Objective The aim is to solve the problems of high regeneration energy consumption and high economic cost in the capture of carbon dioxide(CO2) by traditional absorbents, and to develop new phase change absorbents. Methods This paper provided a comparative study of the performance of four phase change absorbent systems: DETA-1-propanol, MMEA-DEG, DEEA-MEA, and DEEA-AEEA. Using monoethanolamine (MEA) with a traditional absorbent mass fraction of 30% as a reference standard, experiments were conducted to study absorption, desorption, foaming, corrosion, cyclic absorption-desorption, as well as estimated regeneration energy consumption and costs. Results The DETA-1-propanol system had a rich phase volume accounting for 66% of the total volume, with a maximum absorption capacity of 3.34 mol/kg, representing a 54.6% improvement compared to 30% MEA absorbents. The solvent cost was 11 500 yuan/t, which increased by 35.5% compared to 30% MEA absorbents. The regeneration enthalpy was 0.28 GJ/t CO2, and the regeneration latent heat was 1.1 GJ/t CO2. Compared with MEA absorbent, it reduced by 73.3% and 12.0%, respectively. Conclusions The DETA-1-propanol absorbent system exhibits higher absorption and desorption performance, high cycling stability, as well as lower regeneration energy consumption and solvent cost. To address the challenge of balancing load-bearing and electromagnetic (EM) wave absorption properties in aircraft composite skin, the outstanding mechanical and electrical characteristics of carbon fiber (CF) prepregs were utilized to construct a carbon fiber dual-polarized absorbing laminated structure (CFDALS). The bidirectional CF arrays were introduced into the glass fiber (GF) laminated structure, to endow the laminated structure with dual-polarized EM wave absorption performances. Additionally, the excellent load-bearing capacity of the CF reflector was used to enhance the mechanical properties. Simulation results indicate that, the CFDALS achieves an average absorptivity over 90% within the 8~18 GHz frequency band at incident angles of 0°~45°, and within the 5~18 GHz band at incident angles of 0°~60° for TE and TM polarized EM waves, respectively. The 3-point bending simulation results show that, the CFDALS exhibits higher specific flexural strengths and stiffnesses along 2 directions of the CF arrays while achieving dual-polarized EM wave absorption. Incorporation of bidirectionally arranged CF prepregs into GF prepregs enhances the dual-polarized EM wave absorption performance and the bidirectional flexural performance of the CFDALS simultaneously. The extraction and composition analysis of peptides (FNPs) from fermentation Nannochloropsis sp., as well as their anti-aging effects on Drosophila melanogaster in vivo were investigated. Compared with the non-fermentation group, the number of peptide in FNPs increases by about 100, and the oxidation sites in the peptides also increase. The maximum absorption intensity of FNPs is observed at 258 nm with a dose-dependent relationship. Compared with the control group, 5 μg/mL FNPs extends the mean life span of the the natural aging Drosophila melanogaster for 13 days. Additionally, for 70-90 days old, the deterioration of oxidative stress indicators such as MDA, SOD, and CAT caused by age are significantly restored and increased to the level of positive group by FNPs at 0.5 and 5 μg/mL. These results indicate that FNPs have potential as a promising nutritional component for alleviating human health problems induced by aging. It can also be used as a new antioxidant ingredient for functional food development or cosmeceutical applications from a resource rich and easily obtainable raw material Nannochloropsis sp. In order to quantitatively grasp the moisture absorption/desorption process of moisture control materials and give better play to its moisture control effect, there have been continuous studies on the continuous improvement and optimization of the mathematical model of moisture absorption/desorption of humidity control materials, from the initial empirical parameter model to the mechanism model based on physical process, the accuracy has been continuously improved. Taking the silica gel moisture control material as an example, combined with the applicability characteristics of the museum application scene, the research progress of its moisture absorption/desorption model is summarized, and the related issues that need to be paid attention to and solved are discussed. In order to understand the distribution characteristics of water content in the process of silica gel adsorption and dehydration, the influence of desorption temperature on the adsorption capacity and phase structure of silica gel was studied. The effects of desorption atmosphere, desorption temperature, desorption time, water content, and desorption times on the effective residual water of silica gel were studied. The effective adsorption water of silica gel under different desorption conditions was calculated. The results showed that when the desorption temperature was not greater than 130 °C, the adsorption capacity did not decay and the structure remained stable. The effective residual water of silica gel is related to the desorption temperature and atmosphere, but not to the pre desorption water content and desorption times. When desorbing in an air atmosphere, the optimal desorption condition is 130 °C, 1 h, and the effective residual water is 8. 5% ~9. 