Minnettarlık, iyimserlik, yaşam coşkusu ve sebat içeren okul temelli pozitif özellikler, çocukların okuldaki pozitif yaşantılarının temelini oluşturmaktadır ve çocukların okuldaki pozitif yaşantıları onların gelişimleri açısından önemlidir. Bu nedenle araştırma çeşitli değişkenler açısından ön ergenlik dönemindeki çocukların okul yaşantılarını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeline göre planlanmış olup örnekleme yöntemlerinden basit seçkisiz örnekleme kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde 6., 7. ve 8. sınıfa giden ve çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 549 çocuk ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplamak için “Demografik Bilgi Formu” ve “Okulda Pozitif Yaşantılar Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Veriler normal dağılım gösterdiği için verilerin analizinde t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), post-hoc t-testi ve Tukey HSD kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre çocukların okuldaki yaşantıları ile cinsiyet, başarı durumu, anne, baba, öğretmen ve sınıf arkadaşları ile olan ilişki durumu, dijital oyun oynama süresi, sosyal medya kullanım süresi arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur.

In this study, middle school students were encouraged to develop STEM based socio-scientific activities, and as a result, their attitudes and opinions towards STEM were investigated. Mixed nested method was used in this research. Sample of the study consists of 16 seventh grade students, who got educated during the 2017-18 academic year in an eastern province of Turkey. The study lasted 24 weeks during an academic year. Data was collected by using STEM Attitude Scale, STEM Interview Form, Field Notes and Informal Meetings. The research findings indicated that engagement in STEM-based socio-scientific activities significantly enhanced participants' attitudes towards STEM disciplines. Moreover, this active involvement positively impacted their skills and aspirations, fostering a greater inclination toward selecting professions and careers geared towards creating innovations to enhance human life. Additionally, it was concluded that the activities positively affected their knowledge and motivation about STEM and socialization features such as communication, interaction and sharing.

Bu çalışma, ortaokul öğrencilerinin ekrandan okuma öz yeterliliklerine yönelik bir ölçek geliştirme çalışmasıdır. Çalışma öncesi alan yazın taranmış ve 44 maddelik bir madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Madde havuzu uzman görüşüne sunulmuş, maddelerin kapsam geçerlilik oranları hesaplanarak 33 maddelik bir taslak form elde edilmiştir. Bu form, küçük grup ile ön uygulama çalışmasına tabi tutulmuş ve maddeler korunarak birinci büyük grup uygulamasına geçilmiştir. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi amacıyla gerçekleştirilen birinci büyük grup uygulaması 338 ortaokul öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, istatistik programında analiz edilmiş ve 3 boyuttan oluşan toplam 17 maddelik bir ölçek elde edilmiştir. Bu ölçek, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi amacıyla 514 ortaokul öğrencisinden oluşan ikinci büyük gruba uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerde ölçeğin 3 boyutlu 17 maddelik yapısının doğrulandığı görülmüştür. Yapının veriye uyumunun tüm indeksler bazında iyi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak elde edilen veriler bu çalışma ile geliştirilen ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir ölçmeler yapmak amacıyla kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir.

