The developed methodology for use the satellite data and GIS technologies made it possible to assess the distribution of the mined out areas within the Vitebsk region, and to calculate the specific density of quarries and peatlands on territory. The combined use of density and areal characteristics of mine workings allowed creating the most objective cartographic model of the existing quarry load in the region under study. Its analysis showed that areas with high quarry load in geological and geomorphological terms are mainly related to large peat massifs within gently undulating moraine and water-glacial plains and lowlands of the Poozerskiy age of the Late Pleistocene. Territories with an average quarry load are also confined to large peatlands, with a few exceptions, where the shallow Upper Devonian dolomites and limestones, developed by OJSC Dolomite, occur. Low quarry load is observed throughout the entire territory of the Vitebsk region, typically for areas of small-area peat mining, as well as for sand, clay and sand-gravel quarries, which are relatively small, and are located within various genetic types of relief.

The article deals with the influence of the initial bitumen penetration grade and different con-centrations of the mineral filler on the elasticity of the polymer-modified bitumen (PMB) with 3 and 6 % of SBS type polymer. The dependences of elasticity of the PMB on the test conditions – such as the temperature and the stress state level are shown additionally.

The article substantiates the hypothesis of conformity of organic agriculture proliferation in Russia and key provisions of Hagerstrand theory of innovation diffusion. To verify the hypothesis stages of innovation spacial diffusion and organic agriculture in Russia were compared. This comparison made it possible to identify key stages of organic sector location, subdivide organic product producers into innovators and followers and find their specialization and efficiency of work. Findings of the research showed conformity of first 2 stages of organic agriculture diffusion and stages of Hagerstrand theory: 1) emergence of innovators around cities and agglomerations with high level of innovation potential and 2) proliferation of followers. At the 1st stage we could see concentration of innovators in the central part of the country and in west Siberia. The 2nd stage is connected with turning-up of followers, who are mainly located in regions adjoining those of innovators and in the south of the country. Principle kinds of activity of those organizations that were certified by Ogranic standards were studied, they: 1) grow and process agricultural crops; 2) conduct mixed agriculture; 3) produce hot drinks; 4) collect wild fruits and berries; 5) produce meat and milk. Producers of plant-growing produce orient to home and foreign markets. Producers of meat, milk and hot drinks orient to home market. Organizations with the highest profitability of produce being sold specialize in mixed agriculture and collecting of wild fruits and berries. The max figures of sale profitability by net profit and asset profitability by net profit are typical of organizations dealing with collecting of wild fruits and berries. In the short run followers are not observed. Taking into account the specific features of spacial diffusion of organic agriculture that were identified, transition to the 3rd stage (consolidation) in Hagerstand theory can be feasible in the long-term period and will be affected by state policy.

Aim – to develop an applied prognostic calculator for the rate of progression of CKD in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, which makes it possible to identify a group of high rate of GFR reduction in conditions of routine outpatient admission. Material and methods. 69 clinical indicators were studied, the interrelationships and significance of differences in parameters in the groups identified according to the original diagnostic parameter, the glomerular filtration rate reduction index with a threshold value of 3.83 ml/min/1.73 m2 per year, above which the rate of progression of CKD was considered high. Results. By using regression analysis, significant factors for the prognostic calculator were identified: the duration of diabetes and insulin therapy, concomitant diagnosis of obesity, pulse in the ankle artery, severe stage of polyneuropathy, risk group IV of hypertension, treatment with sulfonylureas, the number of antihypertensive drugs taken. When evaluating the information capacity and predictive ability of the calculator, the area under the AUC ROC curve was 0.89 (0.80; 0.99) p 0.001, which characterizes the quality of the diagnostic technique as high. Conclusion. The presented calculator gives the doctor the opportunity to identify a group of patients with the risk of rapid progression of CKD directly on an outpatient basis.

Background. Small cell lung cancer (SCLC), predominantly due to smoking, is a highly differentiated, rapidly growing epithelial cell carcinoma of high malignancy originating from bronchial neuroendocrine cells. Almost 70% of SCLC patients have metastases at the time of diagnosis, which requires the use of drug therapies, including immunotherapy. Aim. To evaluate the efficacy and safety of immune checkpoint inhibitors in patients with small cell lung cancer. Materials and methods. One hundred and twenty one patients (90 men and 31 women) aged 44 to 84 years were included in the retrospective multicentre non-randomised study. The majority (90.9%) of patients were treated in the 1st line of therapy. IT were administered in the 2nd line and subsequent lines of treatment in 9.1% of patients. Weakened (ECOG 2–3) state at the time of treatment initiation was noted in 30 (24.8%) patients. Results. Progression-free survival in patients with SCLC receiving 1st-line treatment was 5.82 (95% CI 3.92–7.72) months, and 2nd-line and beyond was 6.21 (95% CI 0.76–11.66) months. Survival in patients with small-cell lung cancer receiving 1st-line IT was 8.0 (95% CI 6.18–9.81) months, and 2nd-line or longer was 11.3 months (95% CI 4.31–18.29) months (p=0.108). Objective response was achieved in 43 (35.5%) patients, of whom 38 (34.5%) were on first-line IT and 5 (45.5%) patients were on 2nd or more. iAEs grade 3–4 was observed in only 18 (14.9%) patients. Conclusion. Immunotherapy for SCLC allows achieving high rates of objective response and disease control. This method of treatment is characterized by insignificant number of grade 3–4 immune-mediated adverse events, which indicates an acceptable safety profile.

Background. The clinical course of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer is characterized by a tendency to develop local recurrences and the ability to tumor progression. The most effective method of preventing disease progression after transurethral resection of the bladder in patients of intermediate and high-risk groups is intravesical therapy with BCG antitumor vaccine containing attenuated Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Taking into account the increasing incidence non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer in Moscow, the organization of adequate use of BCG vaccine in clinical practice requires the involvement of significant organizational and human resources. Aim. To develop and validate an organizational model for the delivery of BCG therapy for non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer at an outpatient cancer care center using hospital-substitution technologies. Materials and methods. In the period from June 2023 to May 2024, BCG therapy has been performed in Oncology Center №1 of Yudin Moscow City Hospital in 180 patients with verified non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer of intermediate and high-risk groups. Results. The study revealed a trend towards an increase in the absolute number of early bladder cancer in Moscow in the period 2018–2023. According to clinical guidelines, treatment of patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer includes determination of the risk of recurrence and tumor progression with subsequent formation of indications for intravesical BCG therapy. The regimen of administration depending on the risk of recurrence includes 18–42 instillations for 12–36 months after transurethral resection of the bladder with follow-up examinations every three months. The procedure of intravesical BCG therapy takes 1–2 hours and does not require hospitalization. An organizational model of treatment an outpatient cancer care center based on various forms of hospital-substitution technologies is presented. Conclusion. Intravesical BCG therapy is a highly demanded method for the treatment of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. This method can be widely used in outpatient settings through the use of hospital-substitution technologies.

The article presents the results of a study of the elemental composition, surface morphology, optical and electronic properties of Mg2Si thin films formed on Si (111). Both samples containing films were formed in layers by the method of reactive epitaxy, but at different heating temperatures of the substrates. The formed films consisting of alternating layers of Mg and Si at a ratio of 3:1, according to electron Auger spectroscopy, contain Mg and Si atoms in the associated layers. The Raman light scattering method established the presence of peaks on the graphs of samples at a shift of 258 and 348cm-1 belonging to Mg2Si. Infrared spectroscopy data also indicate the presence of magnesium silicide in the films. The thickness of Mg2Si films was estimated from the data of the known dependence of the amplitude of absorption peaks at 272 cm-1 on the absorption coefficient, which gave the values of the thicknesses of the grown films. Based on the results of the study of samples in the infrared-ultraviolet range and on the basis of geometric calculations, the width of the Mg2Si band gap was determined.

