This bronze plaque, found in 1879, contains two monetary deposits made by an individual named Zeuxias at the sanctuary of Olympia in the second half of the fifth century BC. It constitutes one of the few preserved documents of this type, making it a valuable testimony of banking activities at Panhellenic sanctuaries. Due to the fragmentary status of the text, a comparison with other analogous inscriptions and literary testimonies is here offered, with the aim of casting some light on the reason behind the deposit, and the formulaic language used.

Este artigo investiga a questão da responsabilidade civil dos apoiadores na tomada de decisão à luz da Lei 13.146/2015, que confere capacidade civil às pessoas com deficiência. No âmbito da tomada de decisão apoiada, as pessoas com deficiência podem nomear apoiadores para assegurar a plena e segura realização de seus direitos. Contudo, a legislação não aborda detalhadamente a responsabilidade civil dos apoiadores, o que suscita a possibilidade de responsabilização por danos a terceiros, desde que se evidencie má-fé por parte dos apoiadores.

The petrochemical industry heavily relies on steam reforming furnaces for large-scale hydrogen production. Centrifugally cast HP stainless-steel tubes constitute the majority of components in these furnaces, enduring temperatures ranging from 600 to 1000 ºC for extended periods. These tubes manifest distinct aging states, characterized by specific microstructural markers linked to the exposed wall temperature. Given their significant cost and importance, monitoring the service life of these tubes is crucial. The current aging state is particularly relevant due to the correlation between creep damage and advanced aging stages. Hence, this study aims to assist in assessing the remaining life of HP stainless-steel tubes by employing a portable Eddy Current Testing (ECT) inspection system, coupled with real-time Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification of aging states. Two 12.6-meter-long tubes, aged for 160,000 hours, underwent inspection using the portable ECT inspection system to evaluate the progression of aging states along their height, considering the expected vertical temperature gradient. Results underscore the efficacy of the SVM classification in identifying the various aging states present along the studied tubes, highlighting promising in situ applications.

El propósito de este artículo es analizar la forma en la que thriller e idiosincrasia cultural se combinan en tres películas españolas, Nadie conoce a nadie, Grupo 7 y Adiós, que transcurren íntegramente en Sevilla. Aunque estos filmes cumplen las reglas del género criminal, son permeados por el profundo bagaje que posee la capital andaluza en el imaginario colectivo. Con el fin de descifrar las claves de su representación, se parte de la propuesta de análisis textual del espacio como personaje de Casetti y Di Chio (1991), reformulada en Toscano-Alonso, Raya Bravo y Pacheco-Jiménez (2021), sin dejar de lado los tópicos del thriller, que acaban moldeando tres películas profundamente enraizadas en el género pero también arraigadas en la ciudad.

In recent decades, sedentary behavior (SB) has come to be understood as an important public health problem. The confinement imposed by the COVID-19 has modified people’s lifestyle, including increased time in SB, which is a risk factor for several health problems. In this context, the aim of this study was to analyze the association between sociodemographic, behavioral and health conditions factors with SB in adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an observational and cross-sectional study that analyzed 510 Brazilians aged ≥ 18 years. Participants answered an online questionnaire containing sociodemographic, behavioral and health status information. Individuals with high SB had a lower level of physical activity (PA), higher scores of anxiety, depression and stress, perception of poor health and health problems. In Logistic Regression, model 1 showed that being insufficientlyactive(OR 1.96; 95% CI: 1.31 – 2.93), having poor health perception (OR 1.67; 95% CI: 1.09 - 2.57) and having a health problem (OR 1.79; 95% CI: 1.19 - 2.68) was associated with high SB. However, for model 2, only insufficient levels of PA (OR 1.78; 95% CI: 1.15 – 2.75) and health problem (OR 1.83; 95% CI: 1.10 - 3.05) remained associated with SB. These findings highlight the importance of staying physically active and reducing SB as a strategy for health promotion.