Communication is a skill that people have used since ancient times. Although communication differs in terms of its features in the process, it can be basically defined as the ability to understand and explain. The concept of "writing" has a special place in the skill of telling. Because the development of civilizations has generally been thanks to written culture. Knowledge and culture have been transferred to future generations through writings and have preserved their importance until today. The aim of this study is to examine the 6th grade students' ability to express their feelings, thoughts, dreams and impressions in writing, considering the importance of writing skills, in terms of various variables. In this direction, the case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was preferred in the study. The research group of the study consists of 75 students at the 6th grade level in a state secondary school located in the southeast of Turkey and 5 Turkish teachers working in the same institution. In the data collection process of the study, firstly, a text with a free theme was written to the students. The data obtained from these texts were analyzed with the writing skill level determination rubric prepared by Bahşi (2018). In addition, student writings were evaluated in accordance with the scoring directive by using the attitude scale developed by Can and Ünal (2017) to determine the students' attitudes towards writing. Then, semi-structured interviews were conducted with Turkish teachers. In these interviews, teachers' opinions were taken on the variables that affect the students' writing skill levels. When the findings obtained from the study were interpreted, it was seen that the students' writing skill levels were not sufficient, but their attitudes towards writing were positive. In addition, this situation was affected by teacher, student, program and environment variables as a whole. However, it is seen that the environment variable negatively affects the level of writing skill in a dominant way.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin verilen metinlerden hareketle hazırladıkları soruları Yenilenmiş Bloom Taksonomisi’nin bilişsel süreç basamaklarına göre incelemektir. Çalışmada, temel nitel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde Aksaray, Antalya, İstanbul, İzmir ve Kütahya illerinde bulunan devlet ortaokulları arasından rastgele belirlenen okullarda öğrenim görmekte olan 400 sekizinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışman verilerini toplama sürecinde doküman incelemesinden faydalanılmıştır. Öğrencilerden verilen metinlerden hareketle bir ders saati içerisinde 6 adet soru hazırlamaları istenmiş ve bu sorular, Yenilenmiş Bloom Taksonomisi’nin bilişsel süreç boyutlarına göre değerlendirme yapmaları için 3 alan uzmanının görüşüne sunulmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında öğrencilerden ve alan uzmanlarından elde edilen verileri tanımlanabilmek amacıyla betimleyici analiz tekniklerinden faydalanılmış ve verilerin daha iyi anlaşılması amacıyla da frekans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin hazırladıkları soruların büyük oranda alt düzey bilişsel basamakta yer aldığı; öğrencilerin üst düzey bilişsel basamakta soru hazırlamakta problem yaşadıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study examines the effect of participation in regular tennis exercise on sportsmanship in secondary school students. The research was carried out with an experimental method and sequential design. The study sample, 46 volunteer students, was divided into two groups as experimental and control groups. The “Personal Information Form” and the “Physical Education Lesson Sportsmanship Behavior Scale” were applied to the students in both groups as a pre-test in the first week and as a post-test after 12 weeks. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 17.0 program was used for data analysis. As a result of the normality tests (Skewness and Kurtosis), it was determined that the data showed normal distribution, so the Independent Sample T-Test and Paired Samples T-Test were applied. The significance level was accepted as p lt;0.05. According to the findings of the study, while there was a statistically significant difference between the pre-test (90.82 ± 14) and post-test (97.52 ± 10) of the experimental group's sportsmanship level, no statistically significant difference between the pre-test (85.73 ± 12) and post-test (83.52 ± 14) of the control group's sportsmanship levels between. Consequently, this study reveals that participation in 12 weeks of regular tennis exercise significantly increases the sportsmanship level of secondary school students.