The master thesis explores the topic of school and mental health of LGBTQ+ people. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the topic of LGBTG+ mental health of adolescents in the context of school. The aim of the empirical part of the study was to find out how is the issue viewed by future teachers who self-identify as LGBTG+. The research is composed of three questions: 1) what experiences do the respondents as LGBTG+ students have had in high school and find significant, 2) how they view these experiences and in what way they reflect their influence on their mental health and future direction, 3) how they view their future role as teachers in the context of mental health issues for LGBTQ+ people in schools. Data were collected in the form of individual semi-structured interviews, with the structure of the interview based on focus groups on a related topic. Interviews were conducted with 11 respondents of various gender and sexual identifications. The data were subsequently analysed by reflexive thematic analysis. The goal is to use a standardized tool to explore the climate at the Prague high school. School climate fundamental terms are described in the theoretical part. The term school climate and climate are specified in this work. Because climate is a multi-meaning word. The first thing that many people think of is weather. However, this thesis deals with the concept of climate from the perspective of a social group. Interpersonal relationships, mood, atmosphere, environment, and feelings can be imagined under this term. The term climate is defined by many authors, some authors agree on the definition, and some contradict each other. In the introductory part of the thesis, the definitions of the term are described by several authors. The next chapter explains the types of school climate, and a separate chapter also describes what a positive school climate should look like. Moreover, the theoretical part is focused on factors which influence school climate and its creators. This exploratory case study is focused on the educational environment and the school climate in one particular Waldorf preschool in Prague. Emphasis of the research was oriented towards the original philosophical basis of Rudolf Steiner, who invented Waldorf education in the early 20th century. The goal of this study was to underpin the specific environment and point out the way, in which the principles of Steiner education are demonstrated in the environment. Within the qualitative research method I have created complex questionnaires for two groups of respondents: parents and teachers. In the creation of the questionnaires I have utilized my own experience form the environment and my knowledge of Waldorf theory and theory of climate. The questionnaires have created a template with predefined codes. After the respondents answered the questionnaires, the codes than got their unique characterizations. The output of this study is a defined elementary hypothesis about functioning and affecting of the environment and the climate from the viewpoint of the two groups of respondents. The aim of the research was to present a dynamic and vivid image of bullying, an image of a class that is affected by bullying. This means to define the form of bullying in the class at the second stage of elementary school, as it was captured in two similar cases, its development and solutions at different levels. This also means examining the phenomenon of exclusion from the class team, finding out the views of students, parents and teachers in a mutual systemic and temporal connection. Observation and keeping a research diary, questionnaires, group and individual semi-controlled interviews were used as methods for data collection. It was a mixed methodology. An ethnographic approach was chosen as the basic framework for this research, where the researcher was attending 2 elementary schools for one school year. The results of the research showed how essential is the correct qualification of what is happening in the classroom, resp. confessing something, as it really is, is a better option than fogging up and pretending that things are ok. The thesis entitled "The Ideal Teacher from the Perspective of Secondary School Students" is divided into two parts - a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is divided into eight chapters. The first chapter focuses on the personality of the teacher. It describes some typologies of teacher's personality, different stages of the teaching profession, selected factors that influence teacher's personality. The second chapter focuses on interaction and communication in teaching. Within this chapter, the author also discusses teacher authority and classroom climate. The other chapters of the thesis focus on the role of the teacher, the workload associated with the profession, and the topic of professional competence and teacher professionalism. Marie-Anna Bitnerová The bachelor thesis Summer semester 2021 The bachelor thesis is concerned with the present situation of Czech pre-school care for children from one to three years of age. The research focuses on the job of child educators in Czech children's day-care centres and on their relationships with other participants in such organisations (parents, colleagues, superiors and children). This phenomenon is described using the concept of accountability, which means responsibility for performed services (social connection between two participants, where one participant accounts for his/her services to the other) and through one's own moral responsibility felt towards other participants while working. The research was carried out using five in-depth interviews with child educators of five Prague-based day-care centres. Based on that data set it appeared that child educators seem to feel most accountable for their services towards the children's parents and most morally accountable towards the children themselves. This diploma thesis deals with the school climate in the context of pupils with different mother tongues and the process of integrating pupils with different mother tongues into the school. The practical research examines a specific Prague primary school, which is attended by a large number of pupils with different mother tongues, and the school has therefore long-term been involved in the integration and education of pupils with different mother tongues. The aim of the thesis is to describe the process of integration and to monitor the support in education and adaptation of pupils with different mother tongues. This thesis focuses on the concept of multi-grade schools. The aim is to describe the social networks in multi-grade schools and to discover some differences from traditional single-grade schools. The theoretical part of this thesis characterizes multi-grade schools and their specifics. The history of multi-grade schools and their current state in the Czech Republic and abroad is also briefly outlined in this part. The attention is mainly paid to the social network of multi-grade schools. The practical part describes the qualitative research carried out, the aim of which was to analyze the social networks of multi-grade schools, to describe the specific climate of these schools and the existence of the multi-grade schools as an institution, and also to focus on describing possible differences between multi-grade and single-grade schools. The research sample consisted of 9 teachers and headteachers from three multi-grade schools in the South Bohemian Region, with whom semi-structured interviews were conducted. Data were analyzed using the clustering. Research has shown that the main advantages of multi-grade schools include the development of pupils' social skills, the possibility to work with pupils individually and a better school and class climate which prevents bullying and other socio-pathological phenomena. These schools also offer suitable educational conditions for pupils with special educational needs. The disadvantages include especially the difficulty of the work of the school headteachers and also of the teachers, who have high demands on the organization of teaching.