Aim: to study the features of thrombotic complications in cancer patients during COVID-19 infection, and identify the most significant diagnostic and prognostic criteria.Materials and Methods. Within the framework of cohort non-randomized study, there were analyzed the course of coronavirus infection in 72 hospitalized patients with uterine cancer (n = 22), cervical cancer (n = 19), ovarian cancer (n = 24) as well as vaginal and vulvar cancer (n = 7). All patients hospitalized for COVID-19 were examined and treated in accordance with the Interim guidelines “Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19)” effective at the time of therapy. Additionally, on days 3–7 after hospitalization, a blood test was performed once to determine the level of metalloproteinase ADAMTS-13 (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type 1 motif, member 13), ADAMTS-13 activity, ADAMTS-13 inhibitor and von Willebrand factor (vWF) level.Results. It was shown that the average age of the patients was 56.96 ± 7.55 years, the length of hospitalization ranged from 7 to 19 (13.0 ± 3.79) days. The disease severity was assessed by the degree of lung tissue damage based on computed tomography (CT), respiratory failure and development of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS). During hospitalization, CT-2 was detected in 46 (63.9 %) patients, CT-3 – in 26 (36.1 %) patients; 37 (51.4 %) patients were transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU). Clinically significant deep vein thrombosis (DVT) was diagnosed in 9 (12.5 %) patients, and pulmonary embolism (PE) – in 4 (5.6 %) patients. Of these, 6 cases of DVT and 3 cases of PE were fatal. A total of 14 (19.44 %) patients deceased due to developing acute cardiopulmonary failure. A vWF/ADAMTS-13 ratio greater than 2.1 was found in all ICU patients. Despite anticoagulant therapy, patients with DVT and PE had this ratio higher than 3.3 (4.00 ± 0.48), whereas in all 14 deceased patients it exceeded 2.98.Conclusion. Venous thromboembolism, including PE and DVT, has been identified as а serious complication of COVID-19. An opportunity to predict them early is of special importance because they may lead to serious complications such as disseminated intravascular coagulation, SIRS, cardiopulmonary failure, and death. In patients suffering from cancer infected with COVID-19, not only a decline in ADAMTS-13 activity and level was detected, but also a parallel increase in vWF level. A vWF/ADAMTS-13 ratio may be an early indicator of COVID-19 severity in such patients: a vWF/ADAMTS-13 ratio exceeding 2.1 was common for all ICU patients. Hence, it evidences about a potential for using this parameter to early identify such risk patients who may require more intensive care and medical intervention.

Introduction. Numerous studies have suggested that lower urinary tract infections may be involved in the development of overactive bladder (OAB) in patients who are resistant to standard treatment. In these cases, treatment targeting all stages of disease progression could be beneficial.Objective. To evaluate the efficacy of Vesusten® in management of OAB in women with chronic recurrent cystitis.Materials & methods. The study involved 40 patients diagnosed with OAB and chronic recurrent cystitis. All patients received Vesusten® as therapy for OAB. They received 5 mg of the medication intramuscularly three times per week for a total of 10 doses. The study included three stages: a screening period lasting up to 14 days; the stage for assessing the effectiveness of therapy (42 days from the start of therapy, including the therapy period + further follow-up after the end of therapy); follow-up period — 180 days + 14 days from completion of treatment.Results. It was revealed Vesusten® clinical effectiveness on the severity of OAB symptoms and the quality of life of patients. hree weeks after the end of treatment, there was a statistically significant decrease in the severity of OAB symptoms on the Patient Perception Index of Urgency and Symptoms (PPIUS) (2.2 ± 1.0 vs 0.95 ± 1.0 points) and TUFS (28.4 ± 11.6 vs 5. 1 ± 6.4 points), a decrease in the number of urinations during the day (11.5 ± 2.2 vs 8.8 ± 2.7 episodes) and at night (3.5 ± 1.8 vs 1.4 ± 1.5 episodes) time (p < 0.001). The nighttime urination frequency decreased by more than 2.5 times, while the proportion of patients who did not wake up at night for urination increased from 10 % to 35%. Evaluation of the Overactive Bladder Questionnaire (OAB-Q) after the completion of treatment compared with the initial data showed a statistically significant improvement in quality of life related to the severity of OAB symptoms (24.8 ± 7.5 vs 15.7 + 6.4 points; p < 0.001), and with general health status (74.0 ± 31.7 vs 57.6 ± 22.1 points; p = 0.0087). The average duration of the relapse-free period, including the course of Vesusten® treatment and the follow-up period, significantly increased to 42.90 ± 9.64 weeks in comparison with the duration of the relapse-free period before patients’ inclusion in the study — 17.96 ± 7.75 weeks (p < 0.001). During the clinical study, eight women experienced exacerbations of chronic cystitis (20%).Conclusion. Study results suggest that the drug Vesusten® may be an effective treatment for OAB in combination with chronic recurrent cystitis. Based on our findings, we believe that Vesusten® can be considered as a potential treatment option for patients with chronic cystitis.

The mineragenic zoning of Quaternary deposits of the Vitebsk region territory is under consideration based of a generalization of various geological information using cartographic modeling. Mineragenic areas and regions are identified. Their mineragenic potential has been assessed.

On the example of an oil deposit of the Vereisk age which is one of the deposits in the Volga-Urals, lithotypes of rocks are distinguished, characterized by a fundamentally different structure of the void space. For selected lithotypes experiments were carried out on core samples with a change in the stress state of rocks under conditions of volumetric (pseudo-triaxial) compression. The pressure created in the experiments is identified with the development of processes at a distance from the epicenter of the hydraulic fractures appearance. Core samples were studied before and after exposure by non-destructive testing methods. The study of the sample structures by standard and tomographic methods did not allow us to establish significant changes during loading of the samples. At the same time, some increase in rock permeability was established in experiments. With this in mind, the samples were studied according to a technique specially developed by the authors using electron microscopy. The use of microscopic studies made it possible to obtain quantitative information about the change in the void space at a level inaccessible to X-ray tomography. As a result, it was found that both for potential reservoirs and for impermeable rocks, there is an increase in the length and opening of preexisting fractures, which can be considered as the formation of additional effective fluid filtration channels. The experiments performed have changed the idea of the process of hydraulic fracture development and can be used in geological and technological calculations.

Determination of the current reservoir pressure in oil production wells selection zones is an urgent task of field development monitoring. The main method for its determination is hydrodynamic studies under unsteady conditions. At the same time, the process of restoring bottomhole pressure to the value of reservoir pressure often lasts a significant period of time, which leads to long downtime of the fund and significant shortfalls in oil production. In addition, it seems rather difficult to compare reservoir pressures with each other in the wells due to the different timing of the studies, since it is impossible to simultaneously stop the entire fund for measuring the reservoir pressure in the field. The article proposes a new method for determining the current reservoir pressure in the extraction zones, based on the construction of multidimensional mathematical models using the data of geological and technological development indicators. As the initial data, the values of reservoir pressure, determined during processing of the materials of hydrodynamic studies of wells, as well as a set of geological and technological indicators, probably affecting its value, were used (initial reservoir pressure for each well, the duration of its operation at the time of study, liquid rate, bottomhole pressure, the initial permeability and the current collector in the drainage area, GOR accumulated values oil, and liquid water, and skin factor). In the course of the research, several variants of statistical modeling were used, in the process of which the regularities of the reservoir pressure behavior during the development of reserves were established, individual for the object of development. The obtained models are characterized by a high degree of reliability and make it possible to determine the desired value with an error of no more than 1.0 MPa.

In this review (Part 2), we describe the structural features and properties of the most studied Viperidae snake venom phospholipases A2 . Various effects of these enzymes on blood cells (erythrocytes, leukocytes and platelets), on blood coagulation and platelet aggregation are also analyzed in details. Possible areas and ways of application of these enzymes in fundamental and practical medicine are discussed.

