We introduce our efforts within the project ‘The science of deep specification’ to work out the key formal underpinnings of industrial-scale formal specifications of software and hardware components, anticipating a world where large verified systems are routinely built out of smaller verified components that are also used by many other projects. We identify an important class of specification that has already been used in a few experiments that connect strong component-correctness theorems across the work of different teams. To help popularize the unique advantages of that style, we dub itdeep specification, and we say that it encompasses specifications that arerich,two-sided,formalandlive(terms that we define in the article). Our core team is developing a proof-of-concept system (based on the Coq proof assistant) whose specification and verification work is divided across largely decoupled subteams at our four institutions, encompassing hardware microarchitecture, compilers, operating systems and applications, along with cross-cutting principles and tools for effective specification. We also aim to catalyse interest in the approach, not just by basic researchers but also by users in industry.This article is part of the themed issue ‘Verified trustworthy software systems’.

Pulp washing process has the features of multivariate, time delay, nonlinearity. Considering the difficulties of modeling and optimal control in pulp washing process, a data-driven operational-pattern optimization method is proposed to model and optimize the pulp washing process in this paper. The most important quality indexes of pulp washing performance are residual soda in the washed pulp and Baume degree of extracted black liquor. Considering the difficulties of modeling, online measurement of these indexes, two-step neural networks, and multivariate logistic regression are used to establish the prediction models of residual soda and Baume degree. The mathematical model of the washing process can be identified, and the indexes can meet the production requirements. In the target of better product quality, low cost, and low energy consumption, a multiobjective problems is solved by ant colony optimization algorithm based on the optimized operational-pattern database. It shows that the theoretical analyses are correct and the practical applications are feasible, optimization control system has been designed for the pulp washing process, and the practical results show that pulp production increased by 20% and water consumption decreased by nearly 30%. This method is effective in the pulp washing process.

In order to solve the Sylvester equations more efficiently, a new four parameters positive and skew-Hermitian splitting (FPPSS) iterative method is proposed in this paper based on the previous research of the positive and skew-Hermitian splitting (PSS) iterative method. We prove that when coefficient matrix A and B satisfy certain conditions, the FPPSS iterative method is convergent in the parameter&rsquo, s value region. The numerical experiment results show that compared with previous iterative method, the FPPSS iterative method is more effective in terms of iteration number IT and runtime.

In recent years, crowded stampede incidents have occurred frequently, resulting in more and more serious losses. The common cause of such incidents is that when large-scale populations gather in a limited area, the population is highly unstable. In emergency situations, only when the crowd reaches the safe exit as soon as possible within a limited evacuation time to complete evacuation can the loss and casualties be effectively reduced. Therefore, the safety evacuation management of people in public places in emergencies has become a hot topic in the field of public security. Based on the analysis of the factors affecting the crowd path selection, this paper proposes an improved path-planning algorithm based on BEME (Balanced Evacuation for Multiple Exits). And pedestrian evacuation simulation is carried out in multi-exit symmetrical facilities. First, this paper optimizes the update method of the GSDL list in the BEME algorithm as the basis for evacuating pedestrians to choose an exit. Second, the collision between pedestrians is solved by defining the movement rule and collision avoidance strategy. Finally, the algorithm is compared with BEME and traditional path-planning algorithms. The results show that the algorithm can further shorten the global evacuation distance of the symmetrical evacuation scene, effectively balance the number of pedestrians at each exit and reduce the evacuation time. In addition, this improved algorithm uses a collision avoidance strategy to solve the collision and congestion problems in path planning, which helps to maximize evacuation efficiency. Whether the setting of the scene or the setting of the exit, all studies are based on symmetric implementation. This is more in line with the crowd evacuation in the real scene, making the experimental results more meaningful.

This paper presents a computational tool for estimating energy generated by low-power photovoltaic systems based on the specific conditions of the study region since the characteristic energy equation can be obtained considering the main climatological factors affecting these systems in terms of the symmetry or skewness of the random distribution of the generated energy. Furthermore, this paper is aimed at determining any correlation that exists between meteorological variables with respect to the energy generated by 5-kW solar systems in the specific climatic conditions of the Republic of Cuba. The paper also presents the results of the influence of each climate factor on the distribution symmetry of the generated energy of the solar system. Studying symmetry in statistical models is important because they allow us to establish the degree of symmetry (or skewness), which is the probability distribution of a random variable, without having to make a graphical representation of it. Statistical skewness reports the degree to which observations are distributed evenly and proportionally above and below the center (highest) point of the distribution. In the case when the mentioned distribution is balanced, it is called symmetric.

Canonical correlation analysis (CCA) is the default method for investigating the linear dependence structure between two random vectors, but it might not detect nonlinear dependencies. This paper models the nonlinear dependencies between two random vectors by the perturbed independence distribution, a multivariate semiparametric model where CCA provides an insight into their nonlinear dependence structure. The paper also investigates some of its probabilistic and inferential properties, including marginal and conditional distributions, nonlinear transformations, maximum likelihood estimation and independence testing. Perturbed independence distributions are closely related to skew-symmetric ones.

In this paper, we consider fractional ordinary differential equations and the fractional Euler–Poisson–Darboux equation with fractional derivatives in the form of a power of the Bessel differential operator. Using the technique of the Meijer integral transform and its modification, fundamental solutions to these equations are derived in terms of the Fox–Wright function, the Fox H-function, and their particular cases. We also provide some explicit formulas for the solutions to the corresponding initial-value problems in terms of the generalized convolutions introduced in this paper.