v anglickém jazyce ABSTRACT This thesis aims to analyze and describe how the cooperation of pedagogical workers in selected a Little Class School, how cooperation works in practice. The theoretical part deals mainly with characteristic of Little Class school in the Czech republic, further focuses on teacher's personality, on the school climate and its environment where pedagogical employees work together. In the last chapter of theoretical part, cooperation as a topic is mentioned. It defines the basic concepts that are related to cooperation between educators. The diploma work is focused on the development of prosocial behaviour in a kindergarten by means of reader's preliteracy. The theoretical part clarifies the terms related to the issues of the development of prosocial behaviour in a kindergarten, reader's literacy and preliterasy. It as well briefly describes the differences between heterogeneous and homogenous structure of the classroom in a kindergarten arranged according to the age and deals with the kindergarten as well as the classroom climate. The aim of the practical part was to describe in what matter the particular kindergarten develops pro-social behaviour of children with the support of reader's preliteracy. During the whole school year there were particular activities established and consequently implemented into an age-heterogeneous classroom located in a one-classroom kindergarten and upon consequent reflexion and feedback the activities were further provided with a possibility to work further with a given activity. This thesis is focused on the prevention of bullying through personality and social education courses Projekt Odyssea in elementary school. The goal of this work is to determine how pupils, educators and school leaders perceive the courses Projekt Odyssea and whether preventive courses have impact on collectives of individual classes. Data was obtained from interviews with pupils, teachers, school management and the questionnaire survey with pupils. Questionnaires detect the climate of individual classes, relationships between pupils in the classroom, or how students perceive community circles and classes Projekt Odyssea. The results of the research show a positive effect of classesProjekt Odyssea on the personality and social development of pupils. The effect of courses of personality and social education positively promotes good relationships between pupils themselves, between pupils and teachers and this is benefit to the overall school climate.

