Crowdfunding is an alternative paradigm for project financing, in which a broad and scattered audience can engage by making relatively small contributions of money. The most common method is to use online platforms that serve as a link between the crowd and the initiatives. The study aims to review the most cited papers on crowdfunding, applying the total citations as the measure of outcome. Scopus database was used to perform citation analysis and select papers. These papers were then filtered for document type and source type with the language of publication being English. This left 1,847 papers, which were adjusted in the descending order of their citations. Only papers published in ABDC-indexed journals were considered. Thus, the top 50 papers were selected. The number of citations ranged from 2,434 to 132 in descending order for the period 2013 to 2020. By highlighting the key features of the top 50 crowdfunding papers cited, the present study seeks to disseminate knowledge that could help researchers recognize key themes, research features, and gaps in existing research. This paper discusses the decision support system for the chipping unit of a paper plant. The chipping unit consists of six subsystems arranged in series and parallel configurations. The decision support system for the chipping unit was developed with the help of a mathematical formulation based on Markov Birth-Death process using a probabilistic approach. For this purpose, first differential equations were generated. These equations were then solved using normalizing condition so as to determine the steady-state availability of the chipping unit. After that, decision matrices were developed which provide various availability levels for different combinations of failure and repair rates for all subsystems. The model developed helps in the operations and quantitative management of various maintenance decisions and actions. Among the large varieties of waste papers available in market, some waste papers do not easily disintegrate in water, while others are repulped in water by maintaining a temperature of 40-50°C in paper pulping machine. Waste papers such as toweling tissue, napkins, crepe tissues have 10-15% wet strength. Chemicals are required for destroying the wet strength of papers. Some papers have wet strength of more than 30% due to which they do not slush in water easily. Such papers can be slushed by adding sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide combination. It has been observed that polyethylene glycol helps in breaking wet strength in paper easily (wet strength: 30-35%) as compared to other chemicals. The combination of sodium hydroxide and polyethylene glycol gave the best results for the destruction of wet strength in paper, whereas use of potassium monopersulphate gave low results. Experiments have shown that the waste paper (high wet strength) can be recycled with the help of polyethylene glycol in alkaline conditions. It has also been found that the wetting agents do not give best result with high wet strength paper and the use of hydrogen peroxide with less percentage of wet strength slushes waste paper easily. This paper aims to discuss the risk-based policies, procedures, and controls reasonably designed to identify and minimize money laundering and other illicit financing risks associated with Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs). This paper uses the "Pandora Papers" to illustrate the vulnerability of the banking system to money laundering and other illicit financing risks associated with NPOs, and to solidify the hypothesis that effective implementation of risk-based policies, procedures, and controls can help flag illicit funds before a lengthy asset recovery process becomes necessary. This paper presents English YouTube Stories and Google Forms as an assessment tool to evaluate vocabulary using storytelling techniques, and examines its advantages in the English classroom. The paper explores the current use of Google Forms as an online vocabulary evaluation in English instruction and compares control and experimental group student scores to fill in the gaps that are currently present. A sample of 40 low socioeconomic tertiary level female students (in the age group of 18 to 20 years) with low proficiency in English from Telangana, India, participated in the study. They were all multilingual and multicultural students. The control group, which consisted of 20 students, received no experimental treatment, while the experimental group, which also had 20 students, was given 10 YouTube stories to watch and read the text. The scores for vocabulary knowledge for each story in the form of an assessment were recorded for both groups using Google Forms and compared. The results reveal that YouTube Stories enhance vocabulary development, and Google Forms serve as an ESL assessment tool, which has many advantages like timesaving for teachers, convenience, cost reduction, automatic and accurate score generation and reduced paper waste. Input Tax Credit (ITC) is one of the essential features of GST, as it eliminates the cascading effect of taxation. However, in recent times, fraudulent activities to dupe government authorities through tax evasion are rising rapidly. Issuing invoices without the concomitant supply of goods or services is one of the most dangerous and widely used methods to tweak the provisions of GST laws and avail undue or fake Input Tax Credit. This