Dying subjects that resort to humor, whom we shall call "humorants", question themselves and especially us. How could they possibly allow themselves such an outrage at this precise moment of their existence? When they do so, it is through the particular and rather crude form of black humor. On the basis of Freud's and Lacan's contributions regarding the question of death and of the clinical exercise of palliative care, the article addresses the expression of a linguistic jouissance on the part of subjects who are on the way to that which will forever calm their drives - the place in which the joint influence of capitalist and scientific discourse make it possible to affirm the accidental nature of death in our modern world. In this sense, "humorants" seem to be responding to the anxious perplexity of many dying patients when confronted by the traumatic real.

RESUMEN El presente trabajo estudia un modo artístico de narrar un exilio sin tener que recurrir a palabras directas como violencia o crimen. Max Aub, exiliado español en México, publicó su revista personal Sala de Espera en tierras aztecas. En la sección "Zarzuela" recopiló una serie de relatos breves intitulados Crímenes, que más tarde, para su edición en formato de libro, denominó Crímenes ejemplares. Los microrrelatos son una serie de confesiones humorísticas sobre diversos tipos de asesinatos narrados por los "homicidas", de modo que parecen testimonios reales. A lo largo de las tres ediciones de este libro, en vida de Aub (1957, 1968 y 1972), el autor incorporó una serie de "pistas" en los paratextos con el objetivo de aludir a los fenómenos sociales de la época, sobre todo aquellos que se referían a la situación con el franquismo, la Guerra Fría -contexto histórico de la época del exilio de Aub en México- y los acontecimientos en México y París en 1968. Por ejemplo, este último guiño a los sucesos violentos de aquel verano del 68 es representado con una pintura que evoca a la banda francesa Bonnot, dedicada al robo de bancos para desestabilizar la economía de los más ricos. Esta es una muestra de cómo el escritor relacionó la ficción de los crímenes con acontecimientos reales, de tal manera que surge una suerte de dilución entre lo real y lo imaginario. ABSTRACT This work studies an artistic way of narrating an exile without having to resort to direct words such as violence or crime. Max Aub, a Spanish exile in Mexico, published his personal magazine Sala de Espera in Aztec lands. In the section called "Zarzuela," he compiled a series of short stories entitled Crímenes, which later, for its edition in book format, he called Crímenes ejemplares (or Exemplary Crimes). The short stories are a series of humorous confessions about various types of murders narrated by the "murderers," so that they seem real testimonies. Throughout the three editions of this book, during Aub's lifetime (1957, 1968 and 1972), the author incorporated a series of "clues" in the paratexts with the aim of referring to the social phenomena of the time, especially those related to the situation with the Franco regime, the Cold War -historical context of the time of Aub's exile in Mexico- and the events that would take place in Mexico and Paris in 1968. For example, this last nod to the violent events of that summer of 68 is represented with a painting that evokes the French gang Bonnot, dedicated to bank robberies to destabilize the economy of the richest. This is an example of how the writer related the fiction of the crimes to real events, in such a way that a kind of dilution between the real and the imaginary arises.

Gabriel Miró con «El Sepulturero» (1910) opta deliberadamente por una escritura que lo sitúa en la corriente del humorismo negro que pronto van a celebrar los mismos surrealistas. Le asigna a la Literatura una misión de ludismo, lo que, sin embargo, no le quita su poder de crítica sarcástica de lo coercitivo que resalta de la sociedad española de la época. With «El Sepulturero» (1910), Gabriel Miró deliberately chose a writing that places him in the current of black humor, that will soon be celebrating by the same surrealists. He assigns to Literature a mission of playfulness, which, however, does not take away the power to sarcastic criticism of the coercitive nature of Spanish society at the time.

Resumen: La poesía de Rodrigo Lira está marcada por el uso del humor negro y la polifonía, tanto para referirse a la voz poética como a su contexto literario, cultural, social y político. Estas estrategias para la configuración de su identidad y posicionamiento discursivo, de carácter fragmentario, se utilizan para conjurar su sentido de despertenencia, soledad y culpa de ser. Abstract: Rodrigo Lira’s poetry is marked by the use of black humor and polyphony, both to refer to the poetic voice and its literary, cultural, social and political context. These strategies for the configuration of their identity and discursive positioning, of a fragmentary nature are used to conjure his sense of belonging, loneliness and guilt of being.

