Tribological properties of TiN and CrN coatings deposited by cathodic arc method at three different bias potentials -50, -150 and -300V on Ti-6Al-4V alloy in pair with alumina have been investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that single-phase textured cubic nitrides of TiN and CrN were formed in these coatings. It is shown that the friction coefficient of the coatings is practically equal to that established for the Ti6Al4V alloy, but the wear rate is more than an order of magnitude lower than for the titanium alloy substrate. Coatings deposited at a potential of -50 V show optimal tribological properties at temperatures 20 and 500°C. Friction coefficients for TiN coatings are 0.4-0.8 at 20°C and 0,75 at 500°C; for CrN coatings they are 0.5 at 20°C and 0,7 at 500°C. Wear rates for TiN coatings are 0.86·10-5 мм3/Нм at 20°C and 3.56·10-5 мм3/Нм at 500°C; for CrN coatings they are 1.43·10-5 мм3/Нм at 20°C and 7.13·10-5 мм3/Нм at 500°C.

The aim. To analyze the experience of surgical treatment of postcoarctation aneurysms and to propose an optimal strategy in choosing a correction method. Materials and methods. An analysis of 91 cases of postcoarctation aneurysm over a 25-year period was carried out. Eighty-five people (93.4%) were operated on, 6 patients (6.6%) were not operated on for various reasons. The patients were divided into clinical groups depending on the method: group I included 69 patients (75.8%) who underwent open correction of postcoarctation aneurysm. Group II consisted of 16 patients (17.6%) after endovascular or hybrid treatment. Results. The obtained results demonstrated significant achievements and pronounced clinical effect of the performed surgical correction of postcoarctation aneurysms. We identified indications and contraindications for the correction of postcoarctation aneurysms by various methods: open, endovascular, and hybrid. It was found that the advantages of the endovascular technique are: minimally invasive approach, absence of a large surgical wound, shorter duration of the operation, faster activation of the patient after the intervention, shorter length of hospital stay in the postoperative period, faster return to a full active life. When studying the long-term results, based on the SF-36 questionnaire scores, it was established that the quality of life was higher among patients who underwent endovascular and hybrid correction of postcoarctation aneurysms. Conclusion. Clear indications for surgical correction of postcoarctation aneurysm and the choice between open surgery, endovascular or hybrid intervention should be determined based on detailed analysis and with the participation of the entire heart team with mandatory consideration of: patient age, comorbidities, expected duration and quality of life of each patient after surgery.

Introduction. Implementation of enhanced recovery after surgery protocol (ERAS) is becoming more and more widespread due to their effectiveness and safety. At the same time, there is a rather limited number of studies focusing on the opportunities of ERAS in the context of its association with metabolic syndrome in patients with colorectal cancer. This study represents the results of our early experience implementing elements of the ERAS program in the perioperative management of patients with colorectal cancer associated with metabolic syndrome. The aim. To conduct a comparative analysis and evaluate the results of surgical treatment using the enhanced recovery after surgery protocol in patients with colorectal cancer and accompanying metabolic syndrome. Materials and methods. This study included 106 patients with colorectal cancer and accompanying metabolic syndrome, divided into two groups: the first group with the use of elements of the ERAS protocol in colorectal surgery from 2018 – 56 patients, and the second group in which the principles of ERAS were not used (50 patients). Introduction. Medical information systems have become an important tool in the complex of providing medical care. They allow storing the patient's medical data, analyzing information at many levels, and using modern electronic and telemedicine technologies. The glossary of the concept of health care informatization defines a medical information system as a type of system characterized by a complex of methodological principles, technical means, management algorithms designed for the collection, storage, analysis, forecasting and transmission of medical information in health care institutions. The aim: To analyze the level of satisfaction of medical workers regarding the functioning of the electronic health care system and medical information systems in all areas of medical activity, by evaluating the data of the electronic questionnaire. Materials and methods: A group of 213 user experts from 11 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv was formed to assess the overall quality of the electronic health care system. Informational, analytical-statistical, graphic, and system analysis methods were applied. Results. The information entered into the medical information systems is subsequently widely used by doctors, other medical personnel, patients, and the administration of the health care facility. However, numerous functional deficiencies, and user wishes were identified. Assessing them will contribute to the improvement of e-Health. Conclusions: Medical information systems (MIS) have become an integral attribute of the practical activity of all doctors. The development of MIS in Ukraine continues in intensive and extensive ways. The first MIS were autonomous and responded to local clinical and administrative needs. The problems of the country's health care management can be corrected through the wide and rational use of MIS, their integration into a single electronic system. This will make it possible to analyze medical data at the level of the country, region, institution and thus be able to apply the correct management decisions. Informatization of health care is a global trend, and in Ukraine it is developing at an unusually fast pace. Therefore, the assessment of convenience, efficiency, and interoperability of MIS should become a permanent tool for monitoring and prompt response by both doctors and health care managers. Medical workers are quite satisfied with the functioning of medical information systems in Ukraine, but the issues between technical solutions and practical use of the application remain unresolved.

An assessment was made of the possibilities of using burial complexes to study social and cultural dynamics in the Neolithic of Baikal-Yenisey Siberia (~8.6–5 ka cal BP). The cultural-chronological scheme developed for the Middle Holocene of the Cis-Baikal as a result of the implementation of the Baikal Archaeological Project (BAP) is analyzed. It is concluded that the selective geographical coverage and insufficient attention to the materials of the campsites limited the possibilities of interpreting the BAP results and led to the creation of not quite correct periodization and the artificial phenomenon of hiatus, characterized by the absence of formal burials in the Middle Neolithic. The evolutionist approach of the BAP determined the nature of the concept, which implies a predominantly endogenous development of the Cis-Baikal cultures and does not take into account external factors. Based upon the correlation data of materials from burials and campsites of Baikal-Yenisey Siberia (which in the Neolithic was a single cultural area), the authors propose an alternative view of the dynamics of societies and cultures of local hunter-gatherers. According to it, there are four events that led to significant changes and three transitions, during which one or another cultural pattern was formed, have been identified. At the same time, the authors call for abandoning the use of the concept of “Late Mesolithic” for the beginning of Middle Holocene and propose to combine it with the Early Neolithic and we also make our proposals for filling the Middle Neolithic hiatus.

Background Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) remain the standard method of treating acetabular fractures. Many authors report poor results in quadrilateral plate fractures of the acetabulum with the use of ORIF. The objective was to evaluate outcomes of quadrilateral plate fractures of the acetabulum. Material and methods Surgical outcomes of 55 patients with quadrilateral plate fractures of the acetabulum were retrospectively reviewed between 2009 and 2019. Early postoperative results were followed up in 55 patients. Surgical treatment was provided for 32 (58.2 %) control patients with acetabular fractures and 23 patients (41.8 %) with quadrilateral plate fractures of the acetabulum in the main group. Long-term results were explored in 45 patients aged 18 to 60 years with acetabular fractures (control group, n = 24) and in combination with quadrilateral plate involvement (main group, n = 21). Results Surgical interventions were performed by one team consisting of the same specialists. Surgical outcomes in oth clinical groups were evaluated according to 11 criteria. Discussion The results of surgical treatment of acetabular fractures and quadrilateral plate involvement were associated with the negative impact of quadrilateral plate involvement on the duration and volume of blood loss, intraoperative and late complications and dynamics in the development of post-traumatic hip arthrosis. The results obtained were comparable with the data of the itation sources. Conclusion A comparative analysis of the outcomes suggested a negative impact of quadrilateral plate involvement on the results of surgical treatment and an objective necessity to rank quadrilateral plate fractures of the acetabulum as a risk factor for adverse outcomes with ORIF.

