Objective To identify the characteristics of nutritional problems in patients with Parkinsonism who participated in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and to investigate the correlation between nutritional status and dysphagia in these patients. The predictive value of video fluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS) and EAT-10 scale for malnutrition was compared. Methods Subjects were patients with Parkinsonism participated in joint MDT consultation project in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from November 2020 to January 2023. Subjective and objective dysphagia were evaluated by EAT-10 scale score and VFSS dysphagia score. Nutritional status of the patients was evaluated by geriatric nutrition risk index (GNRI), albumin, prealbumin, serum folic acid, vitamin B12 and temporal muscle thickness. Results A total of 30 participants met the criteria and were included in the study. The age was 45-82 (66.1±9.0) years old. Six (20%) were at risk of malnutrition shown b a comprehensive nutritional status assessment using GNRI. The areas under receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves(AUC) of VFSS dysphagia score and EAT-10 score to predict malnutrition were 0.781 (0.568-0.995) and 0.927 (0.827-1.000), respectively. EAT-10 score was correlated with GNRI(r=-0.524, P＜0.01), BMI(r=-0.618, P＜0.001), prealbumin (r=-0.616, P＜0.001). The VFSS dysphagia score was only correlated with BMI (r=-0.446, P＜0.05) and prealbumin(r=-0.387, P＜0.05). Conclusions Patients with Parkinsonism requiring MDT often have multiple micronutrient imbalance. Patients′ subjective perception of dysphagia has a greater impact on their nutritional status than objective assessment of dysphagia.

Objective To summarize the experience of nursing care of patients with severe alopecia areata treated with topical diphenylcyclopropenone. Methods Seventeen patients with severe alopecia areata treated with topical diphenylcyclopropenone were enrolled. Before the treatment, self-protection was given to the therapist and informed consent was given to the patients. During the treatment, the principles of procedure and drug dosages were strictly followed. After the treatment, WeChat APP was used in the follow-up management of patients. This management included one-to-one evaluation of and consultation on efficacy, adverse reactions, diet and psychology. Results Seventeen patients completed the 16-week treatments, with an effective rate of 58.82%. The adverse reactions were mild and controllable. The therapists did not experience any adverse reactions such as allergic reactions. Conclusion In the treatment of severe alopecia areata with topical diphenylcyclopropenone, appropriate pre-operative preparation and post-operative care can effectively improve the patient's compliance and the therapeutic efficacy.

Bulimia nervosa is a type of eating disorders characterized by recurrent binge eating and compensatory behaviors to prevent weight gain, as well as excessive concern about body shape and mass. The patients with bulimia nervosa present with disturbed eating behavior, resulting in electrolyte abnormalities, gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic and endocrine disorders and other physical problems; secondly, the bulimia nervosa patients are often co-morbid with a variety of mental disorders such as bipolar disorder, depression, substance use disorders, which need to be taken seriously. However, bulimia nervosa and even eating disorders cannot be recognized and diagnosed at an early stage in China, which leads to a prolonged course of the disease. Therefore, under the organization of the Eating Disorders Coordination Group of the Psychosomatic Medicine Society of the Chinese Medical Association, in conjunction with the Eating Disorders Research Collaboration Group of the Psychiatric Medicine Society of the Chinese Medical Association, this expert consensus was formulated by 12 experts in the field of psychiatry and evidence-based medicine based on evidence-based medicine, domestic and foreign guidelines and expert consensus and expert experience, in order to improve the recognition, diagnosis and treatment of bulimia nervosa by psychiatric professionals and general practitioners in China.

As a member of the nuclear receptor subfamily, NR4A1 works with glycerol kinase, a key glucose and lipid metabolism enzyme, to lower blood glucose and boost blood lipids and maintain glucose and lipid homeostasis, while NR4A1 deficiency leads to disruption of hepatic glucose and lipid metabolism. NR4A1 is involved in maintaining the dynamic balance of oxide and antioxidants, reducing inflammatory responses, and promoting autophagy, among other activities. Since NR4A1 is closely related to the occurrence of diabetic nephropathy and other diseases,it has aroused widespread concern in recent years.

