In paper artworks conservation, wet cleaning treatments are usually performed to remove substances other than the original one and to release the adhesive substances for reattach treatment. For this it is important and technical to adjust and control the degree of wetness of the paper. Especially in the case of treatment for damaged paper, the risks of historical artifact being damaged by water and the historically important information being lost increase. The rigid hydrogels of gellan gum, which is a natural polysachalide, can be effectively used to minimize such impact of water on paper. The present study evaluates the analytical study of residues and impact through accelerated ageing on paper samples after wet treatment by means of gellan gum application.The residues of wet treatment by gel of gellan gum, which are potassium, calcium, and acetic acid ions, could be detected from Whatman paper. The pH of both Whatman paper and kozo paper treated with gel tends to be a little higher than that of paper with direct wet treatment. However, when the gel is washed with ultrapure water before gel wet treatment, the residue derived from gellan gum gel is dramatically reduced or not detected. Moreover, pH of the paper treated with washed gel shows almost the same value as paper treated with direct wet treatment as control. It is revealed that washing gel of gellan gum before using it for wet treatment of paper is effective because it does not leave residue derived from the gel. Some kinds of paper samples treated with non-washed gel are influenced in the value of pH, discoloration, and physical strength after hygrothermal ageing. However, when the paper samples are first treated with washed gel their physical characteristics change in the same way as the paper treated with direct water as a control. That is, washing gel is effective in avoiding the negative influence on paper after gel wet treatment.

The aim of this paper is to report the academic results of the three-year joint research project (funded by the Institute for Comparative Studies of Culture, Tokyo Womanʼs Christian University, from 2013 to 2015) about a synthetic study of crêpe-paper books in modern Japan. The authors of this paper discuss the unique publication of crêpe-paper books in the late nineteenth century and the early twentieth century from the three points of view that were taken in the research: morphological features of the crêpe-paper books, their significance in the history of printing and publication in modern Japan, and their remarkable aspects in cultural contexts. In addition to reporting the results of the study at the Institute for Comparative Studies of Culture at Tokyo Womanʼs Christian University, the paper proposes some of the possible steps for further research in this field.Although the publication of the crêpe-paper books we have focused on is mainly owed to the superb capacity of a single publisher, Takejiro Hasegawa (1853-1936), the publication has great cultural importance and global influence worthy of special attention. Making full use of the traditional techniques of wood-block printing on Japanese paper and its effective pressing, Hasegawa successively published Japanese fairy tales and numerous guides for Japanese culture in English and other European languages. Some excellent Japanese-style artists and illustrators who were trying to harmonize their works with the newly introduced European style participated in Hasegawaʼs project and they successfully demonstrated the happy blending of texts and illustrations in the type pages. Many overseas scholars, diplomats, and their families such as Julia D. Carrothers, B. H. Chamberlain, David Thompson, J. C. Hepburn, Lafcadio Hearn, E. F. Fenollosa, Kate James (Mrs. T. H. James), K. A. Florenz, Jules Adam and Joseph Dautremer, who all stayed in Japan from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century, helped Hasegawa to realize his project and his network of those people well substantiated his enterprising publication of wood-block-illustrated crêpe-paper books.The uniqueness of Hasegawaʼs project can be observed in its mixture of tradition and innovation. He actively used traditional techniques of Japanese wood-block-illustrated printing, old tales in Japan, and many retrospective scenes of Japanese society; at the same time, however, he adopted the texts in English and other European languages for his books, and actively opened up the routes for sales network in Europe and America. His crêpe-paper books are also unique in the history of language education in modern Japan. It is certain that Hasegawaʼs project did not follow the trend of the times―mass production of Japanese books by newly introduced movable-type printing―and the governmental principle of the use of Japanese in the education of foreign languages gradually narrowed the Japanese market for Hasegawaʼs books. But his project at the beginning of modern Japan still radiates its brilliance in the cultural contexts of modern Japan and, in fact, his beautiful crêpe-paper books have been highly valued in Western countries. For the evaluation of this project and its production, this paper claims the necessity of some actual steps for further research. Among them are: making an integral bibliography based on large collections in and outside Japan; synthetic examinations of traditional techniques, visual images, complicated processes of the formation of texts, and cultural influences; and research in the contemporary and global reputation of Hasegawaʼs project and its heritage.