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Hızlı, Seri, Görsel Sunum (RSVP) temelli uygulamaların ortaokul öğrencilerinin okuma ve anlama düzeylerine etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın temel problemi; “Hızlı, Seri, Görsel Sunum (RSVP) temelli uygulamaların ortaokul öğrencilerinin okuma hızı ve anlama düzeylerine etkisi var mıdır?” olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön test son test eşitlenmemiş kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışma örneklemini Kütahya merkezdeki bir devlet ortaokulunun 7. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubu ile gerçekleştirilen uygulama sonu yapılan son testte öğrencilerin dakikada okudukları kelime sayısında ve okuduğunu anlama düzeylerinde istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir artış görülmektedir. Deney grubu öğrencileri ön testte dakikada ortalama 116.84 kelime okurken swiftread ile gerçekleştirilen uygulamada 315.52 kelime okumuşlardır. Anlama testinde deney grubu öğrencileri ön testte 9.27 puan alırken son testte bu değer 11.21 olarak ölçülmüştür. Elde edilen veriler öğrencilerin uygulama sonrası hem daha hızlı okuduğunu hem de okuma hızı ile birlikte metni anlama seviyelerinin de arttığını ortaya koymaktadır.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Covid-19 pandemisi sürecinde uygulanan uzaktan eğitimin ortaokul öğrencilerinin fen bilimleri dersindeki başarıları üzerindeki etkisinin öğrenci görüşleriyle birlikte incelemektir. Araştırma karma yönteme göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırma örneklemini bir ilin merkezindeki bir ortaokulda iki farklı eğitim-öğretim yılında öğrenim gören toplam 254 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin akademik başarıları düzeylerini belirlemek için yazılı sınav sonuçları kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca uzaktan eğitim alan 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin uzaktan eğitim sürecine ilişkin görüşleri, açık uçlu ve çoktan seçmeli sorulardan oluşan anket formları kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Bulgular, fen bilimleri dersini yüz yüze eğitimle alan öğrencilerin ders başarılarının uzaktan eğitim yoluyla ders alan öğrencilerden yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca fen bilimleri dersini 5. ve 6. sınıfta yüz yüze, 7. sınıfta uzaktan eğitimle alan aynı öğrencilerin ders başarılarının, sınıf düzeyi arttıkça azaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenci görüşlerine göre EBA öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitim sürecinde fen bilimleri dersini takip ettikleri en önemli platform olmuştur. Ancak araştırma sonuçları, öğrencilerin çoğunlukla fen derslerinin uzaktan eğitim yoluyla işlenmesine yönelik olumsuz algıya sahip olduklarını göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin neredeyse tamamı uzaktan eğitimdense yüz yüze eğitimi tercih etmiştir. Ayrıca öğrenciler karma modeli, sadece uzaktan eğitime göre daha fazla tercih etmişlerdir. Öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitim sürecinde yaşadıkları problemleri çözmelerinde en önemli destekçileri aileler olmuştur. Sonuçlar öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitim sürecinden yeterli verimi elde edemediğini ortaya koymuştur.

Son yıllarda bireylerin bilinçli ve sorumlu finansal kararlar verebilmesi için finansal okuryazarlık eğitimi konusu gündeme gelmektedir. Teknolojik ve ekonomik gelişmelerin beraberinde getirdiği finansal ürün çeşitliliğini, karmaşıklığı ve derinliği finansal okuryazarlık eğitimi ihtiyacını artırmaktadır. Nitekim bireylerin finansal konularda doğru kararlar alabilmesi için bu konuda yeterli bilgi ve farkındalığa sahip olmaları gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle finansal okuryazarlık tanımı ve boyutlarına yer verilmiştir. Erken dönemlerde finansal farkındalığın nasıl geliştiği konusunda literatürden örnekler sunulmuştur. Finansal okuryazarlık konularının matematik eğitiminde hangi bakış açılarıyla ele alınabileceğinden söz edilmiştir. Matematik öğretme ve öğrenme ortamlarında finansal okuryazarlık ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalardan örnekler sunulmuştur. Finans Eğitimi Standartları Entegreli Matematik Modeli (FESEM modeli) önerilmiş, bu modelin programda nasıl yer alabileceği konusunda önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Son olarak, finansal konuların matematik eğitimine dahili konusundaki uygulamaların ve araştırmaların neler ve nasıl olabileceğine dair önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