This Special Issue covers symmetric and asymmetric data that occur in real-life problems. We invited authors to submit their theoretical or experimental research to present engineering and economic problem solution models that deal with symmetry or asymmetry of different data types. The Special Issue gained interest in the research community and received many submissions. After rigorous scientific evaluation by editors and reviewers, seventeen papers were accepted and published. The authors proposed different solution models, mainly covering uncertain data in multi-criteria decision-making problems as complex tools to balance the symmetry between goals, risks, and constraints to cope with the complicated problems in engineering or management. Therefore, we invite researchers interested in the topics to read the papers provided in the Special Issue.

Since Gottlieb introduced and investigated the so-called Gottlieb polynomials in 1938, which are discrete orthogonal polynomials, many researchers have investigated these polynomials from diverse angles. In this paper, we aimed to investigate the q-extensions of these polynomials to provide certain q-generating functions for three sequences associated with a finite power series whose coefficients are products of the known q-extended multivariable and multiparameter Gottlieb polynomials and another non-vanishing multivariable function. Furthermore, numerous possible particular cases of our main identities are considered. Finally, we return to Khan and Asif’s q-Gottlieb polynomials to highlight certain connections with several other known q-polynomials, and provide its q-integral representation. Furthermore, we conclude this paper by disclosing our future investigation plan.

Power electronic converters are mathematically represented by a system of ordinary differential equations discontinuous right-hand side that does not verify the conditions of the Cauchy-Lipschitz Theorem. More generally, for the properties that characterize their discontinuous behavior, they represent a particular class of systems on which little has been investigated over the years. The purpose of the paper is to prove the existence of at least one global solution in Filippov’s sense to the Cauchy problem related to the mathematical model of a power converter and also to calculate the error in norm between this solution and the integral of its averaged approximation. The main results are the proof of this theorem and the analytical formulation that provides to calculate the cited error. The demonstration starts by a proof of local existence provided by Filippov himself and already present in the literature for a particular class of systems and this demonstration is generalized to the class of electronic power converters, exploiting the non-chattering property of this class of systems. The obtained results are extremely useful for estimating the accuracy of the averaged model used for analysis or control of the effective system. In the paper, the goodness of the analytical proof is supported by experimental tests carried out on a converter prototype representing the class of power electronics converter.

In this paper, we introduce a new representation of semiopenness of L-fuzzy sets in RL-fuzzy bitopological spaces based on the concept of pseudo-complement. The concepts of pairwise RL-fuzzy semicontinuous and pairwise RL-fuzzy irresolute functions are extended and discussed based on the (i,j)-RL-semiopen gradation. Further, pairwise RL-fuzzy semi-compactness of an L-fuzzy set in RL-fuzzy bitopological spaces are given and characterized. As RL-fuzzy bitopology is a generalization of L-bitopology, RL-bitopology, L-fuzzy bitopology, and RL-fuzzy topology, the results of our paper are more general.

In this paper, we introduce and investigate an interesting subclass of meromorphic bi-univalent functions defined on Δ = {z ∈ ℂ: 1 < |z| < ∞}. For functions belonging to this class, estimates on the initial coefficients are obtained. The results presented in this paper generalize and improve some recent works.

The fractional integral is a function known for the elegant results obtained when introducing new operators, it has proved to have interesting applications. In the present paper, differential subordinations and superodinations for the fractional integral of the confluent hypergeometric function introduced in a previously published paper are presented. A sandwich-type theorem at the end of the original part of the paper connects the outcomes of the studies done using the dual theories.

Both the theory of differential subordination and its dual, the theory of differential superordination, introduced by Professors Miller and Mocanu are based on reinterpreting certain inequalities for real-valued functions for the case of complex-valued functions. Studying subordination and superordination properties using different types of operators is a technique that is still widely used, some studies resulting in sandwich-type theorems as is the case in the present paper. The fractional integral of confluent hypergeometric function is introduced in the paper and certain subordination and superordination results are stated in theorems and corollaries, the study being completed by the statement of a sandwich-type theorem connecting the results obtained by using the two theories.

The idea of inequality has been extended from the real plane to the complex plane through the notion of subordination introduced by Professors Miller and Mocanu in two papers published in 1978 and 1981. With this notion came a whole new theory called the theory of differential subordination or admissible functions theory. Later, in 2003, a particular form of inequality in the complex plane was also defined by them as dual notion for subordination, the notion of differential superordination and with it, the theory of differential superordination appeared. In this paper, the theory of differential superordination is applied to confluent hypergeometric function. Hypergeometric functions are intensely studied nowadays, the interest on the applications of those functions in complex analysis being renewed by their use in the proof of Bieberbach’s conjecture given by de Branges in 1985. Using the theory of differential superodination, best subordinants of certain differential superordinations involving confluent (Kummer) hypergeometric function are stated in the theorems and relation with previously obtained results are highlighted in corollaries using particular functions and in a sandwich-type theorem. An example is also enclosed in order to show how the theoretical findings can be applied.

