This study emphasises the primary designing characteristics of serious games that make a balance between entertainment and education. The method description was utilised as a tool based on the analysis of serious game structure, strategies, model application, and factors of games supporting entertainment and the learning process in the literature. Through Summon system (a systematic digital library that includes various popular digital libraries), 52 potential studies were collected within the recent five years (from 2018 to 2023). The result shows that 13 methods are utilised to design serious games in reviewed papers. These methods involve a diversity of design theories proposed in these papers selected and some potential dimensions that impact the design of serious games to create the balance between entertainment and education. This research paper focuses on the details of designing and executing an assessment center towards an endeavor for leadership readiness in organizations. The paper is designed to help today's managers and professionals about the fundamental information required to create the assessment centers that can act as a springboard to develop the employee's leadership abilities. Being a talent development practitioner, the author could trace and provide insights on how assessment centers can provide an ideal platform for the high potential performers in organizations to be successful in an increasingly complex world. Based on literature review and the contemporary work done the most critical need today in business leadership is a new kind of leader: authentic leader- and the assessment center approach can serve as a pedestal and tool in evaluating the leadership traits and competencies. The efforts involved in designing and executing an assessment center is outlined that can be used in nurturing the high potential performers for leadership readiness. The objective of this study is to analyze how the orchestration dynamics happens to create an urban innovation ecosystem and what dimensions are needed in each phase of the orchestration. For this, we use a procedural approach to study a case in Latin America, the Pacto Alegre, which is a project developed in southern Brazil. Our study showed that the first orchestration dimension that must be in action in ecosystem creation projects is the Agenda Setting, followed by Knowledge Mobility Management, Coordination and Appropriability Management of innovation. We demonstrate that the role of the quadruple helix actors' changes over time and according to the dimension of the mobilized orchestration. This article contributes to the literature demonstrating how the orchestration dynamics to create an urban innovation ecosystem happen and reveals the existence of a hierarchy of dimensions over time. Here we focus on the high-Q small-angle neutron scattering where we observed deviations from an ideal power law Q−2. From theory, this deviation Δ arises from the critical correlation-function exponent ηd in d dimensions. The investigated systems were 3-methyl pyridine/D2O without and with antagonistitc salt. They display the critical behavior of a 3d and 2d Ising system, respectively. In the first case, the value of Δ matches the ideal value η3 well, but in the latter case the value of Δ is affected by the two confined dimensions and the third dimension. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Deepfakes have garnered widespread attention for their malicious use. Despite its infamy, deepfakes can bring forth a myriad of benefits. Given the controversies around deepfake, it is unclear why people adopt this technology for various purposes. Through the lens of rational choice theory, we develop a research model to explain deepfake adoption. From the perspective of deepfake developers, we categorize deepfake usage based on two dimensions: purpose (utilitarian vs. hedonic) and valence (benevolent vs. malevolent). Deepfake adoption is driven by a risk benefit analysis which, in turn, is influenced by socioenvironmental factors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
