Objective To analyze the surveillance data of scarlet fever in Yunnan Province from 2010 to 2022, in order to understand its incidence level and epidemiological characteristics, and to provide a scientific basis for further prevention and control. Methods The scarlet fever data from 2010 to 2022 in Yunnan Province were obtained from the "China Disease Prevention and Control Information System". The spatial distribution was described, and seasonal trends were analyzed using seasonal indices. A total of 92 scarlet fever cases reported by 22 medical institutions in the province were randomly selected for verification of diagnostic accuracy. Results From 2010 to 2022, a total of 21 081 cases of scarlet fever were reported in Yunnan Province, with only 5.25% confirmed cases. The average annual incidence rate was 3,44 per 100 000, with no reported deaths. There were two peaks in the incidence rate each year, in spring/summer and winter, accounting for 49,78% and 17.43% of the total annual cases, respectively. The highest incidence rates were observed in children under 10 years old, with an incidence rate of 23.75 per 100 000, and the incidence rate in boys was higher than that in girls. The cities and prefectures with the highest average annual incidence rates were Lijiang city (10.49 per 100 000), Yuxi city (7.67 per 100 000), Dali Prefecture (5.54 per 100 000), and Pu-er city (5.21 per 100 000). The areas with significant increases in incidence rates around 2020 were Diqing Prefecture, Nujiang Prefecture, Qujing city, and Wenshan Prefecture, and the specific counties with significant increases were Qiubei County in Wenshan Prefecture, Weixi County in Diqing Prefecture, Luoping County in Qujing city, and Lanping County in Nujiang Prefecture, Among the 92 scarlet fever cases reported by the 22 medical institutions from 2021 to 2022, the diagnostic accuracy was 56.52%. Conclusion From 2010 to 2022, the overall incidence of scarlet fever in Yunnan Province showed an increasing trend. It is recommended to implement comprehensive prevention measures focusing on health education in key epidemic areas such as Lijiang, Yuxi, and Dali, and to carry out pathogen surveillance. In areas with significant recent increases in incidence, such as Qiubei County in Wenshan Prefecture, Weixi County in Diqing Prefecture, and Lanping County in Nujiang Prefecture, it is recommended to conduct quality verification of case diagnosis to understand the true situation of scarlet fever incidence. Objective To explore the potential classification of knowledge levels regarding HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and hepatitis B among freshmen from Jiangsu Province, and to analyze the influencing factors of different potential categories. Methods Freshmen from Jiangsu ProvinceJ s thirteen cities attending universities in Jiangsu from 2019 to 2022 were randomly selected through a multi-stage stratified sampling and completed an online questionnaire on infectious disease prevention and control knowledge. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was used to explore the classification and characteristics of knowledge levels of the three major infectious diseases. Multivariate logistic regression model was constructed to analyze the mfluencing factors of potential profile categories. Results The knowledge levels of the three major infectious diseases among freshmen from Jiangsu Province were classified into two categories: ahigh-scoring group" (93.8%) and alow-scoring group" (6.2%). Multivariate logistic regression showed that attending public specialized colleges (OR=2.47: 95%CI: 2.23-2.75), attending private undergraduate colleges (0R=1.44, 95%CI: 1.27-1.63), not being the only child (Oi-=l.ll, 95%CI: 1.01-L23), living with (grand)parents (OR=1.3& 95%CI: 1.12-1.71), and living with others (OR =2.07, 95%CZ: 1.64-2.61) were risk factors for freshmen categorized into the "low-scoring group". Conclusion Based on the significant characteristics of the "low-scoring group" of college students, universities should focus on strengthening health education on infectious disease prevention and control knowledge for students attending public specialized and private undergraduate colleges, those with lower maternal education and family income, non-only children, and those with left-behind experiences, in order to improve the health literacy of college students regarding infectious diseases. Objective To estimate rotavirus vaccine coverage using data from Beijing I Immunization Information System (IIS) and provide evidence for guiding vaccination strategies. Methods Children bom between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2022, were selected from the IIS. Vaccination data for Lanzhou lamp rotavirus vaccine (LLR) and Pentavalent human-bovine reassortant rotavirus vaccine (RV5) were analyzed to assess rotavirus vaccination coverage. Results The overall coverage rates for the 1-3 doses of rotavirus vaccine were 35.93%, 24.02%, and 16.72% among children bom in Beijing from 2017 to 2022. Specifically, LLR vaccination rates were 18.91%, 7.68%, and 1.12%, and RV5 vaccination rates were 22.04%, 21.15%, and 20.19%, respectively. Female children and those residing in urban districts showed higher vaccination rates than male children and those in suburban and outer suburban districts for all doses. Timely vaccination rates for the total, RV5, and LLR doses were 18,68%, 22.00%, and 1.68%, respectively. Conclusion Rotavirus vaccine coverage remains low among eligible children in Beijing, with delays observed in administering the first LLR dose. This article describes the application of transition theory to assist a family with an infant with congenital complex gastroschisis. The nursing period, from March 3, 2023 to May 9, 2023, encompassed care from hospitalization to discharge. The author employed transition theory as a guide and used physical assessments, observations, and interviews for data collection as well as behavioral processes records. The primary nursing problem was identified as "preparation for family operation process enhancement/child's congenital disease and complex care needs, and the family's response to the challenges of the disease and care adaptation." The three phases of nursing care were summarized as: (1) the family adjustment to uncertainty, (2) undertaking caregiving roles and responsibilities, and (3) role development and family reconnection. The author established specific goals for each phase and provided corresponding interventions for the family. In the first phase, the author guided the family in expressing their concerns, and offered personalized health education information as well as psychological support to help them understand the progression of their child's disease and alleviate related anxiety and confusion. In the second phase, the author offered sleep guidance and customized home care schedules to support coping skill development and role functioning. In the third phase, the family was encouraged to explore the meaning of life while accompanying their child's growth in order to achieve spiritual growth and deepen the reconnection within the family. Ultimately, the family strengthened their confidence and capabilities in caregiving and embraced optimism and expectations for the future, enabling them to adapt smoothly to life after their child's return home. When families are confronted with their child's diagnosis with a congenital disease, they often find themselves in a state of self-doubt and faced with continuous challenges. Nurses may employ transition theory throughout the nursing process to better understand and address the evolving needs of both children and their families during the transition phase. Furthermore, transition theory may be applied to help nurses better assess, plan, and care for their patients, which can enhance the capabilities of families and facilitate their successful navigation through the challenging transition journey. Background & Problems: Patients with liver transplantation must take lifelong immunosuppressant medication to maintain the function of their hepatic graft. Based on clinical experience, we found that these patients were affected by both insufficient and remaining medication when they returned for outpatient service visits. After investigating the current situation, It was found that post-transplantation perceptions regarding medication were low in this patient group. After analysis, the identified causes of this included: (1) poor learning effect due to the interference from the multiple therapeutic catheter placement postoperatively; (2) delayed timing of assessing the awareness of information or perception of medication and lack of a post-operative follow-up mechanism; and (3) insufficient educational tools and materials for patients. Purposes: This study was designed to increase medication awareness from the current average of 68.3% to > 91% and to increase patient satisfaction with medication guidance from the current 63.0% to > 85% in patients who had received liver transplantation. Resolutions: The improvement strategy included: designing a health education sheet including related medication information and a daily medication record; designing a mnemonic, interactive video, or test to improve medication perception; creating measures associated with a monitor mechanism to assess medication knowledge. Results: After strategy implementation, medication awareness increased from 68.3% to 92.5% and satisfaction with medication guidance increased from 63.0% to 87.2%. Objective To explore the epidemiological characteristics of foodborne disease events in a rural banquet in Sichuan Province from 2004 to 2023, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of foodborne disease in the rural banquet. Methods The data of foodborne disease events in a rural banquet in Sichuan Province from 2004 to 2023 were collected from the National Foodborne Disease Outbreaks Surveillance System and National Management Information System of Public Health Emergencies and analyzed by descriptive statistics. Results From 2004 to 2023, a total of 189 foodborne disease events in rural banquet were reported in Sichuan Province with 5 971 cases and 22 deaths, and the case fatality rate was 0.37%. The third quarterly was the high incidence period, accounting for 43.39% of the total events. The top three regions with the highest number of reported events were Chengdu (25 events), Luzhou (19 events) and Yibin (18 events). Microbial pathogens were the main pathogenic factors, accounting for 66.67% of the total events. Chemicals were the main causes of death, with 15 and 5 deaths caused by methanol and nitrite, respectively. Meat and meat products were the main causes of foodborne diseases. Improper processing and storage were the main inducing factors. Conclusion The targeted health education, supervision, monitoring, and emergency handling should be carried out to effectively prevent and control foodborne disease events in rural banquets. Objective: To investigate the current situation of awareness and practice testicular self - examination (TSE) among medical students in Wuhan, and to explore the relationship between TSE knowledge and practice. Methods: A total of 500 male medical students from the First Clinical College and the Second Clinical College of Wuhan University, the School of Health and Nursing, Wuchang Institute of Technology, the Department of Medicine, Wuhan City College and the Hubei University of Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to November 2023 were selected by convenient sampling. The present situation of TSE consciousness, practice and knowledge of male medical students, and the barriers and facilitators influencing TSE practice, were analyzed by using the Chinese version of TSE consciousness scale. Results: The average age of the 500 respondents was (21.93±1.72) years, only 45.4% of the students had heard of TSE. In terms of TSE awareness, 31.3% respondents believed that all men should understand TSE, 57.7% believed that TSE contributes to the early diagnosis of TC, and 43.6% believed that men should start TSE between 21 and 25 years of age, 52.9% of the students did not know the optimal frequency of TSE. In terms of TSE practice, only 37.4% of the students had ever done TSE, but only 22.5% practiced regularly, and 22.0% of the students knew the procedures and procedures of TSE. On the TSE knowledge, the accuracy of four items is above 50%, and the accuracy of the remaining five items is less than 50%. In terms of barriers and