Continuing to improve services to students while studying on campus, lecturers and all elements at the university need information about triggers of environmental stress among medical and health sciences students. Thus, the purpose of this study was to explore triggers of environmental stress among medical and health sciences students in the university through bibliometric analysis by analysing the network visualisation, overlay visualisation and density visualisation on the topic. Bibliometrics analysis was used in assessing related topics. The data sources were based on online searches via https://app.dimensions.ai/. Data was collected on 3 December 2023. The literature followed the Preferred Reporting Items for System-atic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) flowchart. Data were analysed using VOSviewer and further analysed and reviewed by co-occurrence and co-authors. Four major themes of environmental stress were found in this study: 1) The internal situation in the university; 2) External situations outside of the university; 3) Comfort situation during the study; 4) Aca-demic process. Environmental stress factors related to internal situation in the academic situation were academic stress, air pollution, anxiety in the academic process, COVID-19, depression, fear, medical student, nursing student, physical activity, school regulation, smoking and uncertainty of study. From the visualisation and density visualisation, it can be seen that the academic process related to the duration of study was a trending theme discussed in several papers related to triggers of environmental stress among students in the university. All elements of the university especially policy makers should pay attention to this problem to reduce the risk of stress while students are studying.

Background/Aim: There is a need to establish a satisfactory level of performance for nurses working in haemodialysis units, which will provide qualified competent nurses who will take care of patients. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze the caring behaviour of haemodialysis nurses with the motivation of patients undergoing haemodialysis. Methods: The research design was a descriptive correlation approach. The subjects of this study were patients who were undergoing therapy in the haemodialysis room. Researchers collected data for 1 month in September 2023. The relationship between nurses' caring behaviour and haemodialysis patient motivation was determined by conducting a Spearman rank correlation analysis. Results: Out of 118 patients, 48.7 % of patients thought nurses had poor caring behaviour. The research results also showed that patient motivation in undergoing haemodialysis was in the low motivation category (47.8 %). There was a significant relationship between nurses' caring behaviour and patient motivation in undergoing haemodialysis therapy (p = 0.0001). Based on the correlation coefficient value (r = 0.632), the two variables had a strong relationship. Conclusion: Nurses' caring behaviour can increase patient motivation in undergoing haemodialysis therapy. Nurses' caring behaviour still needs to be optimised because the interaction between nurses and patients in the treatment process provides support to patients.

In recent years, the number of bullying cases, especially among teenagers, has been increasing, with many mass media reports on bullying cases that have resulted in the death of the victim. The aim of the study was to explore the impact of bullying on adolescents by analysing of network visualisation, overlay visualisation and density visualisation on the topic through bibliometric analysis. Records were identified through a database search at https://app.dimensions.ai/. The data obtained was then selected further by the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) flow diagram. Papers were limited to publication years 2019-2023 and focussed on the fields of psychology, human society, health science , clinical biomedicine, clinical education and health psychology. Data were analysed using VOSviewer, then reviewed by co-occurrence and co-author. After identifying the clusters, the impacts of bullying on adolescents were suicidal behaviour, mental disorders, non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI), loneliness, psychological distress and adolescent childhood experiences (ACEs). From the overlay visualisation, it was indicated that the newest topics that were being widely researched related to the impact of bullying on adolescents were social anxiety, suicidal ideation, depressive symptoms, suicidal thought, integrated behaviour change (IBC) and peer victimisation. From density visualisation, it was indicated that topics that were rarely researched related to the topic of the impact of bullying on adolescent were suicide attempts, early victimisation, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicidality. The theme regarding the impact of bullying needs and developed to be researched more deeply, especially on themes with low visualisation found in density visualisation, in order to enrich the variety of research.

Background/Aim: Back pain is one of the most common discomforts experienced by pregnant women in the third trimester of pregnancy. Interventions that can be done to overcome this are progressive muscle relaxation or acupressure at the BL 23 and GV 3 points. The aim was to determine the effectiveness of progressive muscle relaxation with BL 23 and GV 3 acupressure to reduce low back pain in third trimester pregnant women. Methods: Quasi-experimental research design method with a two-group pretest and post-test design approach was conducted. The total sample was 88 with inclusion criteria-third trimester pregnant women who experienced back pain. Pain was measured with numerical rating scale (NRS) and analysed using Wilcoxon test. Results: The average reduction in back pain for pregnant women after progressive muscle relaxation was 2.12, while the average reduction in back pain for pregnant women after BL 23 and GV 3 acupressure was 1.50. There is a mean difference between the two (0.62), so it can be concluded that there was a difference in the effectiveness of reducing back pain for pregnant women in the third trimester between the progressive muscle relaxation intervention and the respondents' pain scale after the acupressure therapy intervention at points BL 23 and GV 3. Conclusion: Back pain for pregnant women in the third trimester can be treated with progressive muscle relaxation therapy or acupressure at points BL 23 and GV 3 to reduce back pain. Progressive muscle relaxation therapy was more effective. Progressive muscle relaxation can be done by pregnant women themselves when back pain occurs.

