The article describes the weather conditions of the autumn of 2023, highlighting the widespread storms that occurred on June 1st. It is mentioned that spring was warm and dry until mid-May, when a blocking anticyclone over Ireland caused the arrival of polar air to Europe. This resulted in the appearance of storms and unstable weather in much of southern Europe. It is emphasized that June 1st is a historic date on the Iberian Peninsula, recalling the F3 category tornado that occurred in 1999 in the province of Soria. Additionally, the synoptic situation is described and the centers of cyclonic vorticity that favor the mixing of polar and tropical masses in the wide deformation band that extends from the Iberian Peninsula to Anatolia are mentioned. We report a method for characterizing the electric transport through the intragranualar defects in two main directions of a superconducting sample. The main experimental data, the I-V curves, were taken on Bi-2223 samples at 90 K and low applied magnetic fields (Ha < 39:8 kA/m), and analyzed by using a flux flow model proposed by A. Gurevich. The model allows determining the lower and upper critical field of the large Josephson junctions due to the presence of planar defects inside the grains. The obtained results reveal certain anisotropy in the electric transport properties and an increase of the critical fields associated to currents through the planar defects with increasing compacting pressures. Lluís Torner has been appointed as a Full Member Academician of the Royal Academy of Sciences (RAC) in the Section of Physics and Chemistry. Torner is internationally recognized for his scientific contributions in the study of the properties and applications of optical solitons and photons, as well as light beams with vorticity. Additionally, Marisol Martín González has been appointed as a Corresponding Academician of the Physics and Chemistry Section of the RAC. Martín González is a research professor at the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology (IMN) of the CSIC, and her research focuses on devices for more efficient heat collection and management to produce clean energy. This paper analyzes the effect of different configurations of initial conditions for the optimization algorithm based on particle swarms with vorticity behavior. The proposed algorithm combines the gradient-based search and particle swarm behavior, thus, this algorithm can be affected by the initial conditions for the particles. The article provides information on the virtual workshops on warm conveyor belts including great influence on meandering jet currents, downstream development of Rossby waves and great impact of tropopause in Europe. Topics include diabatic processes in cyclonic systems, vorticity and clouds with mixed phases.

In this paper, temporal evolution of simple vortexes is treated. In order to obtain analytic solutions of velocity field, the analysis is restricted to an ideal gas. Furthermore the principal effects due to thermodynamics and mechanical factors on the vortex motion are shown, e.g. Coriolis force, especially at the case of bidimensional vortex. A relevant aspect of fluid dynamics is the generation conditions to yield vortices, This paper exposes a way to yield two-dimensional steady vortices into a gas subjected to several restrictions using heat sinks. The lineal behaviour of system is analyzed, and analytic solution for velocity field is found, additionally the effect of viscosity and the size of vortex are identified like important factors in the evolution toward the steady state of system.