The article presents a scientometric analysis of publications on citizen science, i.e., conducted with the participation of non-professional scientists, posted on the portal of the journal Nature, in order to identify the main directions and thematic trends in the field of citizen science over the last 5 years. The article identifies the key thematic clusters to which the reviewed publications belong, and analyses the thematic trends in each of the presented clusters. The search was carried out in English among the publications posted on the portal in the period from 2019 to 2023. The result is presented using computer visualisation and a table of key topics of the reviewed publications; in the future it is planned to expand the study and build a thematic map and scheme of key trends both abroad and in Russia. The analysis shows that the key topics in which volunteer researchers have been involved over the last 5 years have been environmental protection and conservation, publications on biodiversity and climate change, and data analysis in ecology. The authors note a widespread and growing interest in finding scientific volunteers to conduct research, as well as the growing role of volunteer researchers. The participation of non-professional scientists encourages a shift towards interdisciplinary research and promotes the use of different research methodologies. There are trends in the transformation of the role of volunteer researchers from the status of ordinary field researchers to full-fledged participants in research work.

Suicide is a major medical and social concern for law enforcement, a contemporary army included, not only in Russia but abroad as well. In recent years, frequency of suicides and suicidal attempts has been growing among law enforcement officials (LEOs), military personnel included. Therefore, it seems relevant to develop a model for predicting suicide risk. In this study, our aim was to develop a model for predicting suicide risk in LEOs based on express testing results. Our research object was represented by LEOs (n = 591), their average age being 23.71 ± 1.12 years. To assess suicide risk, we used a questionnaire for suicide risk assessment ‘SSR-2’, which is a part of DAP-2 methodology for deviant behavior research, and a clinical-psychopathological method. LEOs’ personality characteristics and their current psychophysiological state were identified by using vibration imaging, a technology for recording and mathematically analyzing micro-vibrations of the head and face. It has certain advantages over its analogues. We determined psychophysiological characteristics, basic abilities (types of Gardner’s multiple intelligence) and moral qualities that differed in people with elevated suicide risk against the control. We identified a difference between unconscious reactions of the examined people to stimuli and declared (conscious) ones, which indicates that LEOs tend to hide any signs of suicidal behavior in them. A mathematical model was built for predicting suicide risk: we developed an integral suicide risk assessment and created a probabilistic nomogram that makes it possible to establish likelihood of suicidal behavior signs with accuracy above 98 % relying on results obtained by a 5-minute express test. Use of this predictive model helps identify those people among personnel who should undergo a profound check-up by a psychological support team. Our research results can serve as a basis for creating an objective concept for diagnostics of suicide risk factors in LEOs.

he new coronavirus infection, general uncertainty and constant variability of the post-pandemic world influenced transformations in the understanding of age and aging, as well as the emergence of new perspectives in aging research and understanding of this process in the social sciences. Defining age boundaries, understanding the activities of elderly people in the post-pandemic reality and the prospects for researching such activities are important issues for the domestic and foreign scientific community. The article examines the latest publications on the sociology of aging, social policy, health of elderly people and their necessary activities. In total, the author analyzes 1,000 publications released in 2022 and 2023 and devoted to the peculiarities of elderly people’s life after the pandemic. The author uncovers important factors for better integration of elderly people into social life and overcoming the problems caused by the pandemic: activating the social life of elderly people; developing the integration of elderly people into social life; understanding the employment of elderly people as a multi-vector direction, which may include hobbies and their monetization, non-permanent employment or employment for pleasure and communication.

Purpose of the study. Analytical review and analysis of available literature on texture analysis of computed tomgraphy (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in noninvasive diagnosis of ICC and correlation with molecular genetic features and tumor immunophenotype.Materials and methods. The scientific publications and clinical guidelines in the information- analytical systems PubMed, Scopus for 2012–2022 were carried out using the keywords: "mri", "radiomics", "texture analysis", "radiogenomics", "intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma", "molecular". 49 articles were selected for analysis after excluding studies dealing with technical aspects of radiomics and describing individual clinical observations.Results. The presented review demonstrated the broad possibilities and prospects of application of CT and MRI texture analysis in the study of cholangiocellular cancer, including the first results in the study of molecular features (signatures) of this tumor. Correlation of texture features with the expression of immunotherapy target genes KRAS/NRAS/BRAF as well as IDH1/2 mutation was shown. Texture scores were the predominant independent predictor of microvascular invasion, which was a major independent risk factor for postoperative recurrence.Conclusion. The use of texture analysis undoubtedly demonstrates promising possibilities both in noninvasive assessment of the HCC histological differentiation grade, as well as in differential diagnosis with hepatocellular carcinoma, metastases, and requires further study for systematization and standardization of the obtained data.

Introduction More than 80% of injuries to the acetabulum involve its posterior parts or injuries associated with their destruction. Most poor outcomes of surgical treatment of acetabular fractures manifest themselves in the first 24 months. Surgeons consider accurate anatomical reduction of fragments to be the main predictor of good results. A number of researchers showed good results of its surgical treatment, including those with inaccurate reduction. Poor results also occur in patients with no risk factors and ideal reduction. Thus, inaccurate reduction does not always lead to poor results; the reasons for positive results have not been discussed. Purpose To evaluate the effect of maintaining hip joint isometry in surgical approach on the outcome of reconstructive operations in the treatment of traumatic destruction of the posterior parts of the acetabulum. Materials and methods From 2005 to 2021, surgeons from the Moscow Regional Research and Clinical Institute performed 120 reconstructive operations on 120 patients with fractures of the posterior structures of the acetabulum. Of these, 84 patients followed the recommended monitoring regimen, completed the Harris Questionnaire, and had radiographs taken within the specified time frame. From the 84 patients, two groups of 42 patients each were formed that differed in the method of treating the external rotators. Results During two years of follow-up after reconstructive surgery on the acetabulum, clinical indications for hip replacement were identified or hip replacement was performed in 5 patients in the first group and in 25 patients in the second (11.9 and 59.5%, respectively). Discussion Accurate reduction of fragments is considered to be the main condition for good results after reconstructive operations for fractures of the posterior part of the acetabulum. Maintaining the isometry in the joint, namely, cutting off and then reinserting external rotators while preserving the attachment sites and length of the muscles, can have a significant impact on the outcome of reconstructive operations for traumatic injuries of the posterior parts of the acetabulum due to maintaining isometry of the hip joint. It seems that the preservation of force vectors centering the femoral head in the acetabulum causes the growth of ossification that forms secondary congruence. Conclusions Maintaining hip joint isometry in surgical treatment of fractures of the posterior acetabulum by changing the method of treating the external rotators provides significantly better clinical outcomes.

Foreign practice of oil production in high-water-cut conditions suggests using the technology of injection of preformed particle gel (PPG) suspension into injection wells. After swelling, the polymer particles become elastic and are able to penetrate through highly permeable watered intervals into the remote reservoir zone, forming a polymer “plug”. Thus far, the domestic experience of application of this technology boiled down to testing foreign compounds. We have looked into the possibilities of PPG technology application in geological and technological conditions of high-water-cut fields of Perm Krai. The paper proposes PPG reagents effective in low-temperature reservoirs (20-35 °С) and at relatively high salinity of formation water (more than 200 g/l). The world experience of PPG technology application was analyzed to identify the principal scheme of reagent injection, to establish variants of sequence of injection of PPG particles of different sizes, as well as the possibility of regulating the morphological characteristics of polymer gel particles during synthesis depending on the porosity and permeability of the reservoir. A prerequisite for the technology is the ability to remove PPG particles after treatment from the bottom-hole zone of the formation; for this purpose, tests were carried out on a breaker compound based on sodium persulfate with synergizing additives. PPG technology is effective in reservoirs with high permeability heterogeneity. Two types of high-water-cut production facilities potentially promising for PPG realization have been identified for oil fields of Perm Krai. The first type includes carbonate Tournaisian-Famennian reservoirs with pronounced macrofracturing, in which the PPGs are used for colmatation of flushed large fractures. The second type is terrigenous Visean deposits with increased oil viscosity from 5 to 100 mPa∙s and high permeability of reservoirs (> 0.5 μm2). For both types of reservoirs, areas have been selected that are promising for the implementation of PPG technology.

