The purpose of this study was to explain the faculty development based on spirituality in Qom University. The research method is applied and descriptive. The statistical population of the study consists of all faculty members of Qom University (N = 284). Sample size was calculated using Cochran's formula of 164 people who were studied by appropriate sampling method. Organizational spirituality questionnaire (α = 0.996) and faculty development questionnaire (α = 0.916) were used to collect data. Construct validity of the tool was verified by First order confirmatory factor analysis. The results of the One-Sample T Test showed that the faculty development in Qom University and the four their components, individual spirituality and their sub-components were higher than the average, but the organization-based spirituality was less than average Among the components of organizational-centered spirituality, spirituality-based leadership is equal to, and other sub-components below the theoretical average. Pearson correlation coefficients indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between individual and organization-based spirituality and the faculty development and their components. The results of structural equation modeling indicate that the model of the role of individual spirituality and organization-based spirituality in the faculty development. Organization-based Spirituality also has a greater impact on the faculty development in Qom University (γ = 0/47).

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting organizational spirituality in the units of Tehran University of Applied Science and Technology. The statistical population of the qualitative section was 10 academic experts and experts who were selected by purposeful sampling. In the qualitative part, among the statistical population of 3950 employees, 354 persons were selected using multistage cluster random sampling. Librarian method, semi-structured interview and researcher-made questionnaire were used for data collection. In order to evaluate the interview reliability, test-retest reliability and in-subject agreement method were used. Face validity, content, and construct validity were also used to assess the validity of the researcher-made questionnaires. Cronbach's alpha coefficient and composite reliability coefficient (both greater than 0.5) were used to assess the reliability of the questionnaire. The measuring tool was. Background and Objective: Universities of medical sciences are the pioneers of improving health and prompting science, and faculty members are considered their most valuable assets. Therefore, spirituality in the university environment can improve general health and reduce occupational stress. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of organizational spirituality with general health and occupational stress of faculty members of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences. Method: This research is a descriptive-correlation study. The statistical population consisted of all faculty members, 132 of whom were randomly selected. The questionnaire of spirituality in the workplace was occupational stress and general health scale. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. In this research, all the Ethical issues were observed and authors declared no conflicts of interest. Results: The organizational spirituality enhances general health and reduces occupational stress (P>0/05). The meaningful factors of work, the sense of correlation and the alignment with organizational values were significantly affected by β=0.25, β=0.27, β=0.26, on general health at the level of 5%, as well as the components of spirituality in the work environment, there is a significant effect on occupational stress with β=-0.17, β=-0.18, respectively. The correlation coefficient between organizational spirituality and general health is 0.60 and in case of job stress is -0.39. That means with increase of organizational spirituality, general health also increases and subsequent job stress decreases. Conclusion: The results show that the organizational spirituality raises general health and reduces occupational stress. Therefore, it is recommended that directors and faculty members of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences should promote the quality of spirituality at university level by implementing pathology and development programs. Humans can find personal significance through work, and so work can be considered as the foundation and center of human life. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to investigate how the personal and organizational spirituality of nurses can improve the perception of meaningful work and job engagement. The statistical population of the study consisted of all nurses working in Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences in 2019, which 270 of them were selected applying cluster random sampling. The research instruments included individual spirituality questionnaire, organizational spirituality questionnaire, utrecht work engagement questionnaire and meaning of work questionnaire. Data was analyzed using Lisrel 8.8 software and by structural equation modeling approach.Findings indicate that although individual spirituality does not enhance nurses' experiences of meaningful work, this construct (Z=.29, T= 4.05), together with organizational spirituality (Z=.31, T= 4.27), can be considered as antecedents of job engagement. Finally, the evidence confirms the relative mediating role of meaning of work in the relationship between organizational spirituality with job engagement in the study population (= 5.09, T 1.96). According to the findings of this study, if managers of health centers seek to enhance the meaning of work experience and job engagement as a result of it in their nursing staff, they should first focus on spiritual orientation in organizational culture and then on improving the spiritual health of their staff.