Background. The problem of bone defects replacement is relevant nowadays, that is why many scientists create new synthetic bone substitutes, but the ideal material has not been found so far. The aims of the study: 1) to determine the suitability of the monocortical defect model in the rat femur diaphysis with additional prophylactic reinforcement with a bone plate for assessing the biological properties of implanted materials using the commercially available ChronOS material as an example; 2) to assess of the osteoconductive properties of composite materials based on poly(ethylene glycol)diacrylate and octacalcium phosphate with architecture Kelvin and gyroid types on the developed model. Methods. A prospective study, level of evidence II. A monocortical defect of the rat femoral diaphysis (length 7 mm) was produced under anaesthesia in aseptic conditions and fixed with a polyetheretherketone plate and six titanium screws. In the control group, the defect was left empty. In other groups, blocks of one of three materials were implanted сhronOS and composites of poly(ethylene glycol)diacrylate and octacalcium phosphate with 3D-printed Kelvin and gyroid architectures. After 3 and 6 weeks, the rats were sacrificed, and histological examination of the defect zone was performed. The amount of newly formed bone tissue was histometricly assessed, followed by statistical processing of the results. Results. All rats have reached the planned endpoint, and there were no infectious complications or loss of fixation. Histological examination of the defect zone revealed minimal bone growth in the Control group, rather slow bone formation in the Gyroid group, and statistically significantly more pronounced bone formation in the pores of the materials in the Kelvin and Chronos groups. Conclusions. Bone defect in this model was not spontaneously filled with bone tissue and allowed us to study the biological properties of bone substitutes (the ability to biodegrade and osteoconductive properties). The osteoconductive properties of a composite material based on poly(ethylene glycol)diacrylate and octacalcium phosphate with a Kelvin architecture are higher than with a gyroid architecture and are comparable to that of the сhronOS.

The aim. To evaluate the rate of long-term complications on ascending aorta after bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) replacement depending on the type of defect (stenosis or insufficiency) and to determine the indications to certain type of surgery in this category of patients. Materials and methods. One hundred five patients underwent BAV replacement between 2007 and 2014. The patients were divided into two groups. Group 1 included 63 patients with stenosis prevalence, group 2 included 42 patients with insufficiency. Aortic diameter at the level of the sinuses of Valsalva and at the level of the ascending aorta was assessed preoperatively and in the long-term postoperative period. Results. Long-term results were studied in 86 (81.9%) patients during 6.8 ± 2.2 years at the average. Sixteen (18.6%) patients developed aortic complications: 6 (6.9%) of them had progressive dilatation (10% from initial diameter), aneurysm formation was detected in 8 cases (9.3%) with 6 cases (6.9%) of dissection, 1 patient (1.3%) had aortic rupture. Freedom from ascending aorta dilatation within 13 years after BAV replacement was 95.1% in group 1 and 62.3% in group 2. Freedom from aortic dissection within 13 years after BAV replacement was 90.1% at the average (97% in group 1 and 80.6% in group 2). Conclusion. The tactics of aortic aneurysm correction in BAV depends on its diameter and, to a lesser extent, on the presence of stenosis or insufficiency of the valve. With existing stenosis and a diameter of the ascending aorta up to 4.5 cm, it is possible to consider correction without intervention on the ascending aorta. The presence of valve insufficiency in such a situation often requires additional manipulations on the ascending aorta.

The relevance of the study is caused by the need to capture and utilize one of the main types of greenhouse gases – carbon dioxide (CO2). This need is primarily related to the ever-increasing CO2 emissions, three quarters of which are accounted for by the combustion of various fuels. The main aim is to analyze and systematize international methods for calculating the pipeline transport of liquefied carbon dioxide (LCO2) to determine differences in numerical results, including factors taken into account and not taken into account in the methods under consideration, as well as to analyze water transport type as an alternative to pipeline transport. Objects: liquefied carbon dioxide, a pipeline for transporting LCO2. Methods: numerical modeling of LCO2 pipeline transport according to international methods to estimate the required diameter capable of providing a given pumping flow rate, analysis of the results obtained. Results. The authors have carried out a review of existing methods for calculating LCO2 pipelines, carried out numerical modeling and analysis of the results were, during which it was revealed that most models ignore the influence of impurities, which, however, affect the technological parameters of operation and modeling of LCO2 pipelines, which will lead to inaccuracies in their design and operation. In addition, it was found that the fluid velocity in the pipeline is calculated according to the parameters in the initial section, which corresponds to its minimum value in the pipeline, and is assumed to be equal to it throughout the pipeline without taking into account the expansion of LCO2 from changes in temperature and pressure along its length and, consequently, without taking into account additional pressure losses and changes in other technological parameters that they can directly affect the operational safety and economic efficiency of the designed or operated LCO2 pipeline. It should also be noted that the diameter determination equations depending on the length of the pipeline are not suitable for estimating the optimal diameter of the pipeline. As for alternatives to pipeline transport, first of all, it is worth noting the possibility of transportation by tankers over long distances or the possibility of using LCO2 to increase the flow rate of deposits on the shelf and in hard-to-reach places of the coastal zone.

Aim Study of mechanical and biological properties of five variants of alloys of the Ti-Nb-Ta system. Materials and methods Five alloys were obtained from the system: Ti-(15-20)Nb-(5-10)Ta (at. %). Their mechanical tests were carried out by stretching on the INSTRON 3382 universal testing machine in accordance with GOST 1497-84. The biological properties of the resulting alloys were evaluated in in vivo experiments (implantation surgery) on white outbred male JCR mice. Histological study of the tissues of the limb with an implant, kidneys and liver was carried out at three time points: at 1, 4, 12 weeks after surgery, which corresponds to the early, middle and late phases after implantation. Results The samples showed ductility from 11.5 % to 14.6 %, strength from 549 to 673 MPa and Young's modulus from 42 to 50 GPa. The yield strength also varied depending on the composition of the alloy within 188 – 572 MPa. The inflammatory reaction was the least pronounced in the groups with Ti-20Nb-5Ta and Ti-15Nb-10Ta alloys implanted. Discussion Compared to the widely used TiAl6V4 alloy, the obtained alloys approximately correspond in terms of plasticity and have approximately 2 times lower Young's modulus, which should lead to better biomechanical compatibility between the implant and the surrounding biological tissues, preventing the effect of protection against stress and, accordingly, bone resorption. The relatively low tensile strength of the obtained alloys does not reduce the above-mentioned advantage over TiAl6V4, since this strength is quite sufficient for the proposed application. Histological study after 1, 4 and 12 weeks showed that the intensity of the local inflammatory reaction due to new alloys is higher than with the use of TiAl6V4, which requires further study and could be associated with a small sample size. Conclusions The way to create titanium alloys with a low Young's modulus may solve the problem of biomechanical compatibility of the implant with the surrounding tissues. The obtained and described alloys of the Ti-Nb-Ta system showed the neceary mechanical and, according to the initial assessment, acceptable biological properties that require further broader research.