The diploma thesis assesses the effectiveness of selected forms of care for classroom climate. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with class and school climate and explains what factors influence them positively. It describes the risky periods and situations at the primary school, in which the pupil's adaptation problems may occur. Shows adaptation programs as a form of care classroom climate. The practical part investigates how two concrete schools react to risk periods and situations at the primary school and how do they try to prevent adaptation problems. It also includes the action research on the process of creation, implementation and reflection of adaptation stays for pupils of the third and first year of primary school. It presents the observation of two adaptation programs in two different primary schools. In interviews with teachers from both primary schools surveyed summarizes how teachers perceive the impact of climate adaptation programs in classrooms. The thesis focuses on the issue of civic attitudes adopted by students of vocational schools. The author presents an overview of previous Czech research which shows that students of vocational schools are placed at the bottom of international surveys inquiring civic and political knowledge. Moreover, the results reveal that the students of vocational schools express their support for democracy as a way of government the least. The goal of the thesis is to describe civic and political opinions of concrete students and show who influences them and how. It is designed as a multiple case study. Six students of vocational schools from Prague, a smaller town and a village in Central Bohemian Region were chosen to participate in the study. The core of the work is the description of the individual cases in a detailed context including their family, community, school and friends. The findings indicate that the studied students are usually not interested in politics. Their political beliefs are heavily formed by their family and peers. School as an institution does not have any influence, not even through civic education which is compulsory during the first years of high school education. The diploma thesis deals with the mutual cooperation of the family and the special elementary school. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I deal with family and school cooperation, defining the concept of family, its functions and duties. The second chapter of this part consists of education of pupils with mental retardation. Here I'm going to explain the term of mental retardation, the causes of its origin, the dividing and the characteristics of the special elementary school. The last chapter of the theoretical part presents the model of the school holding the "Parents welcome" certificate. This thesis deals with the psychosocial climate of the school environment, especially the possibilities of its exploration. The work presents important sources of qualitative sociological research with a focus on the ethnographic approach in the first part. The first part follows the research report from the conducted research on the psychosocial climate of the elementary school in Nová Bystřice. The conclusion of the thesis concerns the recommendations for the school based on the identified characteristics. Completed school climate surveys mainly use qualitative data collection methods. This thesis uses qualitative methods and tries to show that such research methods are suitable for schools climate research.

The main aim of this thesis focuses on measuring and comparing the classroom climete of standard and alternative schools.The introductory part comprises definitions of basic terms such as social group, school environment, atmosphere, climate. The Master thesis depicts a social climate in a classroom in Liberec region. The thesis is divided into two larger topic parts - theoretical part where basic terminology connected to the topic is explained and practical part. Theoretical findings introduce issues of classroom climate which partially originates from a larger superior topic of a school climate. This work deals with the classroom climate. The aim is to measure and compare the classroom climate at chosen South Bohemian primary and secondary schools. The work consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical and deals with the basic concepts related to the classroom climate. It deals with the school class as a social group, the position of students in the group, key players and climate determinants as well as with the developmental stages of adolescence, also with the differences between elementary and secondary grammar schools and the possibilities of measuring classroom climate. The second part, which is the fundamental for this work, defines the objectives, assumptions and research methods. In conclusion, the measurement results, their interpretation and verification of assumptions are set.

Thesis "Beginning teacher - analysis of his personality, work and the most common problems in his work" deals with the personality of a beginning teacher, mentions the most common problems in his work and tries to find ideas for improving the situation. Master's thesis "the climate of the school class" is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. Theoretical part deals with subject matter definition of school climate and subsequent analysis and characteristics of related areas. This is mainly an analysis of social class and school climate, mapping factors that contribute to the climate change. How the quality of school culture influences the integration of children with ADHD in the classroom Key words: ADHD, teaching assistant, integration, school culture, culture in the classroom, school climate The theoretical part of this thesis describes the basic terms and definitions that are crucial for the practical part of the work, namely general information about syndrome ADHD, terminology, causes of ADHD syndrome, its diagnosis, etc. Afterwards, the attention is paid to the education of students with ADHD syndrome: the general principles of education, legislative framework, but also the integration of pupils and their advantages and disadvantages are mentioned. Forth chapter deals with school culture and school climate and their connections. The practical part describes a case study: the integration of a female pupil, diagnosed with ADHD, who the author of the thesis for a school year 20132014 worked with. The case study paid attention on school education and teachers' attitudes towards the pupil. Methods of teaching and pupil integration into the classroom are described and discussed, mentioned are also care options. The case study is supplemented with a descriptive analysis of the culture of the school to which the pupil was integrated.

