Incorporating two organic ligands with different functionalities into a titanium-oxo cluster entity simultaneously can endow the material with their respective properties and provide synergistic performance enhancement, which is of great significance for enriching the structure and properties of titanium-oxo clusters (TOCs). However, the synthesis of such TOCs is highly challenging. In this work, we successfully synthesized a TBC4A-functionalized TOC, [Ti2(TBC4A)2(MeO)2] (Ti2; MeOH = methanol, TBC4A = tert-butylcalix[4]arene). By adjusting the solvent system, we successfully introduced 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) and prepared TBC4A and Phen co-protected [Ti2(TBC4A)2(Phen)2] (Ti2-Phen). Moreover, when Phen was replaced with bulky 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Bphen), [Ti2(TBC4A)2(Bphen)2] (Ti2-Bphen), which is isostructural with Ti2-Phen, was obtained, demonstrating the generality of the synthetic method. Remarkably, Ti2-Phen demonstrates good stability and stronger light absorption, as well as superior photoelectric performance compared to Ti2. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations reveal that there exists ligand-to-core charge transfer (LCCT) in Ti2, while an unusual ligand-to-ligand charge transfer (LLCT) is present in Ti2-Phen, accompanied by partial LCCT. Therefore, the superior light absorption and photoelectric properties of Ti2-Phen are attributed to the existence of the unusual LLCT phenomenon. This study not only deeply explores the influence of Phen on the performance of the material but also provides a reference for the preparation of materials with excellent photoelectric performance. Soil properties can affect plant population dynamics and the coexistence of native and invasive plants, thus potentially affecting community structure and invasion trends. However, the different impacts of soil physicochemical properties on species diversity and structure in native and invaded plant communities remain unclear. In this study, we established a total of 30 Alternanthera philoxeroides-invaded plots and 30 control plots in an area at the geographical boundary between North and South China. We compared the differences in species composition between the invaded and native plant communities, and we then used the methods of regression analysis, redundancy analysis (RDA), and canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) to examine the impacts of soil physicochemical properties on four α-diversity indices and the species distribution of these two types of communities. We found that A. philoxeroides invasion increased the difference between the importance values of dominant plant species, and the invasion coverage had a negative relationship with the soil-available potassium (R2 = 0.135; p = 0.046) and Patrick richness index (R2 = 0.322; p < 0.001). In the native communities, the species diversity was determined with soil chemical properties, the Patrick richness index, the Simpson dominance index, and the Shannon–Wiener diversity index, which all decreased with the increase in soil pH value, available potassium, organic matter, and ammonium nitrogen. However, in the invaded communities, the species diversity was determined by soil physical properties; the Pielou evenness index increased with increasing non-capillary porosity but decreased with increasing capillary porosity. The determinants of species distribution in the native communities were soil porosity and nitrate nitrogen, while the determinants in the invaded communities were soil bulk density and available potassium. In addition, compared with the native communities, the clustering degree of species distribution in the invaded communities intensified. Our study indicates that species diversity and distribution have significant heterogeneous responses to soil physicochemical properties between A. philoxeroides-invaded and native plant communities. Thus, we need to intensify the monitoring of soil properties in invaded habitats and conduct biotic replacement strategies based on the heterogeneous responses of native and invaded communities to effectively prevent the biotic homogenization that is caused by plant invasions under environmental changes. As the main body that unites farmers internally and connects with markets externally, professional farmer cooperatives are playing an increasingly important role around the world. In order to investigate the significant factors influencing this subject in agricultural socialization services, 487 cooperatives in Heilongjiang Province were selected for investigation. The field survey found that many of the better-developed cooperatives have a certain degree of inadequacy in the performance of their service functions. This paper proposes that viability and government support are important factors influencing the realization of the service function of farmer professional cooperatives. Based on the empirical analysis of sample survey data and econometric models, it was demonstrated that the experience of the chairman, the number of board members, the distribution of members, the scale of land operation, profitability, and the institutional arrangement of the cooperatives are an important embodiment of the viability of the cooperatives. These factors significantly influence the service function of cooperatives in different sections, including pre-production, mid-production, and post-production. Moreover, obtaining external support from the government is necessary for cooperatives at their primary stage of development, especially regarding relevant training, which can facilitate the realization of the service functions of cooperatives in all aspects. Urban areas and green spaces are significant atmospheric carbon sources and sinks. Spatial planning is crucial for improving the urban carbon budget. However, there are many uncertainties due to the diversity and complexity of the effects of urban and green space forms on the carbon budget. As a result, the role of urban areas and green spaces in emission reduction and carbon sink increases remains ambiguous. We use a landscape sustainability framework and systematically review the literature from 2002 to 2022 to elucidate the interaction between urban and green space forms and the carbon budget. We focus on regional and landscape scales. Nine landscape planning indicators affecting urban area carbon emissions, four indicators affecting green space carbon sinks, and three indicators affecting the urban–green space ecotonal relationship and the carbon budget are derived. We analyze the causes of the differences between the studies and discuss the influences of the indicators on emission reduction, carbon sink increases, and sustainable development. We summarize the design and research of urban and green spaces and the urban–green space ecotone and provide suggestions for carbon emission reduction, carbon sink increases, and research directions for future studies. A series of Ag-modified manganese-mullite (SmMn2O5) catalysts with different Ag contents (1, 3, and 6 wt.%) were prepared via a citric acid sol–gel method for catalytic soot oxidation. The catalysts were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), Raman spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy analysis (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and H2 temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR). The soot oxidation activity of the mullite was significantly promoted by the addition of silver and affected by the loading amount of the metal. Herein, the influences of silver loading on the metal size distribution and its interactions with the mullite were studied. Cirrus thinning, as one kind of geoengineering approach, not only cools our planet but also enhances the amount of sunlight reaching the Earth's surface (brightening effect). This study delves into the brightening effect induced by cirrus thinning with a flexible seeding method. The thinning of cirrus clouds alone leads to a considerable globally averaged cooling effect (−2.46 W m−2), along with a notable globally averaged brightening effect (2.19 W m−2). Cirrus thinning also results in substantial reductions in the cloud radiative effects of the lower mixed-phase and liquid clouds. While these reductions counteract the cooling effect from cirrus clouds, they enhance the brightening effect from cirrus clouds. Consequently, the brightening effect caused by cirrus seeding (4.69 W m−2) is considerably stronger than its cooling effect (−1.21 W m−2). Furthermore, due to the more pronounced changes from the mixed-phase and liquid clouds