Introduction. The lack of known Middle Neolithic burial complexes in Baikal-Yenisei Siberia makes pottery finds from archaeological sites a key source to explore the cultural and historical situation in the region. According to AMS 14C-dates in the range of ~6,8–6,3 ka cal BP in the territory of Baikal-Yenisei Siberia, two types of ceramics are widespread — Posolsk and Ust-Belaya types. Goals. The study seeks to identify technological and cultural traditions of Middle Neolithic pottery. Materials and methods. The work examines Ust-Belaya and Posolsk type pottery samples from fifteen excavated sites of Baikal-Yenisei Siberia. The paper describes morphological and decorative patterns inherent thereto, provides technical and technological analyses following the methodology of A. Bobrinsky. The molding masses of eighteen Ust-Belaya type vessels and sixteen Posolsk type vessels have been studied with the aid of a binocular microscope. Results. In all cases, ferruginous sandy clay containing quartz sand had served as initial plastic raw material. Molding masses are characterized mainly by an unmixed one-component composition without artificial additives. In two cases, quartz grus has been identified, in another there are traces of organic matter (possibly added intentionally). Vessels of the Posolsk type have closed paraboloid forms with a weak profiling of the upper part and a sharpened bottom. The ornament is localized in the upper part of the vessel and is represented by horizontal ‘receding stick’ rows or drawn lines. The composition below ends with separate shapes, such as triangles or short vertical lines. The rim is decorated with prints of a comb stamp and has a line of round holes which is located over the line made by stick through drawing or receding techniques. The study of molding masses of sixteen Posolsk vessels demonstrates an unmixed one-component composition. In all cases, ferruginous sandy clay had been used as initial plastic raw material. The analysis of the modeling features of Middle Neolithic ceramics makes it possible to formulate hypothetical production programs of theirs. To check the latter, experiments were carried out to model the Ust-Belaya and Posolsk types of vessels. Technical and technological analyses, experiments conducted, and comparisons of models with archaeological vessels reveal technological traditions generally characteristic of Middle Neolithic pottery, such as the method of zonal patchwork modeling in combination with walls knocking out techniques, as well as the use of other vessels as base forms. So, Ust-Belaya vessels could have been completely made on such base forms, while upper parts of Posolsk vessels were profiled after removal from such forms. Knocking out tools for Posolsk ceramics included cord and carved shovels, and for Ust-Belaya type — smooth shovels sometimes wrapped with a woven net. Design patterns of the rim are also different. Conclusions. For the preparatory stage of Middle Neolithic ceramics production, there was a stable tradition of using local sandy clays without additives. The modeling principles common for the two types, along with the absence of flat-bottomed forms, reflect the same level of technological development and similar ideas about the making and functions of vessels, which does not necessarily indicate any ethnocultural closeness of culture bearers. Different traditions of morphology, techniques and decoration indicate that the pottery types belong to different populations. In Posolsk ceramics, there are autochthonous features bringing it closer to the Early Neolithic Khaita pottery. Ceramics of the Ust-Belaya type has no visible origins in the Early Neolithic of the region, which indicates its non-local origin. In addition, the materials of the campsites indicate that the bearers of these traditions had tended to choose different habitats.

Background. The ongoing pandemic of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) draws attention to the significance of molecular and genetic monitoring of the SARS-CoV-2 spread among the population of the Russian Federation. The aim of the study was to analyze the dynamics of circulation of SARS-CoV-2 genetic variants in Russia. Materials and methods. The analysis of the circulation dynamics for SARS-CoV-2 genetic variants in Russia was carried out, covering the period from 28/12/2020 to 26/6/2022. The analysis included the data from Rospotrebnadzor Report No. 970 "Information about Infectious Diseases in Individuals with Suspected Novel Coronavirus Infection" and the Virus Genome Aggregator of Russia (VGARus). The presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA was confirmed by the real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. The primer panels developed at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology were used for amplification of genomic fragments and the subsequent sequencing. Results and discussion. Using the Russian VGARus platform developed by the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology, we received the data on mutational variability of SARS-CoV-2. By monitoring the circulation of SARS-CoV-2 genetic variants in Russia from 28/12/2020 to 26/6/2022, we found that Delta and Omicron genetic variants prevailed at different stages of the epidemic. Conclusion. The data of molecular and genetic studies are an essential component of epidemiological surveillance, being critically important for making executive decisions aimed at prevention of further spread of SARS-CoV-2 and laying the groundwork for creating new vaccines.

Background. The use of classical and modified surgical approaches to acetabulum is accompanied by serious intra- and postoperative complications associated with tissues, vessels, nerves, and lymphatic structures injury. The choice of approach to acetabulum affects the surgical time and the blood loss volume. The aim of the review was to compare the surgical time and blood loss volume using different surgical approaches to the acetabulum based on the relevant literature analysis. Methods. The search was carried out in PubMed/MEDLINE and Scopus databases from 1964 to 2022. When conducting a search for the phrases acetabular fractures, surgical approach to the acetabulum, 4368 articles were found. As a result of the selection, 12 publications containing the most complete information on the studied indicators were included in the quantitative analysis. Results. The data of surgical treatment of 540 patients with acetabulum fractures were analyzed. The average age of the patients was 45.211.6 years. Among the causes of pelvic and acetabulum fractures, road accident (70.4%) and falls from height (21.3%) largely prevailed. The blood loss depended on the use of specific approaches or their combination, and the surgical time. The shortest surgical time (101.027.0 min.) was required using pararectal approach, the longest (26456.4 min.) with the use of ilio-inguinal approach. The largest volume of blood loss was observed with Pfannenstiel approach 1057.1377.9 ml. No statistically significant differences were found when comparing the Kocher-Langenbeck (793328 ml), ilio-inguinal (82864 ml) and pararectal (798322 ml) approach. Performing the Kocher-Langenbeck approach in the patients lateral position reduces the surgical time by 16.8% and reduces blood loss by 12.4% compared to the patients prone position. Conclusion. Comparative clinical studies are required to determine the safest surgical approaches to the acetabulum, depending on the type of fracture, the mechanism of injury and the age of the patient.