La opinión pública se construye, en gran medida, por el aporte que hacen los medios de comunicación al publicar los hechos relevantes y opiniones de diversos actores sociales sobre los temas de contingencia. La opinión se vehicula no solo en los géneros periodísticos de opinión –editoriales, columnas– sino también en las noticias, que transmiten los puntos de vista de periodistas acerca de los acontecimientos, así como las opiniones de actores sociales que acceden, directamente o a través de citas, al espacio público. Como una forma de conocer la orientación de la opinión en un debate público según la audiencia a la que se dirige, proponemos caracterizar el flujo de opinión en las noticias de dos diarios de una misma empresa. El flujo de opinión es entendido como el conjunto de puntos de vista emitidos sobre un mismo tema que circulan en los textos periodísticos. Elegimos los diarios El Mercurio y Las Últimas Noticias porque siendo de la misma empresa, El Mercurio S. A. P., están dirigidos a públicos diferentes: el primero dirigido a un público de clase alta y media-alta y el segundo a uno de clase baja y media-baja. Para delimitar el tema, elegimos el debate público generado por el cuestionamiento al sistema previsional chileno. Al respecto nos preguntamos: ¿Qué diferencias hay en el flujo de opinión presentado en las noticias de dos diarios con distintas audiencias pertenecientes a una misma empresa periodística frente al debate público sobre el sistema previsional? Es así que investigamos el flujo de opinión a través del análisis de cuatro niveles: cobertura, voces, problemáticas y tipos de encuadre que recibe la opinión. Los resultados nos muestran diferencias sistemáticas en el flujo de opinión que se ofrece a una y otra audiencia en los cuatro niveles estudiados.

Investigamos postagens no Twitter com a expressão datapovo, que se popularizou no contexto das eleições presidenciais de 2022 no Brasil. O termo se refere a conteúdos que buscavam questionar as pesquisas eleitorais, em contraste com o registro imagético da multidão de apoiadores dos candidatos. Acionamos conceitos do pragmatismo e da semiótica, a fim de compreender como esses signos podem estimular a fixação de crenças de uma possível fragilidade no processo eleitoral. Levantamos também uma reflexão sobre a manipulação das imagens técnicas contemporâneas, fomentando debates sobre os efeitos sígnicos desse tipo de estratégia nos processos de desinformação.

La lectura y la escritura debieran ser para las naciones una prioridad, pues la investigación demuestra su relación directa con el desarrollo cultural, económico y humano de la sociedad. El dominio en las competencias de literacidad conduce a la construcción de estructuras para el diálogo, el reconocimiento de la diversidad, la autonomía y la acción ciudadana, característica que se aprende y se ejercita. A partir de una investigación sobre los resultados de un programa de impulso a la lectura aplicado en escuelas públicas de la periferia de la Zona Metropolitana de Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, se proponen los proyectos Letrados como artefactos culturales de mediación para la formación ciudadana desde la niñez. Desde la perspectiva sociocultural, en el marco de la literacidad ideológica y sobre la base del Aprendizaje Basado en proyectos (ABP), los proyectos Letrados son una oportunidad de articular significativamente las experiencias de literacidad con la formación ciudadana. Utilizando la literatura en todas sus variantes, ocho rasgos de los proyectos Letrados para la formación ciudadana se implican: La inquietud compartida, la conversación, las preguntas, la diversidad, la seguridad afectiva, la creatividad, la no-obligatoriedad, el proceso como producto y la orientación definida hacia la comunidad.

Neste trabalho são apresentados dados parciais de uma pesquisa de doutorado em andamento, visando apresentar uma análise sobre o uso de Tecnologias Educacionais Digitais, num curso de pós-graduação desenvolvido para atender professores da Educação Básica. O curso foi ofertado pela Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC), na modalidade EaD, no ano de 2020. Partimos do questionamento: Como a equipe de tutoria enfrentou os obstáculos decorrentes do período pandêmico, num curso de formação continuada para professores? Para responder esta questão usamos a pesquisa qualitativa. Os dados foram retirados de relatórios apresentados por tutores que participaram ativamente desta pós-graduação, em Ensino de Ciências, denominada “Ciência é dez!”. Como resultados parciais, evidenciamos as ações realizadas pela equipe participante do projeto, frente aos problemas e assuntos relatados pelos tutores em seus relatórios. E, assim, apontamos que os avanços da ciência e da tecnologia são inerentes à sociedade, pertinentes ao seu tempo histórico, deixando suas marcas em espaços e práticas educacionais.