Asphalt production plants play an important role in the field of civil engineering, but also in the entire economic system since the construction of roads enables uninterrupted functioning within it. In this paper, the ranking of asphalt production plants on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina has been performed. The modern economy needs contemporary models and methods to solve complicated MCDM problems and, for these purposes, it has been developed an original Interval Rough Number (IRN) Multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model that implies an extension of two methods belonging to the field with interval rough numbers. After forming a list of eight most significant criteria for assessing the efficiency of asphalt production plants, the Interval Rough Number PIvot Pairwise RElative Criteria Importance Assessment (IRN PIPRECIA) method was developed to determine the significance of the criteria. A total of 21 locations with asphalt mixture installation were considered. For that purpose, seven asphalt production plants were included, and for their ranking, the IRN EDAS (Evaluation based on Distance from Average Solution) method was created. The aim of this paper is to develop a novel interval rough model that can be useful for determining the efficiency of asphalt production plants. Averaging in group decision-making (GDM) for both methods was performed using an IRN Dombi weighted geometric averaging (IRNDWGA) aggregator. The obtained results show that (A15) Ruma (SP)–Mačvanska Mitrovica–Zasavica has the best characteristics out of the set of locations considered in this study. However, Alternatives A6 and A19 are also variants with remarkably good characteristics since there is very little difference in values compared to the first-ranked alternative. Also, the obtained results have shown that the developed model is applicable, which is proven through a comparative analysis.

This paper is concerned with the uncertain multiattribute decision-making (UMADM) of which the attribute value is triangular fuzzy number. Firstly, the max-relative similarity degree and min-relative similarity degree of alternative decision-making objects are given based on the relative similarity degree of triangular fuzzy number, the advantage relation theories to comparative relative similarity degree of triangular fuzzy number are proposed, and some good properties, relations, and conclusions are derived. Secondly, in order to determine the attribute weight vector, a triangular fuzzy number-based decision-making object relative similarity programming model is established with the help of maximizing possibility degree algorithm rules in the cooperative game theory. Subsequently, by aggregating the comparison overall relative similarity degree values of all decision-making objects, we could pick over and sort the set of alternative objects and gather a new model algorithm for the relative similarity programming of triangular fuzzy number-based multiple attribute decision-making alternatives. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the feasibility and practicability of the model algorithm presented in this paper.

Finding exact solutions of nonlinear equations plays an important role in nonlinear science, especially in engineering and mathematical physics. In this paper, we employed the complex method to get eight exact solutions of the modified BBM equation for the first time, including two elliptic function solutions, two simply periodic solutions, and four rational function solutions. We used the exp − ϕ z -expansion methods to get fourteen forms of solutions of the modified BBM equation. We also used the sine-cosine method to obtain eight styles’ exact solutions of the modified BBM equation. Only the complex method can obtain elliptic function solutions. We believe that the complex method presented in this paper can be more effectively applied to seek solutions of other nonlinear evolution equations.

The carbon footprint of the cold chain logistics system refers to the greenhouse gas emissions directly or indirectly caused in each link of the cold chain logistics activities. Because cold chain logistics is the main carbon emitter in the field of logistics, research on how to reduce carbon emissions in the field of cold chain logistics plays an important role in energy conservation and emission reduction. Based on the in-depth analysis of the carbon footprint of cold chain logistics, this paper introduces the distance coefficient and freshness parameters into the optimization model innovatively and uses the life cycle assessment method and input-output method to determine the calculation range of the carbon footprint of fresh products of each link in the cold chain logistics. The system calculates the carbon emissions generated by the production and operation activities of each place of origin, distribution center, retailer, and waste disposal during the circulation of fresh products. This paper establishes a carbon footprint optimization model to discuss how to balance carbon constraints and minimized costs. Through the analysis of the simulation results, from the perspective of the government and enterprises, corresponding countermeasures are put forward to more effectively achieve the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction and guide the cold chain logistics industry to sustainable development.

Nowadays, eco-efficiency is one of the most widely used comprehensive indicators in many fields and sectors. Understanding eco-efficiency is of great significance to implement sustainable socioeconomic development for decision makers. To assess the comprehensive performance of industrial investment, the eco-efficiency of industrial investment (EEII) is constructed under the comprehensive perspective of economic benefits, energy consumption, and environmental impact in this paper. Then, a new superefficient undesirable-output slack-based measure DEA (SeUo-SBM-DEA) model is proposed and applied to assess the EEII of 30 provinces in China from 2015 to 2017, and its influencing factors are analyzed using the Tobit regression. The empirical results show the following: (1) the eco-efficiency of China’s industrial investment is generally low (0.613), and there exists a significant regional disparity; namely, the average value of EEII was the highest in the eastern regions (0.838), followed by the central regions (0.6) and western regions (0.397). (2) R&D expenditure, economic development level, and foreign direct investment all had a significant positive effect on the eco-efficiency of industrial investment, while investment in treatment of industrial pollution sources and total education funds all had a significant negative effect. Finally, this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote sustainable development of industrial investment based on our findings.