at low and mid-latitudes, the cooling effect is primarily concentrated at high latitudes. In contrast, the brightening effect is stronger over most low- and mid-latitude regions. Overall, cirrus thinning could lead to a notable brightening effect, which can be leveraged to offset the dimming effect (the opposite of the brightening effect) of other geoengineering approaches. Soft-packed ready-to-eat (RTE) shrimp has gradually become popular with consumers due to its portability and deliciousness. However, the browning caused by high-temperature sterilization is a non-negligible disadvantage affecting sensory quality. RTE shrimp is processed through "boiling + vacuum soft packing + high temperature and pressure sterilization". Ultraviolet-visible (UV) spectroscopy with CIELAB color measurement showed that phytic acid (PA) + lactic acid (LA), PA + citric acid (CA), and PA + LA + CA soaking before cooking alleviated browning, as well as UVabsorbance and the browning index (BI). Meanwhile, UV spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy showed that organic acid soaking reduced the content of carbonyl, dityrosine, disulfide bonds, surface hydrophobicity, and protein solubility, but promoted the content of free sulfhydryl and protein aggregation. However, in vitro digestion simulations showed that organic acid soaking unexpectedly inhibited the degree of hydrolysis and protein digestibility. Simple Summary: Breast cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease on the molecular level. The molecular subtype will be altered during metastasis and affect patient outcomes and treatments. Breast cancer is prone to lymph node metastasis. Our study aimed to investigate whether subtype conversion occurs during lymph node metastasis and its underlying mechanism. We confirmed that hormone receptors were down-regulated, while HER2 was up-regulated during lymph node metastasis, and macrophages played a significant role in the process, probably via MNX1. Background: The progression of tumors from less aggressive subtypes to more aggressive states during metastasis poses challenges for treatment strategies. Previous studies have revealed the molecular subtype conversion between primary and metastatic tumors in breast cancer (BC). However, the subtype conversion during lymph node metastasis (LNM) and the underlying mechanism remains unclear. Methods: We compared clinical subtypes in paired primary tumors and positive lymph nodes (PLNs) in BC patients and further validated them in the mouse model. Bioinformatics analysis and macrophage-conditioned medium treatment were performed to investigate the role of macrophages in subtype conversion. Results: During LNM, hormone receptors (HRs) were down-regulated, while HER2 was up-regulated, leading to the transformation of luminal A tumors towards luminal B tumors and from luminal B subtype towards HER2-enriched (HER2-E) subtype. The mouse model demonstrated the elevated levels of HER2 in PLN while retaining luminal characteristics. Among the various cells in the tumor microenvironment (TME), macrophages were the most clinically relevant in terms of prognosis. The treatment of a macrophage-conditioned medium further confirmed the downregulation of HR expression and upregulation of HER2 expression, inducing tamoxifen resistance. Through bioinformatics analysis, MNX1 was identified as a potential transcription factor governing the expression of HR and HER2. Conclusion: Our study revealed the HER2-E subtype conversion during LNM in BC. Macrophages were the crucial cell type in TME, inducing the downregulation of HR and upregulation of HER2, probably via MNX1. In open-channel water transfer projects, hydrodynamic modeling has been one of the tools commonly used by the scheduling staff to perceive the changes in the water condition of the channel. The reliability of the flow monitoring data has not been guaranteed due to restrictions in the flow monitoring method. Flow monitoring errors directly reduce the accuracy of hydrodynamic modeling calculations, making it impossible to accurately grasp the real-time changes in the internal water conditions of the channel. In this paper, by utilizing the characteristics of the hydrodynamic model itself, which can be solved discretely with multiple boundary conditions, the method of correcting the boundary anomaly data is proposed by changing the combination of hydrodynamic boundaries. This solves the problem of the inaccuracy of hydrodynamic model calculations due to errors in the monitoring data and improves the accuracy of the hydrodynamic model calculations. In the actual operation process, it is found that the method proposed in this paper solves the problem of hydrodynamic model misalignment caused by flow observation errors by correcting the flow during the flow adjustment period, which greatly improves the calculation accuracy of the hydrodynamic model. Secondly, for a stable flow period, the method proposed in this paper can quickly capture and correct the local monitoring of abnormal data and improve the overall hydrodynamic simulation accuracy. In the context of global climate change and the water-carbon peak target, improving water security in arid regions is a persistent challenge in global water resources management. Water diversion projects can serve as an important measure to effectively alleviate the uneven distribution of water resources, achieve rational allocation and efficient utilization of water resources. However, how to achieve the maximization of comprehensive benefits during the process of water allocation is also an urgent problem that needs to be solved. This study focuses on the Middle Route Project of the South to North Water Diversion Project in China, selecting four important municipalities and provinces during 2015 to 2021, namely Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei Province, and Henan Province, based on the actual benefits of the water receiving areas of the middle line project. Nine representative indicators related to social, economic, and ecological benefits were selected to evaluate the optimal combination of water resource allocation in the water receiving areas along the central line, in order to achieve the maximum comprehensive benefits and solve the problems of high water safety guarantee requirements and difficult balanced water distribution in urban agglomerations in the water receiving areas. Through the calculation of the Markovsky theoretical model, the results show that when 79.9% of the water conveyance is used to generate social benefits, 15.8% of the water conveyance is used to generate ecological benefits, and 4.5% of the water conveyance is used to generate economic benefits, the project achieves the maximum comprehensive benefits. This computational model method can be used to provide technical support and scientific reference for the optimal allocation of water resources in cross regional water transfer projects. Conversion of the lignocellulosic biomass to bioethanol contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, enhancement of energy security, utilization of waste materials, and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. In this study, we report the effect of combining ball milling followed by liquid hot water (LHW) pretreatment of corn stover to lower the amount of enzyme required while also greatly increasing the recovery of xylose in fermentable form compared to either pretreatment alone. Short-duration ball milling for 60 min reduces the particle size of corn stover to 37.3 μm; however, the glucose only increased to 47% compared to 32% for unpretreated corn stover. In contrast, liquid hot water pretreatment alone can achieve increasing enzyme hydrolysis yields of cellulose from 49% to 93% as the pretreatment severity factor is increased from 3.24 to 4.41. However, the xylose yield decreased to 36% due to the fact that a considerable part of the xylose was degraded into furfural and humins. Surprisingly, the combination of mild ball milling (30 min) followed by mild liquid hot water pretreatment (190 °C, 15 min) could achieve both high glucose (83%) and xylose (72%) yields for a total sugar yield of 79%, theoretically. Thus, combining ball milling with liquid hot water pretreatment allows for milder conditions for both processes that lead to enhanced cellulose conversion without sacrificing xylose to degradation, which hinders enzymatic hydrolysis. An optical fiber sensor for the simultaneous measurement of microdisplacement and temperature based on balloon-shaped single-mode fibers cascaded with a fiber Bragg grating with two core-offset