The meanings of democratic participation in educational contexts are discussed in this text in the counter-hegemonic globalization weave of possibilities. The methodological pathway establishes a dialog among documentary and bibliographic studies and empirical data on the participation under the theoretical perspective of complex thinking and democratic justice. On the trails of counter-hegemonic globalization, conceptual argumentation and guidelines of educational and childhood policies indicate that participation is an essential element of praxis. In this context, participation acts as principle, strategy and result in the multidimensional configuration of emancipatory learning and the right to democratic education as a possibility of ensuring sustainability of human and planetary life conditions.

The present study presents some suggestions of Bill of Laws and Rules focused to promote gender equality in the Brazilian Legal Framework, elaborated by the Research Group in Gender Equality in Brazilian Civil Procedure of the Stricto Sensu PostGraduation Course in Law of the Rio de Janeiro State University, in order to surpass the structural inequality between men and women.

Este artigo elabora reflexões sobre os trajes da performance “A Public Cervix Announcement” (1990) de Annie Sprinkle (EUA) e os figurinos das encenações “Manga Rosa” (2015) de Lua Menezes para a Bololô Cia. Cênica (RN/Brasil) e “Stabat Mater” (2019) de Janaína Leite (SP/Brasil), pensando em como se apresentam as aparências desses corpos em cena e como elas dialogam e tensionam os julgamentos e violências sobre corpos de mulheres, a partir de vigilâncias moralistas. A escolha dessas obras ocorre pelas semelhanças estéticas que existem na concepção de seus figurinos, a partir das peças de roupas, da exposição de partes do corpo e de um diálogo com a temática do erotismo, do íntimo e da autobiografia. Além disso, é importante destacar que as três artistas em cena são mulheres brancas, cisgêneras e ocidentais, dessa forma, o modo como elaboram o corpo de mulher se relaciona com suas experiências subjetivas e sociais e não universaliza a experiência de ser mulher em uma sociedade.

In this article, I approach politics not as doctrines and ideologies, but as a succession of conflicts and performances, in which each moment is full of particular virtualities. The point of view adopted is that of the frontier, expressed on a local, national and global scale. The comparison between the current situation and the military dictatorship (1964-1985) runs through the entire text, where I describe the illegal policies and practices that accompany the official reopening of the frontier, also analyzing the contradictions that condition the possibility of its continuity.

Parte de pesquisa de mestrado, em andamento, neste artigo nos propomos analisar a relação que jovens mulheres estudantes estabelecem com a escola de Ensino Médio no contexto de pandemia. Questionamos de que modo se deu essa relação, partindo da hipótese de que a condição de gênero a afeta de forma singular, baseando-nos em um referencial feminista. Realizou-se entrevistas semiestruturadas com seis estudantes de 2º e 3º ano do Ensino Médio de escola pública de uma cidade de Minas Gerais. Desenvolve-se pelas seguintes categorias: A escola e o ensino remoto; A condição feminina e a relação com a escola na pandemia; Projeto de Futuro e a escola. Identificamos uma maior responsabilização das meninas em relação ao trabalho doméstico, que impactou fortemente na relação com os estudos neste período. Por sua vez, a sociabilidade aparece como componente central da relação positiva que estabelecem com a escola e foi fortemente atingida pela pandemia.

A filosofia da técnica de Bernard Stiegler mostra o caráter intrinsecamente trágico da evolução tecnológica, mas defende que é possível explorar a natureza ambivalente ou farmacológica dos instrumentos técnicos. Num primeiro momento, acompanha-se o seu percurso argumentativo, destacando o papel por ele atribuído aos instrumentos em geral na abertura da temporalidade extática, assim como o estatuto singular das técnicas de registo “ortotético”, como condição simultaneamente desestabilizadora e possibilitadora de uma consciência histórica e hermenêutica. Num segundo momento, mostra-se o que Stiegler considera ser o pharmakon fundamental do Antropoceno e a centralidade da questão da entropia e da neguentropia, para pensar uma possível saída para a catástrofe ambiental. Num terceiro momento, examina-se a crítica de Stiegler ao transumanismo e a sua proposta de uma negociação e composição entre a tradição humanista e o desenvolvimento tecnológico.