Introduction. The formation of new blood vessels is called angiogenesis. As the tumor grows, the oxygen and nutrient requirements of the abnormal cells continuously increase, and new blood vessels are formed. These processes are disrupted by angiogenesis inhibitors. Therefore, it is warranted to investigate ways to enhance the capabilities of angiogenesis inhibitors alkaloids, flavonoids, and glycosides. Aim. To justify the extension of clinical use of alkaloids, flavonoids and glycosides (Conium maculatum and Hydrastis canadensis, Thuja occidentalis), being a part of the complex medical product Mastopol, taking into account the obtained data on the angiogenic balance in the nodular form of benign mammary dysplasia (BMD). Materials and methods. The study included 69 volunteers divided into two groups: Group 1 included 27 patients with medical history of surgery for nodular BMD who received antiproliferative preoperative therapy with Mastopol for 12 weeks. Group 2 (comparison group), n=42, also included patients with medical history of surgery for nodular BMD but without preoperative therapy with the herbal medicine Mastopol. We studied angiogenesis markers (VEGF-A [vascular endothelial growth factor] and pVEGF-1) and immunohistochemical marker CD34 (cluster of differentiation CD). Results. We found a significantly higher (p0.001) rate of CD34 detection on medium and small caliber vessels in the comparison group, i.e., in the patients who were not treated preoperatively with alkaloids, flavonoids, and glycosides (Mastopol), while blood supply to the nodules by the medium and small vessels was 1.4 and 1.8 times lower in the Group 1, respectively. Analysis of VEGF expression shows an increase of angiogenic promoters VEGF-A and pVEGF-1 in serum before treatment with biologically active herbal components of Mastopol in both groups. There were no statistically significant differences in vascular markers. However, a statistically significant decrease in VEGF-A and pVEGF-1 (p0.001) was noted in Group 1 after Mastopol therapy. Note the presence of a moderate direct correlation (rs=0.49) of CD34 expression with VEGF-A expression in Group 1 and rs=0.41 in Group 2, which indicated a direct relationship between angiogenesis and proangiogenic factors. Conclusion. In addition to the proven antiproliferative, anti-inflammatory, cytokine stabilizing, analgesic, and anti-edema properties of Mastopol, the study also showed the antiangiogenic effect of the herbal drug components. Considering the decreased vascular growth in fibroadenomas during Mastopol treatment, the indications for its use in patients with fibroadenomas before the surgery can be extended. Specific immunological test to measure VEGF can be proposed as a noninvasive screening method to evaluate the effectiveness of conservative treatment in general clinical practice.

A simulation model of a computer system built in the Simulink (SimEvent) environment is considered. According to the queuing theory, the system is classified as G/G/n/∞. This means that there are multiple input streams in the system, their queue is infinite, and two feedbacks are applied. These feedbacks reflect the situation of the repeated processing in case of failure or lack of a solution at the first processing attempt. The system architecture under consideration is focused on parallel processing of a certain class of tasks, while the tasks themselves are data-independent. The model is investigated for uniformly distributed and exponential input streams. The situation of continuous streams for several types of tasks is considered, for which priorities and the numbers of partitioning fragments vary. The number of fragments determines the degree of parallelism in the execution of the task. The paper shows a method for automatically determining the optimal number of task fragments to guarantee its completion within the target period. The use of sporadic control mechanisms for a number of the task fragments received in a continuous stream and the priorities managing of each of the task fragments are proposed. The proposed mechanism of the sporadic management made it possible to significantly speed up the tasks completion within the target deadline. As a result, the load on the computing system has been reduced and the efficiency of its operation has been increased. The use of the proposed algorithms significantly simplifies the scheduling mechanisms in the computer system, which allows you to exclude the scheduler

Aim. To evaluate dynamic changes in the lungs, hemostasis system, immune system in different terms after coronavirus pneumonia. Materials and methods. Ventilation-perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (CT), functional methods of lung investigation, evaluation of hemostasis system, immune status and specific humoral immune response were performed and evaluated in different terms after coronavirus pneumonia. A total of 71 patients were examined according to this protocol. We examined patients with the lesion volume not less than 50% according to chest CT. All patients were divided into 2 groups depending on the distance from the acute stage of coronavirus pneumonia. Group 1 included patients who were examined early (3060 days after hospital discharge), group 2 included patients who were examined later (61180 days after hospital discharge). Results. We obtained gradual regression of pathologically-modified tissue from 67.3% during the inpatient phase to 30.9% during the early period and to 19.7% during the late period of examination, according to CT scan of the chest organs. The same tendency was demonstrated by diffusion capacity of the lungs. Perfusion scintigraphy data showed a decrease in perfusion deficit from 26.012.8% during the early period of examination to 19.46.2% during the late period of examination. On the contrary, ventilatory scintigraphy demonstrates the increase of isotope passage time through the alveolar-capillary membrane over time (from 48.231.3 minutes in the early period to 83.637.2 minutes in the late period). An increase in D-dimer was detected in 24% of patients in the early group. The levels of inflammatory markers, indices of immune status, and specific humoral immune response did not differ in the two described groups. Conclusion. The results demonstrate gradual regression of pathological changes caused by coronavirus infection.

The relevance of the research. In the modern world, pipeline transportation of oil and petroleum products occupies a leading position and it is an important aspect of the industry not only of the Russian Federation, but of the whole world. However, despite all its advantages, there are also significant disadvantages, including those related to the operation of pipeline systems and the accuracy of determining the technological parameters of the pipeline during mathematical modeling in operation and design. In this regard, the development of new and improving the accuracy of existing mathematical models of pipeline systems are urgent tasks of designing and operating pipeline systems, including when designing looping. The main aim of the research is the investigation of the influence of local resistances arising at the points of connection of the looping to the main line of the pipeline on increasing the throughput capacity of the section of the main oil pipeline between two oil pumping stations by laying the looping. Methods: mathematical modeling of the main pipeline section operation taking into account local resistances at the looping connection points and without taking them into account, as well as a comparative analysis of the results obtained by constructing three-dimensional dependencies. Results. A refined mathematical model of the inter-station section of the pipeline with looping, through which oil or petroleum products are pumped, has been developed. The authors have constructed a three-dimensional graph of the dependence of the deviation in calculation results of the looping length of the standard and refined models on the length and diameter of the laid looping. An economic assessment of the additional length of the looping was carried out and three-dimensional dependences of profit on the diameter and length of the looping were constructed, taking into account transshipment operations and without them.

U poslednje dve decenije 19. veka u Kraljevini Srbiji osnovan je veliki broj lokalnih novčanih zavoda. Ove ustanove postale su nosilac investiranja u privredu jer državne finansije to nisu omogućavale. Osobenost organizovanja bankarskog tržišta u Srbiji bila je ta da su banke nastale ne zbog viška novca na tržištu već upravo iz suprotnog razloga, zbog njegovog nedostatka. Rad novčanih zavoda posle Prvog svetskog rata nastavljen je ne samo u novoj državi već i u potpuno drugačijim okolnostima. U članku je, prvenstveno na osnovu arhivske građe, ali i objavljenih izvora i relevantne literature prikazan rad Niške akcionarske štedionice, kao primer rada novčanih zavoda na istoku države koji se nisu našli u situaciji da zatraže zaštitu zbog moratorijuma na otplatu zemljoradničkih kredita tokom tridesetih godina 20. veka u Jugoslaviji. Njihov rad je, međutim, bio krajnje ograničen, što zbog ekonomske krize koja je ograničavala mogućnosti za poslovanje, što usled osobenih prilika u Kraljevini Jugoslaviji.