facilitators influencing TSE practice, for most respondents, the barrier to TSE was their fear of finding a lump and feeling embarrassed about TSE, and felt that the test should be done only in older men. Conclusions: It is necessary to emphasize the importance of TSE in the training of medical students, so that these students acquire the health knowledge and skills of TSE, and encourage male medical students to undergo TSE regularly, so as to better promote the social effect in public health education. Objective To evaluate the effect of chronic disease health management on disease activity and renal injury in patients with lupus nephritis (LN). Popularization of medical knowledge plays an important role in promoting effective communication and understanding between doctors and patients. Based on the shortcomings of the model of popularization of traditional medical knowledge, such as unidirectional dissemination, insufficient depth of information and difficulty in understanding, this paper explores the types and advantages of innovative models of popularization of medical knowledge by searching the literature. Currently, the main models of community-based popularization of medical knowledge include traditional media (TV, radio, newspapers), lectures, special report, books, brochures, etc., which are limited in terms of the effectiveness of information dissemination, lack of interaction and personalization, as well as continuity and traceability. In this paper, an in-depth discussion was conducted on the innovative model of popularizing the knowledge of critical care medicine in the community, and many new models of popularizing knowledge, including cartoons, animation, virtual reality, augmented reality, and Internet platforms were proposed, and useful community practice was carried out. The results of the practice showed that the number of reading hits and the satisfaction with popularizing science were significantly increased under the innovative models of popularization of knowledge. The innovative model of popularization of knowledge can improve the efficiency of medical knowledge popularization, enhance patient participation, bridge the gap of medical knowledge, and provide customized health management solutions, which is of a significant advantage, however, it also has limitations such as higher dependence on technology and equipment, and the model of popularization of knowledge still needs to be continuously innovated and explored.

The development of health-promoting hospitals is an important part of the Healthy China Initiative, facilitating the transformation of medical institutions from a primary focus on medical and surgical treatments to a patient-centered approach prioritizing public health. To promote the scientific, standardized, and sustainable development of health-promoting hospitals, the Shanghai Municipal Center for Health Promotion, together with Shanghai General Hospital and other institutions, has jointly developed the Standards for the Development of Health⁃promoting Hospitals (Standards) in accordance with the principles of scientific rigor, feasibility, and advancing with the times. The Standards outlines the requirements for the development of health-promoting hospitals across four aspects: organizational and institutional guarantees, creation of a healthy environment, implementation of health education and promotion, and evaluation. It is applicable to all levels and types of public medical institutions in Shanghai, and can also be referred to and implemented by other medical institutions. The introduction of the Standards is of great significance for promoting the formation of a long-term mechanism in health-promoting hospitals. This paper introduces the basis, principles, main content, precautions, and implementation suggestions of the Standards. Taking into account relevant policies and standards, it interprets the technical aspects in the process of developing health-promoting hospitals, which is helpful for medical institutions and their management to better understand and apply the standards in their work.

Background Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is rarely applied to outpatient treatments. The impact of CGM-based diabetes education to change unhealthy living and eating habits on the blood glucose profile is still unclear. Objective Based on the retrospective results of CGM, outpatient education such as diet and exercise was applied to outpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) who were managed by oral hypoglycemic drugs. This study aims to evaluate the effects on blood glucose profiles. Methods A total of 88 outpatient T2DM patients medicated with oral hypoglycemic drugs in the Department of Endocrinology, Nanjing First Hospital in 2021 were included and managed by CGM, involving 60 male and 28 female patients. The enrolled patients maintained the original hypoglycemic treatment regimen and lifestyle habits on the 1st to 3rd day. On the 4th day, we downloaded and analyzed CGM data and provided outpatient education based on individualized eating habit and exercise. On the 6th day, the CGM sensor and recorder were removed. CGM data on the 2nd day versus 5th day were compared for dynamic blood glucose profiles, including the 24 h mean blood glucose (MBG), mean amplitude of glycemic excursion (MAGE) and time in target glucose range (TIR) . Background The memory and self-care abilities of older adults with chronic diseases are gradually declining, and relying solely on their personal strength for disease self-management is difficult to achieve good results, requiring more help from others. When providing health education to older adults with chronic diseases, it is not only necessary to focus solely on the elderly, but also to fully utilize the patient's social network and involve social network members in the disease management of the patients, to more effectively improve their self-management ability. Objective To explore the impact of social network-based health education on the self-management ability of older adults with chronic diseases in community. Methods From March 2021 to June 2022, older adults with chronic diseases who visited Beijing Fangzhuang Community Health Service Center, Clinic of Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital and Endocrinology Clinic of Beijing Hospital, Hongliancun Community were recruited. Using a computer-generated random number table, the older adults were assigned numbers in the order of recruitment, with odd numbers being intervention group and even numbers being control group. They were randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group in a 1∶1 ratio. The older adults in the intervention group received health education with their social network members, while those in the control group received health education alone. The Chronic Disease Self-Management Study Scale (CDSMS) was used to evaluate the effectiveness of chronic disease self-management before intervention, at the 6th and 12th months of intervention, meanwhile the Lubben Social Network-6 (LSNS-6) was used to assess their social network level. Results Eighty older adults with chronic diseases were enrolled, of which 1 patient (in control group) withdrew from the study due to two hospitalizations during the study period. Finally, 79 older adults completed the study: 40 older adults in the intervention group+40 members of their social network, and 39 older adults in the control group. With the aging of the global population and the transformation of lifestyle, the incidence of chronic non-communicable diseases continues to rise, thus having brought great challenges to global public health. In this context, medical and health services must adapt to this growing trend, which necessitates carrying out research on the medical prevention integration mode, and gradually strengthening its application in clinical practice. This paper aims to explore the application status quo, and future development trends of the treatment-prevention integration mode, as well as the challenges it faces from the perspective of chronic non-communicable disease management. We first introduce the background of chronic non-communicable disease management, and then describe the integration of treatment and prevention from multiple aspects in chronic disease management, including multidisciplinary collaboration, patient follow-up system, family doctor signing services, and health education on chronic diseases, so as to realize the comprehensive, chronic disease management throughout the life cycle, and improve patients' health level and living quality. Finally, we believe that in the future, it is necessary to strengthen scientific and interdisciplinary research, intensify the training and education of medical staff, and enhance the development of digital medical technology, in order to better meet the growing health needs of the people. Objective To evaluate the application of micro-video combined questioning health education in the nursing of elderly patients with diabetes mellitus. Methods Totally 158 elderly patients with diabetes mellitus who admitted to the hospital during January and December 2023 were recruited using random number method, and were divided into control group (n=79) and observation group (n=79). The control group was given conventional oral health education, and the observation group was given micro-video combined with questioning health education. The health knowledge awareness, patients' treatment compliance, blood glucose level, and time required for health education were observed and compared between two groups. Results After the intervention, the health knowledge and treatment compliance of patients in the observation group were higher than that of the control group(P＜0. 01); The Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG) and 2h Postprandial Glucose (PPG) levels were in the observaiaton group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0. 01). The time required for health education was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P＜0. 01). Conclusion Micro-video combined with questioning health education can effectively improve the diabetes knowledge awareness rate of patients, improve patients' treatment compliance, effectively control the blood sugar level, shorten the time required for health education, and improve the work efficiency of nurses, which is worthy of clinical promotion. A nursing experience supporting parents experiencing anxiety related to their 26+2 weeks preterm infant on continued ventilator assistance at home due to bronchopulmonary dysplasia is described in this article. Data were collected from March 21st to June 1st, 2021 via observation, interviews, clinical care, medical record reviews, and discharge preparation services. A holistic nursing assessment identified the main health issues as: gas exchange disorder, inefficient infant feeding patterns, and caregiver role stress. The parents were encouraged to participate in care activities, create individualized discharge plans, and view health education videos and caregiving skill demonstrations. Kangaroo care, comfortable positioning and soothing techniques were used to stabilize the emotions of the infant and to strengthen the parent-child bond. Psychological support was provided to alleviate parental anxiety and to enhance parenting ability and confidence. This experience supports the importance of tailoring clinical care to individual needs, adopting a family-centered approach, assessing family interactions, and making early preparations to obtain appropriate continuous care after discharge to ensure proper continuum of care. Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, visitation restrictions in line with infection control policies curtailed opportunities for family members to learn essential caregiving skills in the intensive care unit. This limitation decreased satisfaction among family members, possibly indicating their increased difficulties in care due to the lack of face-to-face guidance. Thus, increasing family member understanding of and ability to apply learning content without direct interaction presents a significant and urgent challenge. Moreover, because of lack of caregiving confidence, some family members may be reluctant to facilitate the discharge of critically ill patients, causing delays in discharge planning. These challenges underscore the obstacles faced by nursing health education during the pandemic. Purpose: This study was designed to utilize cloud technology to enhance the knowledge and skills of families caring for infants with congenital heart disease at home and to assess their satisfaction with the associated homecare learning platform. Resolution: Based on our hospital's cloud-based health education platform, a series of personalized instructional video materials was developed for families of infants with congenital heart disease. These materials cover comprehensively the entire treatment process, from diagnosis to post-discharge home care skills, for these patients. To facilitate autonomous learning, the videos in this series were made accessible to the families anytime, anywhere via personal devices such as smartphones and tablets. Concurrently, a chatbot tool was integrated to provide guidance on inpatient care for infants with congenital heart disease, including fundamental aspects of newborn care, with the aim of equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic post-discharge care. To ensure the families acquired personalized care skills, after completing the learning modules, practical bedside training sessions incorporating knowledge and skills assessments were organized for family members. Results: After project implementation, the average knowledge score for family members increased significantly from 79.1 to 100 (perfect score). The proportion of family members proficient in executing caregiving techniques autonomously also rose impressively from 30% to 95%. Furthermore, average overall satisfaction with cloud-based technology-assisted caregiving learning among the family members rose 31.4% from 3.5 to 4.6. Conclusion: This project represents a viable solution to providing clinical nursing guidance independent of the constraints of time and location, and effectively enhances homecare-skill-related learning outcomes in family members, especially with regard to caring for infants with congenital heart disease. Objective To evaluate the service effect of health education institutions in China, identify the existing problems, and put fonvard feasible solutions. Methods The Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Rank-sum ratio (RSR) were used to evaluate the service effect of health education institutions in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government). Results In total 14 indicators for evaluating the sendee effectiveness of health education institutions were selected in the study. Among them, the top two index with the largest weight were the number of people covered by short messages and the number of audio and video products, while the last two were the number of host websites and the number of programs by co-operating with TV stations. The evaluation of entropy weight TOPSIS method showed that the Ci value of each region was between 0.022 and 0.665. The evaluation results of RSR method showed that the number of areas where the service effect of health education institutions was poor, average, good, and excellent were 2, 13, 13, and 3, respectively. The general trend of the two results was basically consistent with that of the fuzzy joint model. Conclusion The fuzzy combination of entropy weight TOPSIS method and RSR method can better e-valuate the sendee effect of health education institutions in China. There is an imbalance between the content and the region in the service of health education institutions. We should increase the total investment in health education publicity and human resources, and put forward measures according to the differences of different regions, so as to improve the service effect of health education institutions and enhance residentsJ well-being and satisfaction. Objective To investigate the changes in health risk behaviors among high 一 risk groups in the lung cancer screening cohort in Ma' anshan City, and to explore the association between lung cancer screening and health risk behavior changes. Methods Follow 一 up survey was conducted among the high 一 risk population participating in screening. Basic data and health risk behavior information were collected at baseline and during follow 一 up. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to explore the association between lung cancer screening and changes in three kinds of health risk behaviors. Results The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that women(OR 二4. 24, 95% CI: 1. 80 - 9. 96, P = 0. 001), those with positive pulmonary nodules (OR 二 1. 98, 95% CI: 1. 23 - 3. 20, P = 0. 005) and those who consulted the doctor after screening (OR 二 1. 65, 95% CI: 1. 08 -2. 52, P = 0. 020) were more likely to quit smoking. Comprehensive nursing care is closely related to the prognosis of surgery. This project aims to enhance the awareness and performance integrity of nursing care for orthognathic patients. To examine the causes of clinical complaints arising from inconsistent nursing guidance questionnaires and actual observations, revealed that the degree of completeness of nursing care in performing orthognathic surgery was only 64.1%, and the degree of cognitive accuracy was only 64%. Our findings indicated that the following three factors contribute to the problem: 1) Inconsistent nursing instruction content, 2) Lack of regular education and guidelines, and 3) Incomplete nursing processes. For the purpose of this project, we implemented the following items: 1) To set up a standard operating procedure and regular audit program for orthognathic surgery, 2) To develop clinical handover guidelines, 3) To arrange on-the-job training at the bedside, and 4) To prepare cross-team cooperation health education videos. As a result, the completeness of orthognathic care performed by nurses increased to 96.3% and the correct rate of patient understanding of surgery increased to 97.3%. This outcome indicated that a targeted intervention can successfully improve completion rate of orthognathic surgery nursing care and improve patient understanding of medical procedure. The ingrown toenails paronychia is a common nail problem occurring when the nail plate grows laterally into the periungual skin. It may cause hypertrophy of the nail folds tissues and purulent granuloma. At present, the clinical treatment of ingrown toenails paronychia mainly includes conservative treatment and surgical treatment. Appropriate treatment methods should be selected according