BACKGROUND: Cognitive impulsivity manifesting in impaired inhibitory control and decision-making impulsivity is observed both in alcohol-dependent and substance-dependent individuals and may affect the ability to maintain long-term (persistent) remission. AIM: To evaluate the effects of cognitive parameters of impulsivity on the duration of remission in alcohol-dependent patients. METHODS: The study included 83 patients with alcohol dependence and 51 mentally healthy study subjects as the control group. The distribution of patients by duration of remission was based on the DSM-5 criteria. Patients were divided into two groups according to the duration of their most recent remission: patients with early remission (n=48) and patients with sustained remission (n=35). Impulsivity was assessed using the Go/No-Go task, which included a response inhibition component (inhibitory control). Choice impulsivity was assessed using two cognitive tests that encompass its separate components: decision-making under risk (Cambridge Gambling Task, CGT), and decision making under uncertainty (Iowa Gambling Task, IGT). RESULTS: The study groups (patients and the controls) differed significantly in all domains of impulsivity: decision making under risk [GT: decision making quality (H(2, N=134)=30.233, p 0.001) and decision-making time (H(2, N=134)=18.433, p 0.001)] and decision making under uncertainty [IGT: selecting cards from “losing” decks (H(2, N=134)=9.291, p=0.009)]. The group of patients with sustained alcohol remission was characterized by longer decision times in CGT compared to the group of patients with early remission (z=2.398, p=0.049). Decision quality in CGT (z=0.673, p=0.999) and IGT scores (z=1.202, p=0.687) were not statistically significantly different between the groups of patients with sustained and early remission from alcohol dependence. The assessment of impulsive actions showed that the study groups were significantly different in terms of their ability to suppress their dominant behavioral response when performing the GNG task [false presses when seeing the “No-Go” signal (H(2, N=134)=28.851, p 0.001)]. The group of patients in sustained remission from alcohol dependence was characterized by better suppression of the behavioral response to the “No-Go” signal relative to the patients in early remission [H(2, N=134)=2.743, p=0.044)]. The regression analysis showed that the decision-making quality (t=2.507, р=0.049) and decision-making time (t=3.237, р=0.031) and the number of false presses when seeing the “No-Go” signal in the GNC task had a statistically significant impact on the duration of remission (t=3.091, р=0.043). CONCLUSION: The results of this study indicate that impaired decision-making processes and the ability to inhibit the dominant behavioral response have a significant impact on the ability of alcohol-dependent patients to maintain long-term remission.

The Upper Pechora Basin is located in the north of the Pre-Ural foredeep. The structure of the upper horizons of the sedimentary cover is well studied, but there is a poor information about deeply buried sediments confined to the eastern side of the depression. Therefore, modeling of the formation of oil and gas potential of great depths is of interest. In this paper, the problem is solved by applying probabilistic and statistical methods. The values of the total generation potential, the concentration of organic carbon, the rate of burial, the depth and the thickness of the layers were used for the analysis. In addition, since the Upper Pechora Basin is characterized by a sharply asymmetric structure, it was divided into two tectonic zones: the western (outer slope) and the eastern (inner slope). As a result, fundamental differences have been established in the conditions of generation potential formation for the studied types of organic matter and tectonic zones. Comparison of the average values of generation potential and the factors influencing its formation showed the presence of statistical differences between the types of kerogen in the deeply buried sediments of the Upper Pechora Basin, as well as between tectonic zones. Correlation analysis has determined that both positive and negative relationships with varying degrees of closeness are observed between the studied indicators. Using linear discriminant analysis, it was determined that sapropel and humus organic matter are separated quite clearly, and the mixed type practically does not stand out according to the specified characteristics, it was also revealed that the separation occurs on a tectonic basis. A step-by-step regression analysis for each of the parameters under consideration, carried out for these types of kerogen separately, confirmed a significant difference in the accumulation processes of sapropel and humus types of kerogen, as well as the western and outer sides of the depression. Thus, the conducted probabilistic and statistical analysis showed the regulatory role of tectonic factors in the processes of generation potential formation.

Radical surgical intervention, chemoradiotherapy and immune therapy implicated for patients with cervical cancer (CC) can result in significant morphofunctional, psychological, sexual disorders and social maladjustment. To optimize treatment and rehabilitation for CC patients, a routing approach has been established. This approach involves the patient's journey during diagnosis and treatment with well-defined timed stages. Additionally, a rehabilitation program with lifelong follow-up has been implemented. Prior to commencing therapy, undertaking rehabilitation after oncogynecological treatment during the stage spanning from diagnosis to therapy initiation contributes to enhancing the quality of life (QoL) for CC patients.

The study of health cultures and the factors influencing them is a relatively new field of knowledge, dedicated to researching the mutual influence of culture and health. The article is devoted to the concept of health culture and its modern understanding in anthropological and sociological research. The author considers the evolution of the health culture concept based on modern research and outlines the key topics of scientific works devoted to the study of health culture and the peculiarities of its understanding. The research shows that culture influences all stages of disease treatment and health maintenance, from the choice of language and behavioral patterns to understanding the uniqueness of the disease and diagnoses by the individual. The prospects of this concept are determined based on various aspects of its consideration. Currently there is no generally accepted definition of the health culture concept. Peoplel's individual characteristics and individual understanding of health in the context of different cultures and their differences are considered to be important aspects of the concept. At the same time, in anthropological and sociological studies, the very concept of culture, as fundamental and formative for health behavior is replaced by individual meanings of understanding one’s health.

Forecasting the thermal regime of mine workings and the surrounding rock mass is a necessary element of the design of underground structures in cryolithic zone. This is particularly necessary when substantiating and selecting reliable methods and means of rock supporting, in order to ensure safe operation of underground structures during the entire standard service life. Changes in the temperature of discontinuous permafrost rocks in the range of negative values (below the ice point in the rock) can lead to a decrease in their strength characteristics, and consequently to a decrease in the stability of workings. The aim of the research was to compare two ways of considering absolute heat sources (point sources and sources uniformly distributed along the length of a mine working) when forecasting the thermal regime in mine workings of underground structures. The dependencies used to determine temperature differences in various methods of considering absolute heat sources were established. For the sake of generality, the dependencies were produced in dimensionless (criterial) form. The variants were calculated, and the results are presented in the form of graphs. The aim is to visually present the influence of the method of heat sources when considering the accuracy of air temperature prediction in an underground facility. Key qualitative and quantitative features of the formation of thermal regime in workings at different methods of considering absolute heat sources were established. It was shown in particular that during the transition from a negative temperature in a working to a positive one, incorrect consideration of the action of absolute heat sources can lead to an almost 30 % (1.26 times) difference (i.e., error) in the calculated depth of thawing of discontinuous rocks. It was also established that at a positive temperature, when the initial air temperature in a structure is more than 7.5 oC, there is no fundamental difference in engineering calculations results depending on the method of considering of absolute heat sources.

BACKGROUND: The search for biological markers for the differential diagnosis of recurrent depression and bipolar depression is an important undertaking in modern psychiatry. Electroencephalography (EEG) is one of the promising tools in addressing this challenge. AIM: To identify differences in the quantitative characteristics of the electroencephalographic alpha band activity in patients with a depressive episode within the framework of recurrent depression and bipolar depression. METHODS: Two groups of patients (all women) were formed: one consisting of subjects with recurrent depressive disorder and one with subjects experiencing a current mild/moderate episode (30 patients), and subjects with bipolar affective disorder or a current episode of mild or moderate depression (30 patients). The groups did not receive pharmacotherapy and did not differ in their socio-demographic parameters or total score on the Hamilton depression scale. A baseline electroencephalogram was recorded, and the quantitative characteristics of the alpha band activity were analyzed, including the absolute spectral power, interhemispheric coherence, and EEG activation. RESULTS: The patients with recurrent depressive disorder demonstrated statistically significantly lower values of the average absolute spectral power of the alpha band (z=2.481; p=0.042), as well as less alpha attenuation from eyes closed to eyes open (z=2.573; p=0.035), as compared with the patients with bipolar affective disorder. CONCLUSION: The presented quantitative characteristics of alpha activity are confirmation that patients with affective disorders of different origins also display distinctive electrophysiological features which can become promising biomarkers and could help separate bipolar depression from the recurrent type.