İçerisinde bulunulan bilgi çağında bir ülkenin gelişimi yeni nesillerin eğitimine gösterilen özenle şekillendirilmekte ve Covid-19 Pandemisinin gündelik yaşama getirileri ile yoğrulmaktadır. Bu bağlamda okul kütüphaneleri modern çağın getirilerine göre yenilenmeli, öğrencilere ihtiyaçları olan ortamı sunmaya hazır olmalıdır. Türkiye’de okul kütüphanelerini çağa uydurmak, yeni elektronik bilgi kaynaklarını eğitim sisteminde kullanabilmek adına Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı 2011 yılında Zenginleştirilmiş Kütüphane (Z-kütüphane) Projesi için çalışmalara başlamıştır. Bu çalışmanın konu aldığı proje kapsamında Z-kütüphanelerde eylem alanlarının tanımlanması ve bu bağlamda mekanların işlevsellik açısından ergonomik yeterliliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, ortaokullarda kurulan z-kütüphaneler üzerinde ilerlemiştir. Literatür taraması yapılarak eylem alanları belirlenmiş, daha sonra betimsel yöntem kullanılarak MEB’in yüklenici firmalara örnek olarak verdiği modeller üzerinden mekanların işlevselliği incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak örnek olarak yol gösterici olması beklenen bu modellerde işlevselliği etkileyen hatalar tespit edilmiştir.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye ve Kazakistan’da uygulanan ortaokul matematik dersi öğretim programlarının içerikleri yönünden benzerlik ve farklılıklarını ortaya koymaktır. Programlar; haftalık ders saatleri, konu içerikleri, özel amaçları, diğer disiplinlerle ilişkileri, değerler eğitimi ve ölçme değerlendirme yaklaşımlarına göre karşılaştırılmışlardır. Araştırma; 2020-2021 öğretim yılında güncel olan Türkiye Ortaokul Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programı [TOMP] ve Kazakistan Ortaokul Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programları [KOMP] ile sınırlıdır. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın temel veri kaynakları olarak güncel Türkiye ve Kazakistan Ortaokul Matematik Öğretim Programları, TIMMS ve PISA raporları kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Verilerin raporlanmaları sırasında sıklıklarına da yer verilmiştir. İçerik analizi tekniği olarak Forster (1995; akt. Yıldırım ve Şimşek, 2016)’in doküman inceleme aşamaları kullanılmıştır. İncelenen programlar, çalışmanın veri analizinin yapıldığı zaman aralığında etik kurallar çerçevesinde raporlaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, KOMP’ta 5. ve 6. sınıflarda matematik dersi haftada 6 saat verilirken 7. sınıftan itibaren cebir, geometri ve bilişim olarak üçe ayrılmaktadır. TOMP’ta ise 5’ten 8’e tüm ortaokul seviyesinde “Matematik” dersi adı altında haftada 5 saat verilmektedir. Haftalık ders saati olarak Kazakistan ortaokul matematik dersleri 34 haftada toplam 204 ders saati yapılırken Türkiye’de 36 haftada 180 ders saati yapılmaktadır. Her iki ülkede de temel geometrik kavramlar, üçgenler, dörtgenler, çember ve daire, koordinat düzlemi ve alan ortak olarak yer almaktadır. Türkiye’de ölçme konusu (uzunluk ve zaman ölçme, sıvı ölçme) ayrıntılı olarak ele alınırken Kazakistan’da alan ölçme olarak daha kısa yer almaktadır. Türkiye’de Kazakistan’dan farklı olarak cisimlerin farklı yönlerden görünüşleri ve dönüşüm geometrisi yer almaktadır. İki ülkenin ortaokul matematik dersi öğretim programlarının konu içerikleri, özel amaçları diğer disiplinlerle ilişkileri ve değerleri eğitimi yönlerinden benzerlik gösterdikleri, haftalık ders saatlerinde farklılık olduğu TOMP’ta ölçme değerlendirme yaklaşımının net olarak ortaya konduğu fakat KOMP’ta net olarak ortaya konmadığı görülmüştür.

Due to the understanding of national history, states give priority to their national history in history textbooks. However, nations with a common past, interconnected and regionally close have historically similar aspects and common pasts. Another factor that facilitates this phenomenon is the great states in history that dominated large geographies. In this sense, the Great Seljuk State has the feature of being a state that is mentioned both in Turkish history and in the geography where it was founded and under its rule. In this study, it is aimed to analyze the Seljuk history subjects in the history and social studies textbooks recently taught in Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, and Turkey secondary schools located in the Seljuk geography. In the research the descriptive screening method, which is widely used in the social sciences, was used. The historical subjects of the Great Seljuk State were divided into periods and a comparison was made between the textbooks. On the history of the Great Seljuks in the textbooks, it has been focused on which subjects are mentioned and how the subjects are depicted with an image. Are questions that reinforce historical subjects and measure students' success included in the textbooks? Are there reading passages and visuals, where the student can better understand historical subjects, etc. The answers to the questions were sought. The results obtained in the study are tabulated. As a result of the study, there are differences in the information outside of some basic topics such as the Battle of Manzikert, the topics focused on, and the educational layout of textbooks.

