Методом DFT розраховано геометричні та електронні параметри імінів, досліджено передачу електронних ефектів і фактори, які впливають на бар’єри інверсії атома N (ΔEi¹). Установлено, що зменшення негативних зарядів на атомах N та =С під час N- і С-метилування відповідно обумовлене більшою електронегативністю атома С порівняно з атомом Н; зростання значень qN зі збільшенням ступеня С-метилування викликане збільшенням надспряження метильних груп з розпушувальними орбіталями зв’язку С=N. Розглянуто основні дво- та чотириелектронні взаємодії, які впливають на зміни бар’єрів інверсії атома N; домінуючий вплив на величину ΔEi¹ має електронегативність N-замісників та стеричне напруження, а не внутрішньомолекулярні взаємодії.

The Aim of the Study: Was to assess changes in the oral microbiota when using octenidine dihydrochloride mouthwash., Materials and Methods: Quantitative and qualitative changes in the oral microbiota were studied and evaluated after a single rinse, course application and long-term dates., Results: A single rinse resulted in a significant decrease in the number of pathogenic microorganisms: S. aureus , C. albicans , and Enterobacteriae . After a seven-day course of mouthwash application, the complete disappearance of pathogenic microorganisms: S. aureus , S. albicans , and Enterobacteriae and an increase in the number of Lactobacillus spp were revealed. 7 days after the mouthwash was canceled, there was some recovery of pathogenic ( S. aureus , Candida ), the number of Lactobacillus spp. remained the same, normal microflora almost completely restored., Conclusion: Octenidine dihydrochloride mouthwash may be recommended for wide use in dental practice in the treatment of various oral pathological conditions, including candidiasis and dysbiosis.

The results of microbiological research of efficiency of a new antiseptic preparation Octenisept were presented. Results of the research showed expressed antimicrobic action of a preparation Octenisept in the complex of anti-inflammatory therapy of diseases of parodontal tissues.

Comparative evaluation of laboratory and clinical investigation of antiseptic preparations on the base of octenidin-hydrochloride and bigluconate chlorhexidine in 537 patients was carried out. Statistically valid decrease in dissemination through the operation field and surgical wound after application of octenidin containing solutions was determined. It was established as well that these preparations were more effective fools of protection of the operation wound from its microbial contamination in comparison with antiseptic solutions widely spread to date in surgical practice.

Quantitative estimation of phenol content in human urine involving Gibbs reagent was described in detail; the procedure was applied for screening test of people. The Gibbs reagent was synthesized from commonly available substances 2,6-dibromine-4-aminophenol and 4-nitrophenol. Estimation of total and bound forms of phenol was carried out in 0.5 ml of urine, while phenol conjugates were hydrolyzed by means of heating of urine samples containing 0.2 ml of 42% perchloric acid in boiling water bath and the phenol released was extracted by 3.0 ml of diethyl ether. Sensitivity of the procedure was about 0.1 micrograms of phenol in a sample, when microphotometer, applied in immunological studies, was used for measurement of optic density in the plates holes. Content of total phenol was estimated in urine of 15 children of 6-6.5 years old from Moscow using the procedure developed and it constitute from 2.5 micrograms/ml to 47.0 micrograms/ml, middle value was 9.5 micrograms/ml. In 47 children from Noyabrsk town these parameters constituted 1.5 micrograms/ml, 150 micrograms/ml and 19 micrograms/ml, respectively in adults - 1.5 micrograms/ml, 168 micrograms/ml and 167.7 micrograms/ml, respectively. The upper limit of the phenol normal concentration in urine was proposed to be as 50 micrograms/ml in screening test of people. Content of phenol in urine should be measured within a day during individual examination.

An oligodeoxyribonucleotide composed of 17 residues, d(TATCACCGCCAGAGGTA), and a complementary chain were synthesized. Their duplex was identical with the operator OR1, the binding site for bacteriophage lambda cro and c1 repressors. The 1H NMR spectra (500 MHz) of the duplex imino and aromatic protons were studied at 10, 20 and 25 degrees C. Signals from the imino protons of complementary base pairs and from the C2 protons of adenine (with the exception of the duplex terminal nucleotides) were assigned using the NOE technique and the known characteristics of short DNA fragment melting. No signals from the imino protons of the terminal base pairs were detected even at 10 degrees C due to fraying which increased as the temperature was raised. The assignment of signals can be used to identify centers of interaction between the operator OR1 and repressors, as well as to study possible local changes in DNA geometry.