The objective of the study is to compare the effectiveness of various systemic therapies in the 3rd and subsequent lines of therapy of metastatic colon cancer. Material and Methods. Retrospective multicenter study collected data from 2 clinics of the Russian Federation. We considered overall survival (OS) as the main criterion of effectiveness. Progression-free survival (PFS) was the additional criterion. We performed a single- and multifactorial analysis of the effect of various parameters on PFS. To evaluate the effectiveness of regorafenib and the reintroduction of previously effective drugs, we should prove the equivalence of reintroduction of the 3rd line chemotherapy (CT) and targeted therapy to regorafenib on the 6-month overall survival, provided that the equivalence boundaries would be between 0.8 and 1.25. To reach the 0.05 probability of type I error and the 80 % study power, 178 patients (89 in each group) should be included in the study. Results. The database identifed 215 patients with morphologically confrmed metastatic colon cancer who received two or more lines of antitumor drug therapy from 2010 to 2021. We selected 132 patients with the history of regorafenib therapy and 83 patients with the reintroduction of a previously used chemotherapy regimen as 3rd line treatment. The median OS in the reintroduction and regorafenib groups did not differ (HR, 1.01; 95 % CI, 0.7–1.45; p=0.920); 6-month OS were 74 and 70 %, respectively. Introduction Total counts of total hip arthroplasty (THA) have been increasing for several decades, and the procedures are associated with considerable risk of intra- and postoperative complications. Vascular complications are defined as multiple pathological conditions. They are subdivided into acute adverse events such as intraoperative bleeding, acute ischemia and hematoma and chronic complications such as pseudoaneurysms and arteriovenous fistulas which can cause late ischemic events. A specialized and well-trained multidisciplinary team is required to perform surgical interventions due to the small number of intravascular lesions. The objective was to demonstrate findings of clinical, instrumentation methods and staged treatment of patients with periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) of the hip and complications associated with injury to the great vessels. Material and methods We report two cases of vascular complications in patients with PJI and migration of femoral components into the lesser pelvis. Results An integrated approach to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with PJI and complications associated with injury to the great vessels helped to avoid lethal outcomes of the Girdlestone operation. Discussion Revision THA requires careful planning and an interdisciplinary approach with the help of a clinical pharmacologist, microbiologist, plastic or angiosurgeon. PJI is associated with a high risk of recurrence that would require two-stage, three-stage surgical interventions. With the bone deficiency of the acetabulum and the proximal femur the Girdlestone operation is performed as the final procedure with resultant significant decrease in the functional adaptation of patients. Conclusion Careful preoperative preparation of patients with unstable hip replacement components including migration of the acetabular component into the pelvic cavity and associated PJI would help to avoid such a devastating complication as great vessel injury.

Background. The individual meanings of the perception of activities by older people are investigated. In this article, we primarily take into account individual character-istics in the design of their activities by older people of different ages. Materials and methods. A total of 30 interviews with older people from two age groups were collected. The main method of interview analysis is thematic. The interviews were conducted in a major federal city – St. Petersburg. Results. The data obtained in the study suggest that re-tirement and the loss of previous activities is a milestone for many older people and con-tributes to the loss or loss of previous, existing activities, the replacement of which usually occurs in fragments and does not bring the proper result. Conclusions. The activities of the older indicated in the study indicate the importance of studying the individual characteris-tics and individual specifics of the activities of older people of different generations. It is also important to develop opportunities for the older themselves to be participants in social policy initiatives and, therefore, based on the inclusion and integration of the older, to cre-ate the most “flexibleˮ and comfortable forms of social policy, focused on the needs of dif-ferent age groups and allowing the older themselves to design their activities.

Patients who underwent radical antitumor treatment for ovarian cancer, borderline ovarian tumors, often experience a severe range of morphofunctional and psychological disorders. Frequent complications are postovariectomy syndrome, sexual dysfunction, anxiety and depression, and chronic pelvic pain, which reduces the overall quality of life. Numerous studies show that for this category of patients, the preservation of labor activity and social significance is an extremely important aspect. This dictates the need to organize rehabilitation measures that significantly increase the quality of life of oncogynecological patients and contribute to the restoration of their professional and social functioning.

Cancer prevalence particularly for cervical cancer (CC) has been steadily increasing tending to rise among young women. Vigorous antitumor treatment approaches employed in CC management have detrimental effects on various aspects of a woman's life. In addition to causing morphofunctional alterations in diverse host organs and systems, such treatment protocols result in psychological and emotional disturbances, sexual dysfunction, and social maladjustment, which collectively profoundly reduce the quality of life (QoL). Integrating timely rehabilitation programs into comprehensive care of such patients can effectively alleviate or minimize complications related to antitumor treatment, improve QoL, and restore a woman's desire for satisfying sexual and social engagement.

The main objective of the oncology patient routing system in the region is to ensure the accessibility and quality of outpatient oncology care. According to the regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the key role in the routing system is assigned to outpatient cancer care centers. We analyzed the regulatory requirements for the operation of the centers and proposed algorithms for their integration in the regions. Based on the developed algorithms, routing modeling and a rank assessment of the models were performed with a subsequent risk assessment and rationale for organizational measures to mitigate the risks.

The article examines the digitalization issues of scientific volunteering and the digitalization prospects of this industry using the example of various online initiatives of citizen science. The effectiveness problem of digital technologies for the implementation of citizen science projects is considered in the context of the experience of implementing specific programs of various volunteer projects in this area. The article analyzes the websites, documents and activity of five research projects in the field of citizen science on technical, natural science and humanitarian initiatives. The conducted research made it possible to determine the positive role of citizen science digitalization. However, the problems of digital gaps, as well as the insufficient digitalization of citizen science projects, create barriers to the full implementation of such projects, which also have a significant educational function. At the same time, the study also notes the important role of creating networks of such projects and expanding the large range participation of interested persons in such projects, which will contribute to the systematic and structural development of citizen science digital initiatives in the future. Of particular importance for the development of such initiatives is the volunteers’ involvement, as well as various interested persons, and the participation expansion in such initiatives of participants from small towns and the accessibility creation of such projects.

Introduction. The presumption of knowledge of the law and laws of the state assumes that every citizen knows the necessary amount of legal information sufficient to fulfill the basic obligation to comply with the Constitution and laws of the Russian Federation. Accordingly, the study of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and basic laws is mandatory and should be integrated into educational programs at all levels. Special attention should be paid to the constitutional and legal education of children, because at this age the model of behavior, which a person will follow in the future, is laid. Theoretical analysis. The study of the Constitution of Russia in childhood and adolescence is based on the concept of meta-law, which asserts the unity of law, religion, philosophy, science, and art. In the educational paradigm of meta-law, the Constitution is perceived through spiritual and moral values, ethical, moral attitudes, confirming by legal authority the correctness of the ideas about what is due that the child has learned. The initial stage of studying the Basic Law of the country may coincide with the child’s study of the alphabet, when individual letters of the alphabet will be fixed in the child’s memory by the example of categories of constitutional law that are accessible to understanding. It is fruitful to address the content of the Constitution of Russia through the prism of elementary plots of folk tales reflecting the archetypes of popular consciousness. Through the fairy tale, the child is introduced to the national worldview, learns to recognize himself or herself as part of the multinational people of the Russian Federation, who embodied their political will in the Basic Law of the country. Folk art expresses an ideal presented in an artistic form. The Constitution legally formalizes the people’s idea. That is why legal folklore studies should be integrated into educational programs in literature, social studies, and jurisprudence. Works of children’s fiction devoted to the Basic Law of the country are the most correct form for the perception of the text of the Constitution by children aged six to eight. Serious discussions about the Constitution of Russia, the history of the constitutional idea in our country, political power and constitutional practice of the state should take place at high school age. The choice of a form of submission of constitutional and legal information is determined by mental generational characteristics of children in accordance with the information environment in which their formation and development took place. Results. The authors conclude that the theory of the Constitution should be integrated into the program of basic general education and offer the fundamentals of a specialized pedagogical strategy for studying the Constitution by children. The methodology of studying the Constitution by children determines the identity of the legal system of Russia, where moral norms, ethics, morality, culture are the co-regulators of law. The format of educational practices depends on the stages of growing up, socialization and individualization of the child.