Global income inequality is widening and carbon emissions remain high. So, reducing carbon emissions and income gap are urgent challenges. The purpose of this paper is to analysis how carbon emission efficiency influences the region income inequality. The improvement of carbon emission reduction efficiency has widened the regional income inequality with the flow of high-tech labor as an intermediary variable in China. Methods used in this article are mediating effect model and DEA method. This paper constructs a disposable income model of income and health costs, where health costs are a function of carbon reduction. If income is fixed, then the expectations of disposable income will change as the level of carbon emission reduction changes. This study finds that the disposable income expectations of high-income areas increases, while the disposable income expectations of lower-income areas decrease with the improvement of carbon emission reduction efficiency. High-income regions attract high-income labor from other regions, resulting in the widening of regional income inequality under the constraint of high cost of living. This result is verified by the data of China from 2007 to 2017. The regression model with Geordie coefficient as the dependent variable, carbon emission reduction efficiency as the core independent variable, gravitation of high-tech talent as the mediator variable, and urbanization rate, educational level, social security coverage, and highway and railway traffic mileage as control variables not only verifies the above results but also finds that high-tech talents’ flow is not the only intermediary between carbon emission reduction efficiency and regional income inequality. This paper finds that when the carbon emission reduction efficiency increases by one unit, the income inequality gap of 25 provinces increases by 0.0202 units, provinces with high carbon emission reduction efficiency increases by 0.107 units, and provinces with medium carbon emission reduction efficiency increases by 0.026 units. However, the income inequality gap of provinces with low carbon emission reduction efficiency decreases by 0.0390 units. The carbon emission reduction efficiency of the high and medium carbon emission reduction efficiency groups is proportional to the income inequality, while the low carbon emission reduction efficiency group is the opposite, when the carbon emission reduction efficiency is grouped into high efficiency group, medium efficiency group, and low efficiency group. The reason for this result is that the high carbon emission reduction efficiency of the former attracts high-income high-tech talent, while the latter's narrowing regional income inequality benefits from the reduction costs of health and the government’s ecological compensation. The effective measures to narrow the income inequality are to implement carbon emission reduction policy, industrial policy, education investment policy, and public service policy, according to the above findings.

The main objective of this paper is to introduce I p , q ϱ -derivative and I p , q ϱ -integral for interval-valued functions and discuss their key properties. Also, we prove the I p , q ϱ -Hermite–Hadamard inequalities for interval-valued functions is the development of p , q ϱ -Hermite–Hadamard inequalities by using new defined I p , q ϱ -integral. Moreover, we prove some results for midpoint- and trapezoidal-type inequalities by using the concept of Pompeiu–Hausdorff distance between the intervals. It is also shown that the results presented in this paper are extensions of some of the results already shown in earlier works. The proposed studies produce variants that would be useful for performing in-depth investigations on fractal theory, optimization, and research problems in different applied fields, such as computer science, quantum mechanics, and quantum physics.

This paper shows the importance of automated scoring (AS) and that it is better than human graders in terms of degree of reproducibility. Considering the potential of the automated scoring system, there is further a need to refine and develop the existing system. The paper goes through the state of the art. It presents the results concerning the problems of existing systems. The paper also presents the semantic features that are indispensable in the scoring system as they have complete content. Moreover, in the present research, a huge deviation has been exhibited by the system which has been shown later in performance analysis of the study, and this clearly indicates the novelty and improved results of the system. It explains the algorithms included in the methodology of this proposed system. The novelty of our work consists in the use of its own similarity function and its notation mechanism. It does not use the cosine similarity function between two vectors. This paper describes and develops a more accurate system which employs a statistical method for scoring. This system adopts and integrates rule-based semantic feature analysis.

This paper presents a modified chaotic system under the fractional operator with singularity. The aim of the present subject will be to focus on the influence of the new model’s parameters and its fractional order using the bifurcation diagrams and the Lyapunov exponents. The new fractional model will generate chaotic behaviors. The Lyapunov exponents’ theories in fractional context will be used for the characterization of the chaotic behaviors. In a fractional context, the phase portraits will be obtained with a predictor-corrector numerical scheme method. The details of the numerical scheme will be presented in this paper. The numerical scheme will be used to analyze all the properties addressed in this present paper. The Matignon criterion will also play a fundamental role in the local stability of the presented model’s equilibrium points. We will find a threshold under which the stability will be removed and the chaotic and hyperchaotic behaviors will be generated. An adaptative control will be proposed to correct the instability of the equilibrium points of the model. Sensitive to the initial conditions, we will analyze the influence of the initial conditions on our fractional chaotic system. The coexisting attractors will also be provided for illustrations of the influence of the initial conditions.

Testing the number of components in a finite mixture is considered one of the challenging problems. In this paper, exponential finite mixtures are used to determine the number of components in a finite mixture. A sequential testing procedure is adopted based on the likelihood ratio test (LRT) statistic. The distribution of the test statistic under the null hypothesis is obtained using a resampling technique based on B bootstrap samples. The quantiles of the distribution of the test statistic are evaluated from the B bootstrap samples. The performance of the test is examined through the empirical power and application on two real datasets. The proposed procedure is not only used for testing the number of components but also for estimating the optimal number of components in a finite exponential mixture distribution. The innovation of this paper is the sequential test, which tests the more general hypothesis of a finite exponential mixture of k components versus a mixture of k + 1 components. The special case of testing an exponential mixture of one component versus two components is the one commonly used in the literature.