El estudio que aquí se reporta ofrece una versión de la historia del programa de Maestría en Educación Matemática del Instituto Pedagógico de Caracas, Venezuela (MEM-IPC), fundado en 1974 y actualmente vigente. Se detallan los pormenores de la creación de dicho programa con el propósito de ofrecer argumentos que muestren que este fue el primero de los programas de postgrado en Educación Matemática creados en América Latina.

A Constituição de 1967, em seu art. 150, previa Direitos Fundamentais e Garantias Individuais comuns a Estados Democráticos de Direito. Como a Ditadura Militar ficou marcada, antes e depois de 1967, pela cassação de direitos políticos, censura e violência estatal, buscamos aqui investigar a contradição da inserção de Direitos Fundamentais naquela constituição. Pretendemos demonstrar que o art. 150 servia como verniz liberal-burguês, refletindo a cultura jurídica dos legisladores em consonância com a retórica militar que buscava legitimar seus governos como uma forma especial de “democracia”, posto que representariam os anseios da sociedade brasileira por imposição de ordem e desenvolvimento por parte das Forças Armadas.

The game is one of the methodological principles that is identified with theories related to the constructivist current, founded by authors such as Vygotsky, Ausubel or Piaget, and which guides and frames project work. The game allows the child to act naturally, spontaneously, freely, safely, relaxedly, with possibilities for error and without criticism. Furthermore, it is a fundamental element of individual and progressive identity as it allows you to express and share ideas, contrast and test knowledge of yourself and your environment, being able to develop and consolidate them progressively. Being the gamethe methodological principleand the basis of thelearning processthat guides the teaching practice of the author of this work in Early Childhood Education, the modification of the play corner of the house, which until now existed, wascarried outand planning and launch arestaurantcorner. Theexperience was carried out with a group of 14 students or 4-year-old children from a fishing village on the ntabrian coast. The learning situations that occurred in the classroom were very diverse, having the child as the central axis and main protagonist, to guarantee their educational success. The role play that involves the organization of a restaurant corner in the class, led the children to have an ever deeper and more complete knowledge of themselves, to promote their personal autonomy, in addition to having a greater knowledge of the close environment and actively participate in it. Another result of the practice carried out was the development of different types of languages to express feelings, ideas, thoughts, etc., leading to reaching the final objective that was intended with the project.

Since the origin of Project Work dates back to 1577, it is now when it is being implemented within classrooms, completely changing the way of teaching and, therefore, of education. In it, the child acquires a series of skills that are not offered by traditional teaching: he is the protagonist, while enjoying autonomy, initiative and security. After having investigated the origins, characteristics and typologies of Project Work, the evaluation of its practical application is proposed based on a project carried out in the educational environment of a school in the city of Palencia-Spain, based on a real experience occurred during the Practicum III of the University of Valladolid, in an Early Infant Education classroom, with 25 students of 4 years. From this perspective, one responds to the approach: was project work really applied in the classroom, object of research? For the evaluation of the experience obtained, the criteria proposed by Jato (2015) are taken into consideration, which are based on the methodological principles of project work. The results indicate that the high motivating component of the tasks requested within this methodology, makes the students stay interested, active, critical and creative, while assuming responsibilities and roles with which to work cooperatively with others. people involved in the project. However, there is a great difference between the theoretical postulates and the observed practice, which leads to rethinking the need for a change in the teaching process, as well as a renewal of knowledge by teachers in order to adapt to the changes that suppose this new way of conceiving education.

Although for years ago, pedagogues and teachers have advocated more innovative methodologies than those that were being developed in schools, it is, at this moment, when most fervently, something is being removed in a large part of the teachers that are leading to wanting to change the current teaching-learning processes, wanting to innovate and trying new pedagogical approaches. Project work (PW) is a clear example of these new pedagogical perspectives that are increasingly being implemented in classrooms. Give theoretical foundation to this active and innovative methodology, theoretically support the teaching practice around project work and propose an intervention model based on the methodological principles that support it, are the general objectives or results expected at the end of the review process of the available evidence, on the relationship between the methodological principles that guideteaching practicefor the development of Project Work(construction ofsignificant learning, learning functionality, ability to learn to learn, modification of the knowledge schemes that the student already has intense activity on the part of the student -observation, experimentation, research-, individualization, socialization, positive self-concept, motivation, play, globalization) and the success of the teaching learning process. The search was concentrated on articles published between 1998 and 2017, which are synthesized in a table that examines interventions that have been carried out with the aim of promoting PW with the subsequent aim that it improves the teaching process- learning. The body of evidence reviewed yields results of interventions that have been proven to be effective in promoting PW within the curriculum of any educational level / modality, suggestingthat there is a causal relationship where PW predicts the success of the educational process (Funds were received from the MOBILITY RESEARCHERS UVa BANCO SANTANDER 2020).