Background/Aim: The high divorce rate in Indonesia has an impact on the number of divorced women. In Indonesia, women with divorced status are still stigmatised, whereas the stigma and perception of divorced women in the community are still skewed. The formation of a negative stigma from the community makes women who experience divorce face many problems that can increase stress and make women psychologically disturbed. To overcome the conflict experienced, individuals have a coping mechanism as a way to defend themselves against changes that occur both within themselves and from outside themselves. The purpose of this study was to explore the sources of stress and coping mechanisms for stress in divorced women in Cirebon Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Methods: This research was qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research participants amounted to 8 women with a divorce status of less than 2 months who experienced mild and moderate stress in dealing with the new status of divorce in Cirebon Regency. The selection of research participants used a convenience sampling technique. Data collection methods using in-depth interview techniques and administering questionnaires perceived stress scale (PSS) to determine a person's level of psychological stress. Data analysis in this study used the Colaizzi method. This study identified two themes, namely the sources of stress of divorced women and coping mechanisms for stress built in divorced women. Results: Sources of stress included social status, negative stigma from society, the process of raising children without a husband, economic factors , fear of facing life in the future and relationships with ex-husbands and their families. These various stresses did not prevent divorced women from continuing their life process. This was because of the coping mechanisms made by divorced women so that the stress they experience did not harm their lives. These coping mechanisms included self-management, enjoying the process, diverting problems, telling other people about problems , strengthening spirituality and self-reflection. Conclusion: Divorced women struggle with numerous stressors. It is necessary to strengthen positive coping mechanisms and to overcome stigmas and prejudices in society towards divorced women.

Complementary therapies for decreasing dysmenorrhoea and factors behind dysmenorrhoea in adolescents is not clear enough. Researchers need information about trends and novelties for the future research topic of complementary therapies and factors related to dysmenorrhoea in adoles-cents. Thus, the purpose of this study was to identify the complementary therapies for decreasing dysmenorrhoea and factors related to dysmenorrhoea in adolescents by analysing network visualisation, overlay visualisation and density visualisation on the topic through bibliometric analysis. The data sources used in this study were based on online searches via https://app.dimensions.ai/. The literature search used the stages following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) flowchart. Paper restricted in publications years 2014-2023, focus in the field of health sciences, nursing, public health, clinical sciences and publication type were included as criteria for inclusion in the study. The data were analysed using VOSviewer. After identifying the clusters, the types of complementary therapies that were able to reduce dysmenorrhoea were acupressure, acupuncture, calcium sufficiency, curcumin, yoga, aromatherapy, massage and physical activity. Moreover, factors related to dysmenorrhoea were HIV, reproductive coercion, reproductive health, oxytocin, prolactin, trauma, metformin, anxiety and breast cancer. Moreover, the newest topics that were being widely researched related to adolescent dysmenorrhoea were education, non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI), prolactin and physical activity. On the other hand, topics that were rarely researched related to the topic of adolescent dysmenorrhoea were topics about sexual health, reproductive coercion, inflammation, curcumin and physical activity. Complementary therapies and factors that are still rarely studied offer potential novelty in results in future studies.

Background/Aim: Diabetes mellitus patients may be more vulnerable to stress due to the requirement for lifestyle changes and blood sugar management. Stress occurs when people sense a mismatch between their available resources and the expectations put on them, especially when the expectations are believed to be excessive in comparison to the preceding circumstance. The purpose of this study was to look at the effectiveness of the acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as a stress-reduction intervention in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) by enhancing their psychological well-being. Methods: A total of 40 people were allocated to either the intervention or control groups at random. The intervention group got counselling on the pillars of diabetes control, followed by a stress level pre-test. Following that, the ACT intervention was carried out. After completing the post-test, the control group got the same intervention. The ACT module and a questionnaire to evaluate stress levels in T2DM patients were used in this study. Results: Following the ACT session, the measuring findings for stress levels in the intervention group showed a reduction. Both the intervention and control groups saw stress reduction; however, the intervention group had a greater reduction. Conclusions: The ACT intervention reduced stress levels in the intervention group. ACT appeared as the variable having the largest effect on lowering stress levels after taking into account variables such as duration of suffering, education, sex and age-related to T2DM.