Study aim. To analyse the surgical outcomes in patients with haemorrhagic stroke depending on the timing of surgery. Materials and methods. We performed a retrospective analysis of 500 patients (335 (67%) men and 165 (33%) women), who underwent surgical treatment of hypertensive intracranial hemorrhages at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute for Emergency Medicine between 1997 and 2020. The mean patient age was 53.1 12.2 years. The mean time until surgery was 3.3 2.6 days. Outcomes were assessed on day 30 from disease onset using the modified Rankin Scale (mRS). Results. In the total sample, outcomes as measured by the mRS were as follows: type 0 84 (16.8%) patients, type 1 37 (7.4%), type 2 46 (9.2%), type 3 38 (7.6%), type 4 43 (8.6%), type 5 142 (28.4%) and type 6 110 (22.0%). Treatment results were better when surgery was delayed (2 = 64.4; p 0.00001). Mortality was 36.4% after surgery conducted in the first day after haemorrhage, while mRS scores of 02 made up 18.6%. Mortality was 20.4% after surgery conducted on the second or third day, and mRS scores of 02 made up 29.6%. Mortality was 17.4% after surgery conducted on day 47, and mRS scores of 02 outcomes were present in 49.0% of subjects. Mortality was 8.8% when surgery was performed on day 8 or later, and favourable outcomes were present in 48.5% of patients. Conclusion. Intracerebral haematoma excision on day 23 leads to better outcomes in patients with reduced levels of alertness up to sopor, while surgery after day 3 leads to better results in alert patients and those with obtundation.

The development of a new design of a leg prosthesis for interaction with inclined surfaces is of interest to provide a new level of comfort for people with disabilities. Based on the analogues and modern works in the prosthetics sphere, tree concepts of the prosthesis design are proposed. Spatial models of surfaces and solid models have been created. To confirm the operability of structures and determine the stress-strain state that occurs when interacting with a surface having a slope of 15 relative to the horizontal plane, the finite element method is used on spatial models of four variants of geometry. A comparative analysis of various variants of the prosthesis design under the same conditions is carried out. The results obtained showed that this design solution is workable, suitable for production and for 14.4% more efficient than standard designs with one slot in the spring element and 44.5% more efficient than designs without slots in the spring elements.

Abstract. Introduction The problem of complications after surgical treatment of pertrochanteric fractures in elderly patients is relevant and far from a solution. Materials and methods The retrospective study was based on the analysis of the results of treatment of 129 patients with pertrochanteric femoral fractures (average age 76 years). All fractures in the early time from trauma were fixed with two types of cephalomedullary nails, either dynamic or static. All patients could not limit the load on the operated limb after surgery because of different reasons. Results The results of treatment were evaluated in 109 patients after one year. In dynamic cephalomedullary fixator group (59 patients), there were 7 orthopedic complications with a functional Harris scale result of 68 points (range, 26 to 94 points). In static cephalomedullary fixator group (50 patients), there were 14 orthopedic complications with a functional Harris score of 56.5 points (range, 15 to 92 points). Discussion Higher results of treatment in the group of dynamic fixator in the condition of full-weight bearing on the operated limb may be associated with the possibility of dynamization of the part of fixator in response to bone resorption in the contact area of bone fragments. The use of dynamic cephalomedullary fixators instead of static ones for treatment of pertrochanteric femoral fractures in elderly patients exercising full weight-bearing leads to a decrease in orthopedic complications (from 28 to 11.9 %) and improves the functional results of treatment.

Abstract. Introduction According to the overwhelming majority of Russian and foreign authors, orthopedic traumatologists have been striving to improve the results of surgical treatment of acetabular (AC) fractures over the past decades. First of all, this is due to an increase in the number and severity of this injury, persisting complications and dissatisfaction of researchers with their own results of surgical treatment. Purpose Study of the rationale used by traumatologists for certain surgical approaches in the treatment of acute acetabular fractures. Materials and methods Literature sources were searched for information in the systems and databases Pubmed, Embase, Scopus, Medline, Cochran Library, eLibrary, Wiley Online Library using the keywords: acetabular fractures, surgical treatment, acetabular approach, open reduction and fixation of acetabular fractures, duration and blood loss, hip arthroplasty. Results The incidence of AC fractures, according to different authors, ranges from 2 to 23.4 %. The cause of this injury is road traffic accidents in up to 83 % of all cases. A significant increase in the number of AC fractures was noted. AC fractures in the vast majority of cases are classified according to AO/ASIF. Displaced AC fractures and multiplanar fractures are subject to surgical treatment. Open reduction and internal fixation still remain the standard treatment for AC fractures. The choice of the surgical approach is carried out more often taking into account the classification of AC fractures, and the type of fracture dictates the choice of approach to the acetabulum. It was found that the authors are forced to use surgical approaches taking into account the fractures of the AC columns. Discussion Adherence of traumatologists to the standards regarding indications for the choice of surgical approaches for complex AC fractures was noted. Surgical approaches for the treatment of two-column acetabular fractures are still often extended and traumatic, prolonged and accompanied by blood loss. Conclusion In the surgical treatment of pelvic and AC fractures, most authors adhere to standards in the choice of approach and fixation of columns and AC fragments. There is unanimity in the recognition of the trauma and "expansion" of the approaches used, accompanied by blood loss reaching up to 2000 ml and more, and the duration of the operation is on average 3 hours 50 minutes. For the surgical treatment of acute AC fractures, the researchers used both classical and modified anterior and posterior surgical approaches with the obligatory consideration of the classification of AC fractures. The rationale for choosing an operative approach, as a rule, was the determination of the type of AC fracture according to the AO/ASIF classification. The most effective approach in the surgical treatment of AC fractures is the combined anterior and posterior approach.

Background. The ratio of breasted children for more than six months increased from 33 to 40% in the period from 1991 to 2019 according to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service. This number has not changed in recent 12 years and remained on the level of 39-41%. Relatively low adherence to breastfeeding may be the consequence of the lack of training of future doctors in these issues.Objective. The aim of the study was to analyse the knowledge (and its dynamics over the past decade) of medical students, interns and residents on breastfeeding support and promotion in Russian Federation.Methods. We have conducted the survey among senior students, interns, and residents in 2009-2011 and 2018-2019. 8 medical universities participated in the study in 2009-2011, and 24 medical universities and one continuing education institute — in 2018-2019. Knowledge on breastfeeding support issues was estimated according to the results of future doctors’ responses to the proposed questionnaires.Results. Sample of 2009-2011 has included 1088 students, interns, and residents, sample of 2018-2019 — 3694. There is still high level of mistakes in the breastfeedng issues due to the decline in knowledge of the WHO breastfeeding recommendations. The level of understanding of practical aspects has not changed significantly over the 10 years, and there is still a gap between theoretical knowledge and practice.Conclusion. The necessity to improve quality of future doctors training in breastfeeding issues is shown.

Hemorrhagic stroke is a medical and social problem, with an incidence of 1535 per 100 000 people per year. It is characterized by high patient mortality (up to 53% in the first year) and disability, with most of the surviving patients having persistent neurological deficits and about 20% of them requiring continuous assistance. The advantages of surgical or conservative treatment of patients with supratentorial hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) are still under discussion. This literature review is based on 12 open-source articles on prospective randomized trials comparing conservative and surgical treatment results in patients with supratentorial ICH, which demonstrate contradictory results. Based on an analysis of all the works, we can conclude that surgical treatment has an advantage when performed early (within 1272 hours) in patients whose level of consciousness is 912 points on the Glasgow Coma Scale. Needle aspiration and local fibrinolysis are effective for basal ganglia ICH, while open surgery and endoscopic aspiration are effective in subcortical ICH. For subcortical ICHs that are 2080 cm3 in size, surgical treatment improved functional outcomes, while in ICHs larger than 50 cm3, it helped to reduce mortality.