Educating in values and providing primaryschoolstudents with skillsisan unavoidable educational duty. The aim of this paper is to create a programme for the conveyance of values and the acquisition of skills through theatre. The purpose will be to help teachers and tutors to introduce and develop the values and competencies proposed in the current legislation with a highly motivating activity increasingly recognized within the field of active methodologies. For this reason, we legally and theoretically justify the elements that define the Education in values; seek arguments and evidence that justify the use of the theatre as an introductory tool to the value-based teaching and learning process; and prove that the theatre is a highly motivating and unifying tool for the entire educational community throughout the the development of a proposal. In general terms, it can be observed that this activity makes students feel like protagonists, establishing and complying with rules and commitments that they themselves have set, improving the classroom climate.

The studies of training for teaching, in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education, have allowed to know different methodologies and educational models, as well as the learning of professional skills, attitudes and competences that are required to practice teaching. In the case of Project Work methodology, despite having its origin several centuries ago, it is currently booming in Spain, being implemented especially in Early Childhood education classrooms, so it has been decided to expand the information on this methodology. For this reason, it has been necessary to resort to the review of various studies and examples of practical applications, carried out in some educational centers. The selection criteria of the school selected for this study, was framed within the context of the choice of centers for the development of Practicum IIIat the University of Valladolid,after prior investigation of thosecenters wherethis methodology was worked and carried out. This is how the choice of school allowed both direct observation of teaching practice in an Early Childhood classroom with 22 4-year-old students, as well as an evaluation of the practical application of the Project Work Methodology, under the focus of the following approach: are the criteria that this methodology follows being met? During the observed practice, data were obtained and 8 criteria were constructed to assess the observed practice. Likewise, a proposal for improvement has been made based on what the author of this work has contrasted with the methodological principles for the application of Project Work, following a logical order according to the proposed evaluation criteria and responding to: What says the theory?, What was observed in the real practice of the classroom? and ‘the improvement proposal: What would I do?

One of the publicity tools used by British and then American suffragists was theatre. Suffragist theatre was written for a clear purpose, which was none other than political propaganda and performance as part of the campaign being conducted. In many cases, the plays performed reflected the situation in which women lived, denouncing their circumstances; in others, they were didactic works, explaining in a very simple and clear way the actions that were being carried out to secure women's rights.

O presente artigo propõe uma análise do atual desempenho do Supremo Tribunal Federal perante a sociedade. A atuação da Corte, além de contramajoritária, passou a ser também representativa, ao atender as demandas sociais não satisfeitas por aqueles eleitos por meio de um sistema majoritário. O “populismo” trazido ao Judiciário hodiernamente deve ser observado para que não haja qualquer desvio, devendo as decisões sempre serem pautadas no equilíbrio, na observância do cumprimento dos direitos fundamentais, nas normas, valores e princípios constitucionais, almejando sempre o bem social. Por meio da busca da efetivação dos direitos aumentou consideravelmente os números de demandas judiciais, e o Poder Judiciário, chamado a se manifestar para assegurar os direitos previstos nas leis, passa a dar a palavra final sobre questões políticas, sociais, econômicas ou morais, ocorrendo, assim, a judicialização. Lado outro, quando o seu papel é mais proativo e expansivo ao interpretar a Constituição o faz pelo ativismo judicial, os quais não se confundem. Sob esta ótica, busca-se demonstrar a importância da judicialização e do ativismo judicial e do equilíbrio que sempre deve ser observado para que o Estado continue sendo democrático, em que juízes, não eleitos, façam valer as leis, as quais foram elaboradas pelos representantes do povo, esses sim eleitos. Portanto, sempre que o Judiciário for chamado a se manifestar o deve fazer deve assegurar o bem de todos, respeitar a vontade da maioria, a qual faz viva a democracia.