The development of sequencing technologies and bioinformatic analysis made it possible to conduct molecular and epidemiological studies, in which nucleotide sequences of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) are used as information added to the patient profile. From a practical perspective, studies of prevalence of HIV drug resistance (HIVDR) are of the highest significance. To promote such studies, different countries use databases that serve as repositories of genetic and epidemiological information. The Russian HIVDR database (https://hivresist.ru/) was created in 2009. Nevertheless, it was characterized by limited applicability for a long time. Since 2021, after the regulatory documents had been revised and updated, the entry of HIVDR research results into the Russian HIVDR database has been mandatory. Therefore, the priority attention has been given to upgrading the database and improving its functional capabilities. Different methods have been developed to enter clinical, epidemiological and genetic data. At the time of this study, the Russian database HIVDR contained 10,626 unique records about patients and 13,126 nucleotide sequences deposited by 10 institutions. The following functions have been provided for data analysis: quality control of the epidemiological and clinical information about a patient, quality control of nucleotide sequences, contamination check, subtyping, detection of DR mutations, identification of viral tropism and generation of standardized reports. The efforts toward further development of the Russian HIVDR database will be focused on designing tools for detection and analysis of molecular clusters, adaptation to routine application for epidemiological surveillance of HIV infection.

Relevance. Caused by the need to develop and optimize the mathematical apparatus for processing the results of laboratory experiments and increasing the adequacy of the results obtained. Aim. To create alternative methods for finding the parameters of the Szyszkowski and Rosin–Rammler dependencies, which are subject to surfactant adsorption from an aqueous solution on solid adsorbents and deposition of suspended particles in sedimentation analysis. Methods. The main method for determining the parameters of two-parameter dependencies is the least squares method. The standard approach is based on finding the minimum of a function of two variables by computational methods of nonlinear programming. The equations, obtained by equating the derivatives of the objective function for each of the parameters to zero, are used as necessary conditions for the minimum of the objective function. The paper considers alternative approaches to obtaining explicit formulas and reduction to the solution of the transcendental equation. Results. For the two-parameter dependencies of Szyszkowski and Rosin–Rammler, the alternative approaches for determining unknown parameters are proposed. In the standard approach, solving the problem is based on numerical minimization of a function of two variables by nonlinear programming methods. The authors propose the approach, in which the Szyszkowski and Rosin–Rammler equations are subjected to some equivalent transformations so that the use of the necessary minimum conditions makes it possible to obtain a linear equation with respect to at least one of the required parameters. This leads to simplification of calculations, it is required to solve one transcendental equation numerically, the second parameter is then determined by an explicit formula. And for the Rosin–Rammler dependence, in one of the proposed variants, it was possible to obtain explicit formulas for finding both parameters.

Relevance. Phosphate raw materials processing at the Gomel chemical plant over a period of more than 50 years has led to accumulation of millions of tons of phosphogypsum dumps. They are a source of subterranean water contamination by sulfates, phosphates and other chemical compounds. Therefore, there is the need in current estimation of the scale and extent of aquifers contamination, taking into account the geological and hydrogeological conditions that influence the migration of contaminants. Aim. Assessment of hydrogeological parameters affecting distribution of contaminants in subterranean water and the degree of aquifers contamination. Objects. Aquifers and impermeable horizons. Methods. Methods for assessment of hydrogeological parameters, methods for determining the chemical composition of subterranean water. Results. The paper assesses a technogenic effect, produced by dumps of Gomel chemical plant. It reviews a subterranean water monitoring local network within the Gomel chemical plant influence area. The hydrogeological parameters of aquifers of the upper hydrodynamic zone are quantitatively assessed, given that this zone undergoes the strongest anthropogenic impact. The study of subterranean water quality ends up with three classes of contamination: high, moderate and insignificant. Sulphates, nitrogen ammonium, phosphorus phosphate are identified as major contaminants. The authors find a spatial pattern of subterranean water contaminants differentiation that tends to develop both horizontally and vertically. As a result of the study, areas and sources of high groundwater contamination are determined and mapped. A conclusion is drawn on the necessity of further control over the subterranean water conditions and contamination development in time and space.

The article discusses the features that, in the regional aspect, influence the choice of various strategies for the preservation of individual health by older people. It is concluded that the individual health of the elderly depends on the specific social environment, as well as on individual psychological and physiological factors, on the level of activity and autonomy in decision-making. The study was conducted by the Sociological Institute of the RAS – branch of the FCTAS RAS from March to September 2022 in two regions of the Russian Federation: St. Petersburg and rural areas of the Republic of Karelia. The main research method used was semi-structured interviews, the approach to analysing interview data was thematic. One of the results of the analysis is the identification of specific factors of two health preservation strategies typical for older people: self-help, with distinctive features of autonomy in the social environment, the poor financial situation of representatives of this strategy and their search for alternative methods of treatment; and a care strategy related to older people’s trust in institutional medicine, their experience in managing a chronic disease, and their higher financial status. The results of the study allow us to conclude that when choosing a particular strategy, older people are guided by such factors as the level of trust in the social environment in general and profess ional medicine in particular, individual psychological and emotional aspects of ideas about maintaining one’s health and the level of personal material well-being.

Modern Russia, like most European countries, is a state where the population is actively aging. At the same time, the issues of organizing care for the elderly, as well as the issues of organizing care for the elderly, are becoming increasingly important for modern Russian social policy. The article presents the results of a qualitative study conducted in the villages of the Republic of Karelia and in the city of St. Petersburg. A total of 40 semi-structured interviews were collected (n=40). In the framework of this study, we consider caring for the subjective health of older people as one of the important criteria for the development of active longevity policy in Russia. The main task of the study, in this regard, is to find out how the elderly themselves take care of their subjective health within various territories. The main research question is the question of how care for their subjective health is formed in older people. The results of the study confirm the presence of the specifics of caring for their subjective health, depending on the different locations where the elderly live. The main problem for elderly people living in rural areas is the exclusion of medical and social services, which actualizes the search for alternative treatment options for diseases. For the elderly in a large city, it is important to turn to institutional treatment providers as the only and non-alternative sources of care and a guideline for turning to such providers in the treatment of various diseases.