Vitiligo is a common skin disease with acquired depigmentation, seriously impacting patients′ physical and mental health. With the acceleration of life rhythm and the increase in psychological stress, the incidence of vitiligo increases. Because of the complicated pathogenesis, the treatment of vitiligo is still one of the most difficult challenges in dermatology. At present, the therapeutic efficacy for vitiligo is limited although various treatment methods are available. Therefore, new therapeutic approaches still need to be explored. Psoralea corylifolia injection, a proprietary Chinese medicine, can stimulate the synthesis and transport of melanin, and promote the division and proliferation of surviving melanocytes in the epidermis and hair follicles. Hence, the Psoralea corylifolia injection-based combination therapy is expected to provide a new safe and effective treatment for vitiligo. In this paper, we review literature on Psoralea corylifolia injection for vitiligo in respect of the mechanisms, usage and adverse reactions.

In this study, soybean protein isolate (SPI) and blueberry anthocyanins (BANs) complex (HPPM-SPI-BANs) treated by high power pulsed microwave (HPPM) was prepared, and its physicochemical properties and biological activity were evaluated. The effect of HPPM treatment on the functional properties and biological activity of SPI was studied. In addition, the effect of partial replacement of egg white protein by HPPM-SPI-BANs on the baking quality and storage properties of cake was evaluated. The results indicated that HPPM treatment significantly improved the solubility of HPPM-SPI-BANs by 2.11 folds, and improved the foaming and emulsifying properties (P < 0.05). The antioxidant activity was also significantly improved compared with SPI and SPI-BANs complex without HPPM treatment. Moreover, the addition of HPPM-SPI-BANs inhibited water loss during cake baking and improved the hardness and chewiness of cake. The 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity and ferric reducing antioxidant power of cake with HPPM-SPI-BANs increased by 4.56 and 3.79 folds, respectively, and the aging rate constant k decreased to 0.12. Accordingly, HPPM-SPI-BANs plays an important role in improving the shelf life quality of cake.

In order to study the deformation and failure mechanism of the roof in end slope mining, a mechanical model of the two-end fixed beam was established, combined with the theory of elasticity to derive the calculation equations for the stress and displacement of the roof, and to consider the effect of the extrusion of the overlying weak rock layer of the rib pillar on the deformation of the roof, and finally, the analysis obtained the stress distribution and deformation law of the roof. The research shows that the distribution of normal stresses in the roof is parabolic with a secondary axisymmetric distribution at the center of the roadway, and the maximum tensile stress is at the center of the bottom of the roadway. The maximum tensile stress and the maximum shear stress on the roof increase continuously with the increase of mining progress. The location of the middle of the bottom surface of the roof first shows tensile failure, and then gradually changes to shear failure at the contact location with the coal pillars. The value of u at the bottom of the roof rock beam shows a trend of first decreasing, then increasing, and finally decreasing as x increases, but lateral extrusion has little effect on the horizontal displacement of the roof. The displacement component ν of the roof shows a parabolic variation law with x opening upward. The absolute value of displacement |ν| considering the simultaneous action of vertical compression and lateral extrusion is the most obvious.

Effects of liquid polybutadiene rubber activity-50 on the processability and fatigue resistance of cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber (BR)/natural rubber (NR) blends were investigated. The fatigue resistance of vulcanizates was investigated from the perspective of fatigue crack propagation using crack growth test platform and finite element ABAQUS/CAE. The results showed that activity-50 could reduce the storage modulus and viscosity of the rubber blend, and the addition of activity-50 in the rubber blending process could improve the processability of the system. Adding 2 phr and 4 phr of active-50 could reduce the crack growth rate. When the amount of active-50 continued to increase, the crack would accelerate. Adding an appropriate amount of activity-50 could improve the processability and fatigue resistance of BR/NR blend.