Abstract This study mainly aimed to investigate how the relationships established at school affect the constitution of the self of autistic subjects. We carried out a multiple case study with children aged from seven to 14 years old enrolled in a public school that featured diverse profiles, with a total of 11 participants, such as teachers, coordinator, special education assistant (all of them women), as well as five autistic children (three boys and two girls) and two non-autistic girls. During the 6-month period, we conducted interviews with the adults, natural observations of school situations, and collaborative dynamics with the participating children. In light of theories from a dialogical-cultural perspective, it was possible to analyze our findings based on an I-positions framework, self positions, for each participant subject. From the convergence of each of the possible positions of all the subjects, we arrived at three axes of relationship: Playing, Helping, and Caring.

“Eugénio de Castro between Literature and Science: Orientalism as Collaboration” offers a case study of the fin-de-siècle works of Portuguese poet Eugénio de Castro (1869-1944) as illustrative of the aestheticization of scholarly/scientific knowledge about the East. This study is thus based on two premises: literary orientalism as a western discourse that feeds on a shared imaginary about the East, and scholarly/scientific orientalism as a specialized field of production, circulation and reception of knowledge (i.e. oriental studies). Based on Castro’s case study, I put forward the hypothesis of an interaction between the fields of literary production and scholarly/scientific orientalism under the framing concept of arrière-texte (Gladieu, Pottier and Trouvé 2013). In order to explore how Castro’s oeuvre may have been informed and shaped particularly by the work of Portuguese orientalists, without however disregarding his privileged connections to French orientalism, I propose a formal approach through the analysis of networks of collaboration. After briefly discussing the presence of the East in Castro’s fin-de-siècle work, I highlight the role played by the Curso Superior de Letras, a Lisbon-based school for higher education, in the poet’s orientalist training (1885-1889). This institutional setting enabled him to establish interpersonal networks, namely with Guilherme de Vasconcelos Abreu and Consiglieri Pedroso. These networks will be complemented with the analysis of plausible and (in)formal relationships, in particular with Francisco Maria Esteves Pereira, specialist in Ethiopian studies, as well as with the intellectuals Teófilo Braga and Joaquim Mendes dos Remédios. The purpose is to unveil the agencies, either manifest or latent, contributing to the poet’s creative process and who are part of his orientalist arrière-texte. Ultimately, this case study will show that orientalism is a collaborative system of knowledge production, circulation and reception between scientific institutions and the literary sphere.

RESUMO Este estudo tem como objetivo descrever como a área de História produz e compreende a seção de Introdução de artigos acadêmicos. Para tanto, apoiamo-nos em estudos de Swales (1990), no que se refere à sua concepção de gêneros e à sua proposta metodológica CARS (Create a Research Space). No que tange ao estudo sobre cultura disciplinar, contamos com as contribuições teóricas de Hyland (2000, 2009) e Bhatia (2004). Nossa pesquisa, de natureza exploratório-descritiva, apresenta um corpus de trinta artigos acadêmicos, distribuídos em quatro periódicos da área de História, com estratificação A1 conforme WebQualis Capes, vigência 2013-2016. De acordo com a investigação, percebemos que a Introdução de artigos acadêmicos da área em estudo se configura como uma seção extensa na qual os autores apresentam a contextualização do objeto de análise, a exposição de pesquisas prévias, a indicação dos objetivos do estudo e a apresentação dos aspectos metodológicos que viabilizaram a realização da pesquisa.

In order to know the different types of joint activities carried out by members of different generations, an online questionnaire was administered to a total of 2013 people. Of these, 608 were men and 1405 women. The questionnaire was designed after a review of the instruments used in the field of intergenerational work in various national and international studies. Online, potential participants were contacted to inform them about the purpose of the study and request their participation. The respondents gave their informed consent to participate in the work. Once the data were extracted and codified, the descriptive analyzes were carried out (tables of frequencies and percentages, means and standard deviations), the results of which are presented below. Tradicionalmente el discurso narrativo, poético o mítico ha servido de vehículo para trasmitir contenidos de orden teológico y metafísico. Es decir, el concepto necesita de la representación para un mejor y más profundo desarrollo temático. Un caso ejemplar de este fenómeno lo encontramos en el llamado swedenborgismo literario, esto es, en la utilización de la figura de Emanuel Swedenborg como motivo y argumento en poetas y novelistas. La pregunta es si el swerdenborgismo literario es tan solo un pretexto estilístico o bien obedece a razones de mayor calado filosófico o religioso. J. L. Borges se nos presenta como modelo de este planteamiento.