In this essay contemporary processes of creation and artistic interpretation are questioned from the point of view of irony, black humor and paradox by means of a theoretical - practical project based on taking certain artistic principles to the limit. This approach is solved by the development of several works using different languages as xylography, serigraphy, lithography, photography, art book, short story and animation., En este trabajo se cuestionan los procesos de creación e interpretación artística contemporáneos a partir de la ironía, el humor negro y la paradoja mediante un proyecto teórico-práctico basado en llevar al límite determinados principios artísticos. Este planteamiento se resuelve con el desarrollo de varios trabajos realizados con diferentes lenguajes gráficos como la impresión digital, la serigrafía, la litografía, la fotografía, el libro de artista, el relato corto y la animación.

Treball Final de Grau en Comunicació Audiovisual. Codi: CA0932. Curs acadèmic 2018-2019 El siguiente trabajo constituye el guion literario de los tres primeros episodios de Inmortal, una historia y guion originales de la autora, Laura Calomarde Juárez, alumna de Cuarto del Grado en Comunicación Audiovisual de la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló. El relato narra la situación de Tommy, un adolescente que en su infancia desarrolla pánico a la muerte tras presenciar un suicidio, por lo que pide como deseo de cumpleaños ser inmortal. Esta condición se hace real y el protagonista lo descubre en plena adolescencia a partir de un accidente, desencadenando así una serie de situaciones y encuentros que le harán reflexionar sobre las diversas facetas de la muerte. Asimismo, dicho TFG consta de un soporte teórico y de investigación, donde se ahonda en la percepción y tratamiento de la inmortalidad en la ficción y leyendas a través del tiempo, al igual que hace inciso en el género del humor negro y las técnicas de guion aplicadas en el producto creativo. Por último, destaca un plan de explotación adecuado a las características de Inmortal, al igual que conclusiones sobre el trabajo y anexos donde podemos observar el guion técnico y storyboard del episodio piloto. La realización de dicho guion de serie pretende potenciar las capacidades literarias y narrativas de la autora, aplicando la creatividad y metodologías trabajadas a lo largo de la carrera y en formaciones complementarias a la misma. The following essay constitutes the screenplay of Inmortal’s first three episodes, an original story and screenplay by Laura Calomarde Juárez, student on the fourth year of the Bachelor’s Degree on Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Jaume I de Castelló. This narration explains Tommy’s situation, a teenager who develops panic to death during his childhood after witnessing a suicide, which leads him to wish immortality as a birthday gift. This condition becomes real and the protagonist discovers it at the middle of his adolescence as a result of an accident, triggering a series of situations and encounters that will make him wonder about the numerous facets of death. Moreover, this Bachelor’s Thesis counts with a theoretical and investigation support, where the perception and treatment of immortality in fiction and legends throughout history is deeply treated, as well as the subject of black humor’s genre and screenplay techniques that have been applied to the creative product. Lastly, it’s important to highlight an exploitation and marketing plan adequate to Inmortal’s features, along with conclusions and annexes where we can observe the technical screenplay and storyboard of the pilot episode. The creation of this series screenplay follows the purpose of enhancing the author’s literary and narrative abilities, applying creativity and methodology achieved throughout the degree and complementary education.

El sujeto agonizante que utiliza el humor, al cual se le llamará “humorante”, cuestiona. ¿Cómo puede, en ese punto preciso de su existencia, permitirse tal afrenta? Si lo hace, es a través del humor negro, es decir, bajo una forma particular y muy cruda. Apoyándose en las aportaciones de Freud y de Lacan sobre la cuestión de la muerte y en el ejercicio clínico en cuidados paliativos, los autores abordan en el presente artículo la expresión de un goce lenguajero de un sujeto que está en camino de lo que pacificará para siempre sus pulsiones. Ahí donde la influencia conjunta del discurso capitalista y del discurso de la ciencia permite sostener en nuestra modernidad el carácter accidental de la muerte. Es a la perplejidad ansiosa frente al real traumático, en la cual permanecen muchos pacientes agonizantes, que el “humorante” parece ensayar una respuesta. S’il le fait, c’est au moyen de l’humour noir, c’est-à-dire, sous une forme particulière et très crue. S’appuyant sur les contributions de Freud et de Lacan par rapport à la question de la mort et sur l’exercice clinique en soins palliatifs, les auteurs abordent dans cet article, l’expression d’une jouissance langagière d’un sujet qui est sur la voie de ce qui apaisera à jamais ses pulsions. Là où l’influence conjointe du discours capitaliste et du discours de la science permet d’avancer dans notre modernité le caractère accidentel de la mort. C’est devant la perplexité anxieuse face au réel traumatique, dans laquelle restent plusieurs patients agonisants, que “l’humourant” semble tenter une réponse.

