernel and hull, oil content of shell, ash content of shell, ash content of kernel and ash content of hull were determined in the period of fruit growth. The increase in the kernel weight was slower at the beginning of the growth period, while it was rapid between June and August. There was also a rapid development in the nut diameter and nut length from May to July. An irregularity was observed in the variation of protein content of the hull, shell and kernel. The oil content of the kernel was increased rapidly between June and September. The increase in the oil content of the kernel was rapid during the nut growth period from June to September.