The banking system of the Kingdom of Serbia, and later of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, was principally characterized by numerous small, local money bureaus. These bureaus were founded with the purpose of providing the necessary capital and profit to their shareholders, as well as offering the ground for the capital placement in times of economic depression. The Market Loan and Savings Bank of Vranje was established in the time of a great financial crisis and is thus an example of the money bureau of the aforementioned nature. Moreover, it is the evidence of how the Great Depression affected the private banking system in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. This paper is based on archival materials and relevant reference materials from both national and international sources.

Chronic endometritis is a clinical morphological syndrome that develops as a result of a self-sustaining pathological process, which is based on a violation of the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines initiated by an infectious factor. The article presents the clinical and etiological classification of endometritis, the pathogenesis of development in terms of involvement of immunocompetent cells, standards for diagnosis and therapy.

Numerous local monetary bureaus owned by shareholders were established in the Kingdom of Serbia in the late nineteenth century. Many of these institutions, such as the Niš Cooperative, not only engaged in banking services but also owned industrial and trade companies. Economic circumstances changed so significantly after World War I that bank managements often were unable to cope with them. The Niš Cooperative was an example of a stable yet not particularly powerful monetary bureau whose reputation depended on the leading members of its Board of Directors. Unlike most other monetary bureaus, the Niš Cooperative continued operating after World War II up until privately-owned monetary bureaus were closed by the socialist Yugoslav government.

Background. Vitamin D is an essential component that regulates calcium homeostasis and many other cellular functions. Hypovitaminosis D is associated with a risk of osteopenia, obesity, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, malignant neoplasms and immune disorders. Inadequate vitamin D intake during pregnancy increases a risk of pre-eclampsia, preterm birth, low birth weight as well as it has a negative impact on both children’s and adolescents’ health. It is important for the clinician to be known administrating of vitamin D prophylactic and therapeutic regimens according to serum 25(OH)D levels. Aim. To determine causes and effects of vitamin D deficiency and to elaborate ways of their correction. Materials and methods. To write this review a search for domestic and foreign publications in Russian and international search systems (PubMed, eLibrary, etc.) for the last 2-15 years was conducted. The review includes articles from peer-reviewed literature. Results. The article shows that vitamin D has a significant impact on both the cardiovascular, endocrine, digestive, respiratory and other systems functioning and perinatal outcomes that necessitates vitamin D deficiency correction. It provides schemes for effective therapeutic and prophylactic drug doses calculating depending on vitamin D3 blood serum concentration. Conclusion. Preference should be given to cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) due to its better absorption properties and more efficient conversion to active vitamin metabolites (class IIC).

Background. Organic substances, despite their presence in all drinking mineral waters, are still considered to be active only in the water of Naftussya type (which, due to mineralization less than 1 g/L, are not formally mineral), whereas the physiological activity of true mineral waters (which mineralization is greater than 1-2 g/L) are associated with electrolytes and trace elements. The purpose of this study was to clarify the role of organic carbon and nitrogen of mineral waters in their effects on certain parameters of metabolism. Material and Methods. Experiment was performed on 48 healthy female Wistar rats 240-290 g divided into 5 groups. Animals of the first group for 6 days administered a single tap water through the probe at a dose of 1,5 mL/100 g of body mass. In the second group we administered the water Naftussya from the Truskavets’ layer, in the third group the water Sophiya of the Truskavets’ field. The rats of the fourth group received the native water from the Gertsa (Bucovyna) field, and the last group its artificial salt analogue. The day after the completion of the drinking course in all rats some metabolic parameters were registered. Results. On the basis of the correlation analysis with step-by-step exclusion, four metabolites of blood as well as five metabolites of urine are included in the regressive model for organic carbon (R=0,697; R2=0,486; Adjusted R2=0,347; F(10,4)=3,5; p=0,0025). Organic nitrogen of mineral waters affects five metabolic parameters of urine only, but with approximately the same force (R=0,621; R2=0,385; Adjusted R2=0,312; F(5,4)=5,3; p=0,0008). Conclusion. Organic substances of mineral waters play an essential role in their effects on the parameters of metabolism.

В 2019 г. на территории Норского государственного природного заповедника впервые были пойманы две особи A. agrarius. Факт поимки полевой мыши в Норском заповеднике позволяет увеличить глубину проникновения полевой мыши в таежную зону по долине реки Селемджи на 80 км, тем самым расширив границы ареала полевой мыши в Амурской области. По результатам исследований рекомендовано включить в список фауны Норского заповедника новый вид — полевую мышь (Apodemus agrarius (Pallas, 1771).

Background. Previously, we have shown that the weekly load of rats with water-salt solutions of different chemical compositions causes both general and specific reactions of the parameters of metabolism. The purpose of this study is to identify under these conditions specific neuroendocrine and immune responses. Materials and methods. Experiment was performed on 58 healthy female Wistar rats 240-290 g divided into 6 groups. Animals of the first group remained intact, using tap water from drinking ad libitum. Instead, the other rats received the same tap water as well as waters Sophiya, Naftussya, Gertsa and its artificial salt analogue through the probe at a dose of 1,5 mL/100 g of body mass for 6 days. The day after the completion of the drinking course in all rats some neuroendocrine and immune parameters were registered. Results. The method of discriminant analysis revealed 29 parameters of the neuroendocrine-immune complex (10 of them reflect the neuroendocrine regulation, 4 thymus mass and thymocytogram elements, 5 elements of splenocytogram, 10 elements of immunocytogram and leukocytogram of blood and parameters of phagocytosis), according to which the reaction on various water-salt loads are identified with an accuracy of 98.3%. Conclusion. The peculiarities of the reactions of the parameters of the neuroendocrine-immune complex are due to the content of water in sulfate, bicarbonate and magnesium, as well as organic carbon and nitrogen.

Background. In the previous article we reported that screening registered parameters of water-salt, nitrous and lipid metabolism as well as the neuroendocrine-immune complex found 42 among them who in rats subjected to various water-salt loads, significantly different from that of intact rats, but on average the same group of animals that received liquids with different mineralization and chemical composition. The purpose of this article is to find out the features of the reactions of the parameters of metabolism. Materials and methods. Experiment was performed on 58 healthy female Wistar rats 240-290 g divided into 6 groups. Animals of the first group remained intact, using tap water from drinking ad libitum. Instead, the other rats received the same tap water as well as waters Sophiya, Naftussya, Gertsa and its artificial salt analogue through the probe at a dose of 1,5 mL/100 g of body mass for 6 days. The day after the completion of the drinking course in all rats the parameters of water-salt, nitrous and lipid metabolism were registered. Results. Found that 16 metabolic parameters the maximum deviates from the level of intact rats under the influence of the salt analogue of Gertsa water, a smaller, but tangible effect is made by the Gertsa native water, even less effective waters Sofiya and Naftussya, instead of ordinary water is almost ineffective in relation to these metabolic parameters. The other 19 parameters deviates to a maximum extent from the reference level after the use of water Naftussya, fresh water is less effective, whereas quasi-isotonic liquids are practically inactive for these parameters. The remaining 13 parameters in animals that use normal water, deviates from intact control to the same extent as in the previous pattern, which, apparently, is also due to the stressful effects of the load course. Both Naftussya and Gertsa water and its salt analogue prevent the stress deviations of these parameters. Instead, by consumption of water Sofiya stresses deviations of these parameters is reversed. The method of discriminant analysis revealed 33 variables (among them 8 refer to plasma/erythrocytes electrolytes, 7 to electrolytes of urine, to other metabolic parameters of plasma 5 and urine 9, as well as glomerular filtration, canalicular reabsorption, diurese and urine osmolarity), the totality of which the metabolic reactions to various water-salt loads are identified (recognized) with an accuracy of 98,3%. Conclusion. The features of the reactions of the parameters of metabolism are due to the content in waters NaCl, SO42- as well as organic carbon and nitrogen.