The main purpose of this study is to construct a base for a new fuzzy set concept that is called consistency fuzzy set (CFS) which expresses the multidimensional uncertain data quite successfully. Our motive is to reduce the complexity and difficulty caused by the information contained in the truth sequence in a fuzzy multiset (FMS) and to present the data of the truth sequence in a more understandable and compact manner. Therefore, this paper introduces the concept of CFS that is characterized with a truth function defined on a universal set 0,1 2 . The first component of the truth pair of a CFS is the average value of the truth sequence of a FMS and the second component is the consistency degree, that is, the fuzzy complement of the standard deviation of the truth sequence of the same FMS. The main contribution of a CFS is the reflection of both the level of the average of the data that can be expressed with the different sequence lengths and the degree of the reasonable information in data via consistency degree. To develop this new concept, this paper also presents a correlation coefficient and a cosine similarity measure between CFSs. Furthermore, the proposed correlation coefficient and cosine similarity measure are applied to a multiperiod medical diagnosis problem. Finally, a comparison analysis is given between the obtained results and the existing results in literature to show the efficiency and rationality of the proposed correlation coefficient and cosine similarity measure.

With generating function and structural analysis, this paper presents the subtree generating functions and the subtree number index of generalized book graphs, generalized fan graphs, and generalized wheel graphs, respectively. As an application, this paper also briefly studies the subtree number index and the asymptotic properties of the subtree densities in regular book graphs, regular fan graphs, and regular wheel graphs. The results provide the basis for studying novel structural properties of the graphs generated by generalized book graphs, fan graphs, and wheel graphs from the perspective of the subtree number index.

Physical monitoring and analysis are of great significance to improve national physical fitness. The main work of this paper is that the physical health level of college students is studied and analysed by using a statistical model and mathematical model. According to the characteristics of the collected data, different mathematical models are established. Firstly, the grey correlation model is used to analyse the correlation between pull-up and other physical fitness indexes. Then, based on the classification of college students and the influence and flow law of interclass crowd, a differential equation system is established based on the LMC model. By analysing the existence and stability of the equilibrium point of the system, as well as the possible folding bifurcation and backward bifurcation at the equilibrium point, this paper makes qualitative and quantitative research on the trend of college students’ physical exercise on campus.

The household energy consumption has been a hot field in the study of household energy consumption in recent years. With the increase of residents’ income level and the pushing of urbanization, there is a complex nonlinear relationship between energy price and energy consumption. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the scenario effect of per capita income and regional differences in urbanization development on the relationship between electricity sales price and urban household electricity consumption. To this direction, based on the regional characteristics of economic development in China, with the residents’ disposable income and the urbanization level as the conversion variables and the electricity sales price as the core explanatory variable, the panel smooth transition regression (PSTR) model of electricity sales price and urban household electricity consumption from the perspectives of income level and urbanization has been constructed in this paper. The empirical results show the following: (1) Under the consideration of regional difference of residents’ income level, with the increase of residents’ disposable income level, there is a significant negative correlation between electricity sales price and urban household electricity consumption in the whole country, the eastern region, and the central region, while such correlation is significantly positive in the western region. (2) Under the consideration of the difference of urbanization development level, the national regional electricity sales price and the urbanization level are positively related to the urban household electricity consumption, and the urbanization level in the western region plays the biggest role in promoting the urban household electricity consumption, followed by the eastern region and then the central region which plays the smallest role. This paper discusses the effect of electricity sales price on urban household electricity consumption from the perspective of regional difference in income and urbanization, which provides the decision-making basis and empirical support for developing regional electricity price policy and household energy consumption policy.

Aerobics is one of the main contents of physical education, which has a positive role in promoting the health of young people. This paper mainly studies the parallel processing method of inertial aerobics multisensor data fusion. In this paper, an aerobics exercise system is designed, which uses digital filter to remove the noise generated in the process of exercise. In this paper, Kalman filter is used to filter the pulse error of accelerometer, and the data structure of unidirectional link is used to achieve the effect of sliding window, which can reduce the memory cost to the greatest extent. In this paper, the region of moving object is determined by horizontal and vertical projection of binary symmetric difference image. At the same time, the optimal feature combination is selected from the reduced features by feature subset selection, and the classification algorithm is used as the evaluation function in the optimization process. Finally, the collected data are tested, analyzed, and sorted out. The experimental data show that, after calibrating the sensor data, the static x-axis and y-axis data are about 0 g, and the z-axis data are about 1 g, which is closer to the real value. The results show that the attitude data collected by the inertial sensor can be stably transmitted to the software of the computer wirelessly for attitude reconstruction, and the recognition of each attitude and parameter has reached a high accuracy.

Since the human society entered the electrification era, people’s work, life, and even the production and development of various industries in society are inseparable from the supply of electricity. The purpose of this paper is to establish a cable insulation life evaluation model based on the improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to test the current insulation characteristics and life of various types of cables, so as to ensure the quality of power supply and safe production of power. This paper first understands the cable insulation characteristics test process and electrical power-related knowledge through a large number of literature studies and consultation with power grid professionals. Then this paper combines the theoretical research and improvement of the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process based on the actual situation of the cable insulation characteristics, thereby constructing the cable insulation life evaluation model. In this evaluation model, this paper combines the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and the analytic hierarchy process as well as the actual situation of the cable characteristic test to analyze and predict the insulation life of the cable. Finally, the linear test and reliability estimation of the experimental results are carried out, and the application of this evaluation model is extended to the evaluation of insulation life of other types of cables. Based on this, this paper proposes a cable insulation life evaluation model based on the improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. This model combines the Weibull model and the Arrhenius model commonly used in the assessment of cable insulation aging life and the improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Experiments have proved that, within a certain range, temperature factors have a significant impact on the cable insulation life. For example, when the temperature is below 55°C, the insulation life of the cable is usually 30 to 50 years. However, the evaluation model of the improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process in this paper has much higher accuracy in evaluating cable insulation life than other life evaluation methods.

