Straipsnyje apžvelgiama esė žanro raida ir jo ypatumai. Trumpai apžvelgiama esė žanro istorija, žymiausi esė autoriai ir ryškiausi jų tekstų pavyzdžiai. Kelis amžius besitęsianti esė istorija leidžia iškirti tam tikras žanro ypatybes, skiriančias esė nuo kitų tekstų. Dalį šių esė žanrą charakterizuojančių ypatybių galima vadinti pastoviomis, nekintančiomis; kitos randasi priklausomai nuo laikmečio, autoriaus asmenybės. Esminės esė žanrą apibrėžiančios ypatybės yra filosofinis požiūris į pasaulį, nesuvaržytas mąstymo būdas, minčių laisvė ir aforistiškumas, asmeninė patirtis, kaip centrinė esė konstravimo ašis, kalbos ir stiliaus figūrų – tropų, paradokso, ironijos ir t. t. – naudojimas. Prie laikmečio nulemtų kintančių esė ypatybių galima priskirti saviidentifikaciją, autoriaus polinkį į prieštaringumą, saviraišką ir savianalizę. Būtent asmenybės apibrėžties kultūriniame ir istoriniame laike, jo vertybių sistemos perkainojimo klausimams skiriamas didžiausias dėmesys praėjusio amžiaus esė kūriniuose, kuriuose žymus asmeninis autoriaus santykis su tekstu. Kalbėdamas apie pasaulį autorius iš tikrųjų pirmiausia kalba apie save; keičia savo – dalyvio, stebėtojo, antrininko – vaidmenis ir taip kuria savojo pasaulio atspindį ar modelį. Straipsnyje aktualizuojamas ne tik esė kūrėjo, bet ir tam tikro pasirengimo reikalaujantis skaitytojo vaidmuo, kuris reiškiasi kaip esė įkūnytos patirties perėmimas. Straipsnyje aptariama semiotinė prieiga esė regint kaip ženklų sistemą, kuri, skirtingai nei kituose tekstuose, įžodina ne daiktus, bet jų gilumines reikšmes. The article reviews the development and peculiarities of the essay genre. This article also includes brief overview on the history of the essay genre, the most famous authors and the best known examples of their texts. A few centuries old history of essay makes it possible to distinguish certain features of this genre differentiating essay from other texts. Part of these features characterizing essay genre can be called constant, unchanging; others are occurring depending on the time and author's personality. Essential features defining the essay genre are the philosophical attitude towards the world, unlimited way of thinking, freedom of thoughts and aphoristic elements, personal experience understood as the central axis of essay construction, and usage of style figures, i.e. tropes, paradox, irony, etc. Essay features determined by the period may be also supplemented by self-identification, author's inclinations towards contradictions, self-expression, and self-analysis. Issues associated with the definition of personality in the cultural and historical time, and reappraisal of the system of its values receive the most attention in essay works of the last century, which contain significant personal relation between the author and the text. Speaking about the world, firstly the author actually talks about himself; changes his/her (understood as a participant, observer, or a lookalike) roles, and thus creates a reflection or model of his/her own world. The article focuses not only on the role of the creator, but also on the role of the reader who needs some preparation, and this role is expressed as an interception of the experience embodied by the essay. The article also discusses on semiotic access seeing essay as a system of signs, which, unlike in other texts, presenting deep meanings of things and not things themselves.