El presente artículo se propone describir las utilidades que revisten las diferentes expresiones de lo cómico en la clínica. Identificaremos, en primer lugar, a qué denomina Freud la “doble cara” del Witz, con el fin de poder distinguir los diversos tipos de comicidad discriminados en su tratado “El chiste y su relación con lo inconsciente”. Enriqueceremos esta lectura con los desarrollos del filósofo francés Henri Bergson y la aguda lectura de Jacques Lacan. Finalmente, ubicaremos cómo intervienen estas modalidades con respecto al tratamiento de la censura, la relación al deseo, la capacidad de extraer placer de una situación displacentera y la interpretación analítica. The objective of this article is to describe the usefulness for clinical practice of the different expressions of the comic. It begins by identifying what Freud calls the “Janus face” ofWitz, in order to be able to distinguish the diverse forms of the comic dealt with in his treatise “Jokes and their Relation to the Unconscious”, and then goes on to enrich thediscussion with the contributions of French philosopher Henri Bergson and Jacques Lacan's insightful reading. Finally, the paper examines how these modalitiesof the comic contribute to the treatment of censure, the relation to desire, the capacity to find pleasure in an unpleasant situation, and analytical interpretation. Le présent article a pour objet de décrire les utilités qui revêtent les différentes expressions du comique dans la clinique. D’abord, nous identifierons ce que Freud appelle la “double face” du Witz, afin de pouvoir distinguer les diverses modalités du comique discriminés dans son traité “Le mot d’esprit et sa relation à l’inconscient”. Nous enrichirons cette lecture avec les développements du philosophe français Henri Bergson et la lecture très poussée de Jacques Lacan. Finalement, nous situerons comment interviennent ces modalités par rapport au traitement de la censure, à la relation au désir, à la capacité de tirer du plaisir d’une situation déplaisante et à l’interprétation analytique.

Augusto es un proyecto de largometraje de ficción del género de comedia negra el cual está en fase de desarrollo y ya cuenta con un guion cinematográfico terminado. La originalidad es el principal atributo en este proyecto, el cual busca construir su propio espacio dentro del cine peruano gracias a sus cualidades narrativas, como el uso de la temporalidad, la dicción y la construcción de sus personajes. También, con un diseño de producción que refleje una mirada diferente de Lima, menos gris y más surrealista. Por otro lado, el foco de la narración está más en el individuo, el héroe o antihéroe, que en la reflexión política o social. Además, se busca incorporar dentro de la propuesta de realización al arte plástico y la música peruana. El argumento de la obra trata sobre Augusto, un contador y artista frustrado quien tiene un día para salvar su matrimonio, pero deberá tomar la decisión correcta. Ese mismo día, dos sicarios, Pedro y Juan, tienen la misión de matarlo, pero se encuentran con que hay más de un Augusto en su camino, tres para ser exactos, y los tres son la misma persona. En este día, en la ciudad de Lima, el azar y el destino jugarán un rol importante en la realización de los objetivos de Augusto, Pedro y Juan. Gracias al plan de financiamiento, se necesita un inicial de S/30,000 para poder materializar este proyecto en un storyboard, en un teaser, etc. La realización total de este proyecto está valorizada en S/ 1,070,399, y se tiene la ambición de que sea producida con capital peruano y en la ciudad limeña, por lo que se buscará financiamiento en los concursos del Ministerio de Cultura y en empresas privadas. El presente documento tiene como objetivo demostrar la viabilidad de este proyecto, no solo por su originalidad, el uso de la comedia negra o la factura artística propuesta, sino también, gracias al crecimiento del cine peruano en el mundo. Los atributos de este proyecto se traducen en oportunidades para poder llevarlo a festivales que reforzarían su prestigio, acompañado con una estrategia de marketing que busque generar visibilidad a través de las redes sociales. Se hará uso de influencers y obras derivadas de la película para, finalmente, garantizar su rentabilidad en la exhibición en las distintas ventanas propuestas para este proyecto. Augusto is a fiction feature film project of black humor genre which is in the development phase and already has a finished film script. Originality is the main attribute in this Project, which seeks to build its own space within Peruvian cinema thanks to its narrative qualities, such as the use of temporality, diction and the construction of its characters. The objective of this document is to demonstrate the viability of this Project, not only for its originality, the use of black humor or the proposed artistic invoice but also thanks to the growth of Peruvian cinema in the world. The attributes of this Project translate into opportunities to take it to festivals that would reinforce its prestige, accompanied by a marketing strategy that seeks to generate visibility through social networks. Influencers and derived work from the film will be used to ultimately guarantee it profitability in the exhibition in the different windows proposed for this project.