With the rapid development of the information age, Internet and other technologies have been making progress, people’s fitness awareness has been gradually enhanced, and sports fitness app has emerged as the times require. This paper mainly studies the step-counting function of physical training app for teenagers based on artificial intelligence. This paper uses the modular development method to achieve the functional requirements of the system as the goal, respectively, for parameter management, website configuration, system log, interface security settings, SMS configuration, WeChat template message and several functional modules to achieve system configuration. In this paper, three types of sensors are used to analyze the data changes in the process of walking through three types of data, and different weights are given as the results of step-counting. When the peak value of sensor data is measured, only the peak value of the primary axial data of each sensor is analyzed, which should be determined according to the actual axial value of the sensor. In this paper, the users’ evaluation indexes of sports fitness app are divided into two groups: importance and satisfaction, so the obtained data are directly divided into two groups: importance and satisfaction of user experience indexes of sports fitness app, and the two groups of data are matched with the sample t test to ensure the scientific conclusion. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of the user experience of college students’ sports fitness app are analyzed through IPA analysis. Heuristic evaluation is carried out on the step app to score the second-level usability index of the app. The first-level usability index score and the total usability score of the step app are obtained by calculation. There is not much difference between male and female students who use sports apps. Among them, 288 are male students, accounting for 58.2% of the total and 16.4% are female students. The results show that the use of artificial intelligence technology can reduce the overall energy consumption of step-counting algorithm, so as to achieve an energy-saving step-counting algorithm.

This paper introduces a general approach to the idea of protection of graphs, which encompasses the known variants of secure domination and introduces new ones. Specifically, we introduce the study of secure w-domination in graphs, where w=(w0,w1,⋯,wl) is a vector of nonnegative integers such that w0&ge, 1. The secure w-domination number is defined as follows. Let G be a graph and N(v) the open neighborhood of v&isin, V(G). We say that a function f:V(G)⟶{0,1,⋯,l} is a w-dominating function if f(N(v))=&sum, u&isin, N(v)f(u)&ge, wi for every vertex v with f(v)=i. The weight of f is defined to be &omega, (f)=&sum, v&isin, V(G)f(v). Given a w-dominating function f and any pair of adjacent vertices v,u&isin, V(G) with f(v)=0 and f(u)&gt, 0, the function fu&rarr, v is defined by fu&rarr, v(v)=1, fu&rarr, v(u)=f(u)&minus, 1 and fu&rarr, v(x)=f(x) for every x&isin, V(G)∖{u,v}. We say that a w-dominating function f is a secure w-dominating function if for every v with f(v)=0, there exists u&isin, N(v) such that f(u)&gt, 0 and fu&rarr, v is a w-dominating function as well. The secure w-domination number of G, denoted by &gamma, ws(G), is the minimum weight among all secure w-dominating functions. This paper provides fundamental results on &gamma, ws(G) and raises the challenge of conducting a detailed study of the topic.

This paper described a method to design a limit-cycle suppressor. The dithering technique was used to eliminate self-sustained oscillations or limit cycles. Otherwise, the Dual Input Describing Function (DIDF) method was applied to design dither parameters and analyze the existence of limit cycles. This method was done in a nonlinear system with relay nonlinearity using three standard dither signals, namely sine, triangle, and square waves. The aim of choosing varying dithers was to investigate the effect of dither shapes and the minimum amplitude required for the quenching strategy. First, the possibility and amplitude of limit cycles were determined graphically on the DIDF curve. Then, the minimum amplitude of dither was calculated based on the DIDF analysis. Finally, a simulation was built to verify the analytical work using a digital computer. The simulation results were related to the analysis results. It was evident that the dithering technique is a simple way to suppress limit cycles in a nonlinear system. This paper also presented that dither is an amplitude function, and square-wave dither has the minimum amplitude to quench limit cycles.

Stakhov&rsquo, s papers have motivated many other scientists to seek certain generalizations by introducing new additional coefficients into recurrence of Fibonacci p-numbers. In 2013, I. Włoch et al. studied (2,q)-distance Fibonacci numbers F2(q,n) and found some of their combinatorial properties. In this paper, we state a new coding theory based on the sequence (Tq(n))n=&minus, &infin, which is an extension of Włoch&rsquo, s sequence (F2(q,n))n=0&infin

In this paper, we study Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (p,q)-Genocchi polynomials. To be specific, we define Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (p,q)-Genocchi polynomials and Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (h,p,q)-Genocchi polynomials. This paper also explores properties including distribution relation and symmetric identities. In addition, we find alternating (p,q)-power sums. We identify symmetric identities using Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (h,p,q)-Genocchi polynomials and alternating (p,q)-power sums.