Trick Reality is a technique that makes real things seems as if they are moving in reality. In Trick Reality, a high-level programming language for editing line art is introduced, and makes it possible for line ars to be seen as if transforming. In the conventional method, programs are described in ordinary text style on system side, which prohibits using the functionality on end-user side. In this research, we propose a line-art-style programming language written on paper in the same way as the contents that manipulates the edited contents of line art. In this method, a function to edit line art has been added to the "line art". By using this method, the line art itself actually written has a function to edit the line art, so that the descriptive power of end-user’s line art is extended.

〈Abstract〉In the present study, quantitative analysis of single nucleotide mutated genes by allele specific real time PCR using phosphorothioate primers and DNA polymerases is described. DNA polymerases involve taq DNA polymerases （TaKaRa Taq PolymeraseTM and HiDi PolymeraseTM） which do not have 3’-exonuclease activity and HiFi taq DNA polymerase （TaKaRa Ex Taq PolymeraseTM） which has 3’-exonuclease activity, namely proofreading activity. Consequently, accuracy of discrimination of single base mutation was not so high in the PCR using TaKaRa Taq PolymeraseTM and TaKaRa Ex Taq PolymeraseTM. On the other hand, HiDi PolymeraseTM showed high accuracy of discrimination of single base mutation between KRAS wt and KRAS G12D model DNA templates.

〈Abstract〉The purpose of this study is to clarify effects of flood disaster experience on disaster prevention consciousness and activities, the local community, and to get basic knowledge for the formation of the local disaster prevention. As a result of having carried out questionary survey targeting at the inhabitants on the river basin of the Onga River system of Nogata-city where there was the flood damage in the past, the following things became clear. Having damaged experience or not and degree of the damaged experience, there is a difference in disaster prevention consciousness and activities, way of thinking about evacuation behavior and the rescue operation, and the local community life. The person with the strong disaster experience is positive generally in all. The fact that there is not a little a damaged experient in an area is connected in bringing up the leaders of the disaster prevention organization which became independent, if they can share the knowledge from experience in an area. To that end, it becomes important that they maintain the present community life and succeed.

〈Abstract〉VRIC map is a framework to visualize invisible strategic logic. I already analyzed the cases of the retailers and manufacturers by VRIC map in order to confirm its effectiveness. Here, IBJ’s case is analyzed in order to confirm its effectiveness for pure service companies. Thus VRIC map can be applied not only to retailers and manufacturers but also to service companies

In this report, with the aim of improving presentation skills, the methodology of collecting information and compiling a story and the one of creating speech memos were summarized for the preparatory stage. The design of each slide will be described in Part 2 as a follow-up report.

竹内俊隆教授退職記念論文集, In Honor of Prof. Toshitaka TAKEUCHI, Is there a newly formed concept interpretable as a basis for Japan’s security policy that has been becoming prominent since the Gulf War? This study empirically examines this question without focusing on specific concepts such as the “Dynamic Defense Force” and the “Dynamic Joint Defense Force” recently introduced by Japan’s Ministry of Defense. By primarily applying random forest, a machine learning algorithm, to the Defense White Papers published by the Ministry between 1970 and 2016, the present author finds it difficult to identify such a concept.

本研究は，理系大学院生が英語で執筆した論文に見られる連結語（transitions）と単語連鎖（lexical bundles）の特徴を，Nature, Science, Cellに掲載されている論文における使用と比較することによって明らかにすることを目的とする。それぞれの論文をコーパス化し，出現する連結語と単語連鎖を対象に相関分析，χ二乗検定，コレスポンデンス分析を実施した。その結果，理系大学院生は連結語の使用が限定的であることが判明した。単語連鎖は，it is 形容詞+ to不定詞構文，in this section, in this paperといったこれから行う研究や分析について宣言を表明する表現や，as described in materials, shown in tableといった他の部分の情報を示す表現の多用が認められた。

[概要]オンラインによる体験型科学実験を児童生徒の自宅および集合した会場で実施した。児童生徒の斬新なアイデアによる実験結果が見られ、リアル体験科学実験の際は難しかったが、全員が実験結果の口頭発表が出来た。オンラインおよびリアル体験科学実験の3 種の長短を比較した。オンライン体験実験の成果からリアル体験実験に於いても検討すべき事項が明らかになった。Online experimental science classes were held at student’s homes and in assembly halls. The experimental results of some students were innovative. All students were able to give an oral presentation of their experimental results within the online classes, even though they were difficult in the real experimental science classes. We compared the advantages and disadvantages of the three types of online and real-experience science classes. Furthermore, we clarified the important points to be considered in the real experience science classes by comparing the results.