to the demands of patients and the clinical manifestations of nail inlay. In addition, enhancement of prevention, removing potential causes and treating according to the nail inlay are helpful to reduce the recurrence rate and achieve relatively sound clinical efficacy. This review summarizes the clinical treatment and nursing progress of ingrown toenails paronychia, in order to provide reference for improving treatment efficacy and nursing quality. Objective To investigate the application efficacy of WeChat Platform combined with Teach-Back mode in shoulder joint recovery after modified radical mastectomy. Methods A total of 148 patients who underwent modified radical mastectomy in our hospital from January to June 2021 were recruited as the conventional group, and another 182 patients who underwent modified radical mastectomy in our hospital from July to December 2021 were included in the improved group. The conventional group received routine health education and functional exercises. The improvement group were given health education based on WeChat Platform and Teach-Back mode to guide patients to perform functional exercise and answer patients' feedback questions through WeChat every day. Constant-Murley shoulder joint function score, quality of life score, anxiety score and depression score were compared between the 2 groups at 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery. Results Constant-Murley shoulder joint function scores were higher in the improved group than the conventional group at 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery. Bullosis diabeticorum is a distinct, spontaneous, noninflammatory, blistering condition of acral skin that is unique to patients with diabetes mellitus, resulting in the infection, ulcer, gangrene and even amputation. This paper summarized the nursing practice of patient with bullosis diabeticorum combined with diabetic foot ulcer. Based on the comprehensive nursing evolution, an effective nursing plan consisting of wound care, pain control, psychological care and health education was established to improve the wound healing and patient’s quality of life during treatment. Objective To establish a health promotion team consisting of nurses, and to carry out health promotion programs to improve the health care knowledge of patients in the outpatient clinic. Methods Health promotion programs including health education lectures, nursing health counseling, handbook of health-related knowledge and self-made videos were carried out, and the quality of the activities was continuously improved according to the evaluation outcomes. Results Participants’ awareness of disease prevention and control had been enhanced after implementation of health promotion programs(P＜0. 05). Conclusion By taking advantage of workplace competence of nurses, nursing health promotion programs are effective to improve the disease prevention and control knowledge and self-protection ability of the population who had visited the outpatient clinic. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common lung disease causing restricted airflow and breathing problems. COPD treatment focuses on minimizing further lung damage, controlling symptoms and preventing complications. Health education is an important component of pulmonary rehabilitation for COPD patients at stable stage. This paper reviewed domestic and foreign studies on health education for COPD patients, analyzed the role of constitution and Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation in individualized health education, and provided reference for establishment of health education of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for phlegm-dampness syndrome patients with COPD at stable stage. Objective To explore the effect of health education based on interactive 3D-modeling of intracranial artery on interventional diagnosis and treatment for patients with intracranial artery stenosis. Methods A total of 70 patients requiring interventional diagnosis and treatment due to intracranial artery stenosis admitted to our department in 2022 were enrolled, and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. Their stenotic sites of intracranial arteries included the vertebral and middle cerebral arteries. The observation group received the preoperative conventional education mode combined with interactive 3D-modeling to carry out health education, while the control group got the unified education sheet and slides to carry out routine preoperative health education. A self-made publicity and education effectiveness rating scale was used to score before and after the publicity and education, and their scores of awareness of intracranial artery stenosis, awareness of treatment plans, and satisfaction with medical treatment were compared between the 2 groups. Results Before the health education, there was no statistical differences in their awareness scores concerning intracranial vessels(normal intracranial arteries, intracranial arterial occlusion, and vascular stenosis treatment) between the 2 groups patients. After the implementation of education, the awareness scores of intracranial vessels were elevated in both groups, but the awareness scores of the normal intracranial artery, intracranial artery occlusion, vascular stenosis treatment, and treatment satisfaction were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P