Relevance. A great number of well stimulation technologies are performed on LUKOIL-PERM LLC fields. A lot of fields are in the final stages of development. In conditions of a high degree of recovery of reserves, high water cut and decrease in reservoir pressure it is necessary to justify target well performance indicators on the new level. The aim of the research is to develop the algorithm for determining the optimal value of oil flow rate increase by technologies of intensification. Objects: the effectiveness of the proppant hydraulic fracturing, radial drilling, acid treatment at the carbonate V3V4 reservoir of the Batyrbayskoe field. Methods: regression analysis. Results. This paper proposes an algorithm for determining the optimal value of oil flow rate increase by technologies of intensification by means of regression analysis. The complex probability for well stimulation technologies: radial drilling, acid treatment and hydraulic fracturing was calculated. By constructed distributions of complex probability, it was possible to determine the boundary conditions of technology application, thereby confirming the economic component in substantiating the increase of oil flow rates. When comparing the effectiveness of several technologies, it was possible to determine the most promising for a carbonate object. The analysis of free terms of complex probabilities of technologies of regression equations is carried out. At each range of oil flow rate increment complex probability for definite technology is taking part. Changing the character of coefficient values distribution allowed revealing the area distribution of efficiency. Thus, the offered algorithm allowed not only grounding statistically an optimum value of increment of oil flow rate for development object, but also estimating the efficiency of each technology and constructing the scheme of efficiency forecast.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the conversation of I. V. Stalin with the leaders of the Moscow Patriarchate, held on the night of September 5, 1943. In the course of this conversation, Stalin actually disavowed a number of key provisions of the decree “On the separation of Church and State”. Firstly, his establishment of the Council for the Russian Orthodox Church meant that the state recognised the Church as an integral system. Secondly, the instruction to “ensure the right of the bishop to dispose of church funds” implied the legalisation of diocesan structures. Thirdly, the permission to have candle factories in dioceses was tantamount to granting religious organisations certain legal rights. Moreover, Stalin expressed his willingness to provide the “church centre” with subsidies directly forbidden by decree, which the metropolitans refused on every occasion. Should they agree, the meeting could have initiated a revision of the decree with the participation of the party concerned. As a result of the conversation, two of the metropolitans’ ten requests were implemented within a few days, designed for international resonance: the election of the patriarch and the publication of the “Journal of the Moscow Patriarchate”. Permitting the organization of theological courses, Stalin also proposed to open academies and seminaries. In response to a request by metropolitans to open churches in a number of dioceses, Stalin said that there would be no obstacles on the part of the government. The admission of clergymen in the executive bodies was also allowed without objections, but in 1961 this clause was annulled as a “gross violation of Leninist norms”. The resolution of other issues, such as the amnesty of bishops, the lifting of restrictions on clergy who had served their sentences, arbitrariness in taxation, was ostponed. As an encouragement from the government, the patriarchate received a new residence — a non-ecclesiastical building, which was listed for the People’s Commissariat for Foreign Affairs. The author of the article comes to the conclusion that Stalin’s demonstrative move towards the Orthodox Church testified that the elimination of religion in the public space of the USSR was postponed for an indefinite period of time. The analysis suggests that while this move was positive, it was forced, contradictory and accompanied by the increasing state control over church life.

Permo-Carboniferous oil deposit of the Usinskoye field is characterized by an extremely complex type of the void space with intense cross-sectional distribution of cavernous and fractured rock. In this study, for this production site, the process of 3D geological modeling has been implemented. At the first stage, it provided for automated identification of reservoir volumes by comparing the data of core and well logging surveys; at the second stage, identification of rock lithotypes according to Dunham classification is performed on the basis of comparison of thin sections examination and well logging data. A large array of factual information enables the use of machine learning technology on the basis of Levenberg – Marquardt neural network apparatus toward achievement of our research goals. The prediction algorithms of reservoir and rock lithotype identification using well logging methods obtained on the basis of the training samples are applied to the wells without core sampling. The implemented approach enabled complementing the 3D geological model with information about rock permeability and porosity, taking into account the structural features of the identified lithotypes. For the Permo-Carboniferous oil deposit of the Usinskoye field, the volumetric zoning of the distribution of different rock lithotypes has been established. Taking into account the lithotypes identified based on machine learning algorithms, density and openness of fractures were determined, and fracture permeability in the deposit volume was calculated. In general, during the implementation, the machine learning errors remained within 3-5 %, which suggests reliability of the obtained predictive solutions. The results of the research are incorporated in the existing 3D digital geological and process model of the deposit under study.

Aim Study of mechanical and biological properties of five variants of alloys of the Ti-Nb-Ta system. Materials and methods Five alloys were obtained from the system: Ti-(15-20)Nb-(5-10)Ta (at. %). Their mechanical tests were carried out by stretching on the INSTRON 3382 universal testing machine in accordance with GOST 1497-84. The biological properties of the resulting alloys were evaluated in in vivo experiments (implantation surgery) on white outbred male JCR mice. Histological study of the tissues of the limb with an implant, kidneys and liver was carried out at three time points: at 1, 4, 12 weeks after surgery, which corresponds to the early, middle and late phases after implantation. Results The samples showed ductility from 11.5 % to 14.6 %, strength from 549 to 673 MPa and Young's modulus from 42 to 50 GPa. The yield strength also varied depending on the composition of the alloy within 188 – 572 MPa. The inflammatory reaction was the least pronounced in the groups with Ti-20Nb-5Ta and Ti-15Nb-10Ta alloys implanted. Discussion Compared to the widely used TiAl6V4 alloy, the obtained alloys approximately correspond in terms of plasticity and have approximately 2 times lower Young's modulus, which should lead to better biomechanical compatibility between the implant and the surrounding biological tissues, preventing the effect of protection against stress and, accordingly, bone resorption. The relatively low tensile strength of the obtained alloys does not reduce the above-mentioned advantage over TiAl6V4, since this strength is quite sufficient for the proposed application. Histological study after 1, 4 and 12 weeks showed that the intensity of the local inflammatory reaction due to new alloys is higher than with the use of TiAl6V4, which requires further study and could be associated with a small sample size. Conclusions The way to create titanium alloys with a low Young's modulus may solve the problem of biomechanical compatibility of the implant with the surrounding tissues. The obtained and described alloys of the Ti-Nb-Ta system showed the neceary mechanical and, according to the initial assessment, acceptable biological properties that require further broader research.

The 3D distribution of the initial oil saturation in the reservoir volume is one of the key elements of geological and technological modeling, largely determining the quality of subsequent development design solutions. The publication presents an analysis of the current state of the problem of studying the oil-water transition zone and the distribution of oil saturation. For terrigenous hydrophilic reservoirs, electric lateral logging quite reliably controls the fluid saturation of the void space of the oil part of the deposit, which suggests the possibility of its integration with widely used capillarimetry methods. Aim: to evaluate the possibility of reliably determining the oil saturation of terrigenous hydrophilic reservoirs by combining the data of electrical lateral logging, filtration-capacitance properties of reservoirs and capillarimetric core studies, to build a 3D model of the distribution of the initial oil saturation of reservoirs in oil deposits, taking into account the allocation of the oil-water transition zone. Object: oil-saturated reservoirs of the Visean oil deposits of the Perm region. Method: methods of multidimensional mathematical modeling in the development of a methodology for determining the initial oil saturation of reservoirs based on a complex of well logging and capillarimetric studies of the core, construction of 3D distribution of the initial oil saturation of the reservoir, taking into account the parameters of the oil-water transition zone. Results. The authors, based on the developed methodology for the deposit of the reservoir Bb of the Aspinskoe field, built a 3D model of the distribution of the initial oil saturation. For the studied reservoir, they carried out the analysis of distribution of zones of free saturation, undersaturation, transition zone and limiting oil saturation. The resulting 3D model can be used in geological and technological modeling of the development of an oil deposit.

Background. Radical treatment of malignant neoplasms (MNs) of female reproductive system often has serious consequences. Chronic pain syndrome, distress, anxiety and depression, decreased self-esteem, sexual dysfunction and social maladjustment reduce quality of life (QoL) and require psychotherapeutic support.Objective: to create an algorithm for the provision of comprehensive psychotherapeutic support during rehabilitation following the treatment of reproductive system MNs and to evaluate its effect on QoL indicators in women with neuropsychiatric disorders.Material and methods. The algorithm for the provision of comprehensive psychotherapeutic support included clinical interview, cognitive behavioral therapy, visualization, audio therapy, art therapy, group and individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy, image therapy. The QoL indicators were determined by questionnaires using the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy – General (FACT-G) with nosology-specific extensions (subscales of physical well-being, social/family well-being, emotional wellbeing and functional well-being), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Kupperman–Uvarova Modified Menopausal Index (MMI). The follow-up period was 1 year after radical surgical treatment of reproductive system MNs in different localizations. The main group received the algorithm for the provision of comprehensive psychotherapeutic support as part of active medical rehabilitation, the comparison group received basic rehabilitation.Results. The study included 47 women with vulvar cancer (VC): active rehabilitation group (VC-1) – 24 patients and basic rehabilitation group (VC-2) – 23 patients; 61 women with endometrial cancer (EC): active rehabilitation group (EC-1) – 29 patients and basic rehabilitation group (EC-2) – 32 patients; 103 women with cervical cancer (CC): active rehabilitation group (CC-1) – 51 patients and basic rehabilitation group (CC-2) – 52 patients; 62 women with stages I–II ovarian cancer (OC) and low malignant potential tumor (LMPT): active rehabilitation group (LMPT-1) – 29 patients and basic rehabilitation group (LMPT-2) – 33 patients. Differences in physical, social/family and functional well-being (FACT-G) were significant from the 6th month and in emotional well-being – by the end of follow-up. Neurovegetative and psycho-emotional disorders, as assessed by Kupperman–Uvarova MMI, showed significant positive dynamics in women who received the algorithm for the provision of comprehensive psychotherapeutic support, in contrast to the comparison group, where these indicators remained without significant dynamics or worsened by the end of the follow-up period. The HADS scores during psychotherapeutic support decreased to normal values at the 6–12th months of follow-up, while those who received the basic rehabilitation continued to have subclinical anxiety and depression.Conclusion. The developed algorithm for psychotherapeutic support as part of active medical rehabilitation of women who underwent radical treatment for reproductive system MNs (VC, EC, CC, OC, and LMPT) has demonstrated its effectiveness, justifuing its implementation in clinical practice.