joints is proposed. The interference between the core mode and cladding mode is caused by the stimulation of the cladding mode by the core-offset joints' structure. The cladding of the core has a distinct refractive index, which causes optical path differences and interference. The balloon-shaped structure realizes mode selection by bending. As the displacement increases, the radius of the balloon-shaped interferometer changes, resulting in a change in the interference fringes of the interferometer, while the Bragg wavelength of the fiber grating remains unchanged. Temperature changes will cause the interference fringes of the interferometer and the Bragg wavelength of the fiber grating to shift. The proposed optical fiber sensor allows for the simultaneous measurement of microdisplacement and temperature. The results of the experiment indicate that the sensitivity of the interferometer to microdisplacement is 0.306 nm/µm in the sensing range of 0 to 200 μm and that the temperature sensitivity is 0.165 nm/°C, respectively. The proposed curvature sensor has the advantages of a compact structure, extensive spectrum of dynamic measurement, high sensitivity, and simple preparation, and has a wide range of potential applications in the fields of structural safety monitoring, aviation industry, and resource exploration. Simple Summary: This study intended to understand the variation in egg and clutch mass among coexisting bird species at high altitudes. We investigated several life-history or ecological factors that could explain this variation. The results show that both egg and clutch mass were related to body mass across species. Contrary to the hypothesis of a trade-off between egg mass and clutch size, egg mass variation was not explained by clutch size when accounting for allometric effects. Clutch mass was found to be positively associated with parental care and negatively associated with predation rate. When considering clutch size and egg mass together, clutch size was significantly correlated with parental care, predation rate, and lifespan, while egg mass was only associated with development period. These results support the idea that reduced clutch size or mass is linked to a higher risk of predation, reduced parental care, and longer adult lifespan. Our findings suggest that clutch size has a greater impact on these factors compared to egg mass, possibly because smaller clutches represent a more significant reduction in energetic investment. This study has increased our understanding of how different factors influence the size of eggs and clutches in coexisting high-altitude bird species. The variation in egg and clutch mass in sympatric species at high altitudes is poorly understood, and the potential causes of variation are rarely investigated. This study aimed to describe the interspecific variation in avian egg and clutch mass among 22 sympatric bird species at an altitude of 3430 m. Our objective was to reduce potential confounding effects of biotic/abiotic factors and investigated hypotheses concerning allometry, clutch size, parental care, nest predation, and lifespan as possible correlates and explanations for the observed variation. Our findings indicated that both egg and clutch mass evolve with body mass across species. We found that egg mass variation was not explained by clutch size when controlling for allometric effects, which contrasts the "egg mass vs. clutch size trade-off" hypothesis. Additionally, we found that clutch mass was positively associated with parental care (reflected by development period) but negatively associated with predation rate. By substituting egg mass and clutch size into the models, we found that clutch size was significantly correlated with parental care, predation rate, and lifespan, while egg mass was only significantly associated with development period. Overall, these findings support life-history theories suggesting that reduced clutch size or mass is associated with a higher risk of predation, reduced parental care, but longer adult lifespan. Interestingly, our results indicate that clutch size has a greater influence on these factors compared to egg mass. This could be attributed to the fact that smaller clutch sizes result in a more notable decrease in energetic allocation, as they require a reduced effort in terms of offspring production, incubation, and feeding, as opposed to solely reducing egg size. These findings contribute to the growing evidence that life-history and ecological traits correlate with egg and clutch mass variation in sympatric species. With the overuse and misuse of antimicrobial drugs, antibacterial resistance is becoming a critical global health problem. New antibacterial agents are effective measures for overcoming the crisis of drug resistance. In this paper, a novel set of ciprofloxacin-indole/acetophenone hybrids was designed, synthesized, and structurally elucidated with the help of NMR and high-resolution mass spectrometry. The in vitro antibacterial activities of these hybrids against gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens, including four multidrug-resistant clinical isolates, were evaluated and compared with those of the parent drug ciprofloxacin (CIP). All the target compounds (MIC = 0.0625–32 μg/mL) exhibited excellent inhibitory activity against the strains tested. Among them, 3a (MIC = 0.25–8 μg/mL) showed comparable or slightly less potent activity than CIP. The most active hybrid, 8b (MIC = 0.0626–1 μg/mL), showed equal or higher activity than CIP. Moreover, compound 8b showed superior bactericidal capability to CIP, with undetectably low resistance frequencies. Furthermore, molecular docking studies conducted showed that 8b and CIP had a similar binding mode to DNA gyrase (Staphylocouccus aureus). Climate change has caused a widespread deduction in terrestrial water storage (TWS), leading to ocean water mass gains and sea level rises. A better understanding of how the land–sea water mass has been redistributed can help with the scientific response to climate change. However, there are few studies investigating the roles of the different physical processes involved in low-frequency land–sea water mass redistribution on a global scale. To address this issue, in this study, a comprehensive investigation was carried out with respect to the globally distributed key factors causing low-frequency ocean mass anomalies during the period 2004–2021. Global water mass redistribution data, derived from GRACE/GRACE-FO satellite gravity and surface wind and sea-surface temperature data from ERA5 reanalysis, were employed, and the empirical orthogonal function, maximum covariance analysis, and sea-level equation approaches were used. The results show that the long-term trend and decadal-like fluctuation are two major components of the low-frequency land–sea water mass redistribution. The wind-forcing dynamic processes significantly drive the anomalies near the North Indian Ocean, North Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean, and some marginal seas, where variance explanations range from 30% to 97%. After removing the ocean dynamics, the residual ocean mass anomaly is mostly explained by sea-level fingerprints (SLFs), especially in the open ocean. The 25th, 50th, and 75th percentiles of the SLF-explained variances in all ocean grids are 59%, 72%, and 82%, respectively. Some non-negligible noise, located in seismic zones, was also found, suggesting the misestimation of seafloor deformation resulting from earthquakes in the GRACE/GRACE-FO data processing. A continuous loading experiment of a two-dimensional granular system was carried out and the experimental data were obtained by digital image correlation (DIC). The deformation field of the granular system and the changing laws of the deflection angle and coordination number of the granules on force chains with time were obtained. Based on the granule element method, the quantitative calculation of contact force was realized, and the internal force chains of the granular system were identified. The effects of contact force between granules and mechanical parameters on the evolution of force chains in a two-dimensional granular system under line loads were analyzed. The formation, evolution, and reconstruction of force chains in a granular system during loading, as well as the influence of the force chain network evolution on the macroscopic mechanical properties of granules were discussed. The experimental results indicated that the evolution of force chains was directly related to the number, geometric properties, and permutation distribution of granules