Background/Aim: Knowledge about triage has been identified as one of the factors influencing patient outcomes in the emergency room. Nurses' knowledge regarding triage is necessary in order to work effectively in managing patients, as swift and accurate actions depend on the nurses' acquired knowledge. The aim of this research was to determine the correlation between nurses' knowledge of triage and the accuracy of triage-level interpretation. Methods: The data from 145 nurses were collected by using a questionnaire sheet for the triage knowledge variable and an observation sheet for the variable of accuracy in triage level interpretation. This research was conducted in May-June 2023 at Tugurejo Regional General Hospital, KRMT Wongsonegoro Regional General Hospital and Dr Kariadi General Hospital. The independent variable in this study was nurses' knowledge and the dependent variable was the accuracy of triage level interpretation. The statistical analysis included descriptive statistics and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test for comparison between groups. Results: Based on the results of the bivariate analysis, nurses' knowledge has a correlation with the accuracy of triage-level interpretation with a p-value of < 0.001. Conclusion: There is a correlation between nurses' knowledge of triage and the accuracy of triage-level interpretation.

Background/Aim: Previous research obtained information that chemotherapy patients need more spirituality than patients with other diseases because chemotherapy patients feel that their illness is difficult to heal and will last forever, until the end of their lives. The purpose of this study was to find a relationship between spiritual qualities and the self-acceptance of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Methods: The study sample was 125 patients in chemotherapy. The investigative method used a correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The spiritual quality questionnaire was based on the spiritual well-being scale measurement technique which contained 3 components, namely spirituality and faith, emotional support and meaning in life. The instrument consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions with 6 Likert measurement scales. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The significance level was set at p < 0.05. Results: The results of the investigation showed that there was a significant positive relationship between spiritual quality and self-adaptation of respondents who were cancer patients who received chemotherapy in the Flamboyan Room of Balaidhika Husada Hospital Jember, Indonesia as evidenced by a significant p < 0.01. Conclusion: This study showed positive correlation between spiritual quality and self-adaptation of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. The results of this study can assist nurses in providing chemotherapy patient care through a spiritual approach.

Background/Aim: Aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and absolute lymphocyte count (ALC) are indicators that are widely used as a determinant of the prognosis of patients with viral pneumonia. Thus, the study aim was to prove the correlation between AST/ALT, NLR and ALC levels with the severity of COVID-19. Methods: The research method was carried out by collecting medical record data of positive COVID-19 patients who were hospitalised at the Indramayu Hospital in the period September 2020 - January 2021. Results: The results showed normal AST levels in 63 and elevated AST levels in 57 patients. Normal and elevated ALT levels were in 68 and 52 patients, respectively. The normal NLR was in 102 patients and the high NLR was in 18 patients. The low and normal ALC was in 19 and 101 patients, respectively. AST levels correlated with the severity of COVID-19 (p = 0.045). Other parameters were without statistical significance (p > 0.05). Conclusion: AST enzyme levels had a weak positive correlation with the severity of COVID-19. On the other hand, ALT, NLR and ALC had not correlated with the severity of COVID-19.

Background/Aim: An evaluation of precision healthcare interventions among patients with diabetes in a small sample through a pilot test before being tested in a larger sample is needed. Thus, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of a precision healthcare programme. It also assesses the programme's outcome among patients with diabetes in Indonesia. Methods: Data were collected during December 2020. The researchers first gathered data about participant characteristics. Furthermore, the strategies of precision healthcare were implemented in sixty respondents to evaluate the feasibility and outcome of the programme in a month. Results: The participants mentioned that they can follow all procedures of precision healthcare. However, they asked the researcher to provide a guide and monitoring book which provides safe choices information on diet, exercise, glucose monitoring and drug medication. Moreover, participants mentioned that they could complete all questionnaires but needed a company of a research assistant. The benefits of a month of precision healthcare were improved diabetes self-care activity, blood pressure and blood glucose level. However, the body weight, body mass index (BMI), triglyceride, cholesterol and triglyceride glucose index were not significantly improved. Conclusion: A pilot test is needed to ensure the feasibility of the implementation strategy with the culture and background of diabetic patients in Indonesia. Improving diabetes self-care activity stabilised blood pressure and blood glucose during a month, so it can be assumed that precision healthcare approaches were potentially being applied in Indonesia. On the other hand, it is needed more than a month to improve body weight, BMI, triglyceride, cholesterol and triglyceride glucose index. Thus, testing the precision healthcare approach in a larger sample with long time series for patients with diabetes in Indonesia through a randomised controlled trial (RCT) is needed.

