It is given to the Public Administration the possibility to interfere in Economics through direct ways and also indirectly, being public support one of the possible ways of intervention. Public support can be developed through many different ways, such as tax incentives, public funding and subventions for example. When it comes to Photovoltaic Solar Energy, it is noticeable a great interest in supporting its implementation by private initiative and in such context there are some public policies that stand out. In this context, the present study aims to describe Law number 14.300/2022, as distributed microgeneration and minigeration's legal framework, in order to verify its potential innovation measures in terms of public support when it comes to photovoltaic solar energy and also its possible modifications towards public support measures that already exist. This paper aims to understand the geo-economic dynamics of industry in Ampére and the main characteristics and determining factors of this process, understanding it not as an isolated fact, but connected to the regional and national context. The Socio-Spatial Formation (SSF) category of analysis was considered, along with a bibliographical and documentary review and fieldwork. The SEF of the southwest of Paraná, the mesoregion of the study area, was developed based on smallscale commercial production and Ampére has a significant manufacturing sector, standing out in two sectors of the transformation industry (clothing and furniture production). In the southwest of Paraná, it is the main hub for these sectors; in the state of Paraná, it is among the 10 main hubs and in Brazil, it is the 65th largest employer in the clothing sector and the 43rd in the furniture industry. This position of industrial importance is the result of a combination of private initiatives based on small-scale commercial production, municipal public support, as well as federal policies and programs that boosted the domestic market during the 2000s. In this research, we seek to evidence the process of territorial occupation where the remnant quilombo communities of Santa Quitéria and Itacoãzinho - Acará - Pará are located, and how its residents perceive their local experiences in regards to these sites. To achieve this, we focus on the narratives of the research subjects acquired through interviews, complemented by cartographic and academic data accessed. This study aims to adapt the Public Speaking Anxiety Scale (PSAS) to the brazilian context, gathering evidence of its factorial and convergent validity, item analysis and reliability. Two studies were performed with a sample of university students. In Study 1, 211 people participated (Mage = 25 years, DPage = 9.18, 58.8% men), and the results suggested a unifactory structure consisting of 14 items that were discriminatory. In Study 2, 208 people participated (Mage = 25 years, DPage = 7.79, 79% women), confirming the unifatorial structure, which proved to be invariant in relation to sex, showing converging validity with indicators of general health and confidence to speak in public. It was concluded that the brazilian version of the PSAS gathered adequate psychometric evidence, supporting its use in research evaluating public speaking anxiety. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to understand the causal relationship between symbolic and real violence, applied to agrarian conflicts, a critical analysis was carried out, using the dialectical-argumentative method, to explain how the effectiveness of public policies to support compliance can be improved. The constitutional rights of the rural or urban population, especially those interested in agrarian reform and, organized in rural social movements, fight for land. The modalities of violence suffered by the population with an interest in agrarian reform are studied in order to identify that symbolic violence, according to Bourdieu, acts as an instrument for maintaining power, since the ratification of the status quo is, in itself, a practice, too violent, because it legitimizes and naturalizes relations of oppression as if, in fact, they were legitimate. In describing public inter-institutional cooperation under a pragmatic theoretical framework, a case study is sought to demonstrate the possibility of an implicit constitutional principle, which is understood as one of the pillars of support for public tax policies aimed at to federated entities. In view of this reality, it is sought to examine the relationship of interinstitutional cooperation that federal entities possess, as well as to envisage the possibility of emancipation of such implicit constitutional principle in the way of providing better results in tax matters, and consequently in the functions of State. In order to meet this objective, the following questions are asked: Does the implicit constitutional principle of public inter-institutional cooperation be analyzed under a pragmatic theoretical framework? And, if positive, is it capable of sustaining a specific model of public policy to be implemented in the federated entities? In order to examine the proposal, we chose a case study in which an analysis of an interpretative character was used in the verification of the data by means of the bibliographic research technique. It was therefore concluded that it is entirely possible to examine the subject in the light of the theoretical pragmatic