in direct contact with the external load. The Split Vehicle Routing Problem with Simultaneous Delivery and Pickup (SVRPSDP) consists of two subproblems, i.e., the Vehicle Routing Problem with Simultaneous Delivery and Pickup (VRPSDP) and the Split Delivery Vehicle Routing Problem (SDVRP). Compared to the subproblems, SVRPSDP is much closer to reality. However, some realistic factors are still ignored in SVRPSDP. For example, the shipments are integrated and cannot be infinitely subdivided. Hence, this paper investigates the Granularity-based Split Vehicle Routing Problem with Simultaneous Delivery and Pickup (GSVRPSDP). The characteristics of GSVRPSDP are that the demands of customers are split into individual shipments and both the volume and weight of each shipment are considered. In order to solve GSVRPSDP efficiently, a Genetic-Simulated hybrid algorithm (GA-SA) is proposed, in which Simulated Annealing (SA) is inserted into the Genetic Algorithm (GA) framework to improve the global search abilities of individuals. The experimental results indicate that GA-SA can achieve lower total costs of routes compared to the traditional meta-algorithms, such as GA, SA and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), with a reduction of more than 10%. In the further analysis, the space utilization and capacity utilization of vehicles are calculated, which achieve 86.1% and 88.9%, respectively. These values are much higher than those achieved by GA (71.2% and 74.8%, respectively) and PSO (60.9% and 65.7%, respectively), further confirming the effectiveness of GA-SA. And the superiority of simultaneous delivery and pickup is proved by comparing with separate delivery and pickup. This study was designed, for the first time, to investigate the effect of oxidation on the digestion and absorption properties of protein in boiled sea cucumber body wall (BSCBW) via simulated digestion combined with everted-rat-gut-sac models. Boiling heat treatments led to protein oxidation in SCBW, manifested by increases in free radical intensity, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, carbonyl groups, disulfide bonds, dityrosine bonds, advanced glycation end products, protein hydrophobicity and aggregation, and declines in both free sulfhydryl groups and secondary structure transition from α-helix to β-sheet. Boiling for 2 h caused anti-digestion collagen unfolding, provided the action site for protease and improved protein digestion and absorption levels. On the contrary, excessive oxidative modification of 4 h BSCBW resulted in decreased protein digestion and absorption levels. From the perspective of texture, digestion and absorption properties, boiling for 2 h can obtain sea cucumber products with better edible and digestible properties, which is considered to be a better processing condition. While urban green spaces (UGSs) are important places for residents' leisure activities, studies describing the long-term daily UGS usage of residents (including the total number of activities, the types of activities, and the touring experience) have not been conducted due to difficulties in data collection. Based on social media text data (SMTD), in this study, the total number of daily activities, the intensities of optional and social activities, and the daily touring experience in 100 UGSs in Xiamen, China, were inferred based on the ERNIE 3.0 text pre-training semantic classification model. Based on this, linear regression modeling was applied to analyze the internal environmental factors of the effects of places and external urban form factors regarding daily UGS usage. The research results revealed the following. (1) A descriptive study was conducted on the total numbers, types, and touring experience of activities using SMTD, and the results were verified by line transect surveys, management statistics, and a publicly available dataset. Remaining Useful Life (RUL) prediction is an important component of failure prediction and health management (PHM). Current life prediction studies require large amounts of tagged training data assuming that the training data and the test data follow a similar distribution. However, the RUL-prediction data of the planetary gearbox, which works in different conditions, will lead to statistical differences in the data distribution. In addition, the RUL-prediction accuracy will be affected seriously. In this paper, a planetary transmission test system was built, and the domain adaptive model was used to Implement the transfer learning (TL) between the planetary transmission system in different working conditions. LSTM-DNN network was used in the data feature extraction and regression analysis. Finally, a domain-adaptive LSTM-DNN-based method for remaining useful life prediction of Planetary Transmission was proposed. The experimental results show that not only the impact of different operating conditions on statistical data was reduced effectively, but also the efficiency and accuracy of RUL prediction improved. Although the literature has shown that generalized reciprocity and negative reciprocity as exchange norms can significantly influence employees' outcomes, knowledge about how and when the two types of norms influence employees' well-being is limited. Based on social exchange theory and self-determination theory, we built and investigated a model by conducting a large questionnaire survey with 551 employees and managers. The results of the structural equation model supported our hypotheses. First, generalized reciprocity is positively related to well-being, and negative reciprocity is negatively related to well-being. Both intrinsic motivation and perceived organizational obstruction can meditate roles in the above relationships. Moreover, strength use can enhance the relationship between generalized reciprocity and intrinsic motivation, and it can also weaken the relationship between negative reciprocity and perceived organizational obstruction. Our research represents a significant step towards better understanding the work-related implications of imbalanced reciprocity, highlighting the destructive influence of negative reciprocity on employees' well-being. Objective: An optimized quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe (QuEChERS) technique was investigated and compared with the conventional QuEChERS technique for the simultaneous analysis of fifty-three pesticide residues in safflower using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS). Method: Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) consisting of a major amount of carbon and nitrogen with a large surface area was used as a QuEChERS adsorbent instead of graphitized carbon black (GCB) for safflower extraction purification. Validation experiments were performed using spiked pesticide samples, and real samples were analyzed. Results: The linearity of the modified QuEChERS technique was evaluated with high coefficients of determination (R-2) being higher than 0.99. The limits of detection were <10 μg/kg. The spiked recoveries ranged from 70.4% to 97.6% with a relative standard deviation of less than 10.0%. The fifty-three pesticides exhibited negligible matrix effects (<20%). Thiamethoxam, acetamiprid, metolachlor, and difenoconazole were detected in real samples using an established method. Neuromorphic photonics devices based on phase change materials (PCMs) and silicon photonics technology have emerged as promising solutions for addressing the limitations of traditional spiking neural networks in terms of scalability, response delay, and energy consumption. In this review, we provide a comprehensive analysis of various PCMs used in neuromorphic devices, comparing their optical properties and discussing their applications. We explore materials such as GST (Ge2Sb2Te5), GeTe-Sb2Te3, GSST (Ge2Sb2Se4Te1), Sb2S3/Sb2Se3, Sc0.2Sb2Te3 (SST), and In2Se3, highlighting their advantages and challenges in terms of erasure power consumption, response rate, material lifetime, and on-chip insertion loss. By investigating the integration of different PCMs with silicon-based optoelectronics, this review aims to identify potential breakthroughs in computational performance and scalability of photonic spiking neural networks. Further research and development are essential to optimize these materials and overcome their limitations, paving the way for more efficient and high-performance photonic neuromorphic devices in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing applications. Friction Pendulum Bearing (FPB for short) is a kind of widely used device to improve seismic capacities of building and bridge