Background/Aim: Flavonoids, tannins, saponins and polyphenols in yellow kepok banana (Musa x paradisiaca L. var. kepok) peel potentially could be a solution for peptic ulcer prevention. This study aimed to prove the efficacy of kepok banana peel extract as gastroprotective by analysing the number of gastric ulcers and markers of oxidative stress - malondialdehyde (MDA) and nitric oxide (NO). Methods: The study was performed on 33 female Wistar rats aged 3-4 months, weighed 100-250 g. Rats were divided into 3 groups: Musa Paradisiaca Var Kepok 1 (MPVK1) treatment group, Musa Paradisiaca Var Kepok 2 (MPVK2) and control group (K). In MPVK1 kepok banana peel extract at a dose of 80 mg / 200 g body weight (BW) was given and the MPVK2 group dose was 160 mg / 200 g BW. The gastritis induction was performed by using 5 % acetylsalicylic acid at a dose of 1500 mg/kg BW. MDA examination by HPLC method, NO examination by ELISA method and macroscopic examination by counting the number of ulcers on the gastric mucosa was performed. Results: The results showed that the lowest average MDA level, as well as the highest average NO level was in the MPVK2 group 3.27 and 286.17, respectively. The highest mean number of ulcers was in the control group 3.55. By analysing all the results it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the average levels of MDA (p = 0.013), NO (p < 0.001) and the number of ulcers (p < 0.001) in the three groups. Conclusion: Banana peel extract was proven to be effective as a gastroprotective through markers of MDA, NO and the number of ulcers in Wistar rats.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is one of the disorders that occur in the upper extremities caused by a narrowing in the carpal tunnel so that there is pressure on the median nerve located in the wrist. In this study, pathogenic variants associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) were prioritized using bioinformatics and genetic data in populations. The study used GWAS data to identify single nucleotide polymorphisms to look for genomic variants associated with CTS. The data obtained is then continued using HaploReg and GTEx portal for analysis with ensembles. Furthermore, the results of the GTEx portal identified genetic variants with gene expression throughout human tissue. The results obtained obtained two gene variants, namely rs61749613 encoded by VCAN and rs62621197 encoded by ADAMTS10. Of the two variants, the gene as a whole can be expressed in the aortic tissue. The allele frequency distribution of the two gene variants obtained different results from each continent.

There have been many studies on the occurrence of anxiety and depression following traumatic brain injury (TBI). However, these studies have primarily been conducted in developed countries with unrestricted access to resources and care environments. It is unclear whether patients with TBI in Southeast Asian countries, like Indonesia experience anxiety and depression to the same extent, given the differences in care provision post-discharge. This study aimed to examine the occurrence of anxiety and depression following TBI and their correlation with demographic factors such as age and gender, as well as health-related data including time since injury, severity of injury, functioning and disability, and social support. TBI patients were selected from medical records of individuals who had been discharged from the neurosurgery unit at least one month earlier and were capable of participating in a follow-up study. The hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) was utilized to assess anxiety and depression levels. In this study, a total of 100 patients were recruited, comprising 60% with mild TBI and 40% with moderate TBI. The findings revealed that 23% of the subjects experienced anxiety and 22% experienced depression. Social support, functioning and disability, age, and time since injury were statistically correlated with anxiety and depression (P<0.01). These results underscore the importance of promptly identifying and implementing interventions to alleviate or prevent these conditions. Depression occurs among the elderly, leading to increased use of medical facilities, adversely affecting quality of life (QoL), and increasing mortality. Fewer studies have been conducted to explore the factors that contribute to depression among the elderly. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that trigger depression in this population. This research used descriptive analysis with a cross-sectional design. A total of 247 participants completed a questionnaire containing socio-demographic information and the geriatric depression scale-15 (GDS-15). The data were analyzed for correlation using the chi-square test. There was a significant relationship between insurance and occupation and depression in rural communities in Central Java, Indonesia. Insurance and occupation influence elderly individuals’ preparation for old age, ensuring they have sufficient finances through old age savings, which enables them to be financially secure. The population needs to prepare for old age by calculating their retirement fund requirements, saving and investing, and obtaining insurance for pension and health fund protection. Background: One of the problems currently faced by Indonesia is nutritional problems in the form of stunting. Stunting is a disruption in the growth and development of children due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, characterized by their length or height being below the standard. Methods: This descriptive research aimed to describe the condition of stunting in Tegal City and the efforts of the Tegal City government in contributing to the reduction of the stunting rate. Results: This activity has shown good results, this can be seen from the reduction in the stunting rate in Tegal City from 9.94% in 2022 to 8.21% in 2023. The program to reduce stunting rates in Tegal City was established through the formation of the stunting reduction acceleration team (SRAT). Some of the activities carried out by SRAT include sensitive services linked to poverty management program activities, such as providing integrated healthy livable houses, interventions in the use of yard land, expanding family planning acceptors, refining social assistance recipients, and providing access to drinking water and sanitation management. Specific services are carried out by strengthening specific interventions on a provincial scale, enhancing communication and behavior change by strengthening communication and behavior change and planning and monitoring the evaluation of regional apparatus organizations’ program integration. Collaboration with potential partners is also key in accelerating stunting