Background. This article begins with a series of articles on the effects on parameters of water-salt, nitrous and lipid metabolism, as well as the neuroendocrine-immune complex of mineral water, extracted from the bore located in the city Gertsa (Bukovyna, Ukraine). The chemical analysis prompted us to use waters Sophiya and Naftussya from spa Truskavets’ as a reference as well as an artificial salt analogue of Gertsa water, which contains no organic matter or trace elements. Materials and methods. Experiment was performed on 58 healthy female Wistar rats 240-290 g divided into 6 groups. Animals of the first group remained intact, using tap water from drinking ad libitum. Instead, the other rats received the same tap water as well as waters Sophiya, Naftussya, Gertsa and its artificial salt analogue through the probe at a dose of 1,5 mL/100 g of body mass for 6 days. The day after the completion of the drinking course in all rats the parameters of metabolism and neuroendocrine-immune complex were registered. Results. Screening registered parameters found 42 among them who in rats subjected to water-salt loads, significantly different from that of intact rats, but on average the same group of animals that received liquids with different mineralization and chemical composition. Conclusion. Takes place nonspecific (general) reaction neuroendocrine-immune complex and metabolism in water-salt load as such, regardless of the specific chemical composition of fluids applied.

Modernization of the system of state administration can allow us to coordinate and in due time fulfill proper functions. The article deals with modern technologies used in regional administration. Integration of these approaches and their upgrading could speed up the process of modernization of regional economy and its branches. The authors disclose the role of e-government and research different aspects of its impact on interconnected elements of regional economy, including those created by a common field for interaction of different target groups (bodies of state and municipal power, population, entrepreneurial structures).

The article deals with issues of managing projects connected with elimination of accumulated ecological damage with the help of tools of state-private partnership and safe removal of hard communal wastes within the frames of elimination of accumulated ecological damage. In order to attract investors on the basis of stimulating line in nature-use the authors put forward possible solution based on tools of state-private partnership, including management delegation, concession, etc. Special attention was paid to the mechanism of implementing the program aimed at elimination of accumulated ecological damage by selecting investment projects on safe removal of hard communal wastes, which could make implementation of the investment project more transparent and less risky. As a result a balance of interests between state, private structures and society in general could be provided.

Проблематика. Вплив кисню на електрохімічне формування поверхневих структур на частинках заліза недостатньо враховується в технології виробництва композитних електродів для термогальванічних джерел струму; розглядаються основні умови підвищення продуктивності. Мета дослідження. Мета роботи полягає в тому, щоб визначити електрохімічні умови формування оксидних шарів на поверхні композиційного електрода із залізного порошку за наявності кисню в нейтральних і основних середовищах. Методика реалізації. Для підвищення ефективності впливу кисню дослідження композитних електродів проводилося на відкритому повітрі та в інертній атмосфері, монтаж комірок із композитними електродами здійснювався на повітрі у двох варіантах: герметичному і перфорованому. Електрохімічні дослідження проводилися на електрохімічному модулі Autolab 30 PGSTAT301N Metrohm Autolab із використанням 3-електродних комірок. Мікротекстуру залізного порошку під час окисно-відновних реакцій досліджували з використанням скануючого електронного мікроскопа з високою роздільною здатністю Mira 3 FESEM Tescan USA Inc. на катоді з польовою емісією при SEM HV-10 кеВ і автоматичним вимірюванням на зображенні. Аналітичний режим скануючого мікроскопа використовувався для визначення розподілу компонентів поверхні та ступеня їх окиснення. Результати дослідження. Встановлено, що за низького парціального тиску кисню в діапазоні потенціалів від - 0,23­ до - 0,88 В поверхнева структура заліза має дві стадії організації: 1 – мозаїчна стадія із частковим покриттям поверхні заліза FeO і Fe2O3; 2 – перетворення мозаїчної структури на структуру ядро–оболонка. За високого парціального тиску кисню і катодного потенціалу > - 0,88 В на поверхні структури частинок заліза утворилися товсті шари оксиду заліза. Таким чином, парціальний тиск кисню грає основну роль в електрохімічному формуванні наношарів на поверхні частинок заліза і реалізує термоелектрохімічну активність композитних електродів. Висновки. У ході дослідження було встановлено, що термоелектричні параметри електрода на основі порошкового заліза є функціями pH середовища і вмісту кисню. У нейтральному середовищі електроди втрачають здатність до оборотних процесів, необхідних для формування термогальванічних властивостей. Здатність порошкового залізо-композитного електрода до термогальванічного елемента формується в лужному середовищі.

Variability of temperature and salinity in the 0-1000-m layer of the North-West Pacific is analyzed on the data of shipboard oceanographic observations obtained in 1950-2014. Significant decadal changes of these parameters are revealed at the depth of 300-600 m that exceeds the depth of seasonal fluctuations, with the highest rate in the Subarctic frontal zone. The heat content was the highest in the 1960-1974, then decreased in the 1975-1999, increased again in the 2000-2014, and the next phase of thermal «discharge» may begin supposedly in 5-6 years. Mechanisms of such climate changes are discussed. Similar changes are observed in different regions of the World Ocean that means that it is a global-scale phenomenon. These climate changes of water temperature in the subsurface layer of the ocean and air temperature over the continent have opposite directions that denotes the auto-oscillation in the open non-linear system «ocean-atmosphere-continent» as their main mechanism. The previous period of the water thermal discharge was conditioned by active winter center of low atmospheric pressure - Aleutian Low. It was accompanied by strengthening of the East-Kamchatka Current and Oyashio Current and high abundance of japanese sardine. The modern period of warming from the beginning of the 21st century is distinguished by negative values of PDO index, observed since 1998. However, PDO is positive again since January 2014, though stability of this change is not clear yet. On the other hand, winter SST in the spawning grounds of japanese sardine, both in the Japan Sea and North-West Pacific, gradually decreased after the maximum in the 1998-2000 and reached negative anomalies in the areas at Japan in 2011-2015 that was favorable for its reproduction. The sardine biomass was gradually increased, too, in particularly in the 2010-2012, and its migration to the Russian EEZ became more active, up to 0.7 million tons in the South-Kuril area in 2015.