[要旨]牛乳中にはα ラクトアルブミンやβ ラクトグロブリンのように脂肪酸を結合するタンパク質が多いことが知られており、栄養成分の生体内への輸送を担っていると考えられる。加えてこれらのタンパク質と脂肪酸が結合し、HAMLET という抗腫瘍活性を示す複合体を形成することも報告されている。これらの脂肪酸とタンパク質の相互作用は特異的ではなく、タンパク質分子は三次構造が緩んだ中間状態をとると考えられている。ここでタンパク質の脂肪酸結合の量や結合機構を制御することで、輸送機能や牛乳の栄養価の増強、抗腫瘍能の強化が期待される。これまで我々は、タンパク質の機能や構造、安定性や運動性に対する圧力の効果を調べてきた。圧力はタンパク質の運動性を変化させたり、酵素活性を上昇させたりすることが示されている。そこで、この脂肪酸結合の圧力効果の理解のために我々はウシβ ラクトグロブリン(βLG)の脂肪酸結合の圧力効果についての知見を得ることを目指した。高圧NMR とそのデータ解析の結果、高圧条件下では、常圧と同じバレル内空洞への結合に加え、加圧によって引き起こされたβLG の部分変性に伴い、新たに結合部位が生じることが示唆された。これらの結果は、高圧処理によるタンパク質機能の改変にひとつの応用可能性を示唆したと考えられる。[Abstract] Cow’s milk contains many fatty-acid binding proteins, such as α-lactalbumin (αLA), fatty acid binding protein (FABP), and β-lactoglobulin (βLG). It is assumed that they transport nutrition components around the body. In addition, αLA was reported to associate with oleic acid to form anti-tumor complexes, so called HAMLET (human α-lactalbumin made lethal to tumor cells). In these complexes, the interaction between protein and fatty acid is not specific and protein assumes intermediate state with a loosely packed tertiary structure. If we can modify the binding amount of the fatty acids and the binding mechanism, we will be able to enhance the nutrition transport activity and the anti-tumor activity. We have been investigating the pressure effects on function, structure, dynamics and stability of protein molecules. It is known that the pressure application modifies the protein dynamics and enhances enzymatic activity. In this report, we investigated the pressure effect on the fatty acid binding reaction of βLG. High-pressure NMR measurements told us that, under ambient pressure, only fatty acid binding to the internal cavity of βLG was observed whereas, at higher pressure, fatty acid also bound to another binding site of βLG. It is assumed that pressure application induced partial unfolding of βLG, which generated a new binding site. The present result will provide a possibility of a new application of pressure to modify the functionality of proteins, especially fatty acid-binding of milk proteins.

[要旨]豆乳発酵性の乳酸菌2 株（Sakura2 株とSakura9 株）をヤエザクラの花より単離した。16S リボソームRNA 遺伝子配列から、Sakura2 株はStreptococcus salivarius、Sakura9 株はEnterococcusfaecium であると推定された。これらの2 株は、検討した条件において、豆乳をそれぞれ3.42 ± 0.17、4.33 ± 0.25 時間（平均±標準偏差）で凝固させることができた。比較に用いたLactobacillus 属、Leuconostoc 属、Streptococcus 属の菌株では、同条件で2 倍ないしはそれ以上の発酵時間を要した。マウス脾臓細胞を用いたインターフェロンγ産生促進試験においては、Sakura2 株とSakura9株の加熱死菌体は、市販ヨーグルトに使用されているプロバイオティクス乳酸菌株の死菌体に比較してより強い促進活性が見られた。Th1 サイトカインであるインターフェロンγの産生を促進したことから、本菌を用いて調製された豆乳発酵食品を経口摂取することで細胞性免疫の活性化効果とアレルギーの抑制効果が期待できる。[Abstract] Two soymilk fermentable lactic acid bacteria, strains Sakura2 and Sakura9, were isolated from cherry blossoms “Yaezakura”. From the 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing, it was estimated that the Sakura2 strain was Streptococcus salivarius and the Sakura9 strain was Enterococcus faecium. In both strains, soymilk could be coagulated in 3.42 ± 0.17 and 4.33 ± 0.25 hours (mean ± SD), respectively, under the conditions examined. Several strains of the genera Lactobacillus, Leuconostoc and Streptococcus used for comparison required twice or more fermentation time under the same conditions. In the interferon-γ production promoting test using mouse spleen cells, the heat-killed cells of both strains showed stronger promoting activity than the heat-killed cells of the probiotic lactic acid bacterial strains used in commercial yogurt. Since these strains promoted the production of interferon-γ, which is a Th1 cytokine, it is expected that fermented soymilk foods prepared using these bacteria exert cell-mediated immunity activation and antiallergic activity when taken orally.