The article aims to draw possible parallels between the ideas of one of the outstanding deconstruction theorists, Paul de Man, who verifies text harmony by algebraically disjointing it, and an outstanding figure among the creators of the twentieth century, Czeslaw Milosz, whose text demonstrates perfect synthesis. Paul de Man actualizes the paradox of deconstruction that truth can only be expressed by language; however, this attempt is doomed. Deconstruction is oriented towards language, pluralism of meanings and textual polyphony. The reflection of Czeslaw Milosz’s fiction reveals a special concept which may be considered to be constituted of separate essays and notes, as revealed in his last book The Roadside Dog (1998). Milosz was one of the first to conceive the crisis of the philosophical and literary consciousness of his age, which is expressed as the difference between speech and word in life. The major form of the idea is philosophically, politically, publicistically and historically oriented essayism. His works reflect essay-based contemplation and can be valued as a sample of synthetic mind. The combination of different codes, images and tropes creates an uncommon and marginal stylistics. The method of letters based on the effect of the author’s presence and on the tangibility of the presentation makes a magic impact. Contemporary understanding of the text, comprising the ideas of deconstruction theorists as well as real practice of fictional text creators, leads to the idea that a contemporary literary work resists any attempts to confine it within the limits of traditional literary theory. Only perception of a special relationship between text and language, signifiers and signified, imagination and reality, can bring us closer to the concept of a creative work.

Straipsnyje analizuojama kūno ir kūniškumo tema Cz. Miłoszo esė „Pakelės šunytis“. Autorė pažymi, kad Cz. Miłoszo – poststruktūralizmo ir dekonstrukcijos amžininko – tekstai analizuojami postmoderniosios filosofijos kontekste ir šios filosofijos metodais: siekiama rasti intertekstualinius ryšius su Cz. Miłoszo amžininkų ir jam artimų pagal dvasinę sanklodą pirmtakų tekstais. Tyrimo tema motyvuota poststruktūralistine kūno traktuote, kurios esmė – subjekto kaip transcendentalinio subjekto įveika. Straipsnyje parodoma, kad įvairūs kūniškumo ir kūno ženklai gali būti įtraukti į vieningą teksto skaitymo strategiją. Autorė daug dėmesio skiria vadinamosioms marginalijoms – kūnui, ligai, mirčiai, kurių analizė, jos manymu, leidžia geriau suprasti Cz. Miłoszo filosofiją ir pasaulėjautą. Pažymima, kad į kūną Cz. Miłoszas žvelgia ne kaip į žmogaus organų „talpyklą“, o kaip į visumą, impulsyviai pereinančią iš vienos savo raiškos į kitą. Taip pat plačiai sustojama ties Eroso tema. Pažymima, kad Cz. Miłoszas erotiką laiko prigimtine stichija, bendra visiems žmonėms, taip pat ir visai gyvasčiai. Autorė konstatuoja, kad analizuojamoje Cz. Miłoszo esė kūno „materialumas“ nenaikina kultūrinio kodo, atvirkščiai, kūno ir dvasios sferų susvetimėjimas, Cz. Miłoszo požiūriu, atima prigimtinius pradus iš sferų, kurias priimta laikyti „dvasinėmis“. Konstatuojama, kad kultūrinė Cz. Miłoszo dominantė vis dėlto buvo krikščionybė, ji buvo ta konceptualinė ašis, aplink kurią sukosi Cz. Miłoszo būties prasmės ieškojimai, taip pat- dorovinių būties koordinačių paieškos. The article concentrates on the concept of body in the essay The Roadside Dog (1998) by Czeslaw Milosz, the Nobel Prize winner, considering carnality from the postructuralist perspective of deanthropologisation and subject decentration. The postmodern aesthetics criticizes the traditional representation and focuses on the idea of the subjects death. The subject of the contemporary world cannot be identified to itself. It loses its metaphysical stability and can only be described through reflection, difference and self expression. Its identity can change with every new perception of its own body for it is the body that allows new forms of representation. The used strategy of the text analysis is deconstruction. The author of the article is demonstrating how the variety of evidence of body and carnality can be brought to a unified text deconstruction strategy. This approach allows an unlimited number of text reading versions. The analysis of the important marginal points of the source text leads to weighty results too. However, the article, actually, points at the problem rather than its solution.