structures. Despite the considerable progress made in developing theoretical models to understand the mechanical behaviour of FPB, these models mostly focus on the horizontal movement behaviour and rarely on the rotational behaviour of FPB. However, rotational displacements of FPBs indeed will occur along with horizontal displacements in earthquakes and may affect the structural seismic performance. Motivated from these findings, a theoretical model of FPB that describes the rotational behaviour is established based on the moment balance theory in this paper. A set of rotational tests are carried out to validate the theoretical model, and comparisons of experimental and theoretical results show that they are in good agreement. Cervical cancer causes malignant tumors in females and threatens the physical and mental health of women. Current research shows that persistent infection of high-risk HPV is the main cause of cervical cancer. However, not all cervical cancer is caused by HPV infection, which may also be related to other factors, such as nutritional status and lifestyle. This study focuses on the effect of alcohol consumption on the methylation status of cervical cancer from the perspective of methyl donors. We established a mouse tumor-bearing model with cervical cancer SiHa cells, and at the same time, we cultured SiHa cells in vitro. Different concentrations of ethanol were administered to the model mice and SiHa cells. Then, we detected the levels of the methyl-donor folate and methionine and their metabolite homocysteine levels in mice serum, tumor tissues, and SiHa cells. Furthermore, we determined the expression of the members of the DNA methyltransferase family (DNMT1, DNMT3a, and DNMT3b) in tumor tissue by immunohistochemistry. qRT-PCR and Western blotting analysis were used to detect the mRNA and protein levels of members of the DNA methyltransferase family in cervical cancer SiHa cells. Our results show that the levels of the methyl donor (folate and methionine) decreased with the increase of ethanol concentration (p < 0.05), and the homocysteine level increased significantly (p < 0.05). In SiHa cells, the mRNA and protein levels of the DNMT family members and their receptors were significantly higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05). Collectively, these results suggest that ethanol could influence DNMT expression by inducing methyl donor consumption, thereby causing cervical cancer cells to exhibit genome-wide hypomethylation. A reliable inspection of the tree trunk internal defects is often considered vital in the health condition assessment for the living tree. There has been a desire to reconstruct the internal structure quantitatively using a non-destructive testing technology. This paper intends to apply wavefield reconstruction inversion (WRI) to obtain high-precision information from tree trunk detection using ground penetrating radar data. The variational projection method and the grouped multi-frequency strategy are adopted to strengthen the algorithm stability and adaptability by inverting frequency components sequentially. Through an irregular trunk model test, the influence of the penalty parameter, initial model, frequency strategy, and grid generation methods are investigated on WRI. Additionally, the comparison between full waveform inversion and WRI is discussed in detail. This synthetic case indicates that WRI is efficient and for a reasonable result, a proper multi-frequency strategy and an accurate mesh closer to reality are important. Furthermore, a field case of a historical tree is used to prove the validity and reliability of the algorithm. The success in this case indicates that our algorithm can characterize the distribution of media parameters of tree trunks accurately, which could provide data support for the rejuvenation and maintenance of living trees. The deepening of color of ready-to-eat (RTE) abalone during storage leads to sensory quality degradation, which seriously affects the shelf life of products and consumers' purchasing desire. The goal of this study is to look into the causes of non-enzymatic browning and lipid oxidation, as well as how to control them, and their effect on the color of RTE abalone during storage. The control, bloodletting and antioxidants groups (lactic acid, citric acid and 4-hexylresorcinol) of RTE abalone were stored for 0, 20 and 40 days at 40 °C, respectively, to explore the rule and mechanism of the color change in RTE abalone. This research shows that RTE abalone undergoes browning during storage. Meanwhile, the content of reducing sugar, phenols and unsaturated fatty acids decreases, while the formation of lipid hydroperoxides and aldehydes increases during storage. In addition, the color change in RTE abalone during storage is mainly related to the Maillard reaction, while the lipid oxidation mainly forms pyrrole and participates in the Strecker degradation process as part of the Maillard reaction. The quality of RTE abalone can be maintained by controlling browning effectively as well as lipid oxidation through bloodletting and the addition of antioxidants to ensure that RTE abalone has high storage stability. Research in the field of project management has focused on recycling construction and demolition waste (CDW). However, the problem of how to compensate for the performance of CDW recycling public–private partnership (PPP) projects during the operation period has not been resolved. This paper aims to reveal the compensation mechanism during the operation period of CDW recycling PPP projects considering the two-stage performance of recycling and remanufacturing. This paper takes CDW recycling PPP projects as the research object and uses the Stackelberg game and principal-agent theory to establish and solve the master-slave game decision model of CDW recycling PPP projects. The main conclusions are as follows. When social welfare is maximized, the performance compensation coefficients in the recycling and remanufacturing stages are the same and have homogeneity. In addition, the compensation policy positively promotes the two-stage performance, social capital profit and social welfare of the recycling and remanufacturing of CDW recycling PPP projects. This paper not only broadens the application knowledge system of the relevant knowledge of project management in the field of CDW recycling but also provides new evidence for principal-agent theory from the operation stage of CDW recycling PPP projects. Plant glutathione peroxidases (GPXs) are the main enzymes in the antioxidant defense system that sustain H2O2 homeostasis and normalize plant reaction to abiotic stress conditions. However, the genome-wide identification of the GPX gene family and its responses to environmental stresses, especially salt stress, in Nitraria sibirica, which is a shrub that can survive in saline environments, has not yet been reported. Here, we first report the genome-wide analysis of the GPX gene family in N. sibirica, leading to a total of seven NsGPX genes that are distributed on six of the twelve chromosomes. Phylogenetic analysis showed that NsGPX genes were grouped into four major groups (Group I-IV). Three types of cis-acting elements were identified in the NsGPX promoters, mainly related to hormones and stress response. The quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis indicated that NsGPX1 and NsGPX3 were significantly up-regulated in stem and leaf, while NsGPX7 transcriptionally in root in response to salt stress. The current study identified a total seven NsGPX genes in N. sibirica via genome-wide analysis, and discovered that NsGPXs may play an important role in response to salt stress. Taken together, our findings provide a basis for further functional studies of NsGPX genes, especially in regarding to the resistance to salt stress of this halophyte plant N. sibirica, eventually aid in the discovery of new methods to restore overtly saline soil. Metal–support interaction (MSI) is considered a key effect of electronic and geometric structures of catalysts on tuning catalytic performance. The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is a crucial process during energy conversion and storage. However, the OER process requires the help of noble metal catalysts to reduce the reaction overpotential, enhance reactivity with intermediates, and maintain good operating stability. Carbon–supported metal catalysts have been considered candidates for noble metal catalysts for OER. MSI occurs at the interface of carbon supports and metals, affecting the catalytic performance through electronic and geometric