- Abstract
Education is Indonesia's most potential investment in optimizing human resources (HR) quality. The proliferation of school dropout rates has become an educational problem in some areas of Indonesia, including Benteng Village. According to the Precision Data of Benteng Village Monograph, in 2020, 316 people, or 4.29% of the population, were classified as school dropouts. This condition causes the community to have limited skills, preventing them from maximizing the potential resources available. Therefore, preventive measures are needed to address this issue. The presence of the Agricultural Literacy Corner (PELITA) becomes a holistic and adaptive solution for the government and other stakeholders in empowering the community. This initiative aims to create upskilling, reskilling, and newskilling for the community to utilize existing agricultural resources and create a sustainable, intelligent agricultural village. Activities are implemented through socialization, counseling, training, and practice based on the ToT (Training of Trainer) scheme. The achievement of the activities can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test dissemination analyzed using statistical tests. The results show an increase from the pre-test score (M=2.25) to the post-test score (M=7.95). This is supported by a p-value of 0.000 < 0.001, indicating that the increase is not coincidental and has statistical significance. Therefore, the actualization of PELITA is expected to continue continuously. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Education - Abstract
This study examines errors in interpreting the word “konteks” (context) and its equivalents in Merdeka Curriculum textbooks for Indonesian Language, Civic Education, and English Language subjects. Semantic ambiguity and inaccuracies in the use of this term have led to misunderstandings that hinder students' comprehension and learning outcomes. The research aims to identify patterns and potential sources of misinterpretation to ensure alignment between textbook language and the learning objectives of the Merdeka Curriculum. Using a qualitative approach with a comparative method, the study analyzed the meaning and usage of “konteks” across subjects. Data were collected through documentation of both explicit and implicit references, followed by descriptive content analysis based on Miles et al.'s interactive model. Triangulation, expert validation, and adherence to ethical standards ensured the validity and reliability of findings. Results indicate that misinterpretations of “konteks” often lead to fragmented understanding, making it difficult for students to connect concepts across academic and social settings. This disrupts cognitive processes, preventing the development of complex analytical skills. To address these issues, teachers should facilitate clarifying exercises and discussions emphasizing context. Additionally, textbook evaluations must prioritize accurate definitions, precise usage, and illustrative examples to minimize ambiguity and enhance learning outcomes.

Children’s animated films play an important role in shaping children’s perceptions of social and cultural values, including tolerance and religious moderation. This study aimed to understand how messages about religious tolerance and moderation are communicated through symbols, scenes, and character interactions in the Upin & Ipin series. This study used a qualitative approach with a visual discourse analysis method to examine the visual representation in the series. The data analysis technique involved observing scenes that show interreligious interactions, religious celebrations, and respectful behavior between characters with different cultural and religious backgrounds. Each scene was analyzed based on the visual and narrative context to identify messages of religious moderation. Data were analyzed using descriptive coding and thematic analysis to find patterns of visual depictions of religious moderation. The results showed that Upin & Ipin series consistently displays the values of religious moderation through harmonious characters in participating in religious celebrations. This visual message emphasizes the importance of mutual respect in a multicultural society. Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are promising alternatives to traditional electrolytes in electrochemical devices because of their favorable properties, including low volatility, biodegradability, and ease of preparation. This study aimed to optimize a DES composed of choline chloride and urea by investigating the effects of molar ratios and short-chain alcohol additions on viscosity, ionic conductivity, and electrochemical stability. The DES was prepared at 80°C at four molar ratios of choline chloride to urea (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4), with a 1:2 ratio optimal for achieving a stable, homogeneous solution. Short-chain alcohols (methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, and 1-butanol) were added to reduce viscosity and enhance conductivity. The addition of methanol and ethanol effectively lowered the viscosity and increased the ionic conductivity because of their ability to integrate into the DES matrix and disrupt hydrogen bonding. Electrochemical analysis confirmed that the oxidative stability of DESs remained unaffected by these alcohol additions, with oxidation onset consistently at approximately 1 V. These findings demonstrate that methanol and ethanol are suitable additives for improving the performance of DESs as electrolytes in electrochemical applications, enhancing both their conductivity and stability.

This article aims to determine the role of family communication in motivating higher education. Public education in Papua is not yet evenly distributed as a whole due to constraints on facilities, means, or understanding the importance of education itself. This research was conducted by conducting in-depth interviews with overseas students from Papua who were continuing their higher education (or studying) in Jakarta. Based on the Symbolic Interaction theory, an action will do something because there is an understanding of the meaning. This research shows that the five students interviewed have the same sense of the meaning of education, that education is important for a better future. So they consider college (thing) as something that must be done to achieve a good future. Therefore, they chose to study in Jakarta as a form of action (act). In the end, the meaning of the importance of education and what motivates them to study in Jakarta is the family, especially parents. Parents, as the smallest institution, who have been together since childhood, have been involved in providing education and giving them views on good education and the goals of education.

This study explores how lecturers at Tanjungpura University implement case and project-based learning models to strengthen the Merdeka Curriculum. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, data were gathered from 49 lecturers across various faculties through questionnaires and unstructured interviews. Data analysis involved descriptive techniques, with questionnaire results analyzed by frequency and percentage, while interview responses were interpreted qualitatively to identify key themes. Findings indicate that while many lecturers have begun integrating case and project-based learning, the extent of implementation varies significantly among faculties. Significant challenges include a lack of awareness and understanding of these models, insufficient institutional support, and difficulty integrating these methods into theory-heavy or practice-oriented courses. However, factors such as the need to align teaching practices with accreditation standards and the availability of faculty development programs are essential enablers. The study concludes that case and project-based learning hold significant potential for enriching the Merdeka Curriculum, and more structured support and awareness-building initiatives are necessary to realize their full benefits. Recommendations for lecturers include improving competencies through training, collaborating in learning design, and developing evaluation methods. For policymakers, strengthening institutional support, socializing the curriculum, and reviewing policies to integrate case and project-based learning are advised.