本研究では、同一の日本語学習者1 名を対象に2015年11月から2019年８ 月まで実施した論文読解過程の調査のデータから、英語を母語とする非漢字系日本語学習者が論文を読む過程で読点をどのようにとらえて読む手がかりにしているかについて考察する。学習者が読点についてコメントした発話を分析した結果、論文を読む力が伸びるにしがたって読点が意識されるようになること、読点使用の規則を理解したいと考えていることがわかった。また、連用節の境界を示す読点は理解しやすく有効な読む手がかりとなりやすい反面、読点が係り受けを明確にする役割を果たしていることは認識されていないことが示唆された。係り受けが複雑な構文を正しく把握するために、係り受けを明確にするために読点が使われることを知る必要がある。

高齢化問題は中国においても大きな社会問題である。コミュニティ養老（介護）を考える中国にとって高齢者ボランティアの育成が必要ではないかと考えられる。本論文では高齢者問題の“先進国” である日本における高齢者ボランティア研究の現状の理解と政策的課題を剔出することを目的とする。 日本における高齢者ボランティアについての既存の論考を整理して分析した。具体的には「高齢者の社会活動」に関する研究、「高齢者のボランティア活動の動機及び継続性」、「高齢者ボランティア活動の健康に及ぼす影響」などに分けて述べる。「高齢者の社会活動」には親しい友人や仲間の多さ、活動参加に誘われることが社会活動の促進要因となっていること。「高齢者のボランティア活動の動機及び継続性」については要因間の分析について本文にみるような複数の見解がある。「高齢者ボランティア活動の健康に及ぼす影響」については、高齢者のボランティア活動は高齢者自身の心理的な健康度を高めるというような指摘が注目される。

[要旨]241Amは原子炉運転中の核燃料或いは使用済燃料中に含有されている半減期が432.6年のα核種である。241Amの中性子捕獲断面積は大きな事から原子炉の核設計上、考慮すべき要な核種である。一方、核分裂断面積については捕獲断面積と比較し小さいが、高速炉や加速器駆動未臨炉での核変換の対象となっていることから、核分裂断面積の高精度化は重要である。そこで、本研究では241Am核分裂断面積の精度向上の観点から、京都大学臨界集合体実験装置にH/235Uが約49の炉心を構築し241Am/235U核分裂率比を測定した。その結果、241Am/235U核分裂率比として0.0451±0.0002を得た。MVP3.0とJENDL-4.0を用いた場合、そのC/E値は0.986±0.004であった。更に異なる核データライブラリに収納されている241Am断面積がC/E値に与える影響を検討するために、241Amのみ使用する断面積をJENDL-4.0からENDF/B-VII.1またはJEFF-3.2に変更した計算を実施した。その結果、ENDF/B-VII.1を用いた場合は0.975±0.004、JEFF-3.2を用いた場合は0.954±0.004であった。[Summary] 241Am is an α-nuclide with a half-life of 432.6 years, which is contained in nuclear fuels during reactor operation and spent fuels. 241Am is one of the important nuclides in the nuclear design of nuclear reactor because of its large neutron capture cross section. On the other hand, the fission cross section of 241Am is smaller than the capture cross section, but it is important to improve the accuracy of the fission cross section because 241Am is a target nuclide of transmutation in fast reactors and accelerator-driven systems.In the present study, a critical core with about 49 of H/235U nuclide ratio in the Kyoto University Critical Assembly was constructed and 241Am/235U fission rate ratio was measured. As a result, the measured 241Am/235U fission rate ratio was 0.0451 ± 0.0002. The C/E value with MVP3.0 and JENDL-4.0 lead to 0.986 ± 0.004. On the other hand, the further MVP3.0 calculations, where only the 241Am cross sections were taken from JENDL-4.0, ENDF/B-VII.1 or JEFF-3.2 all other nuclides were done from JENDL-4.0, were carried out to examine an impact of the difference of 241Am cross section among these nuclear libraries to the fission rate ratio. The C/E values calculated with respective 241Am cross sections from ENDF/B-VII.1 and JEFF-3.2 were 0.975±0.004 and 0.954±0.004, respectively.

書評, This book review aims to provide a supplementary explanation of the textbook entitled New Express Plus Esperanto (Esperanto primer). The textbook is written with native speakers of Japanese in mind. There are explanations of the pronunciation mistakes that they unconsciously make. Some explanations take into consideration the difference between Esperanto and English because the latter is the first foreign language for most of the Japanese learners of Esperanto. In this review, some grammatical issues that may not have been mentioned, due to space constraints, are discussed. The latest information on the Pasporta Servo, a hospitality exchange service popular among Esperanto speakers, is provided as well.