modulation. MSI can influence the catalytic performance and change reaction pathways from charge redistribution, electron transfer, chemical coordination and bonding, and steric effect. Connecting MSI effects with the OER mechanism can provide theoretical guidance and a practical approach to the design of efficient catalysts, including the modulation of particle size, morphology, heteroatom doping, defect engineering, and coordination atom and number. To improve household air quality, the Chinese government has launched a number of pilot stove renovation projects, but few studies have explored the impact of the project on people's perception of and willingness to participate in these renovations; moreover, factors affecting willingness to pay for the project in rural China are not yet clear. We conducted a field measurement and a corresponding door-to-door questionnaire survey using the renovated group and the unrenovated group. The results showed that (1) the stove renovation project could not only reduce PM2.5 exposure and the excess mortality risk of rural residents, but also (2) improve residents' risk perception and self-protective willingness. (3) Specifically, the project had a deeper impact on female and low-income residents. (4) Meanwhile, the higher the income and the larger family size, the higher the risk perception and self-protective willingness. (5) Furthermore, willingness to pay for the project was related with residents' support for the project, benefit from renovation, income, and family size. In this paper, the influence of calcium on coal gangue and fly ash geopolymer is explored, and the problem of low utilization of unburned coal gangue is analyzed and solved. The experiment took uncalcined coal gangue and fly ash as raw materials, and a regression model was developed with the response surface methodology. The independent variables were the CG content, alkali activator concentration, and Ca(OH)2 to NaOH ratio (CH/SH). The response target value was the coal gangue and fly-ash geopolymer compressive strength. The compressive strength tests and the regression model obtained by the response surface methodology showed that the coal gangue and fly ash geopolymer prepared with the content of uncalcined coal gangue is 30%, alkali activator content of 15%, and the value of CH/SH is 1.727 had a dense structure and better performance. The microscopic results demonstrated that the uncalcined coal gangue structure is destroyed under an alkali activator's action, and a dense microstructure is formed based on C(N)-A-S-H and C-S-H gel, which provides a reasonable basis for the preparation of geopolymers from the uncalcined coal gangue. High concentrations of contaminants such as ammonia nitrogen and organic matter in full-strength wastewater severely inhibit the growth of microalgae, contributing to lower biomass accumulation and contaminant removal efficiency. To overcome this limitation, modified biochars prepared from pine sawdust and sugarcane bagasse were used in this study as an adsorbent–desorbent for the pretreatment of wastewater to promote the growth of microalgae. The results showed that the two modification methods (acid/alkaline modification and magnesium salt modification) used in the experiment could increase the abundance of oxygen-containing functional groups. Moreover, magnesium salt modification could effectively improve the pore structure of biochar surfaces and increase the specific surface areas. Compared with the pristine biochars, the adsorption performance of the modified biochar was found to be significantly higher for nutrients in wastewater. The adsorption capacity of the acid/alkaline-modified pine sawdust biochar reached 8.5 and 16.49 mg∙g−1 for ammonia nitrogen and total organic carbon in wastewater, respectively. The magnesium salt modified pine sawdust biochar achieved a more comprehensive nutrients adsorption capacity of 15.68, 14.39, and 3.68 mg∙L−1 for ammonia nitrogen, total organic carbon, and total phosphorus, respectively. The mechanism of ammonia nitrogen adsorption was mainly the complexation of surface -OH functional groups, while the adsorption mechanism for phosphate was mainly the complexation of -OH and Mg-O functional groups and the chemical precipitation of MgO or Mg(OH)2 attached to the surface. In this paper, an experiment is carried out to acquire the dynamic mechanical properties of a simulated sandstone tunnel by a dual DIC system. The sandstone tunnel is simulated by large sandstone with a prefabricated hole in the center. The speckle size required by DIC system was evaluated, and the results showed that for large specimens a marker pen could be used to spot speckles and make sure that the diameters of speckle points in an image should be ranged from three to five pixels. The dual DIC system is composed of a low-speed camera and a high-speed camera. The low-speed camera is used to record the speckle patterns of the sandstone in one side during the whole process of compression load, and the high-speed camera is placed in the other side to record speckle patterns for 11.5 seconds before and after failure. It is realized that monitoring whole process of deformation and instantaneous failure in two directions is required. Measurement results are effectively analyzed. The results are shown as follows: At the initial stage of loading the sandstone is in an elastic stage without macroscopic cracks. With the increase in compression load the sandstone has several small stress releases and several obvious macroscopic cracks. In the final stage of loading, the distribution of normal stress and shear stress are almost the same, and cracks are subjected to the coupling effect of normal stress and shear stress. The two ends of the prefabricated hole perpendicular to the applied load direction are prone to cracks parallel to the applied load direction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The spatial distribution and temporal variation of land surface sensible heat (SH) flux on the Tibetan Plateau (TP) for the period of 1981–2018 were studied using the simulation results from the Noah-MP land surface model. The simulated SH fluxes were also compared with the simulation results from the SEBS model and the results derived from 80 meteorological stations. It is found that, much larger annual mean SH fluxes occurred on the western and central TP compared with the eastern TP. Meanwhile, the inter-annual variations of SH fluxes on the central and western TP were larger than that on the eastern TP. The SEBS simulation showed much larger inter-annual variations than did the Noah-MP simulation across most of the TP. There was a trend of decrease in SH flux from the mid-1980s to the beginning of the 21st century in the Noah-MP simulations. Both Noah-MP and SEBS showed an increasing SH flux trend after this period of decrease. The increasing trend appeared on the eastern TP later than on the western and central TP. In the Noah-MP simulation, the western and central TP showed larger values of temperature difference between the ground surface and air (Ts–Ta) than did the eastern TP. Both mean Ts–Ta and wind speed decreased from the mid-1980s to approximately 2000, and then increased slightly. However, the Ts–Ta transition occurred later than that of wind speed. Changes in mean ground surface temperature (Ts) were the main cause of the decreasing and increasing trends in SH flux on the TP. Lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) have the potential to improve recalcitrant polysaccharide hydrolysis by the oxidizing cleavage of glycosidic bond. Streptomyces species are major chitin decomposers in soil ecological environments and encode multiple lpmo genes. In this study, we demonstrated that transcription of the lpmo gene, Sclpmo10G, in the Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2) (ScA3(2)) strain is strongly induced by chitin. The ScLPMO10G protein was further expressed in Escherichia coli and characterized in vitro. The ScLPMO10G protein showed oxidation activity towards chitin. Chitinase synergy experiments demonstrated that the addition of ScLPMO10G resulted in a substantial in vitro increase in the reducing sugar levels. Moreover, in vivo the LPMO-overexpressing strain ScΔLPMO10G(+) showed stronger chitin-degrading ability than the wild-type, leading to a 2.97-fold increase in reducing sugar level following chitin degradation. The total chitinase activity of ScΔLPMO10G(+) was 1.5-fold higher than that of ScA3(2). Biomacromolecules have been employed successfully as fluorescence anisotropy (FA) amplifiers for biosensing in reported