Purpose: This research aims to identify and prioritize factors affecting organizational spirituality in public libraries of Yazd city in Iran. Methodology: The present work is an applied research. We used survey method for data collection and analysis and our tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The research sample of the work can be divided in two parts. In part one, we chose 111 public librarians randomly to get their viewpoints for identification of factors affecting organizational spirituality in public libraries. We used factor analysis to identify and categorize the main elements. In part two, for prioritization of extracted elements, we chose 10 experienced faculty members and asked them to classify the aforementioned elements. We used interpretive structural modeling (ISM) for classification of elements and structural equation modeling (SEM) for approval of relationships among them. Findings: Results showed that 8 elements namely content, structure, leadership, culture, faith and motivation playing principal role in constructing a spiritual space in public libraries. Other findings showed that there were meaningful relationships among these elements. The results of interpretive structural modeling also indicated that leadership had the highest leverage and the minimum dependency among other 7 key factors. Then, this factor was underlying and basic factor of spiritual space in public libraries. Originality/Value: This research has tried to identify the main elements of organizational spirituality on the basis of public librarians of Yazd city. The leadership factor identified as an underlying factor of organizational spirituality then Iran Public Libraries Foundation needs to take more attention toward it.

The population of this study was consisted of 500 nurses that 200 of them were selected through accessible sampling method as sample for this study. The purpose of the present study was to ascertain the relationship of organizational commitment with job burnout and organizational spirituality between Zahedan and Gorgan post office employees. The sample size consisted of 200 post office employees (100 from Zahedan and 100 from Gorgan) that were selected randomly for this study. Organizational Commitment Scale, Job Burnout, and Organizational Spirituality Questionnaire were used to collect the data. Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise regression, uni-variate regression and Independent t-test were applied to analyze the data. Results revealed that normative commitment and overall scores of organizational commitment had significant negative correlation with emotional exhaustion. Continuance commitment, normative commitment, and overall scores of organizational commitment had significant negative correlation with depersonalization. Personal accomplishment had significant positive correlation with continuance, normative and overall scores of organizational commitment. Results demonstrated that organizational spirituality had significant correlation with all dimensions of organizational commitment. Stepwise regression illustrated that personal accomplishment accounted 6.1% of the variance in continuance commitment and it was a positive predictor for continuance commitment. Depersonalization accounted 20.4% of the variance in normative commitment and it was a negative predictor. Results revealed that depersonalization and personal accomplishment together accounted 12.9% of the variance in overall scores of organization commitment; depersonalization was a negative predictor while personal accomplishment was a positive predictor. Results of the uni-variate regression showed that organizational spirituality could predict positively all dimensions of organizational commitment. Results of t-test revealed that there was no significant difference between Zahedan and Gorgan post office employees on organizational commitment dimensions, job burnout and organization spirituality

According to the management specialists, the survival and success of the modern organizations rely on the creation, preservation and continuity of the competitive advantages. The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of organizational spirituality, a variable in scope of intangible assets, on sustainable competitive advantage. The effect of organizational spirituality on human resources specifications and its consequences in the organizations have been proved. This research is applied and it is descriptive and survey from data collection type .The data were collected by organizational spirituality questionnaire based on Millman model and competitive advantage author made questionnaire. The statistical population consists of stuff of 37 Bank Maskan branches in Tabriz. The statistical volume was determined 170 individuals by using Cocran formula in confidence level of %95 that they were selected randomly. The results of structural equations modeling with AMOS 21 showed that organizational spirituality by recognition coefficient of %44 is the predictor of sustainable competitive advantage. So, Bank Maskan should adopt proper strategies in order to promote organizational spirituality and its components particularly values alignment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this research was development of an organizational spirituality theory from the perspective of Nahjolbalagheh. For this, first the Sermons, Letters and Sayings of Nahjolbalagheh and the key points related to the concept of organizational spirituality were investigated and extracted. Next, scrutinizing these ideas and arguments and by focusing on the common characteristics between them, the themes of research were compiled in 21 phrases. Finally, by considering these themes and their subject matters, an organizational spirituality theory was developed from the perspective of Nahjolbalagheh based on systematic design of grounded theory. This theory included central category (God-centered), causal factors (belief, action and self-scrutiny), strategies and interactions (training and improvement, supervision and consultation), context (law-abiding), intervening conditions (self-progress and managerial power) and outcomes (commitment, useful interaction, organizational justice and social justice). Regarding the importance of nationalization of management theories and issues and with an emphasis on Islamic management in order to prevention from occurrence of conflict in ideological and administrative foundations of managers and employees, results of this research helps present national theoretical knowledge improve. Findings can also be used as a basis for evaluation of spirituality and its application in organizations.