In order to improve the accuracy of stiffness calculation and derive an accurate rotation angle function and a more accurate deflection function, bu using the chain rule, considering all the higher-order quantities, and combining the relations of higher-order quantities and geometric characteristics, the rotation angle function of the beam was accurately deduced, and the reason for the error of the traditional approximation method was revealed. Consequently a more accurate deflection function was obtained by using the precise rotation angle function. To further verify the reliability of the precise functions, simulation was performed by the method of finite elements. The results show that the value of the angle of rotation obtained by the precise rotation angle function satisfied the finite element simulation results. The accurate rotation angle function was more in line with the actual angle of the beam and was more suitable for practical engineering, which provides a theoretical basis for further approach of the precise deflection function. The calculation result of the accurate rotation angle function can be obtained quickly by related software, which could promote the update of the related software's solution method, and have a wide application prospect.

To improve the accuracy of the modeling and stability evaluation of the waste dump, the theoretical analysis is conducted on the remolding load produced by different operation modes of the waste dump. Combined with the compressive deformation characteristics of pore structure, the growth mechanism of shear strength of rock and soil in the remolding process is revealed. Based on the actual production of Shengli Open-pit Mine, this paper puts forward the method of inclined stratification of internal waste dump and horizontal stratification of external waste dump, and analyzes the influence of stratum division on the evaluation result of waste dump stability. The results show that the stability coefficients of the internal and external waste dumps are 6.2% and 30% higher than those of the traditional waste dumps, respectively, and the difference of stratum mechanical parameters results in the overall upward migration of the potentially dangerous slide surface.

In order to make full use of the difference of seasonal freeze-thaw strength of the soil on the free face of the slope to improve the recovery rate of the coal under the end-slope, the mechanism of the improvement of the shear strength of the frozen soil is analyzed by using shear plane microstructure model. Two kinds of strips mining methods for the secondary steep mining in the freezing period are proposed, and the optimal strips width analysis flow is designed. A case study on the south end-slope of Western Shengli No.1 open-pit mine is carried out. The results show that the stability factors of the south end-slope in the non freezing period and freezing period are 1.06 and 1.14, respectively. The second steep mining can be carried out in the freezing period, and the optimal strips width is determined to be 60 m by analysis. The secondary steep mining realized that the south end-slope angle was raised from 30° to 33° and the end-slope residual coal was recovered by 171 500 t. In the seasonal frozen soil area, the implementation of the strips secondary steep mining can ensure the safety of the slope and further improve the recovery rate of resources.

In order to study the stability difference of dump slope under different pore water pressure redistribution and evaluate the stability, according to the actual groundwater level distribution of a mine dump from August to September, the influence mechanism of water pressure redistribution on slope stability is analyzed. SLOPE/W module is used to simulate the slope stability difference and safety factor variation under different pore water pressure distribution. The results show that the redistribution of pore water pressure will change the pore space in the slope, accelerate the infiltration, and weaken the slope of waste dump in different degrees. With the decrease and expansion of the negative pore water pressure distribution range, the matrix suction of the slope changes and the safety factor first decreases and then increases. When the slope safety factor increases to 1.421, the groundwater level decreases by 30 m. It is close to the basement as a whole and will no longer affect the slope stability of waste dump.

In forensic pathology, the estimation of postmortem interval （PMI） has always been a difficult issue, and there is still lack of effective methods to estimate PMI of corpses in water. Microbial biofilm refers to the microbial population attached to non-biological or biological surfaces by microorganisms during microbial growth, that has a three-dimensional structure, surrounded by extracellular polymers and matrix networks created by itself. A series of community succession phenomena of microorganisms occur during the occurrence and development of microbial population. The microbial community and its succession process of this kind of biofilm attached to the surface of a corpse in water may become a new basis for estimation of the PMI of corpses in water. This review elucidates on the concept, classification, research methods, and influencing factors of biofilm and analyzes its application prospects in PMI estimation of corpses in water, which would provide new ideas for the researches in this field.