paper aims to analyze the workings and motives behind such invoices. Most importantly, this paper focuses on the current contentious legal issues arising out of post-detection steps taken by the departmental authorities, wherein even a bona fide taxpayer may face actions due to the fault of another party in the transaction. The contentious issues discussed in the present paper are: difficulty in getting bail, denial or reversal of Input Tax Credit, cancellation of GST registration, and attachment of property. Green financing is able to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and support long-term economic growth. The paper presents a systematic literature review, evaluating the research on green finance and sustainability from 2005 to 2023. To perform this review, PRISMA technique was followed. A total of 51 papers selected from Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus were reviewed, and the results show that China is a global pioneer in this area, and research on this concept has been gaining momentum. Rapid industrialization has led to the discharge of industrial effluents into sewage, resulting in water pollution which leads to water crisis in India and all over the world. Disposal of industrial and urban wastes into soil and water bodies has led to disastrous consequences to the ecosystems. Due to excess loading of these wastes beyond their self-cleaning capacities, these ecosystems have resulted in decreased availability of clean water to drink and normal soil for crop production. The present research focused on the treatment of effluent using two bacterial species, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus, and tested for their efficiency in degrading organic and inorganic matters in the effluent. This was detected by measuring the physicochemical parameters of both the raw effluent and treated effluents. While the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated the digital adoption across India, it simultaneously opened the doors to cybercriminals. With people increasingly becoming dependent on online banking, UPI and mobile apps, scamsters manipulated the vulnerabilities in the digital system. As people moved away from paper and started sharing most of their critical information on emails, India recorded unprecedented digital growth. But with this shift, the scammers too shifted their ways and began targeting the important information hidden in the attachments of these emails, using the weaknesses that came along with going digital. This paper considers the impact of leadership on job satisfaction at an international organization with a mix of civilians and military staff, with their national and organizational cultural differences and remote work experiences. According to the sample of 12 staff members interviewed, leaders should have certain traits and values, be supportive of the organization's strategy, build trust, be inspirational, show integrity, promote team member skills and empowerment, avoid micromanagement, be consistent, and balance empathy and authority. The study focuses on military/civilian contrasts; cultural variance in leadership styles; organizational cultural differences between the staff members; their response to inconsistent leadership and to micromanagement; and the benefits and challenges staff members face in remote working. Bisphenol A (BPA) is a toxic industrial chemical which affects the endocrine system of living organisms even at low concentrations. The BPA is widely used for the production of polycarbonates, epoxy resins and thermal paper. BPA is a preferred color developer used in thermal paper industry. In the present investigation, the effluent samples were collected from thermal paper industry from Erode, Tamil Nadu. The bacterial species, Pseudomonas monteilli degraded the BPA, which was isolated from river nearby the thermal paper industry, into which the effluent was discharged. P. monteilli tolerated dosage of BPA up to 700 ppm in nutrient agar medium and also degraded as a sole carbon source up to 350 ppm in mineral salt medium. P. monteilli also utilized glucose with BPA as a carbon source up to 500 ppm in mineral salt medium. The optimum pH (8) and optimum temperature (35 °C) were also recorded for the effective degradation of BPA by the organism. Einstein's paper, "Planck's Theory of Radiation and the Theory of Specific Heat of Solids" (1907) is famous for that it marks the beginning of the quantum theory of solids. In contrast to classical statistics, a simple quantum oscillator model of lattice vibrations yields a decreasing specific heat with decreasing temperature, in agreement with the then few experimental findings. This brought him to the attention of Nernst, who became one of the driving forces to attract Einstein to Berlin. Less known is, however, that this paper contains two other fundamental insights. First, it shows that the differences between classical and quantum statistical distribution functions are related to the energetic spectra of systems, rather than to the (in)distinguishability of particles. Second, the problem of quantization is (indirectly) formulated as the problem to select the set of quantum states out of the set of classical states. Such an approach allows to satisfy the requirements of any quantization posed by Schrödinger as early as 1926. Nevertheless, this paper has found much less attention than most other pioneering contributions by Einstein. It is