The Oesterreichische Wirtschaftspsychologische Forschungsstelle was founded two years ago in Vienna by the Department of Psychology in the University of that city, in co-operation with industrial organizations, in order to carry out scientific research on appropriate problems of a social nature, and to conduct investigations in market research for individual firms. In the following article a member of that Industrial Institute briefly describes, with practical examples, the technique which it employs in its market research investigations. It is interesting to compare this technique with that adopted by the National Institute of Industrial Psychology (cf. this Journal, vol. vii, no. 11, pp. 375–85). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