The extended care service plays an important role in improving the condition and quality of life of elderly patients with chronic diseases. This paper introduced the concept of extended care, and summarized the ways of extended care service for elderly patients with chronic diseases in China. This paper also concluded the nursing quality assessment and limits in research of extended care for chronic diseases in the elderly, and provided reference for the future research direction and establishment of extended care program for elderly patients with chronic diseases in China. Objective To discuss the nursing strategy of dynamic navigation technology in the treatment of edentulous implantation with immediate restoration. Methods Totally 42 patients with edentulous jaws treated in First Clinical Division, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology from January 2019 to May 2023 were analyzed retrospectively. All the patients were treated with implant-supported immediate restoration of edentulous jaws under dynamic navigation. Nursing care experience was analyzed. Results Through preoperative design and dynamic navigation-assisted surgery, all the patients achieved successful immediate restoration with accurate location of implants and no complication. All the implant were placed at the correct position and achieved good initial stability. Immediate fixation and repair were completed, with a complication rate of 1. 59% at 6 months after surgery. Conclusion Dynamic navigation-assisted edentulous implantation requires nursing staff to get a good knowledge of related theories, appliance installment and software operation. Effective nursing plays important role in the treatment of dynamic navigation-assisted edentulous implantation. Objective To investigate the status quo of health education implemented by nurses in stomatology clinics in Guangdong Province, analyze the factors affecting the implementation of oral health education, so as to provide reference for the implementation of health education for patients in stomatology clinics in the future. Methods A self-designed questionnaire on the implementation of health education was used to investigate 382 oral outpatient nurses in Guangdong Province from May to July 2022 by convenience sampling method. Results Totally 344 valid questionnaires were obtained, the effective recovery rate was 90. 05%. Among the 344 nurses surveyed, 87. 79%(302/344)of them conducted health education assessment before health education, 56. 10%(193/344) of nurses made oral health education plan, and 63. 95%(220/344)of nurses conducted oral health education effect evaluation. Among the 344 nurses surveyed, 85. 47%(294/344)of the nurses in the dental clinic chose armchair preaching in the course of practice, 97. 97%(337/344)of the nurses said that "oral immediate preaching" was the main teaching medium. Information provided to patients mainly focuses on disease prevention, treatment, oral health care knowledge, etc. Among the 344 nurses surveyed, 86. 92%(299/344)nurses believed that the lack of manpower and full-time health education personnel were the main factors affecting the implementation of oral health education. Conclusion At present, there has been a lack of choice of health education methods and media. The theory of health education and oral professional knowledge need to be strengthened, the procedure and system of oral health education need to be standardized, and there is an urgent need to establish the full-time oral health education post. Objective To explore the application effect of intelligent health education based on the health belief model on patients with postoperative kinesophobia after surgical treatment of cervical spondylosis. Methods A prospective cohort study was conducted with patients who underwent anterior cervical discectomy, decompression, and fusion surgery with a single central nerve and spine center, and who had postoperative kinesophobia, ie, fear of movement. The patients made voluntary decisions concerning whether they would receive the intervention of intelligent health education. The patients were divided into a control group and an intelligent education group and the intervention started on the second day after the surgery. The intelligent education group received intelligent education starting from the second day after surgery through a WeChat widget that used the health belief model as the theoretical framework. The intelligent health education program was designed according to the concept of patient problems, needs, guidance, practice, and feedbacks. It incorporated four modules, including knowledge, intelligent exercise, overcoming obstacles, and sharing and interaction. It had such functions as reminders, fun exercise, shadowing exercise, monitoring, and documentation. Health education for the control group also started on the second day after surgery and was conducted by a method of brochures of pictures and text and WeChat group reminder messages. The participants were surveyed before discharge and 3 months after their surgery. The primary outcome measure compared between the two groups was the degree of kinesophobia. Secondary outcome measures included differences in adherence to functional exercise (Functional Exercise Adherence Scale), pain level (Visual Analogue Scale score), degree of cervical functional impairment (Cervical Disability Index), and quality of life (primarily assessed by the Quality of Life Short Form 12 [SF-12] scale for psychological and physiological health scores). Results A total of 112 patients were enrolled and 108 patients completed follow-up. Eventually, there were 53 cases in the intelligent education group and 55 cases in the control group. None of the patients experienced any sports-related injuries. There was no statistically significant difference in the primary and secondary outcome measures between the two groups at the time of discharge. At the 3-month follow-up after the surgery, the level of kinesophobia in the intelligent education group (25.72±3.90) was lower than that in the control group (29.67±6.16), and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). In the intelligent education group, the degree of pain (expressed in the median [25th percentile, 75th percentile]) was lower than that of the control group (0 [0, 0] vs. 1 [1, 2], P<0.05), the functional exercise adherence was better than that of the control group (63.87±7.26 vs. 57.73±8.07, P<0.05), the psychological health was better than that of the control group (40.78±3.98 vs. 47.78±1.84, P<0.05), and the physical health was better than that of the control group (43.16±4.41 vs. 46.30±3.80, P<0.05), with all the differences being statistically significant. There was no statistically significant difference in the degree of cervical functional impairment between the two groups (1 [1, 2] vs. 3 [2, 7], P>0.05). Conclusion Intelligent health education based on the health belief model can help reduce the degree of kinesophobia in patients with postoperative kinesophobia after surgical treatment of cervical spondylosis and improve patient prognosis. 