Let Ckn,l be a simple closed k-curves with l elements in Zn and W:=Ckn,l&or, ⋯&or, Ckn,l︷m-times be an m-iterated digital wedges of Ckn,l, and F(Conk(W)) be an alignment of fixed point sets of W. Then, the aim of the paper is devoted to investigating various properties of F(Conk(W)). Furthermore, when proceeding with this work, this paper addresses several unsolved problems. To be specific, we firstly formulate an alignment of fixed point sets of Ckn,l, denoted by F(Conk(Ckn,l)), where l(&ge, 7) is an odd natural number and k&ne, 2n. Secondly, given a digital image (X,k) with X♯=n, we find a certain condition that supports n&minus, 1,n&minus, 2&isin, F(Conk(X)). Thirdly, after finding some features of F(Conk(W)), we develop a method of making F(Conk(W)) perfect according to the (even or odd) number l of Ckn,l. Finally, we prove that the perfectness of F(Conk(W)) is equivalent to that of F(Conk(Ckn,l)). This can play an important role in studying fixed point theory and digital curve theory. This paper only deals with k-connected digital images (X,k) such that X♯&ge, 2.

The Łukasiewicz conjunction (sometimes also considered to be a logic of absolute comparison), which is used in multivalued logic and in fuzzy set theory, is one of the most important t-norms. In combination with the binary operation ‘maximum’, the Łukasiewicz t-norm forms the basis for the so-called max-Łuk algebra, with applications to the investigation of systems working in discrete steps (discrete events systems; DES, in short). Similar algebras describing the work of DES’s are based on other pairs of operations, such as max-min algebra, max-plus algebra, or max-T algebra (with a given t-norm, T). The investigation of the steady states in a DES leads to the study of the eigenvectors of the transition matrix in the corresponding max-algebra. In real systems, the input values are usually taken to be in some interval. Various types of interval eigenvectors of interval matrices in max-min and max-plus algebras have been described. This paper is oriented to the investigation of strong, strongly tolerable, and strongly universal interval eigenvectors in a max-Łuk algebra. The main method used in this paper is based on max-Ł linear combinations of matrices and vectors. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the recognition of strong, strongly tolerable, and strongly universal eigenvectors have been found. The theoretical results are illustrated by numerical examples.

In this paper a new method called the least squares differential quadrature method (LSDQM) is introduced as a straightforward and efficient method to compute analytical approximate polynomial solutions for nonlinear partial differential equations with fractional time derivatives. LSDQM is a combination of the differential quadrature method and the least squares method and in this paper it is employed to find approximate solutions for a very general class of nonlinear partial differential equations, wherein the fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. The paper contains a clear, step-by-step presentation of the method and a convergence theorem. In order to emphasize the accuracy of LSDQM we included two test problems previously solved by means of other, well-known methods, and observed that our solutions present not only a smaller error but also a much simpler expression. We also included a problem with no known exact solution and the solutions computed by LSDQM are in good agreement with previous ones.

In this paper, we study the spectrality and frame-spectrality of exponential systems of the type $$E(\Lambda ,\varphi ) = \{e^{2\pi i \lambda \cdot \varphi (x)}: \lambda \in \Lambda \}$$ where the phase function $$\varphi $$ is a Borel measurable which is not necessarily linear. A complete characterization of pairs $$(\Lambda ,\varphi )$$ for which $$E(\Lambda ,\varphi )$$ is an orthogonal basis or a frame for $$L^{2}(\mu )$$ is obtained. In particular, we show that the middle-third Cantor measures and the unit disc, each admits an orthogonal basis with a certain non-linear phase. Under a natural regularity condition on the phase functions, when $$\mu $$ is the Lebesgue measure on [0, 1] and $$\Lambda = {{\mathbb {Z}}},$$ we show that only the standard phase functions $$\varphi (x) = \pm x$$ are the only possible functions that give rise to orthonormal bases. Surprisingly, however we prove that there exist a greater degree of flexibility, even for continuously differentiable phase functions in higher dimensions. For instance, we were able to describe a large class of functions $$\varphi $$ defined on $${{\mathbb {R}}}^{d}$$ such that the system $$E(\Lambda ,\varphi )$$ is an orthonormal basis for $$L^{2}[0,1]^{d}$$ when $$d\ge 2.$$ Moreover, we discuss how our results apply to the discretization problem of unitary representations of locally compact groups for the construction of orthonormal bases. Finally, we conclude the paper by stating several open problems.

In this paper, a new method for determining weight coefficients by forming a non-decreasing series at criteria significance levels (the NDSL method) is presented. The NDLS method includes the identification of the best criterion (i.e., the most significant and most influential criterion) and the ranking of criteria in a decreasing series from the most significant to the least significant criterion. Criteria are then grouped as per the levels of significance within the framework of which experts express their preferences in compliance with the significance of such criteria. By employing this procedure, fully consistent results are obtained. In this paper, the advantages of the NDSL model are singled out through a comparison with the Best Worst Method (BWM) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) models. The advantages include the following: (1) the NDSL model requires a significantly smaller number of pairwise comparisons of criteria, only involving an n &minus, 1 comparison, whereas the AHP requires an n(n &minus, 1)/2 comparison and the BWM a 2n &minus, 3 comparison, (2) it enables us to obtain reliable (consistent) results, even in the case of a larger number of criteria (more than nine criteria), (3) the NDSL model applies an original algorithm for grouping criteria according to the levels of significance, through which the deficiencies of the 9-degree scale applied in the BWM and AHP models are eliminated. By doing so, the small range and inconsistency of the 9-degree scale are eliminated, (4) while the BWM includes the defining of one unique best/worst criterion, the NDSL model eliminates this limitation and gives decision-makers the freedom to express the relationships between criteria in accordance with their preferences. In order to demonstrate the performance of the developed model, it was tested on a real-world problem and the results were validated through a comparison with the BWM and AHP models.