hoped that the revival of these thoughts will help to overcome some of the still present difficulties in the interpretation of quantum mechanics as well as to provide a dynamical solution to Gibbs' paradox within classical statistical mechanics. From smart portable notebooks to tablets, smartphones to embedded devices, mobile databases are emerging as a key factor in the mobile computing ecosystem. These devices are handy and user-friendly; users can access information regardless of their geographic location, anytime, utilizing wireless and cellular communications. In addition to the convenience they offer, modern mobile systems exhibit the potential to promote the green computing paradigm and by extension a safer environment for humanity to thrive. The paper presents a concise but concrete review of mobile database systems in the green mobile computing ecosystem. The data source comprises 343 papers from notable repositories: IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital library, Springer and Science Direct. 43 papers were selected for analysis based on meeting the two preset suitability criteria: mobile databases and green computing. The study shows that there is not much literature on mobile database systems vis-à-vis the green computing ecosystem, hence, a promising research niche. The paper explores the efficiency of fabricated solar panels using nonconventional materials--an approach that has significant potential for increasing the adoption of solar energy in resource-constrained environments. The fabrication of solar panels using local materials is presented in the paper. Solar cells are devices that convert solar energy directly into electricity-appropriate tools. Thirty-six cells are connected to form a solar array and six components support the solar array to form a solar panel. These components safeguard the array against the adverse effects of weather-related factors such as hail, airborne debris, moisture, ultraviolet (UV) radiation and oxidation. They also provide mechanical support and electrical insulation. Local materials are used for some of these components. Two types of solar cells are considered: Polycrystalline panel and monocrystalline panel give an average power of 80 W and 60 W, respectively, at an average terminal voltage of 18 V. The performances of the locally-fabricated solar panels are comparable with that of imported solar panels. By analyzing these studies, the paper uncovers the theoretical foundations, methodologies, and findings related to the application of the VAIC model in assessing the influence of intellectual capital on financial performance and market valuation. Overall, the findings indicate a positive relationship between intellectual capital, as measured by the VAIC model, and financial performance indicators such as profitability, productivity, and efficiency. Moreover, there is evidence supporting a positive connection between intellectual capital and market valuation, suggesting that investors recognize and reward firms with higher intellectual capital. Nonetheless, the review also highlights several limitations and challenges in the literature, including the inconsistencies in the operationalization of intellectual capital, the complexities of measuring intangible assets, and the potential endogeneity between intellectual capital and financial performance metrics. Eighty years after the Bretton Woods conference that charted out a road map for post-World War II reconstruction, the global economy is facing troublesome economic imbalances, soaring domestic political tensions over income distribution, flaring international conflict over industrial policies, and the failure of international cooperation in addressing potentially existential governance challenges in attenuating climate change and the governance of the digital transformation, including the new general purpose technologies in the nexus of big data and artificial intelligence. The perceived success of the Bretton Woods architecture in enabling postwar reconstruction has prompted calls for a "new Bretton Woods" to address these contemporary challenges. This paper critically examines the original Bretton Woods framework as conceived by its architects, reviews the extent to which it was actually implemented, the extent to which it worked as planned, and the extent to which it delivered on the aims of its architects. It argues that the benefits realized during the Bretton Woods era were largely products of economic and political circumstances that could not be replicated today--and moreover that the Bretton Woods framework cannot be credited with delivering globalization or faulted for its perceived failings. Further, the paper contends that current geopolitical and economic conditions more closely resemble those which motivated the unsuccessful 1933 London Monetary and Economic Conference and suggests that efforts should be turned to redoing London and attempting to improve upon it rather than trying to return to Bretton Woods. This paper is a bibliometric analysis of recent trends in research on CSR in India. VOSViewer is employed to visualize networks such as keyword co-occurrences and author collaborations. With the help of BibExcel, other aspects of bibliometric analysis are carried out. Based on an analysis of 685 papers/retrieved articles from Scopus, the study finds that a company's financial performance has become central to CSR orientation in recent years.