Bu araştırmanın amacı; ortaokul öğretmenlerinin ve okul yöneticilerinin mekanik itaat ve bilinçli uyum ikileminde yönetimsel disiplin olgusuna ilişkin düşüncelerini betimlemektir. Araştırma nitel yaklaşımlardan fenomenoloji deseninde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu ortaokul yöneticileri ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinden seçilen toplam 29 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu, veri toplama aşamasında Covid-19’un ortaya çıkması sonucu kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi yöntemi ve kartopu örnekleme yöntemleriyle oluşturulmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanmış yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenler -her ne kadar mekanik itaat temelli yönetim anlayışları insanı nesneleştirse de- bu anlayışların kullanılmadığı durumlarda kaos ve disiplinsizliğin ortaya çıkacağını belirtmişlerdir. Bir başka bulguya göre öğretmenler yönetimsel bağlamda özellikle adalet ve eşitlik sağlanması gerektiğini vurgulamışlardır. Araştırma sonunda uygulayıcılara öğretmenlerin yöneticilerden beklentileri üzerine adil ve eşit bir yönetim anlayışı geliştirmeleri önerilmiştir.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokullarda değerler eğitimine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla çalışma, nitel araştırma deseninde ve durum çalışması modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 30 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. Veriler, tümevarımsal içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. İçerik analizi sonucunda; değerler, yöntemler ve değerlerin öğretimi şeklinde üç ana tema belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre, ortaokullarda öncelikle dürüstlük, yardımseverlik, saygı, hoşgörü, adalet, vatanseverlik, sorumluluk ve çalışkanlık gibi değerler kazandırılmalıdır. Katılımcılar, ortaokullarda değerlerin öğretiminde daha çok rol-model olma, örnek olay inceleme, drama tekniği ve öykü anlatma yöntem ve tekniklerinden yararlandıklarını ifade etmiştir. Katılımcılar ayrıca değerler eğitiminin süreklilik temelinde etkili bir planlama ve işbirliğine dayalı olarak yansıtma, özendirme ve örnek olma şeklinde sürdürülmesi gerektiğini ifade etmektedir. Değerlerin öğretim programlarında kazanımlar şeklinde yer alması, öğrenciler tarafından uygulamalı etkinliklerle içselleştirilmesi, öğretmenler, yöneticiler ve velilerin öğrencilere örnek olması gerektiği önerilmiştir.

Bu araştırmanın amacı Miyase Sertbarut’un kitaplarını okunabilirlik açısından değerlendirmektir. Araştırma tarama modeli ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma materyallerini Miyase Sertbarut’un 10 kitabı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma grubunu ise Ordu ili merkezinde bulunan bir ortaokulda öğrenim gören 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf 57 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada okunabilirlik düzeyini belirlemek amacıyla Ateşman (1997) okunabilirlik formülü, Çetinkaya-Uzun (2010) okunabilirlik formülü ve çıkartmalı okunabilirlik uygulaması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerden hareketle incelenen metinlerin Ateşman okunabilirlik formülüne göre genellikle orta güçlük düzeyinde olduğu; Çetinkaya-Uzun okunabilirlik formülüne göre genellikle eğitsel okuma düzeyinde olduğu; çıkartmalı okunabilirlik uygulamasına göre zor düzeyde olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına dayanarak ebeveynlerin ve öğretmenlerin çocuklara okuma kitabı önerirken bunların okunabilirlik durumlarını göze almaları önerilmektedir.