matrix, which has made it possible to understand that the emancipatory goal of the principle of public interinstitutional cooperation is absolutely if possible, so that it can in fact be used as base if support for the creation of public tax policies directed to the federated entities. In the present study we sought to analyze the spatial distribution of poverty of the municipalities in Alagoas, based on the concept of absolute poverty. For this purpose, we used the technical analysis exploratory spatial data and spatial econometrics models. The database used in this research was obtained from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Among the results, we can highlight three: a) there is a strong intraregional discrepancy in the state, especially between East and "Sertão" mesoregions; b) there is an inverse relationship between poverty and the variables per capita income and urbanization rate, while the opposite occurs with respect to the Gini index and c) there is a spatial dependence of poverty, in other words, there is a degree of similarity between the municipalities analyzed, so that poverty in a municipality is explained partly by poverty in neighboring municipalities. These results are relevant, because they provide evidence related to the importance of spatial dependence on the poverty of the Alagoas's municipalities, being useful to support public policies that promote the development of these localities. With the objective of punctuating the attributions of community health agents, in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic period, understanding their attributions in this moment of national need, the research, in qualitative character, brings some contributions with reports from some professionals about the constant needs faced in their daily work, with regard to their responsibilities, guided (or not) by the training materials provided by the Ministry of Health, in which the reality is incongruous, contrasting with their particularities faced such as the lack of equipment individual protection, lack of training, refusal of home visits on the part of those assisted and their lack of appreciation, being points that are problematized in several territories found in Brazil; investment in resources for the Unified Health System (SUS) is of fundamental necessity, prioritizing the life of each individual and contributing to the quality of well-being of all who need the system, because what is currently present in the national scenario, it is the collapse that further aggravates the reception of the largest part of society that needs to be supported by public health services. We seek to describe the arrival of Sars-CoV-2 in the state of Amazonas, present the public policies employed during this arrival and analyze the results of this relationship between the virus and the actions of the state. Therefore, we seek to support in public documents, with attention to the official data released on epidemiological bulletins and normative documents drawn up by the state and federal governments. Starting from the analysis of the discursive strategies used by the Datafolha Institute in its polls referring to president Dilma Rousseff, this articles argues that polls are regularly by the media in order to manipulate facts, guide the public agenda and support certain arguments. The methodology makes use of Discourse Analysis, as well as theories of journalism, of Public Opinion and of the Public Sphere. The research shows that that the narrative proposed by the Datafolha Institute omitted facts crucial for the understanding of the Brazilian political crisis. The Institute's argumentative strategies and publicizing of results, framed by its political and economic agenda, decisively affected Dilma Rousseff's credibility, leading to her impeachment. The publication of the Decree-law n.º 111-B/2017 on 31 August led to significant changes in the Public Contracts Code. Although it allows contracts to be made at the lowest total price, one of the main changes results from the establishment of a criterion that favors the most economically advantageous proposal, based on the best price-quality matrix supported by a cost-effectiveness analysis, namely life cycle cost analysis. This paper presents a system to support the comparative analysis of the life cycle costs of different solutions for reinforced concrete roadway bridges. An innovative method is described that allows the public administration to support decision making regarding the choice of several construction/repair alternatives. This article analyzes the return migration in the State of Mexico, from the personal and household perspectives. Using the Survey on Migration of Mexiquenses to the United States (EMMEU, 2009), and a series of in-depth interviews, it was established that return migrants have a new socioeconomic and family mentality that manifests itself in their daily practices, as increased emphasis on their children’s education and health, the capitalization of small businesses, and changes in their jobs to move from rural to urban tertiary activities. However, it is also clear that the efforts of the returnees and their families to build best ways of life are limited by the available assets. In this sense, it is proposed to enhance the use of these social and productive skills through public programs, designed according to the needs of returnees in their communities.