Constitution-making in Western Europe has shifted from the traditional post-war model and taken a deliberative turn, seeking full democratic legitimation, though most constitutional initiatives incorporating ordinary citizens have not been fully successful. To overcome this lack of efficiency, this article offers a normative model for deliberative constitution-building. The model formulates citizens deliberating systematically and massively in minipublics with formal institutions, epistemocracy, political parties, officials, and mass communication. It also transforms most of the normative ideals to those that can be regulated only by legal norms, avoiding dependence on citizens’ ethical behavior. Only a few of them remain as recommendations for political consensus before starting constitutional change. The first part of the article describes general issues related to constitution-building from a deliberative perspective, such as the strengths and weaknesses of minipublics, political commitment before starting, and the scope of the future constitution. The second one describes its practical deployment and the role of each actor such as the parliament or constituent assembly, political parties, scientific and monitoring committees, the executive operator, participants, and general public; the design of the deliberative system and how to frame the debate; massive deliberation in equatable minipublics and their link with politicians, public opinion, and representative institutions; and, finally their connection to posterior constitutional decision-making phases through accountability.

Abstract Migration has psychological impact on those that migrate, and on their families left behind. We evaluate an intervention program to strengthen individual, social, and family resources in 120 Mexican undergraduate students with migration in their families. The study was a quasi-experimental design. Data was gathered before, during, at the end, of the intervention and a year after. Depressive symptomatology, individual, social and family resources scales were evaluated. Participants increased their individual, social, and family resources, and decreased their depressive symptomatology more than the control group. We concluded that interventions within an educational and reflective open discussion space will help to address psychosocial problems in immigrant families member left behind.

El trabajo que se presenta tiene como objetivos reseñar y valorar la trayectoria deportiva y pedagógica de Ramón Alvaredo Rodríguez en el béisbol cubano; la figura objeto de estudio ha dedicado más de 30 años a la psicología del deporte y a pesar de desarrollar una meritoria labor en varias disciplinas deportivas, se destacan los aportes realizados por él en el béisbol cubano siendo el pionero en este sentido, además se realiza un acercamiento a su colaboración en otros países y su constante superación profesional. Para la obtención de la información se utilizaron los siguientes métodos científicos: analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo, histórico lógico; análisis de documentos, biográfico, historia de vida, entrevista y triangulación. Todo ello permite emitir valoraciones de los propios autores, compañeros de equipos, periodistas, comentaristas deportivos y familiares, sobre el trabajo desempeñado por Alvaredo y sus resultados en la preparación psicológica de los deportistas que lo han tenido a su lado; su accionar en la actividad agonística primero como pelotero y posteriormente como psicólogo lo convierten en una figura destacada de la provincia y el país en esta esfera, digno de ser estudiado yconocido. Abstract: The main objective of this work is to point out and to value the sports and pedagogical trajectory of Ramón Alvaredo Rodríguez in the Cuban baseball; the person who is been studied has dedicated more than 30 years to the sport psychology, and in spite of having developed a meritorious work in several sport disciplines, the most outstanding contribution carried out by him is in the Cuban baseball, being the pioneer in this sense, he has also made contributions during his collaboration in other countries and in his professional and constant studies. In order to gather the information different scientific methods were used. Among them: analysis and synthesis, inductive - deductive, the history of life, the interview, and the triangulation. All of this allows to emit valuations from: authors, teammates, journalists, sport and family commentators, and other people on the work carried out by Alvaredo and his results in the psychological preparation of the sportsmen that have had him to their side; his work in the agonistic activity, first of all as baseball player and later on as psychologist makes him as an outstanding personality in the province and in the country in this sphere, worthy of being studied and well-known.
