Everyday life is where our passions and interests are staged. This research analyzes how new information and communication technologies, especially smartphones and socio-digital networks, have transformed the socialization of football information in Uruguay and Argentina. With a socio-anthropological approach, football identity practices and processes are observed in online and inperson contexts, and changes in the production, circulation and appropriation of football information, as well as in the interaction between fans and players, are highlighted. Mental toughness is characterized by a collection of psychological resources that empower individuals to persevere in the presence of challenges, errors, and setbacks, allowing them to attain elevated levels of performance notwithstanding the inherent challenges in competitive scenarios. The aim of the present study was to delve into the current knowledge of the mental toughness construct and its relationship with intolerance to uncertainty in a sample of 121 male football players aged 18 to 40 years (M = 24.38, SD = 5.36), belonging to the top categories of Argentine soccer. A negative correlation was found between mental toughness and intolerance to uncertainty. Furthermore, it was observed that older and more experienced players exhibited higher levels of mental toughness and lower intolerance to uncertainty. Down syndrome is a chromosomal disorder characterized by below-average intellectual capacity with slow physical and psychomotor development. The objective of this study was to identify the implications of playing sports (football) on the gross motor skills compromised in adolescents with Down síndrome (SD). A qualitative approach was used, through a multiple case study methodology, with descriptive scope, the instrument applied was the semi-structured interview and direct observation, with a sample of eight participants with Down syndrome who attended a headquarters of the National Athletic Club. It was found that the gross motor skills compromised in adolescents with 'DS' were: balance, coordination and strength, flexibility and agility, spatial-temporal perception, as difficulties were observed in performing initial locomotion-type, manipulative and stable movements. It was concluded that it is important to have sports intervention programs for the population with 'DS' to overcome and compensate for the limitations present in their motor skills, and also to expand the knowledge of specialists in the different sports fields as an opportunity to promote motor development. from a pedagogical approach, in accordance with the special needs that are essential at an early age. The aim of this paper is to analyse a set of macrosintactic elements in the speech of the football players of two Spanish teams: Real Betis Balompié and Sevilla Fútbol Club, in order to determine how they speak about victories and defeats. To make it possible, the Pragmatics linguistics model of Fuentes Rodríguez is used as a analytical tool. The results show that argumentative operators are the most common elements of speech, specially intensifiers, as it occurs in the case of other argumentative markers. Moreover, modal operators, the second group in frequency, reveal that the football players prefer to mitigate their assertions. Finally, in the case of enunciative operators, despite their low frequency, those that characterize their speech as honest are used. We suggest that football players' speech are mostly persuasive, although they do not present their assertions as a doubtless, something that has to do with the polemic context of football as a mass entertainment. The game is understood as a complex phenomenon in which the player's action is characterized by its ethical nature, as it expresses subjectivity and aims for the good life (in the case of game, pleasure and victory). Thus, the ethical nature of the player's action is forged in a gaming environment where unpredictability, dynamics, and new organizations are present. Therefore, part of the player's role is to understand the environment in which they find themselves, that is, to understand how the organizations of the game are produced. Similarly, Albert Camus' concept of "absurdism", created by the French-Algerian philosopher, resembles this requirement to understand the environment in which one lives by exalting awareness. Consequently, according to Camus, the only possible movement after becoming aware of the absurdism is revolt, an action based on the expression of the individual, aiming for justice, collectivity and unity, within limits that must not be exceeded. Hence, the possibility of understanding the player as a man in revolt in the game, seeking, given the identification of the environment in which they find themselves, the success of their team through their actions. Within the sociocultural framework of sport, this research focuses on the androcentric hierarchy of mediated narratives in football. We explore the approach of these narratives from a gender and club level perspective. Specifically, we investigate the presence and role of female footballers in the discursive construction of professional clubs. To do so, we selected Athletic Bilbao as a case study, a pioneering club in the development of women's football in Spain. The methodology employed is based on content analysis of the covers of four Spanish newspapers (As, Mundo Deportivo, El Correo, and Deia) over three complete seasons (2018/19, 2019/20, and 2020/21). A total of 357 covers published between August 2018 and June 2021 were collected. These covers correspond to the days when both the women's and men's teams of Athletic Bilbao played their respective league, cup, and super cup matches, as well as the immediately following day, known as the post-match day. The results are presented as an interdependent relational system in terms of information selection and omission at three levels: sequential, normative, and positional. Significantly, this system highlights the need to examine the content dedicated to both women and men. In the particular case of Athletic Bilbao, the recorded information clearly demonstrates a sexist relationality based on the underrepresentation, exceptionalization, and marginalization of women's sports practices. These interpretations invite reflection on sports, particularly football, as a discursive field that reinforces the construction of narratives in which men are the social norm, the inevitable protagonists, while women are presented as social deviants, disposable antagonists.