Introduction: During a badminton game, athletes need to perform high-intensity tasks such as jumping, lunging, changing direction quickly, and hitting the ball. The tactics are highly different between singles and doubles games. Understanding the difference in match load between singles and doubles games could help in the design of proper training plans and recovery strategies. The aims of this study were to quantify the work load of badminton players and to compare the differences in match load between singles and doubles players. Methods: Fifteen junior college men's badminton team players were recruited as experiment participants. Each player wore two Capture.U inertial sensors (wrist and lower back), a Polar H10 heart rate sensor (chest), and a Global T1 local positioning system sensor (shoulder). Each participant played one singles and one doubles simulated match and then recorded their work load during the match. The difference in singles and doubles match loads was analyzed using the dependent sample t-test. Results: Banister's TRIMP, average heart rate, maximal heart rate, distance covered, and average speed of singles players were higher than those of doubles players. However, sRPE and player load were not significantly different. Singles players also played a higher number of shots and had a greater stroke frequency and sum of acceleration peaks. The number of shots, stroke frequency, and sum of acceleration peaks were higher in doubles combinations than in singles. Conclusion: The higher heart rate and average speed of singles players and the greater distance they covered indicate that singles matches had a higher physical load. In doubles matches, the number of shots was higher and stroke frequency and sum of acceleration peaks were greater, suggesting that they had a higher hitting load. In conclusion, singles matches impose higher physical demands, whereas doubles matches require focus on technical and tactical skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: The preferred transition speed (PTS) is an important parameter in gait research to distinguish the walking or running state. Most of the research on PTS, however, has been conducted with people of European and American ethnicities. Relatedly, previous studies exploring body measures as possible determinants of PTS were biased toward longitudinal body dimensions, and there have been few studies investigating the correlation between PTS and longitudinal and transverse parameters. Along those lines, there has been only limited research on PTS in Taiwan. The purpose of this study, therefore, was to use regression equations to determine the relationship between longitudinal and transverse anthropometric parameters and PTS in Taiwanese males. Methods: Longitudinal and transverse anthropometric parameters of the lower limb were measured in fifty-three Taiwanese males, and the walk-to-run and run-to-walk speed tests were performed to obtain the PTS of these subjects. The relationship between the PTS and the anthropometric variables was determined by using Pearson's product-moment correlations and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: Weak to small correlations between several body length and width variables and the PTS were found. Significant correlations (p < .05) between transverse body scaled to body height (pelvic width %) and the PTS were found (r = .275). The lower limb parameters were then subjected to stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results yielded a multivariate regression formula with PTS = .111 pelvic width (%) + 5.350 (R2 = .076). Conclusion: With the inherent differences in longitudinal body parameters (e.g., height, leg length (%), calf length (%)) between Taiwanese and European-American males, the results of the study suggest that it is not possible to estimate the PTS by referring to the regression results of foreign limb parameters. Therefore, the longitudinal and transverse anthropometric parameters of the lower limbs in Taiwanese males cannot be used as predictors of the PTS, suggesting that future studies on the relevance of other parameters, such as kinetics or kinematics, for the PTS should be conducted. Previously cloned mEPSPS gene [ conferring glyphosate herbicide ( Roundup ), resistance ] was in-troduced into a Brassica napus line Jia 572 by Agrobacterium - mediated transformation method. Molecular analysis demonstrated that 4 independent transgenic plants were obtained, and the mEPSPS gene was inherited to the next generation. RT - PCR analysis indicated that the mEPSPS gene could be successfully transcribed in transgenic rapeseed plants although the expression levels varied among different lines. Herbicide resistance assay by Roundup spray showed that the transgenic plants survived under 100 - time diluted solution with commercial glyphosate -containing 41% herbicide (as 3 039mg/L glyphosate), while the wild type died even under a 200 - time diluted solution.
