The research set the following goals: 1. Identification of current trends in the development of high-speed modular buildings; 2. To carry out an analysis of the design solutions of fast-moving buildings in the domestic and foreign industries; 3. Analyse existing current methods of improving efficiency and saving energy; 4. Propose solutions to improve the energy efficiency of the existing modular building using the BIM energy model. From a single modular window system to a complex prefabricated module, almost all modern buildings integrate prefabricated structures to varying degrees. In particular, prefabricated architecture is a large-scale production process that takes place on a construction site where pre-fabricated construction systems are combined into one component or part of a larger component directly on site. Methodology and methods of research. The study is based on an integrated method, which includes an analysis of the energy-saving characteristics of the three-dimensional planning, construction and engineering solutions of the fast building. Theoretical sources include scientific papers describing approaches to the formation of the space of a modular structure, as well as the application of innovative engineering systems. The empirical basis of the work was the assessment of the energy model of the real-life fast-building in Monchegorsk, Murmansk oblast. The work was carried out by the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation. Practical significance of the work. The energy-efficient design approach considered in the thesis takes into account the joint contribution of the volumetric planning, design and engineering solutions used to the total energy consumption of the modular building.