Este artículo examina el porqué el presidente George W. Bush no pudo recolectar la ayuda de la ciudadanía americana para su estrategia para la estabilización y la transformación de Iraq. De hecho, esta estrategia ha sido afectada por el desplegar de los acontecimientos que sucedieron en Iraq, pero el problema principal reside en las posiciones que el presidente utilizó para simplificar los desafíos que el ejército americano y la diplomacia tenían que hacer frente en Iraq, buscando la aprobación de las criticas periodisticas, de los expertos gubernamentales y de los juristas. En más de una perspectiva la falta de aprobación del gobierno Bush en Iraq es una consecuencia de la carencia de la confianza que la opinión pública tuvo por su presidente y sus consejeros para lograr sus objetivos en Iraq. Para constatar esta tesis, el artículo analiza el discurso del presidente a la nación, difundida en horario de punta el 28 de julio de 2005, que demuestra que los americanos no estaban demasiado convencidos de la estrategia de Bush._____________ABSTRACT:This article puts in context why President of the United States of America George W. Bush has been unable to rally American support for his strategy to stabilize and transform Iraq. Since the summer of 2003, when Iraqis started to challenge the authority of the Anglo-American occupation, the White House has been on the defensive, while American support for post-war efforts has dwindled. While developments in Iraq have affected the strategy’s execution, the main problem is the president’s inclination to oversimplify the challenges American troops and diplomats are facing in Iraq, inviting criticism from journalists, experts on nation-building and lawmakers. In many ways, declining approval of Bush’s handling of Iraq results in the public’s lack of confidence that the president and his advisors will be able to accomplish its goals in Iraq. To test this argument, the article analyzes the president’s address to the nation, delivered primetime on June 28, 2005, showing how Americans are not convinced of the soundness of Bush’s strategy.

Objetivou-se avaliar e divulgar a evolução da demanda bruta e da demanda atendida de projetos de pesquisa nos Editais Universais 01/2002, 019/2004 e 02/2006 das subáreas do conhecimento que constituem o Programa Básico de Zootecnia do CNPq (Ecologia dos animais domésticos e etologia; Genética e melhoramento dos animais domésticos; Nutrição e alimentação animal; Pastagem e forragicultura; e Produção animal) para evidenciar a distribuição regional dessas demandas. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de consultas aos bancos de dados Oracle® do CNPq utilizando-se a ferramenta de busca PL-SQL, pela Coordenação de Suporte ao Fomento - COSFO. Das 809 solicitações de financiamento em todas as subáreas do Programa Básico de Zootecnia no período, foram financiadas 168 propostas (20,8% do total). Nutrição e alimentação animal, Pastagem e forragicultura e Produção animal foram as três subáreas com maior demanda por recursos financeiros. A Região que apresentou maior demanda bruta nos três Editais foi a Sudeste (46,7% do total), com R$ 14,2 milhões, seguida pela Região Sul (18,4% do total). O CNPq tem aprimorado os mecanismos de fomento à pesquisa científica e tecnológica brasileiras como forma de aumentar o aporte de recursos financeiros disponibilizados aos pesquisadores atuantes no País.The aim of this paper was to evaluate and to publish the study on the evolution of the relation between the total amount of submitted proposals and the supported ones, into the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq)'s Animal Science Support Program subareas. The study was based on data from the last three Universal Calls (01/2002, 019/2004, and 02/2006) and evinced regional distribution of such variables. Data were obtained through CNPq's Oracle® database, using PL-SQL search tool. From a total of 809 submitted proposals, comprising all subareas of the Animal Science Support Program, 168 proposals were supported (20.8%). Animal Nutrition followed by Pasture and Forage Crops and Animal Production Science were the subareas with the highest demand for financial supports. Southeast Region was the one with the higher submitted demand through the three calls, comprising 46.7% of total demand, what corresponds to R$ 14.2 millions, followed by South Region, which represented 18,4% of total demand. There had been no limits for CNPq efforts in order to improve fomentation mechanisms for Brazilian scientific and technological research and to increase available financial resources to Brazilian researchers.

Cultural organizations, artists and other professionals, and their publics are today in the centre of the discussions on public investment in culture. The diversity of work profiles of the organizations and the new modes of arts participation encourage the analysis of "multiple sources" to characterize structures, contexts and publics. The article analyzes the support by the central state and evaluates how it operates in the capacity of artistic creation, divulgation and localized-action of structures. Using a case study of theatre, it considers the importance of concerted models of public support using organizations objectives, but also contexts and cultural territories specificities to reduce the overlap of old asymmetries and to amplify the action-axes from "local theatres". The article presents an analysis of Gilles Deleuze's political commitments. According to the author, behind the philosophical work of Deleuze, directed mainly to the construction of concepts, his propensity for political advocacy can be perceived, both timely and concrete. From May 1968, he participated in social movements (GIP) and political and intellectual debates that animated the 1970s. His philosophical writings attest to his “rebel” spirit and his aversion to all forms of power and oppression.