reduction, along with ongoing monitoring and evaluation of performance. This activity has shown positive outcomes, as evidenced by the reduction in the stunting rate in Tegal City from 9.94% in 2022 to 8.21% in 2023. Conclusion: The prevalence of stunted children in Tegal City has decreased. Effective leadership, a strong civil society, and targeting vulnerable communities during the implementation of specific and sensitive nutrition interventions are the main factors that support the achievement of these targets. Background: Dementia is the main cause of disability and dependency among the elderly worldwide. It involves a decline in memory, thinking, behavior, and abilities, which significantly impacts daily activities. Allah SWT shows His power and human helplessness by creating individuals from a weak state to a strong one, only to return to weakness as they experience senility. Preventing dementia in the advanced stages is essential. To effectively implement prevention strategies, it is necessary to understand the risk factors that contribute to the disease. This research aimed to analyze the integration of scientific and Islamic perspectives to prevent the incidence of dementia in the elderly population. Methods: We used a literature review with a comprehensive strategy. The databases, including MEDLINE Complete, MEDLINE with full text, Academic Search Complete, Professional Development Collection, OmniFile Full Text Select (H.W. Wilson), Newspaper Source, and APA PsycArticles were searched using the keywords, namely“dementia,” “faith,” “prayer,” “reading the Qur’an,” “dhikr,” and “fasting” in the title. A total of 274 articles were obtained, but only 17 articles met the qualification criteria. After a detailed review, 10 articles were included in the analysis. Results: The efforts that can prevent the incidence of dementia among the elderly population, from both scientific and Islamic perspectives, were classified as comorbid therapy (hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and stroke), neurodegenerative delay (stress reduction (faith, religious activities, such as prayer, reading the Koran, dhikr, and fasting), avoidance of alcohol and cigarettes, prevention of traumatic brain injury, stimulation of neuroplasticity (education and physical activity), and regulation of eating and sleeping patterns (reducing obesity and practicing fasting). Conclusion: The scientific and Islamic perspectives are related to each other. The elderly population should pay attention not only to physical health but also to spiritual health, as both aspects have a close relationship and influence one another. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background/Aim: Hospitalisation is a traumatic occurrence in which children must be admitted for acute or chronic diseases. The purpose of this study was to test the validity and reliability of the atraumatic care education model test, instrument based on family-centred care of mother behaviour in minimising children’s hospitalisation stress. Methods: Questionnaires were developed based on each parameter of each variable. After the questionnaires were developed, the researcher conducted a pilot study with 50 respondents to assess their validity and reliability. The validity test used the Product Moment test, while the reliability test used Croncbach's alpha value. Results: All questionnaire statement items on the nurse factor, the mother factor, the service factor, the learning process, the atraumatic care education factor and on mother behaviour variables were declared valid (r count = 0.280-0.854), (r count = 0.292-0.767), (r count = 0.517- 0.779), (r count = 0.737-0.918), (r count = 0.303-0.781; r table = 0.275) and (r count = 0.315-0.815; r table = 0.275), respectively. All questionnaires to measure nurse factors, maternal factors, service factors, learning process factors, atraumatic care education, maternal behaviour variables and distress questionnaires were reliable. The internal consistency (alpha coefficient) of the total scale ranged between 0.713-0.925. Conclusion: All questionnaires developed to assess the atraumatic care education model based on family-centred care on mother behaviour in minimising children’s hospitalisation stress were valid and reliable and thus have certain application value. Background: Divorce is a global issue, and its rate continues to increase every year. There has been a great deal of research on divorce; however, there has not been any attempt to provide a thorough scientific mapping of the topic. The networks, patterns, and divorce trends can be revealed through bibliometric analysis. This study aimed to identify the network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization of the factors that cause divorce. Methods: This research was a bibliometric analysis study. The keywords were identified by searching the database at dimensions application and followed the stages of the PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses). The type of publication chosen was articles limited to publication from 2019 to 2023, focusing on human society, health science, psychology, and biomedical fields. Data were analyzed using VOSViewer software, version 1.6.18, and then reviewed by the co-occurrence and co-authors. Results: The underlying factors of divorce found in this bibliometric study are very diverse. Based on network visualization, there were 178 items in 7 clusters with 5123 links and a total link strength of 40770. Through overlay visualization, the research trend regarding the factors related to divorce was early marriage, attitude toward marriage, HIV testing, depressive symptoms, sexual abuse, the COVID-19 pandemic, and culture. Meanwhile, according to density visualization, the topics with low category visualization were marital burnout, sexual violence against women, non-suicidal self-injury, physical abuse, and sexual satisfaction. Conclusion: Previous studies have found a lot about the factors causing divorce through qualitative and quantitative study methods, but still, few studies have focused on how to prevent divorce. For other researchers, choosing a topic that belongs to the low visualization category is recommended to explore themes that have not yet been widely researched. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: No bibliometric study of published research subjects was conducted on obesity and hypertension to identify trends and novelties. As a result, this study aims to look into the trend of number of publications, trend of citations, journal with the most publications, area with the most publication approval, network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization on the topic of obesity and hypertension using bibliometric analysis. Methods: This study uses a bibliometric analysis. The data in this study are based on Internet searches conducted using Dimensions app. The VOSviewer software, version 1.6.18 was used to create and display the latest trends in network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. The preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) flowcharts were used to show the steps after data collection. Step 1 (identification), step 2 (screening), step 3 (study eligibility) and the final sample (included) in phase 4 were all documented. Results: The search for publications on obesity and hypertension yielded 995.13 articles. After screening using the specified criteria, 9 541 articles were found. Most publications on obesity and hypertension were published in 2021, the fewest in 2003. Research on obesity and hypertension is conducted by health sciences. In addition, trends in obesity with hypertension currently focus on the impact of obesity and hypertension on specific populations (e.g. children, and elderly), novel therapeutic approaches, or the role of technology in monitoring and managing these conditions. From the density visualization, the topics that visualized the low category are mortality rate, severity, risk of hypertension, and metabolic abnormalities. Conclusion: From the results of the bibliometric analysis using these keywords, researchers can identify information about trends and innovations in obesity research topics in the future. This article examines the correlation between the caring behavior of nurses and the motivation of patients undergoing haemodialysis in Semarang, Indonesia. The study found that a significant number of patients perceived nurses' caring behavior as poor, and patient motivation for haemodialysis therapy was generally low. However, there was a clear relationship between nurses' caring behavior and patient motivation, suggesting that improved care can increase patient motivation. Background: Interest in research on the topic of nursing interventions and medication adherence in tuberculosis (TB) patients has increased. In future research, researchers need information about trends and new things for the topic of nursing intervention research and medication adherence in tuberculosis patients in the future. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to explore the trend of the number of publications, the trend of the number of citations, the journal with the highest number of publications, network visualisation, overlay visualisation, and density visualisation on the topic of nursing interventions and medication adherence in tuberculosis patients through bibliometric analysis. Research method: Bibliometric analysis was used in this study. The data is identified through the https://app.dimensions.ai/ database, which is then selected using the PRISMA flowchart. Papers are limited to publication in 2018- 2023, focusing on the fields of health sciences, nursing, public health, the science of services and health systems, information science, and types of publications are articles. Data were analysed using VOSviewer, and then the analysis results were reviewed by co-occurrence. Results: A search for publications on nursing interventions to improve medication adherence in TB patients resulted in 60,204 articles. After being filtered through the specified criteria, the number of articles obtained was 3,237. The peak of publications on nursing interventions to improve medication adherence in TB patients occurred in 2018. Meanwhile, the lowest number of publications occurred in 2023. The health sector and other fields such as Human society, Information and computing science, and Psychology carry out research on nursing interventions to improve medication adherence in TB patients. In addition, health trends in nursing interventions to improve medication adherence in TB patients currently focus on using digital technology-based interventions such as mobile health applications, health education, and family support. The density visualisation shows that the topics not widely researched related to nursing interventions to improve medication adherence in TB patients are application, mobile health, health education, family, social support, stigma, and attitude. Conclusion: The topic of nursing interventions to improve medication adherence in TB patients is a topic that needs to be further developed in various countries. Background: A precision healthcare approach is needed in the context of the healthcare system, especially as an effort to improve the self-management activities of diabetes patients. Accordingly, this study explores the perception of the possibility of implementing a precision healthcare program in hospitals through interviews with policymakers and health professionals. Methods: The purposive sampling via one-on-one, in-depth semi-structural interviews was conducted to collect the data in this study. The data saturation was achieved after interviewing 17 policymakers and health professionals in the selected hospitals. The participants discussed the possibility of a program being implemented in Indonesia and the challenges to implementing the program, as well as discovering the solutions. The narratives were analyzed by the Colaizzi phenomenological analytic method. Results: The three themes that were identified to illustrate the perception of the possibility of implementing precision health care programs at hospitals in Indonesia were as follows: 1) Precision health care for diabetes related to genetics, big data, and patient preference; 2) Barriers to implementing precision health care in Indonesian hospitals; and 3) The implementation of precision health care succeeded step by step. Conclusion: More time is needed to implement Indonesia’s precision healthcare concept. Preeclampsia is a specific multisystemic disorder that appears as a complication of pregnancy, and it is a cause of death for pregnant women. Societies in different countries strongly believe that pregnancy is part of a woman's nature; therefore, pregnancy is considered a normal event that does not require special treatment. This study aims to develop a cultural care model to prevent preeclampsia through basic services. Research following an explanatory design was conducted on a cross-sectional sample of 150 pregnant women who were selected based on a formula using the range rule of thumb with multistage random sampling at the primary level of service in eastern Indonesia. The researchers used a modified questionnaire on individual factors, social factors, policy factors, religious factors, technological factors, and culture of prevention to predict preeclampsia prevention behaviour. The results of this study reveal that individual factors affect preeclampsia prevention behaviour factors (p = 0.038); social factors affect preeclampsia prevention behaviour factors (p = 0.005), and technological factors have an effect on preeclampsia prevention behaviour factors (p = 0.001). Meanwhile, policy factors and religious factors did not influence preeclampsia prevention behaviour, with p values of 0.735 and 0.596, respectively. Cultural values are values inherent in society that are useful for regulating harmony and balance. The development of a cultural model of preeclampsia prevention through a cultural care model as a basic intervention to care for mothers throughout their pregnancy can increase positive behaviour in society. Background: Problems arising during menstruation include pain before or during menstruation. Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) techniques and endorphin massage (EM) therapy are effective in controlling menstrual pain. This study aims to determine the difference in the effectiveness of pain intensity carried out by PMR therapy and EM therapy. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental research with a two-group pretest and posttest design. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria included students who experienced dysmenorrhea and do not have a genetic abnormality. The respondents who met the criteria were 80 respondents. The respondents were randomly selected using computerized to divide them into two groups. Forty respondents received PMR intervention and another 40 respondents received EM intervention. Bivariate analysis was performed using Wilcoxon test. Identification of respondents who fit the criteria, i.e. adolescents aged 13-14 years who experience menstrual pain, and do not have genetic abnormalities. Pain measurement was performed with a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. Results: PMR is more effective in lower intensity painful menstruation compared to EM proven that the average painful menstruation after PMR was 2.42±0.675, while the average painful menstruation after EM was 2.90±0955 with a difference of 4.8 points with a significance level of 0.000. Menstrual pain can be reduced by blocking nerve impulses from reaching the brain, including PMR therapy to control tension and anxiety. Conclusion: PMR therapy is more effective for controlling menstrual pain. PMR therapy can be done alone by adolescents when menstrual pain appears. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Although patients with diabetes have common problems, their educational needs may differ, and they have the right to participate in planning and implementing individual or group healthcare programs. Because there are no proper care interventions for diabetic patients in Indonesia, this study evaluated the efficacy of a tailored care intervention program on some blood biochemical outcomes among Indonesian patients with diabetes. Methods: We conducted a randomized controlled trial (RCT) with a pre-test-post-test design. We recruited 163 diabetic patients referred to Moyo Hilir and Moyo Hulu primary healthcare facilities in Sumbawa City, Indonesia, from January to April 2021. The subjects were randomly assigned to either intervention (n=80) or control (n=83) groups. The intervention group received a tailored care intervention program with 7 elements implemented through four stages: 1) brief deductive teaching, 2) self-management assessment, 3) brainstorming and support group, and 4) Follow-up. The control group received routine education. The study data were collected at baseline and three months after the intervention. The outcome measures were blood glucose levels, cholesterol, triglyceride, and triglyceride glucose index. IBM SPSS software, version 20 was used for statistical analysis. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive (frequency distributions, percentages, Mean±SD) and inferential statistics (Chi-square, independent t-test, and paired t-test). The significance level was set at P<0.05. Results: According to the independent t-test, there were no significant differences in blood glucose levels of the groups before and after the intervention. There were also no significant differences in the groups' cholesterol, triglyceride, and triglyceride glucose index before the intervention, but significant differences were seen after the intervention (P=0.000). However, the significance moved in a negative direction. According to paired t-test, blood glucose level, triglyceride, and triglyceride glucose index increased in the control group but decreased in the intervention group, although it was not significant. On the other hand, cholesterol levels increased in both intervention and control groups, which was not significant. Conclusion: Although no significant findings were obtained, the glucose level, triglyceride, and glucose triglyceride index values of the intervention group were better than the control group, but not in terms of cholesterol level. Tailored care intervention programs can improve biochemical indicators, especially for blood glucose levels, triglycerides, and triglyceride glucose index; however, it seems that a follow-up study beyond three months is needed to be performed in the future. Background: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-related stigma continues to be a serious problem for people living with HIV (PLWH). This study aimed to explore stigma experience among PLWH in Bali, Indonesia. Methods: This research was a qualitative descriptive phenomenological study. With the help of a local clinician-researcher and the staff of the United Nations Program on AIDS Commission, Bali, 10 participants were recruited by purposive sampling and participated in semi-structured interviews via WhatsApp online audio from April to December 2021. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi's process. Results: The following three themes emerged: (1) experiencing discrimination, (2) getting stronger through stigma experiences, and (3) receiving support. Interviews revealed that PLWH in Bali experience stigma and discrimination across settings, including communities, families, friends, employers, and health care. Some participants could turn the pressure of stigma into a source of strength, making them psychologically and mentally strong. This phenomenon mostly happened when the patients had positive attitudes toward illness and good coping mechanisms. Conclusions: This study showed the importance of support from family, friends, and organizations in surviving stigma. For PLWH, having a sense of self-support and resilience and adaptive mechanisms also help ease the negative effects of stigma and discrimination. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: The popular intervention in avoiding diabetes complications in several countries is health education. However, a tailored care education approach based on the phenotyping of patients' abilities, preferences, cultural orientation is still unclear. Purpose: To discover elements and develop strategies to implement tailored care education for patients with diabetes through a systematic review. Methods: This two-stage systematic review was conducted. The first stage was primary search and assessed the quality of articles followed by discovering elements and developing strategies of tailored care education for patients with diabetes in the second stage. Results: This review included 44 out of 1421 articles that were published in English and focused to discuss on tailored care education for patients with diabetes. Selfmanagement, patient preferences, patient value, interprofessional collaboration, tailored support, glycemic control, and patient centre were among the elements. These factors were utilized to develop seven step strategies for providing diabetes patients with tailored care education. Conclusion: Traditional clinical intervention, decision-making, and future research trends are predicted to be transformed into a personalized care approach. Background: Two common triage systems have been widely used in mass casualty incidents (MCIs) and disaster situations, namely START (simple triage algorithm and rapid treatment) and SALT (sort, assess, lifesaving, intervention, and treatment/transport). There is currently controversy regarding the effectiveness of SALT over the START triage system. Purpose: This systematic review aims to compare the accuracy of the SALT and START triage systems in disaster and MCI settings. Methods: The literature was searched using a systematic search strategy for articles published from 2009 to 2020 in the Medline, CINAHL, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, ProQuest databases, and the grey literature. This review included simulation-based and medical record-based studies investigating the accuracy and applicability of the SALT and START triage systems in adult and child populations during MCIs and disasters. All types of studies were included. The PRISMA flowchart was used to retain the articles, and the Joanna Briggs Institute critical appraisal tools were used to assess the quality of the reviewed studies. Results: Of 1,450 articles identified in the search, 10 articles were included. It was found that the START triage system had a wide range and inconsistent levels of accuracy (44% to 94.2%) compared to the SALT triage system (70% to 83%). The under-triage error of the START triage system ranged from 2.73% to 20%, which was slightly lower than the SALT triage system (7.6% to 23.3%). The over-triage error of the START triage system (2% to 53%) was slightly higher than the SALT triage system (2% to 22%). However, the time taken to apply START triage system (70 to 72.18 seconds) was faster than for the SALT triage system (78 seconds). Conclusion: The START triage system was simpler and faster than SALT. Conversely, the SALT triage system appeared to be slightly more accurate, more consistent, and had a lower rate of under- and over-triage error than START. It appears that neither the SALT nor the START triage system is superior to the other. Further research is needed to establish the most appropriate disaster and MCI triage system, especially for the Indonesian context. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aim: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an emerging major public health issue that leads to end-stage kidney disease (ESRD). Factors influencing the self-management and self-efficacy of ESRD patients are still under investigation. The objective of this study is to evaluate the association of depression and anxiety with self-management and self-efficacy in patients with pre-ESRD. Methods: Patients in the department of nephrology of a regional hospital in Taiwan were invited to participate and were included in our study if they had a confirmed diagnosis of early-stage CKD, were more than 20 years old, and could converse in Mandarin Chinese or Taiwanese. Patients diagnosed with depression, who could not execute self-care, or who had cognitive deficits were excluded. In total, this cross-sectional study included 112 pre-ESRD patients. We used the Chinese versions of the hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS), the chronic kidney disease self-efficacy instrument (CKD-SE), and the chronic kidney disease self-management instrument (CKD-SM) as the questionnaire. Spearman's rank correlation and logistic regressions were used to analyze the data. Results: The top quartile of self-management and self-efficacy scores (28 patients) was defined as high self-management and -efficacy, respectively, and the lower three quartiles as low self-management and -efficacy. The logistic regression analysis showed that having depression decreased the odds of having high self-management by 75.4% and high self-efficacy by 75.1%. Having an education level of senior high school or above increased the odds ratios for having high self-management and high self-efficacy to 4.47 and 3.56 (all p-values < 0.05). Conclusion: Controlling depression as well as increasing the level of education can potentially increase self-management and self-efficacy in pre-ESRD patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Long-term treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) is considered a major factor causing disease complications. DM complications mostly impact the patient's quality of life (QoL). Only a few studies have been conducted summarizing the types of nursing interventions for improving the QoL of DM patients., Objective: The objective of this study is to explore the types of nursing interventions that can improve the QoL of DM patients., Methods: The online databases, including ScienceDirect, Medline, Google Search, and Pro-Quest, were used to search for the relevant articles. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed, and their level of evidence was determined and synthesized., Results: A total of 30 articles defining the types of nursing intervention on improving the QoL of DM patients were discovered, comprising the five types of nursing interventions, such as health education (15 articles), exercise (8 articles), WhatsApp/short message service (WA/SMS) gateway (3 articles), blood glucose control (3 articles), and black garlic herbal therapy (1 article)., Conclusion: Sequentially, the most common types of nursing interventions to improve the QoL of DM patients was health education, followed by exercise, WA/SMS gateway, and glucose control. A personal approach to health education is a significant point in improving the QoL of DM patients in the future.