Active trade balance was one of the most important factors of financial policy of the Kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovenes. It was supposed to contribute to the stability of the domestic currency. This intention could not be achived until 1924 since the recovery of the economy of the Kingdom from the great casualties and material hardship in the First World War. In following years, the foreign trade balance was active, except in exceptional drought years of 1927 and 1928. The main items of export were agricultural products alongside with raw materials and semi-finished products. On the other hand, the main items of imports were manufactured goods, materials for the textile industry, different machinery and tools. Great importance for the import into the Kingdom of SHS were on its neighbours. In 1929 they accounted around 38.2% of import, while as the destination of the Yugoslav exports were absolutely dominant with 69.16%. The discrepancy between foreign trade and foreign policy of the Kingdom of SHS was obvious. Although the main Yugoslav ally at the time, France has participated in trade with only a few percent. It was similar practice with another Great War ally: Great Britain. Wider economic relations with Czechoslovakia were hindered by lack of Czech interest to purchase goods from the Kingdom of SHS. On the other hand, the most important partners were Italy, which showed huge belligerence against new Yugoslavian state, and have a strained political relations with Kingdom of SHS throughout the 1920s and Austria and Germany, both bitter enemies form the First World War.

Elaborated is a technique taking into account the friction at strain-energy method applied to conductor-and-support cable system stiffness properties assessment serving to increase the accuracy of their distorted state mechanical model. For that purpose those components’ specific deformation has been identified with respective elements, which represent experimental factors taking into account the friction, introduced into geometrical deformation equations. The suggested specific deformations’ expressions include friction factors for the basic loading diagram of the conductor-and-support cables and he hoist cables that represents a valuable contribution to structural mechanics of the twisted wire products. This research results have significant practical value due to increased accuracy and reliability of the strength calculations therefore serving to a real economic effect.

Theoretical background for calculation of k-h-v type cycloid reducers was developed relatively long ago. However, recently the matters of cycloid reducer design again attracted heightened attention. The reason for that is that such devices are used in many complex engineering systems, particularly, in mechatronic and robotics systems. The development of advanced technological capabilities for manufacturing of such reducers today gives the possibility for implementation of essential features of such devices: high efficiency, high gear ratio, kinematic accuracy and smooth motion. The presence of an adequate mathematical model gives the possibility for adjusting kinematic accuracy of the reducer by rational selection of manufacturing tolerances for its parts. This makes it possible to automate the design process for cycloid reducers with account of various factors including technological ones. A mathematical model and mathematical technique have been developed giving the possibility for modeling the kinematic error of the reducer with account of multiple factors, including manufacturing errors. The errors are considered in the way convenient for prediction of kinematic accuracy early at the manufacturing stage according to the results of reducer parts measurement on coordinate measuring machines. During the modeling, the wheel manufacturing errors are determined by the eccentricity and radius deviation of the pin tooth centers circle, and the deviation between the pin tooth axes positions and the centers circle. The satellite manufacturing errors are determined by the satellite eccentricity deviation and the satellite rim eccentricity. Due to the collinearity, the pin tooth and pin tooth hole diameter errors and the satellite tooth profile errors for a designated contact point are integrated into one deviation. Software implementation of the model makes it possible to estimate the pointed errors influence on satellite rotation angle error and reasonable selection of accuracy parameters for technological processes related to reducer parts manufacture. Additionally, it gives the possibility for estimation of the reducer kinematic error according to measurements by means of a coordinate measuring machine and diagnostics of reducer parts manufacturing errors by means of its kinematogram analysis. The model is implemented as a program developed in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 environment. Obtained results have found their application in CAD of cycloid reducers.

In the context of climate change and excessive anthropogenic pressure, the adverse effects of pests in agrocenoses are increasing, leading to considerable losses of crop production and economic damages. During the growing season, it is necessary to conduct phytosanitary monitoring to identify and control the number, spread, and intensity of pests, followed by determining the level of danger and developing relevant plant protection measures. For this, from 2008 to 2022, the species composition of pests in aubergine plantations in open ground conditions in the central part of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine was studied. The study was conducted using conventional entomological methods. In aubergine plantations, 73 species of phytophagous insects from 25 families of 8 orders were found, which accounted for 93% of the pest structure, 2 species of mites (3%), 2 species of nematodes (3%), and one species of slugs (1%). The species diversity of insect phytophages was represented by insects from the orders: Coleoptera (20 species from 6 families), Lepidoptera (19 species from 5 families), Homoptera (14 species from 3 families), Diptera (9 species from 4 families), Orthoptera (5 species from 4 families), Thysanoptera (3 species from 1 family), Hemiptera (2 species from 1 family), Hymenoptera (1 species from 1 family). Among the ticks, the greatest damage was caused by the red spider mite (Tetranychus urticae Koch.), which on average was inhabiting 10-50% of the area. The average number of Tetranychus urticae Koch. was 8.5 specimens/plant, with up to 35-44% damage, which exceeded the EWP by 3.5-4.4 times. The colonisation of aubergine areas by naked slugs was not significant (up to 12%), but plant damage reached 10-14%. Among the insect phytophages, the largest area of plantations was infested with the Colorado potato beetle, larvae of the maybeetle, and gnawing scoops, which averaged 35-100%. The most harmful during the growing season were the Colorado potato beetle and the European mole cricket

The study of the main patterns of distribution of microorganisms that synthesise melanins, which are precursors and components of humus molecules in agrocenosis soils is an urgent scientific task. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of agrochemical factors on the number of melanin-synthesising microbial species and bacteria in grey forest soil. Microbiological, laboratory and analytical, and statistical methods were employed in the study. It was found for the first time that the number of melanin-synthesising micromycetes is minimal in the soil of the variant without fertilisers, liming with one dose according to hydrolytic acidity contributes to an increase in their number by 86.8%, application of mineral fertilisers in a dose of N30Р30К45 – 2.0 times, compatible use of lime and mineral fertilisers – 2.94 times. A 1.5-fold increase in the dose of mineral fertilisers leads to a 2.54-fold increase in the number of colony-forming units (CFU) of melanin-synthesising microbial species compared to a single dose of fertilisers, and a 2.0-2.62-fold increase in the dose of fertilisers, which coincides with the results of the analysis of the humus content in the soil of these variants – it exceeds the humus content in the variant with a single dose of fertilisers by 26.5% and 16.3%, respectively (correlation coefficient is 0.811). The number of melanin-synthesising bacteria in grey forest soil is 2-3 orders of magnitude higher than the number of melanin-synthesising micromycetes. However, the patterns of influence of anthropogenic factors on their number coincide with those established for micromycetes: liming with one dose of hydrolytic acidity leads to an increase in the number of melanin-synthesizing bacteria by 26.1%, application of mineral fertilizers in a dose of N30Р30К45 – 2.03 times, combined use of lime and mineral fertilisers – 2.48 times. A 1.5-fold increase in the dose of mineral fertilisers leads to a 5.8-fold increase in the number of melanin-synthesising bacteria compared to a single dose of fertiliser, while a 2.0-fold increase in the dose of fertiliser leads to a 13.3-fold increase, respectively. The correlation coefficient between the number of melanin-synthesising bacteria and the humus content in the soil is 0.417. The findings of the presented research can be used to develop recommendations for measures to increase the humus content of agricultural soils