In the intersection of the theories of nonsymmetric Jack polynomials in N variables and representations of the symmetric groups S N one finds the singular polynomials. For certain values of the parameter &kappa, there are Jack polynomials which span an irreducible S N -module and are annihilated by the Dunkl operators. The S N -module is labeled by a partition of N, called the isotype of the polynomials. In this paper the Jack polynomials are of the vector-valued type, i.e., elements of the tensor product of the scalar polynomials with the span of reverse standard Young tableaux of the shape of a fixed partition of N. In particular, this partition is of shape m , m , &hellip, m with 2 k components and the constructed singular polynomials are of isotype m k , m k for the parameter &kappa, = 1 / m + 2 . This paper contains the necessary background on nonsymmetric Jack polynomials and representation theory and explains the role of Jucys&ndash, Murphy elements in the construction. The main ingredient is the proof of uniqueness of certain spectral vectors, namely the list of eigenvalues of the Jack polynomials for the Cherednik&ndash, Dunkl operators, when specialized to &kappa, = 1 / m + 2 . The paper finishes with a discussion of associated maps of modules of the rational Cherednik algebra and an example illustrating the difficulty of finding singular polynomials for arbitrary partitions.

In this paper, new sufficient conditions for oscillation of fourth-order neutral differential equations are established. One objective of our paper is to further improve and complement some well-known results which were published recently in the literature. Symmetry ideas are often invisible in these studies, but they help us decide the right way to study them, and to show us the correct direction for future developments. An example is given to illustrate the importance of our results.

There are two parts for this paper. In the first part, we extend some results in a recent paper by Du, Guth, Li and Zhang to a more general class of phase functions. The main methods are Bourgain-Demeter's $l^2$ decoupling theorem and induction on scales. In the second part, we prove some positive results for the maximal extension operator for hypersurfaces with positive principal curvatures. The main methods are sharp $L^2$ estimates by Du and Zhang, and the bilinear method by Wolff and Tao., 24 pages, revised version incorporating referees' suggestions

In the first part of our paper, we construct a cyclic hypergroup of matrices using the Ends Lemma. Its properties are then, in the second part of the paper, used to describe the symmetry of lower and upper approximations in certain rough sets with respect to invertible subhypergroups of this cyclic hypergroup. Since our approach is widely used in autonomous robotic systems, we suggest an application of our results for the study of detection sensors, which are used especially in mobile robot mapping.

With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization in China, a large amount of waste in industrial parks has become the main cause of regional environmental pollution. In order to solve this problem, this paper relied on artificial intelligence’s prediction technology and image recognition technology to intelligently upgrade the traditional industrial waste planning management system and designed a waste intelligent classification center with intelligent prediction and intelligent classification capabilities. So, as to realize this new intelligent classification center and explain its value, this paper explains the key implementation technology of this intelligent classification center and validates it by constructing a multitarget location model that considers both economic and environmental benefits.

Connectivity is a significant metric for evaluating the error lenience of an interconnected net G=V,E. In the paper (Fàbrega and Fiol, 1996), the authors addressed the g-extra connectivity which is applied to better measure the consistency and error tolerance of G. As a special Cayley graph, the n-dimensional wheel network CWn has some desirable features. This paper shows that the g-extra connectivity of CWnn≥6 is 6n−12 when g=2.

We give a short overview on the decomposition property for integrable multifunctions, i.e., when an &ldquo, integrable in a certain sense&rdquo, multifunction can be represented as a sum of one of its integrable selections and a multifunction integrable in a narrower sense. The decomposition theorems are important tools of the theory of multivalued integration since they allow us to see an integrable multifunction as a translation of a multifunction with better properties. Consequently, they provide better characterization of integrable multifunctions under consideration. There is a large literature on it starting from the seminal paper of the authors in 2006, where the property was proved for Henstock integrable multifunctions taking compact convex values in a separable Banach space X. In this paper, we summarize the earlier results, we prove further results and present tables which show the state of art in this topic.

This paper proposes a chaotic color image encryption scheme based on DNA-coding calculations and arithmetic over the Galois field. Firstly, three modified one-dimensional (1D) chaotic maps with larger key space and better chaotic characteristics are presented. The experimental results show that their chaotic intervals are not only expanded to 0,15, but their average largest Lyapunov Exponent reaches 10. They are utilized as initial keys. Secondly, DNA coding and calculations are applied in order to add more permutation of the cryptosystem. Ultimately, the numeration over the Galois field ensures the effect for the diffusion of pixels. The simulation analysis shows that the encryption scheme proposed in this paper has good encryption effect, and the numerical results verify that it has higher security than some of the latest cryptosystems.

Suppose that p and q are two distinct odd prime numbers with n = p q . In this paper, the uniform representation of general two-prime generalized cyclotomy with order two over ℤ n was demonstrated. Based on this general generalized cyclotomy, a type of binary sequences defined over F l was presented and their minimal polynomials and linear complexities were derived, where l = r s with a prime number r and gcd l , n = 1 . The results have indicated that the linear complexities of these sequences are high without any special requirements on the prime numbers. Furthermore, we employed these sequences to obtain a few cyclic codes over F l with length n and developed the lower bounds of the minimum distances of many cyclic codes. It is important to stress that some cyclic codes in this paper are optimal.