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on students' mathematics achievement in middle school mathematics lessons. For this purpose, a 6-week program was created in which the RME approach was employed. In order to determine the effectiveness of this program, an experimental group using the RME approach and a control group using traditional teaching method were randomly determined. In order to reveal the effect of the program prepared with RME on mathematics achievement, a "mathematics achievement test" was used at the beginning and end of the experiment. The findings showed that the RME approach has a positive effect (effect size 0.6721) on academic achievement compared to the traditional teaching method. Based on the results obtained, it is recommended to be used in mathematics lessons since the RME approach increases academic achievement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Türkçe eğitiminin temel araçları ders kitaplarıdır. Ders kitapları eğitim öğretim sürecinin verimliliğinde büyük bir rol oynamaktadır. Öğretmenler ağırlıklı olarak ders kitaplarında yer alan metinleri ve etkinlikleri kullanarak Türkçe dersinin hedeflerine ulaşmaya çalışmaktadır. Öğretim programına uygun olarak hazırlanan ders kitapları tematik bir metin seçkisi özelliği göstermektedir. Ortaokul düzeyinde metinlerle birlikte metne bağlı etkinlikleri içeren ders kitapları Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) ve özel yayınevleri tarafından hazırlanmakta ve Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu onayıyla yürürlüğe girmektedir. 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında ortaokul düzeyinde yedi ders kitabı bulunmaktadır. Altıncı ve yedinci sınıf düzeylerinde hem MEB hem de özel yayınevlerinin Türkçe ders kitabı bulunmaktadır. Ders kitaplarındaki metinler öğretim programında yer alan zorunlu ve seçmeli temalara uygun olarak seçilmektedir. Aynı düzey için hazırlanan ders kitaplarında farklı temaların seçilmesi durumu kitapların söz varlığı bakımından niteliklerini değiştirebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada altıncı sınıf düzeyi için MEB Yayınları ve Eksen Yayıncılık tarafından hazırlanan altıncı sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarının söz varlığı bakımından bir karşılaştırması yapılmaktadır. Çalışmada her iki kitabın söz varlığı belirlenerek karşılaştırılmış ve ortak söz varlığı belirlenmiştir. İki kitap arasındaki söz varlığı benzerliğinin %45’in altında olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ders kitaplarından elde edilen sonuçlar Türkçede en sık kullanılan 1000 kelime ile karşılaştırılmıştır. MEB tarafından yayımlanan Türkçe ders kitabındaki metinlerde Türkçede en sık kullanılan 1000 kelimeye %74,4 oranında (744 kelime), Eksen Yayıncılık tarafından yayımlanan Türkçe ders kitabında ise %69,2 oranında (692 kelime) yer verdiği bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada ayrıca her iki kitapta ortak olarak bulunan 1.197 kelimenin Türkçenin en sık kullanılan ilk 1000 kelimeden 588’ini içerdiği belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar farklı yayınevleri tarafından hazırlanan ders kitaplarının aynı sınıf düzeyindeki öğrencilere ortak söz varlığı kazandırmak bakımından yeterli olmadığı sonucunu ortaya koymaktadır.

The aim of this research was to examine the effect of reflective thinking activities on sixth grade students’ attitude towards mathematics. The research has been arranged as the pre- and post-test control group quasi-experimental design. The research participants were composed of 72 sixth grade students. Reflective thinking activities were used in the experimental group. In the control group, mathematics teaching was carried out in accordance with the curriculum of the mathematics course. Dependent and independent samples t-test were used in data analysis, and covariance analysis (ANCOVA) was applied to determine the difference regarding post-tests scores of the groups. According to the results of the data analysis, at the end of the interventions, it seemed that the attitude towards mathematics of the experimental group students were significantly higher than the attitudes of the control group students. Based upon the findings of this study, it can be concluded that reflective thinking activities have a positive effect on students’ attitude towards mathematics. Considering the findings, the researchers have offered suggestions for those who are to perform any other research on reflective thinking activities.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin sözcük düzeyinde yazım yanlışlarının incelenmesidir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi kapsamında Yozgat ili Merkez ilçedeki bir devlet ortaokulunda altıncı sınıfta öğrenim gören 163 öğrenci ile çalışılmıştır. Öğrencilerin 85’i erkek, 78’i kızdır. Veriler 2018 yılı mayıs ayında toplanmıştır. Ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerine Türkçe derslerinde bir ders saati boyunca “aile sevgisi” konulu kompozisyon yazdırılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan araştırma neticesinde, ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin sözcük yazım yanlışları konusunda yedi adet sonuca ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sözcüğe fazladan harf ekleme, sözcükte harf eksikliği, sözcükteki harfi değiştirme, sözcükte hece eksikliği, sözcükte büyük ve küçük harfin bir arada kullanımı, ayrı yazılması gereken sözcüğü veya eki birleştirme, sözcükteki noktalı harflerin yazımında yanlışlık yaptıkları belirlenmiştir. Ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin konuşmadaki yanlışları yazıya aktardıkları belirlenmiştir. Sözcük yazım hatalarının azaltılmasına yönelik olarak, dikte çalışmalarının artırılması önerilmektedir. Bağlaç ve eklerin yazımındaki sıkıntılara yönelik olarak, yazım ve düzeltme çalışmalarının artırılması önerilmektedir. Öğrencilerin yazma çalışmaları sonrasında Türkçe öğretmeninin yazılı metinler üzerinde düzeltmeleri belirtmesi ve bu düzeltmelerin öğrencilere gösterilmesi gerekmektedir.