Development of a statistical model for predicting the confirmability of the amplitudes of structures prepared from the deposits of the middle carboniferous in the Perm region. The relevance of the research is caused by the requirement to maintain the confirmability of resources of category D0 with an addition to reserves of categories C1+C2 at a high level. The assessment of the resources of the prepared structures is carried out by total petroleum systems in the presence of open industrial deposits of hydrocarbons in analog fields, as well as under the condition of mapping closed amplitude structures on reflective surfaces. One of the factors influencing the decrease in the confirmability factors is the change in the structural constructions from the prospecting and evaluation to the exploration stages of geological exploration. The main aim of the research is to create, based on retrospective data, a probabilistic prediction model that allows us to determine the most reliable hydrocarbon prospecting in the context of medium-carboniferous uplift deposits within the existing fund of prepared structures, adjust the current assessment of resources of category D0 and exclude drilling of new exploration and evaluation wells within unpromising objects. Objects. The author have created the database for the research, which includes information about 125 prepared structures removed from drilling from 1997 to 2021. It includes information about the amplitudes of structures in accordance with the materials for their preparation (Ap) and according to the updating of structural constructions based on the results of deep exploration, exploration drilling, seismic exploration in open fields, etc. (Aa). The research methodology is based on the use of mathematical statistics methods. The results. The correlation analysis of the amplitudes of structures based on the materials of passports and the amplitudes of structures updated according to deep drilling data was performed. According to the results of the analysis, the correlation field was divided into two subfields between Ap and Aa. When using a detailed statistical analysis of the Aa and Ap correlations between the subfields, a boundary value of 13 m was established, which made it possible to develop an individual probabilistic linear model for predicting the confirmability of the amplitude of the structure by the values of the Ap.

Background. 1.5 years after the registration of the first vaccine against COVID-19 in Russia, national herd immunity reached only 49.7%. It is obvious that the success of vaccination measures depends on the readiness of the population for immunization and their attitude to the vaccine.The aim of the study was to research the attitude to vaccination against a new coronavirus infection among various socio-demographic population groups in Russia.Materials and methods. The study was conducted online by distributing via social networks a direct link to an electronic form with questions about the attitude to the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination. A total of 2,786 people (of whom 66.9% were women) aged 16 to 77 years took part in the online survey.Results. It was shown that distrust of vaccination was more often expressed by women and younger people. A targeted approach to these population groups can improve the results of awareness-raising and preventive measures in the context of an ongoing pandemic.

Aim. To identify the differences in executive function (inhibitory control, working memory, cognitive flexibility) between patients with bipolar affective disorder and depressive episode.Materials and methods. A total of 72 patients with affective disorders aged 20–40 years were examined. Of them, 30 patients had bipolar affective disorder, a current episode of mild or moderate depression, and 42 patients had a mild, moderate, and severe depressive episode without symptoms of psychosis. The executive function was evaluated using PsyToolkit, a set of software tools for programming psychological experiments. Computerized Go/ No–go tasks (assessment of inhibitory control and psychomotor functions), the Corsi block-tapping test (assessment of visual and spatial working memory capacities), and the Stroop Color and Word Test (assessment of cognitive flexibility) were used.Results. An intergroup comparison of patients revealed that patients with bipolar disorder significantly more often demonstrated false button press in the Go/No–go task (p = 0.043); however, they exhibited a greater working memory capacity in the Corsi block-tapping test (p = 0.049) compared with patients with a depressive episode.Conclusion. Important data were obtained regarding the specifics of executive dysfunction depending on the type of affective disorder. The presented data expand and supplement available information about the cognitive characteristics of patients with bipolar affective disorder and depressive episode, which may be useful in clinical practice and serve a focus of future research.

The study of coronaviruses, including those capable of causing life-threatening diseases, continued for many decades. So did the study of interferons, as well as acridine acetic acid, which is a powerful interferon inducer. For a long time, both directions of research developed in parallel to each other. However, the discovery of SARS-CoV and the creation of Cycloferon based on acridine acetic acid made both research directions converge. To date, the abundance of factual and theoretical tenets is enough to estimate the potential effectiveness of acridine acetic acid against COVID-19.

Introduction. Radical surgery for recurrent atypical endometrial hyperplasia (AEH) allows to fully assess pathological changes of the endometrium, a risk of concomitant cancer, and provides insight into proposing a definitive therapy. However, after ovariohysterectomy, young women develop postovariectomy syndrome (POES) and psychosexual disorders profoundly decreasing quality of life (QoL) that requires rehabilitation measures.Aim: to conduct a comparative analysis of QoL in patients with recurrent AEH after hysterectomy with bilateral salpingooophorectomy based on the management tactics in the rehabilitation period.Materials and Methods. In the second part of the prospective randomized comparative study, 58 women diagnosed with recurrent AEH (mean patient age 44.25 ± 3.40 years) underwent a one-year-follow-up, divided into 2 groups according to the management tactics in the rehabilitation period: group 1 – 27 patients with "active" rehabilitation according to the complex rehabilitation and therapeutic protocol proposed by our research group; group 2 – 31 patients with "passive" rehabilitation. To assess the overall QoL, a questionnaire the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy for Patients with Endometrial Cancer (FACT-En) was used, analyzing a level of anxiety and depressive disorders with the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) as well as manifestations of surgical menopause using Kupperman–Uvarova modified menopausal index (MMI) and sexual function – with the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) on day 3–7 as well as 3, 6, 12 months after surgical treatment.Results. It was found that inter-group difference was significant in the FACT-En questionnaire observed as early as by 3 months of the study, whereas by 12 months the QoL score in the "active" rehabilitation group increased by 39.36 points based on the FACT-En questionnaire, but only by 17.38 points in the "passive" rehabilitation cohort (p < 0.001). Analyzing Kupperman–Uvarova MMI, the degree of manifested surgical menopause decreased over time in both groups. However, as early as 6 and 12 months after onset, “active” rehabilitation was featured with surgical menopause parameters corresponding to a mild course, whereas “passive” rehabilitation was associated with moderate severity (p < 0.001). Over the entire follow-up period, "active" rehabilitation group was shown to have anxiety parameters decreased from 10.77 ± 2.36 score (subclinical anxiety) to 4.55 ± 1.50 score (normal range), whereas at 6 and 12 months of follow-up the "passive" rehabilitation group was found to have anxiety parameters corresponding to subclinical manifestations. Over time, sexual function improved in both groups, however, the parameters in the "active" vs. "passive" rehabilitation group were significantly higher as early as 3 months after the onset, with similar pattern observed at 6 and 12 months (p < 0.05).Conclusion. The set of rehabilitation measures proposed by us improves psycho-emotional state, corrects POES manifestations, improves sexual function of AEH patients, thereby increasing overall QoL. This is comparable to the results of medical rehabilitation of women after radical treatment with endometrial cancer.