studies. However, the sensitivities of the traditional biomacromolecule amplified FA strategies need to be improved because of the relatively low molecular weight or volume of a single biomacromolecule and the 1:1 binding ratio between the fluorophore-linked probe and target. In this work, a DNA dendrimer with a high molecular weight and volume was employed as a new FA amplifier, which was coupled with target-catalyzed hairpin assembly (CHA) for the sensitive detection of miRNA-21. The fluorophore-modified probe DNA (pDNA) was fixed on the DNA dendrimer, resulting in a high FA value. The addition of miRNA-21 triggered the CHA process and produced plenty of H1-H2 hybrids. The complex of H1-H2 bound to the DNA dendrimer and released the pDNA through a toehold-mediated strand exchange reaction. Thus, a low FA value was obtained because of the low mass and volume of free pDNA. Based on the dramatically reduced FA, miRNA-21 was detected in the range of 1.0–19.0 nM and the limit of detection was 52.0 pM. In addition, our method has been successfully utilized for miRNA-21 detection in human serum. Group B Streptococcus (GBS) or Streptococcus agalactiae is a major cause of neonatal mortality. When colonizing the lower genital tract of pregnant women, GBS may cause premature birth and stillbirth. If transmitted to the newborn, it may result in life-threatening illnesses, including sepsis, meningitis, and pneumonia. Moreover, through continuous evolution, GBS can use its original structure and unique factors to greatly improve its survival rate in the human body. This review discusses the key virulence factors that facilitate GBS invasion and colonization and their action mechanisms. A comprehensive understanding of the role of virulence factors in GBS infection is crucial to develop better treatment options and screen potential candidate molecules for the development of the vaccine. In the theory of cosmology, de Sitter space is the symmetrical model of accelerated expansions of the universe. It is derived from the solution of the Einstein field equation, which has a positive cosmological constant. In this paper, we define the evolutes and focal surfaces of timelike Sabban curves in de Sitter space. We find that de Sitter focal surfaces can be regarded as caustics and de Sitter evolutes corresponding to the locus of the polar vectors of osculating de Sitter subspaces. By using singularity theory, we classify the singularities of the de Sitter focal surfaces and de Sitter evolutes and show that there is a close relationship between a new geometric invariant and the types of singularities. Moreover, the Legendrian dual relationships between the hyperbolic tangent indicatrix of timelike Sabban curves and the focal surfaces are given. Nitraria sibirica is a shrub that can survive in extreme drought environments. The auxin-response factors (ARFs) are a class of transcription factors that are widely involved in plant growth and development, as well as in the regulation of stress resistance. However, the genome-wide identification of the ARF gene family and its responses to environmental stresses, especially drought stress, in N. sibirica has not yet been reported. Here, we identified a total of 12 ARF genes in the genome of N. sibirica, which were distributed over 10 chromosomes and divided into three clades. Intragenome synteny analysis revealed one collinear gene pair in the ARF gene family, i.e., NsARF9a and NsARF9b. Cis-acting element analysis showed that multiple hormones and stress-responsive cis-acting elements were found in the promoters of NsARFs, suggesting that NsARFs may be involved in multiple biological processes. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) showed that many NsARFs had tissue-specific expression patterns, with the highest expression of NsARF16 in the seedlings of N. sibirica. In addition, most of the NsARFs that were upregulated under drought were independent of endogenous ABA biosynthesis, whereas the response of NsARF5 and NsARF7a to drought was disrupted by the ABA-biosynthesis inhibitor fluridone. Simple Summary: Corn stover pellets are of poor quality (regarding physical and mechanical properties), and wet soybean dregs are viscous, which may improve the pelleting process. Furthermore, the soybean dregs have high nutritional value, which may increase the quality of feed. The relaxed density, dimensional stability coefficient and hardness of feed pellets were measured and analyzed in this study to clarify the influence mechanism of wet-fermented soybean dregs on the pelleting of corn stover. The results showed that fermented soybean dregs had a significant effect on corn stover pelleting. The comprehensive analysis showed that the addition of 5–10% fermented soybean dregs to corn stover improved the relaxed density, dimensional stability coefficient, and hardness of feed pellets by 10.76–23.51%, 7.32–15.74%, and 33.39–454.47%, respectively. The results could provide guidance on the research and development of high-quality forming technology and instruments using the mixture of corn stover and fermented soybean dregs and offer a new route for the utilization of high-moisture materials. Pelleting experiments were carried out in this study to clarify the influence mechanism of wet-fermented soybean dregs on the forming of corn stover. The effects of addition of water or wet fermented soybean dregs on the forming quality of corn stover were comparatively studied under different corn stover particle sizes and compression displacement. The fermented soybean dregs significantly affected the relaxed density, dimensional stability coefficient, and hardness of feed pellets. The relaxed density, dimensional stability coefficient, and hardness of feed pellets increased first and then decreased with the increase of fermented soybean dregs. The forming quality of corn stover added with fermented soybean dregs was higher than that of corn stover added with the same amount of water. The mechanism allowed soybean dregs to strengthen the bonding between corn stover particles and thus improved the quality of feed pellets. A certain amount of water was favorable for corn stover pelleting, but excessive water may decrease the quality of pellets. The comprehensive analysis showed that the addition of 5–10% fermented soybean dregs to the corn stover improved the relaxed density, dimensional stability coefficient, and hardness of feed pellets by 10.76–23.51%, 7.32–15.74%, and 33.39–454.47%, respectively. Simple Summary: The black-necked crane is the only crane species that breeds on the Qinghai–Tibetan plateau, and habitat destruction and loss are the major threats to it. The Shaluli Mountains, located in a biological hotspot, is an important breeding site for the central population of the black-necked crane, but its population size and distribution, as well as shifts in distribution under climatic change, remain unknown. Therefore, we conducted a field survey and modeled the breeding black-necked crane habitat with a species distribution model in the region. The results showed that the number of breeding black-necked cranes in the area was about 200, and they were mainly distributed in a gentle meadow and wetland along the lake. Climate change will increase the potentially suitable habitat area, with a trend of northwestward expansion and upward migration, as well as an increase in habitat suitability and connectivity. In addition, more conservation gaps will arise, but the conservation role of existing protected areas will not decline. Therefore, we suggest strengthening the long-term monitoring of black-necked cranes and wetland resources in this area. Climate change is affecting biodiversity by altering the geographical distribution range of species, and this effect is amplified in climate-sensitive areas. Studying the geographic distribution of flagship species in response to climate change is important for the long-term conservation of species and the maintenance of regional biodiversity. Therefore, we collected field survey records from 2016 to 2020 and conducted field surveys of black-necked cranes in the Shaluli Mountains (SLLMs) in May–June and August–October 2021; 103 breeding records were acquired totally, and the geographical distribution range under the current and four future climate scenarios was modeled with the MaxEnt model to predict the impact of climate change on its distribution and habitat quality. The results showed that 152 black-necked cranes were surveyed in seven counties of SLLMs in total; the estimated number of black-necked cranes in the entire SLLMs was about 200. The currently suitable