Çalışmanın amacı okulların örgütsel narsizm düzeyleri ile öğretmenlerin okul iklimi algıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi ve bu ilişkinin demografik değişkenler açısından anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin değerlendirilmesidir. Rize’nin Çayeli ilçesinde ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan 233 öğretmen araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmaktadır. İlişkisel tarama modelinde desenlenen araştırmanın verilerinin toplanmasında “Örgütsel Narsizm” ve “Okul İklimi” ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Analiz sürecinde SPSS programı kullanılarak, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri gerçekleştirilmiş ve t- Testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA); Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis H testi yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda, öğretmenlerin örgütsel narsizm düzeyleri ile okul iklimi algıları arasında pozitif yönlü orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişkinin varlığı tespit edilmiş ve örgütsel narsizmin okul ikliminin anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Ders kitapları, öğrenme etkinliğindeki temel yapısıyla öğrencilerin gelişim sürecinde önemli bir değişkendir. Türkçe ders kitapları işlevsel bir ortam hazırlayıcı olarak eğitsel sürecin şekillenmesinde başat rol oynar. Gelişim çağında olan ilkokul ve ortaokul öğrencileri, Türkçe ders kitaplarında bulunan öykülerdeki kahramanlar ile özdeşim kurmaya yönelirler. Dolayısıyla Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan öykülerdeki kişilerin taşıdığı karakter özellikleri belirleyici önemdedir. Bu çalışma, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından yayınlanan 1, 3, 5, 6, 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitapları ile Dikey Yayıncılık tarafından hazırlanan 2, Doku Yayıncılık tarafından hazırlanan 4, Ez-De Yayıncılık tarafından hazırlanan 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki öykülerde bulunan kişilerin Sever (2007) tarafından belirlenen karakter özelliklerine göre incelenmesini içermektedir. Bu araştırma, nitel araştırma geleneğine dayalı bir doküman analizi çalışmasıdır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel analiz yaklaşımı benimsenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda ilkokul ve ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarında bulunan tüm öykülerdeki (52) karakterlere bakıldığında incelenen 260 karakter açıklık ve kapalılık yönünden %13,46’sı açık, devingenlik ve durağanlık yönünden ise %11,53’ü devingen karakter özellikleri gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. İncelenen 52 öykünün 24’ünde açık karakter özellikleri taşıyan kişiye, 28’inde ise devingen karakter özellikleri taşıyan kişiye yer verilmediği görülmektedir. Bu durum çocuklar için olumsuz sonuçlar oluşturabilecek bir nitelik taşımaktadır. Çalışmada ulaşılan sonuçlara dayalı olarak bir dizi öneri getirilmiştir.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Proje Tabanlı Öğrenme Yaklaşımının (PTÖY) ortaokul öğrencilerinin yazma becerilerine ve yazma kaygılarına etkisini araştırmaktır. Çalışmanın yöntemi ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desendir. Araştırma, İstanbul ili Kağıthane ilçesinde bulunan Cengizhan Ortaokulunda 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında 7. sınıfta öğrenim gören 100 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Deney gruplarında PTÖY’nin aşamaları takip edilirken kontrol gruplarında mevcut Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’nın aşamaları takip edilmiştir. Deneysel çalışma 10 hafta sürmüştür. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen Yazılı Anlatım Becerisi Dereceli Puanlama Anahtarı, Yazma Kaygısı Ölçeği, Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Proje Değerlendirme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin yazılı anlatım becerisi başarı puanlarının deney grupları lehine anlamlı ve daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca deney ve kontrol gruplarındaki öğrencilerinin yazma kaygısı puanlarının deney grupları lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde değiştiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlara göre Türkçe derslerinde PTÖY’nin uygulanmasının, öğrencilerin yazma becerisini geliştirmede ve yazma kaygılarının giderilmesinde etkili olduğu söylenebilir.