The aim of the work was to determine if the social climate varies significantly between four-year and eight-year high-school. Classes were tested by a standardized questionnaire KLIT, author is Lašek. Participated in the research are 8 classes, 166 students. There are no significant differences in climate. Differences were found between lower and higher grades. The results will be provided to school leadership and classroom teachers and students for the subsequent work with them.

The thesis is divided in two parts. The first theoretical part defines the term cooperation and deals with the question of cooperation and individualism in school environment. It also reflects the documents where cooperation is explicitly mentioned. The main issue of this diploma thesis is the class climate. The goal of this thesis is to characterize, evaluate and compare the class climate measured in some selected schools in České Budějovice. In the theoretical part there are the essential terms established. For example terms class environment, atmosphere and class climate. This thesis presents criteria in selecting an appropriate candidate for position of a class teacher at basic school, basing on performed analysis of different information sources. There's examined knowledge of a school class, potential of class teacher's operational and organizational meetings with his class, leading of parent's evenings and mission of a class teacher at recent basic school. Within school management it offers a detailed professiography of work of a class teacher determined with its legal definition, available professional literature and first of all with analysis of information acquired in interviews with five persons personally involved in these issues - school director, school psychologist, long experienced class teacher, mother of a ninth class student and a student of a ninth class at basic school. The class teacher's work is explored either from viewpoint of conditions for his work as also from viewpoint of his professional and personal competences. These criteria of selecting an appropriate candidate may further be used in common practice of a basic school director within making his decision on right person for this responsible task.

The central point of this thesis is the matter of school climate. The text seeks to cover the important features of this phenomenon and to set its theoretical framework. The thesis itself consists of two main parts: theory and research. To understand school climate we cover the terminology in the first chapter of the theoretical part. The second chapter goes into deeper details of school climate such as its structure and effects. In the third chapter, we take a closer look at salient features and factors impacting school climate. Of these features, students and teachers are the most important elements contributing to the school climate and as such are covered most extensively. The last chapter discusses various criterions to assess the pattern of the school climate. The research section is centered around an opinion survey focused on school climate perception from the standpoint of students, teachers, and parents conducted in smaller city high schools. Next to the description of climates observed, the research also compares the key indicators as well as the views of the survey participants.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the climate in the classroom on the second substage of the elementary school in the context of the ongoing reform of the education system. In the theoretical section are explained basic concepts - for example social group, social roles, positions in groups, school climate, class climate. There are also described determinants of class climate, climate participants and there aren´t missing current approaches to study the class climate. The conclusion explains what is school reform. In the practical part are defined objectives and assumptions. There are further specified measurement method and the measurement process. At the end assumptions are authenticated.

My thesis coucerns in a level of a climate among the schoolmates in the 5. class in the small school and subsequently in the 6. class in the fully organized primary school. The climate was compared by the same scholars during two classes. The sample coucerns in 3 classes in the small schools in the villages in the surroundings of Jindřichův Hradec and 3 classes in the fully organized schools in the Down. In the practical part was used a questionnaire MCI, specifically, his current form. Aime of a thesis was to find out which chmate there is in the small schools, if the participants further work with this situation and, finály, whether the chmate ganges with a transfer the pupils into a fully organized primary school.

The thesis has two separate parts. Theoretical part is focused on general knowledge gained from literature dedicated to the theme and the methodology. Explanation of main terms related to the thesis theme. On a theoretical base, also discusses determinants of clasroom climate and its part in climate forming. The thesis farther presents description of the most commonly used empirical tools dedicated to clasroom climate. Practical part is survey into the social climate of two nine-grade classes of the same school. The reasrch tool chosen is questionary method CES (Classroom Environment Scale). The gathered data are analysed and the results are described and plot on graphs. In conclusion, the results confronts given resarch assumptions.
