International audience; In a context where organizations group together and organize collective action to address the new challenges (economic, social and environmental) which stem from globalization (König et al.2012; Berkowitz & Dumez, 2016), a new area of enquiry has appeared in management studies to explore new forms of organization known as meta-organizations (Ahrne & Brunsson 2005; Ahrne & Brunsson 2008). This study aims to to understand how a collective vision is constructed within a meta- organization and what unites its members, in other terms the “dynamics of its composition” (Cropper & Bor, 2018) with regards to the tension between interests (organizational and individual) and disinterestedness. Starting from the point of view of Levinas, the present article attempts to address this question by re-examining the place of the individual in the dynamics of the meta-organization.

International audience; Immobility in one’s career, marked by a long period of stability in the same position, is not synonymous with the absence of identity mobility, on the contrary. This can be deduced from the information collected from 23 employees in a French association in the social sector. In this research we draw on the notions of idem, ipse and capacity developed by Ricoeur. A model of the cyclical identity dynamics in daily work experience has been developed, while contributing to the topics of identification and career choice. It also questions the impact of dominant social norms that favour professional mobility on managerial practices and deprive employees from a critical form of recognition.

ORGANIZATIONAL behavior ,BUSINESS ethics - Abstract
Although most ethics development programs favor cognitive, individual, and top-down approaches, our article discusses, using the illustrative example of Volvo Group’s CreaLab, the cohabitation of multiples ethical discourses in organizations and implications for human resource development (HRD). We introduce the concept of the ethics of serendipity resulting from the ongoing dialogue and confrontation between three ethical discourses that we came up with building on Levinas’ work: The Being I discourse, the Being with discourse, and the discourse of the Call of the Other. The ethics of serendipity, thus, appear as a compromise that results from dissatisfaction with the traditional power dynamics of the Being I discourse, the desire to do something together illustrated in the Being with discourse, and the irresistible Call of the Other. Overall, this article answers a call for more social and experiential approaches to ethics in HRD. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

EMPLOYERS ,EMPLOYEES ,VOCATIONAL guidance ,JOB descriptions ,EXECUTIVES - Abstract
Remaining in the same job or with the same employer for a long time, or even an entire career, is not viewed favorably in the dominant managerial discourse. Yet this is the reality for many employees in Europe. What are the mechanisms used by employees to assume this stability in the face of career norms that favor mobility? What is new in this research, with regard to the existing literature, is that it explains the career stability of employees in terms of identification mechanisms, in particular identification with the content of their work. Several results were obtained using the coding method to process the data collected in an association operating in the social sector. We began by distinguishing between four modalities of work content identification: normative, cognitive, emotive and performative. We went on to highlight two effects of work identification: the free will of agents, made possible by the argumentative resources they provide, and dependence on their work through the integration of structural constraints. Three types of arguments (factual, existential and normative) are identified which enable employees to adopt unique positions in relation to their career in the face of today's mobility norms: distantiation, conciliation and conformity. The process-based model proposed contributes to a dialectical reading of careers--between structural and agentic effects--emphasizing the social mechanisms used by employees to "cope" with pressure to embrace career mobility.