Straipsnis analizuoja sąvokos „kalba“ konceptualizaciją Nobelio premijos laureato Czesławo Miłoszo esė „Pakelės šunytis“. Dekonstrukcija kaip teksto studijų strategija tyrime grindžiama J. Derrida idėjomis. Atskaitos tašku pasirenkama dekonstrukcijos rašytinė orientacija. Dekonstrukcinis Czesławo Miłoszo esė skaitymas įgalina atskleisti daugybę prasminių niuansų ir reikšmių. Czesławas Miłoszas aiškina kalbos suvokimo strategiją, tiesos metaforiškumo idėją. Rašytojas suvokia kalbos konceptualizaciją kaip nepaliaujamą prasmių ir signifikacijų žaismą. Šis procesas padeda sutvarkyti nesupratimo chaosą ir paversti jį dialogu. Autoriaus manifestacija jau egzistuoja kalbos struktūrose: jis geba sekti kalbos struktūrų logiką. Toks požiūris į kalbą padeda naujai apmąstyti autoriaus saviraiškos tekste kategoriją. The article analyses the conceptualisation of the notion “language” in the essay “Roadside Dog” by the Nobel Prize Winner Czesław Miłosz. Deconstruction as a strategy of text analysis is based on Derrida’s ideas. The point of reference is the written orientation of deconstruction. The deconstructional reading of Czesław’s Miłosz’s essay enables the revealing of numerous notional nuances and meanings. Czesław Miłosz explains the strategy of language perception and the idea of figurativeness of truth. The writer perceives the conceptualisation of language as a continuous play on meanings and significations. This process helps regularise the chaos of misunderstanding and turn it into a dialogue. The author’s manifestation already exists in linguistic structures: he is able to trace the logic of linguistic structures. Such a view on language helps to re-evaluate the category [10]of the author’s self-expression in the text.

Disertacinio darbo tikslas – rekonstruoti pasaulėvaizdžio fragmentą ir atskleisti jame įvykusius pokyčius, remiantis leksikografiškai užfiksuotais kokybiniais bei kiekybiniais duomenimis apie asmenį įvardijančius daiktavardžius atskirose teminėse grupėse XX ir XXI amžių sandūroje. Pirmojoje dalyje pristatomi teoriniai tyrimo pagrindai, išsamiai aptariama metodologija bei tyrimo metodai, taip pat apibūdinamos pagrindinės sąvokos, kurios pasitelktos kaip mokslinis tyrimo aparatas. Antroje darbo dalyje nagrinėjami religinius asmenis žymintys daiktavardžiai, kulto tarnautojų įvardijimai ir anapusiniam pasauliui priklausančių arba su juo susijusių asmenų pavadinimai. Trečioje disertacijos dalyje analizuojamas šiuolaikinio politinio gyvenimo spektras žodyno hipertekste. Ketvirtojoje dalyje analizuojama ekonominė leksika ir rusų kalbos vartotojų pasaulėvaizdis. The objective of the PhD Thesis is to reconstruct a fragment of the worldview and to reveal the changes related thereto based on qualitative and quantitative data on nouns identifying a person in individual thematic groups at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries recorded lexicographically. Part One describes the theoretical basis of the research, provides a detailed overview of the methodology and the research methods, and defines the key concepts that are used as a scientific research tool. Part Two analyses nouns used to denominate religion-related persons, the titles of the cult servants and the names of persons who belong to the other world or are related thereto. Part Three of the Thesis analyses the spectrum of the modern political world in the hypertext of the vocabulary. Part Four analyses economic lexic and the worldview. Цель диссертационного исследования - реконструкция фрагмента картины мира и выявление изменений в ней на основе лексикографически зафиксированных количественных и качественных данных, имеющих место в классе существительных со значением лица в отдельных тематических группах на рубеже XX и XXI веков. В I главе реферируется научная литература, подробно описывается методология, методы исследования, а также дается характеристика основных понятий, используемых в качестве научного аппарата исследования. Во II главе анализируются существительные, называющие лица по принадлежности к миру религии. III глава посвящена анализу спектра политической жизни в гипертексте словаря. В IV главе анализируется экономическая лексика.