habitat area is 27,122 km2, mainly distributed in gentle meadows and wetland habitats along the lake where the Annual Mean Temperature is −1 °C and the Mean Diurnal Range (16 °C) and Precipitation Seasonality (105) are comparatively large. Furthermore, the breeding range would expand to varying degrees under future climate scenarios and showed a migration trend toward the northwest and higher elevation. Besides, as time goes by, the habitat for black-necked cranes in SLLMs would become more homogeneous and more suitable. The conservation effectiveness of the existing reserve network would keep stable with climate change, although there are large conservation gaps between protected areas, and these gaps will gradually expand over time. Overall, this study provides a preliminary understanding of the population and distribution and predicts the future distribution of black-necked cranes in the SLLMs. It also demonstrates the importance of SLLMs for protecting the central population of black-necked cranes and maintaining regional biodiversity. Sucrose isomerase (SIase) catalyzes the hydrolysis and isomerization of sucrose into isomaltulose, which is an important functional sugar widely used in the food industry. However, the lack of safe and efficient expression systems for recombinant SIase has impeded its production and application. In this study, enhanced expression of a SIase from Klebsiella sp. LX3 (referred to as KsLX3-SIase) was achieved in Bacillus subtilis WB800N, by optimizing the signal peptides. First, 13 candidate signal peptides were selected using a semi-rational approach, and their effects on KsLX3-SIase secretion were compared. The signal peptide WapA was most efficient in directing the secretion of KsLX3-SIase into the culture medium, producing a specific activity of 23.0 U/mL, as demonstrated by shake flask culture. Using a fed-batch strategy, the activity of KsLX3-SIase in the culture medium was increased to 125.0 U/mL in a 5-L fermentor. Finally, the expressed KsLX3-SIase was purified and was found to have maximum activity at 45 °C and pH 5.5. Its Km for sucrose was 267.6 ± 18.6 mmol/L, and its kcat/Km was 10.1 ± 0.2 s−1mM−1. These findings demonstrated an efficient expression of SIase in B. subtilis, and this is thought to be the highest level of SIase produced in a food-grade bacteria to date. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To explore the drying characteristics of soybean dregs and a nondestructive moisture content test method, in this study, soybean dregs were dried with hot air (80 °C), the moisture content was measured using the drying method, water status was analyzed using low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR) and the moisture content prediction models were built and validated. The results revealed that the moisture contents of the soybean dregs were 0.57 and 0.01 g/g(w.b.), respectively, after drying for 5 and 7 h. The effective moisture diffusivity increased with the decrease in moisture content; it ranged from 5.27 × 10−9 to 6.96 × 10−8 m2·s−1. Soybean dregs contained bound water (T21), immobilized water (T22) and free water (T23 and T23'). With the proceeding of drying, all of the relaxation peaks shifted left until a new peak (T23') appeared; then, the structure of soybean dregs changed, and the relaxation peaks reformed, and the peak shifted left again. The peak area may predict the moisture content of soybean dregs, and the gray values of images predict the moisture contents mainly composed of free water or immobilized water. CRISPR/Cas9-based cytosine base editors (CBEs) and adenine base editors (ABEs) can efficiently mediate C-to-T/G-to-A and A-to-G/T-to-C substitutions, respectively; however, achieving base transversions (C-to-G/C-to-A and A-to-T/A-to-C) is challenging and has been rarely studied in plants. Here, we constructed new plant C-to-G base editors (CGBEs) and new A-to-Y (T/C) base editors and explored their base editing characteristics in rice. First, we fused the highly active cytidine deaminase evoFENRY and the PAM-relaxed Cas9-nickase variant Cas9n-NG with rice and human uracil DNA N-glycosylase (rUNG and hUNG), respectively, to construct CGBE-rUNG and CGBE-hUNG vector tools. The analysis of five NG-PAM target sites showed that these CGBEs achieved C-to-G conversions with monoallelic editing efficiencies of up to 27.3% in T0 rice, with major byproducts being insertion/deletion mutations. Moreover, for the A-to-Y (C or T) editing test, we fused the highly active adenosine deaminase TadA8e and the Cas9-nickase variant SpGn (with NG-PAM) with Escherichia coli endonuclease V (EndoV) and human alkyladenine DNA glycosylase (hAAG), respectively, to generate ABE8e-EndoV and ABE8e-hAAG vectors. An assessment of five NG-PAM target sites showed that these two vectors could efficiently produce A-to-G substitutions in a narrow editing window; however, no A-to-Y editing was detected. Interestingly, the ABE8e-EndoV also generated precise small fragment deletions in the editing window from the 5′-deaminated A base to the SpGn cleavage site, suggesting its potential value in producing predictable small-fragment deletion mutations. Overall, we objectively evaluated the editing performance of CGBEs in rice, explored the possibility of A-to-Y editing, and developed a new ABE8e-EndoV tool, thus providing a valuable reference for improving and enriching base editing tools in plants. Shading facilities are important technology to enable the adjustment of the indoor light and heat environment, and the control logic of the technology relies on data collected by sensors. The sensor position is generally arranged on the work surface, which is only suitable for single rooms with fixed locations. For open-plan offices or other large offices, more study of detailed designs for the sensor position is required. Therefore, various sensor locations for different spaces will be investigated. Based on existing research, the UDI2000 lux [50%] and UDI450–2000 lux [50%] are the key indices for measuring sensor location. The Entropy Weight method is used to determine the weight of each index, and the ideal point method (TOPSIS method) is used to select the best sensor location. Essentially, the solution to an attribute reduction problem can be viewed as a reduct searching process. Currently, among various searching strategies, meta-heuristic searching has received extensive attention. As a new emerging meta-heuristic approach, the forest optimization algorithm (FOA) is introduced to the problem solving of attribute reduction in this study. To further improve the classification performance of selected attributes in reduct, an ensemble framework is also developed: firstly, multiple reducts are obtained by FOA and data perturbation, and the structure of those multiple reducts is symmetrical, which indicates that no order exists among those reducts; secondly, multiple reducts are used to execute voting classification over testing samples. Finally, comprehensive experiments on over 20 UCI datasets clearly validated the effectiveness of our framework: it is not only beneficial to output reducts with superior classification accuracies and classification stabilities but also suitable for data pre-processing with noise. To conduct a comfortable lift for the care-receiver, it takes a lot of time and operations to design the motion trajectory for each care-receiver before transfer tasks. To solve this problem, this paper proposed a method to design a lift trajectory for a piggyback transfer robot. The robot, which can lift and move a person from a wheelchair to a bed or a pedestal pan, has been developed. The trajectory obtained by this method could make the robot conduct a comfort lift for the care-receiver, according to the weight and height of the care-receiver. A human-robot mechanics model and the relationship between the comfortable lift trajectory and the care-receiver's weight and height were also contributed. According to the test results of 20 subjects, the force parameters used for trajectory design were determined, and the trajectory design method was optimized. The results of three subjects demonstrated that this method could conveniently and quickly provide a robot lift trajectory based on the subject's weight and height, and this trajectory also achieved a similar lift as the trajectory designed by relying on the opinion of the subject. This method can be used for the design of the reference trajectory in the compliant control of the piggyback robot, which realizes the comfortable lifting of the care-receiver. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