本研究の目的は、特別支援学校に求められるセンター的機能に関する研究の動向から、センター的機能に関する研究の全体像を理解し、どのようなところに関心が向けられ、研究がなされてきたかを明らかにすることである。そして、特別支援学校におけるセンター的機能の充実を図るうえで、スクールソーシャルワーカー（以下、SSW）が担うべき役割について考察する。論文タイトル151を対象に、テキストマイニングの手法を用いて分析を行った。結果、頻出150語からは、センター的機能に求められる6つの機能に関連する用語として上位に「連携（19）」「小・中学校（23）」「学級（15）」が挙げられた。共起ネットワークにおいては主に【助言・援助機能】【連携・調整機能】【研修機能】にまつわるカテゴリーが抽出された。現在は、センター的機能の現状や課題を明らかにすることに目が向けられていること、6つの機能の中では特に小中学校への支援機能に関心が向けられていることが明らかとなり、福祉、医療、労働などの関係機関等との連絡・調整機能については、あまり研究がされてこなかったことが示された。

運動イメージには，一人称イメージと三人称イメージがある．実際の治療場面では，鏡に映った被験者自身や隣坐する療法士または被験者自身の足を見つつ治療を行う場合が多い．今回我々は，あらかじめ撮影した被験者自身の一人称イメージ映像と被験者自身の三人称イメージ映像を用意し，被験者自身の三人称イメージ映像の模倣運動と被験者自身の一人称映像の模倣運動を行い，脳の活動部位の比較を行った．その結果，被験者自身の三人称イメージ映像を用いて模倣運動課題を行った場合，被験 者自身の一人称イメージ映像を用いて模倣運動課題を行った場合と比較して，右舌状回が有意に活動増加した．我々の先行研究でも、被験者自身の三人称イメージ映像を用いて模倣運動課題を行った場合，第三者の一人称イメージ映像を用いた模倣運動課題と比較して，右舌状回が有意に活動増加した．このことは，右舌状回は自己の三人称映像に特有に反応する部位と考える．つまり，舌状回は，視覚的意味を認識し上位中枢へと中継することを示唆する．この活動増加により，鏡に映った被験者自身の画像と被験者自身もしくは隣坐する療法士の下肢画像と見比べつつ治療を行うことは，自己の身体認知への概念形成に関与すると考える．

本稿では，北海道文教大学における教育改革プロジェクト「ENIWA 学」の実践，特に地域のホールにおいて，地域の自然と歴史を題材とした『漁川物語』を朗読劇として上演する文化活動を対象とし，その活動過程における学生の経験と，教員の支援のあり方を，各種の記録をもとに分析し，明らかにした．その結果，第一，学生は地域の歴史や文化に接し，朗読劇を上演する活動を通して，地域の人々と交流し，地域に対する認識を深めた．第二，第一と関連し，その経験を通して学生は，上演という目的に向かって仲間と力を合わせ協働するモチベーションを徐々に高めていった．第三，プロジェクトの実施により，大学教育を地域に開かれ，文化を創造していくための場とする方法を示した．次に，研究の結果明らかになった教員の支援に関する課題を，以下二点にまとめる．第一，学生がより一層主体的に地域文化の創造に参画するための支援のあり方を検討していくこと．第二，学生が地域文化の創造に向かって，モチベーションと協働性をさらに高めていくことができるような支援を構築していくことである．具体的には準備段階から地域の人々と連携していく機会を増やしていく支援の実践に課題がある．

本研究では，統合失調症に対する作業療法，および作業療法士が実施している心理社会的介入の内容と有効な側面を概観し、今後の実践と研究の方向性を検討するために，英語論文のレビューを実施した。3種類の検索データベースとハンドサーチにて論文を収集し 2 段階のスクリーニングを経た結果，34 編が分析対象となった。その内訳は，「作業活動・作業療法マネジメント」9 編，「手段的日常生活活動訓練」2 編「認知機能リハビリテーション」9 編，「運動療法」2 編，「心理教育・技能訓練」4 編，「就労支援」5 編，「地域生活支援」3 編であった。各介入の主な治療標的に加え精神症状や QOL など様々な側面への効果が示されていたが，特に認知機能は作業療法士による多くの介入で効果を示す重要な治療標的であることが示唆された。さらに，今後の実践や研究で作業に関する指標を扱うことで，作業療法の独自性やさらな効果を示すことにもつながると考える。