0bjective To explore the effectiveness of caregivers based on health education under the guidance of timing theory in the nursing of elderly patients after hip replacement. Methods By convenient sampling method, eighty elderly patients undergoing hip replacement were divided into control group and observation group, 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine orthopedic care, and the observation group was based on health management under the guidance of the timing theory ( total hip replacement, TIR) based on routine orthopedic care. The Harris Hip Score, Activities of Daily Living Scale ( Barthel index), Caregiver Burden Inventory and Family Caregiver Task Inventory were used to compare and evaluate the application effect of health education of two groups of caregivers in the nursing of elderly patients after hip replacement. Results The patients were observed one month and three months after discharge, the Harris score and Barthel index of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.01). At discharge, 1 month after discharge and 3 months after discharge, the FCTI score ( P < 0.01) and CBI score ( P < 0.01) of family caregivers in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Conclusion Caregivers based on health education under the guidance of timing theory can effectively reduce the care burden of caregivers, enhance the care ability of caregivers, improve the rehabilitation effect of patients, and ameliorative the quality of life of patients. Objective To investigate the changes and influencing factors of health literacy level of rural residents in Chongqing from 2018 to 2021, and to predict the health literacy level of this population from 2022 to 2024, so as to provide a basis for formulating health promotion strategies in rural areas of Chongqing in the future. Methods Using the national unified health literacy questionnaire, the health literacy monitoring data of rural residents in Chongqing from 2018 to 2021 were analyzed, and the health literacy status of 73 478 residents from 39 districts and counties in the city were investigated. Multi-variable logistic regression method was used to analyze the influencing factors of residents? health literacy. The grey prediction model GM (1,1) was used to predict the health literacy level of rural residents in Chongqing from 2022 to 2024. Results From 2018 to 2021, the health literacy level of rural residents in Chongqing showed a steady upward trend = 280.989, P<0.001). The four-year health literacy levels were 17.14%, 21.68%, 22.50%, and 24,15%, respectively. Multivariate regression analysis showed that the older age was associated with lower level of health literacy: 45 -59 years old: OR-0.761 (95%CI: 0.725-0.800); 60-69 years old: OR =0.455 (95%CI: 0.426-0485). Higher education level was associated with higher level of health literacy: junior high school: OR=2.551 (95%CI: 2432--2.675); senior high school/vocational high school/technical secondary school: 02?=4.435 (95%CZ: 4.145-4.746); college/undergraduate and above: OR=6.890 (95%CI: 6.261-7.582). The forecast result of GM (1,1) showed that the total health literacy of rural residents in Chongqing would rise to 28.54% by 2024, The three aspects of health literacy showed an upward trend. Among the six aspects of health literacy, four aspects of health literacy continued to rise: the literacy of infectious disease prevention and treatment (up to 37.54%), health information literacy (32.39%), chronic disease prevention literacy (29.88%), basic medical literacy (28.59%). Two aspects of health literacy continued to decline with scientific health literacy decreasing to 33.42% and safety and first aid literacy decreasing to 38.57%, Conclusion The health literacy of rural residents in Chongqing continued to improve from 2018 to 2021. There is an urgent need to take targeted intervention measures to improve health literacy of the elderly, low-educated, and low-income rural residents. The forecast results show that the literacy level of scientific health concept, safety and first aid literacy will decline in the next three years, so we should pay more attention to it. Objective To construct an evaluation tool for health education of pneumoconiosis patients using the Delphi method to evaluate the effectiveness of health education. Methods Based on the consensus of relevant experts and clinical research, the first draft of the health education evaluation questionnaire for pneumoconiosis patients was developed through the Wenjuanxing, and 14 experts related to the industry were selected. During April and May 2023,experts were invited to judge the importance of the questionnaire items through Wechat and other means, and the health education evaluation questionnaire for pneumoconiosis patients was finally determined. Results The effective recovery rate of the two rounds of correspondence questionnaire was 100%.In the first round of expert correspondence, Cs was 0.880,Ca was 0.930,and Cr was 0.905.In the second round of expert correspondence, Cs was 0.900,Ca was 0.960,and Cr was 0.930.Kendall′s W values in the second round were higher than those in the first round, and the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.001）.Finally, a health education evaluation questionnaire for pneumoconiosis patients with 10 primary items and 60 secondary items was selected. Conclusion The health education evaluation questionnaire for pneumoconiosis patients constructed by Delphi method is reliable and can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of health education for pneumoconiosis patients. Malnutrition is a common cancer treatment side effect, leading to the decreased treatment tolerance and increased risk of complications induced by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This paper summarized the studies on malnutrition among patients with lung cancer in perspectives of risk factors, evaluation tools and nursing interventions, in order to provide reference for clinical practice of lung cancer treatment and nursing. This paper summarized the nursing management of allergic dermatitis after peripherally inserted central catheter placement in a patient with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Key points of nursing included catheter maintenance, risk assessment, self-management, health education and extended nursing.