1%. When adsorbed for 20 ~ 150 min, the effective adsorbed water increases linearly with adsorption time, especially when adsorbed for 120 ~ 150 min, the effective adsorbed water reaches 12% ~ 14%. Toluene was indirectly oxidized and absorbed by micro-nano bubble gas-liquid dispersion system coupled with ceramic membrane. The effects of initial pH of the absorption liquid, toluene concentration and flow rate on the oxidation and absorption efficiencies of toluene were investigated, and the reaction mechanism was also studied. The results showed that the absorption of toluene in the neutral solution was the best, and the absorption efficiencies decreased with the increase of toluene concentration and gas flow rate. Under the optimal conditions of pH 7.00, toluene concentration 256.06 mg/cm³ and gas flow rate 150 mL/min, the absorption efficiency of toluene reached 95.98%. In addition, the degradation products and mechanism analysis showed that ⋅ OH released by micro-nano bubbles oxidized and degraded toluene to form CO2 and water, and it was absorbed in the liquid phase. Carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) technology has become an important part of China's carbon neutral technologies. Compared with the organic amine absorbers conventionally used in the industrial field, functional ionic liquids with low volatility, high stability and site designability show unique advantages in CO2 capture by chemical absorptions. The research progress of functional ionic liquids for CO2 capture in recent years was reviewed. The structural classification and synthesis strategies of functional ionic liquids were briefly described. Three types of active sites (nitrogen site, oxygen site and carbon site) of functional ionic liquids and the corresponding capture mechanisms were described in detail. Neptunium is one of long-life radioelements, whose speciation in different condition of underground water and soil type, including the adsorption characteristics and adsorption mechanism on some soils, is a critical field. The adsorption behavior of Np(Ⅴ) on muscovite minerals was studied by combining theoretical calculations and static adsorption experiments, providing a reference for evaluating the safety of nuclear waste disposal sites in this work. The adsorption behavior of 239Np(Ⅴ) by different particle sizes of muscovite was studied using characterization methods such as X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), material specific surface area(BET), and NaI(Tl) gamma spectroscopy. Explored the effects of factors such as time, pH value, and the presence or absence of \begin{document}${\mathrm{CO}}_3^{2-} $\end{document} on the adsorption of Np(Ⅴ) by muscovite with different particle sizes. Combining density functional based on first principles, B3LYP was selected as the functional and 6-31G* as the basis group, and quantum chemical calculations were carried out to obtain the dissociation constant(pKa) values of the sites, in order to describe the electronic behavior of the skeleton structure. The experimental results show that different particle sizes of muscovite have an impact on the adsorption of Np(Ⅴ), and the presence or absence of \begin{document}${\mathrm{CO}}_3^{2-} $\end{document} in the environment also affect the adsorption distribution coefficient. However, as the particle size of muscovite decreases, more active sites are exposed, and the trend of adsorption distribution coefficient varies. Based on the SEM image and adsorption distribution coefficient curve, it can be seen that as the grinding mesh size of the sample increases, the end face increases, and even layered muscovite is peeled off. In the alkaline region, the adsorption distribution coefficient slightly increases, but the adsorption distribution coefficient is all less than 100. A small amount of Np(Ⅴ) is enriched in fine-grained to extremely fine-grained minerals, related to finer sediment. The adsorption of Np(Ⅴ) by muscovite is weak and not dominant. Np(Ⅴ) mainly migrates with groundwater in muscovite minerals.

The improper treatment of crude oil will cause great harm to the ecological environment and biological health. Traditional oil spill clean-up methods have problems such as high cost and secondary pollution. Thermal-assisted oil absorption material can achieve rapid adsorption of high-viscosity crude oil. The design strategies of thermally assisted oil absorption materials were summarized, including improving hydrophobicity/lipophilicity, enhancing capillary force and increasing thermal effect (Joule heating, photothermal conversion, magnetic heating). The oil absorption mechanism was elaborated from three aspects, namely, heat conversion, heat transfer and oil spill adsorption mechanism. The materials are mainly commercialized sponges and aerogels as carriers to recover crude oil through distillation, extrusion, pumping, etc. Among the four types of thermally assisted oil absorption materials: Joule-heating type needs rapidly raise the temperature at a small voltage to improve safety; there are obvious limitations in solar-type, such as slow warming rate, limited heating uniformity, and highly susceptible to the influence of meteorological conditions; magnetic-heating type is less studied and has challenges in practical application; the combination of solar-assisted and Joule-heating-assisted is common in the composite type. In order to improve the coolness of wool worsted fabrics during summer use and expand their applications in short sleeved shirts, summer shorts, and work-wear, wool blended fabrics with good cooling effect and excellent wearing comfort were designed and developed in this paper by screening dyestuff with infrared reflection ability, and combining cool-touch fibers and moisture wicking finishing. Compared to conventional fabrics of the same quality, this fabric can cool down by 2-4 °C under simulated sunlight irradiation conditions, and has excellent contact cooling sensation (Q-max value of 0.28 J/(cm² · s) and wicking effect (wicking height of over 12.5 cm). In order to enhance the UV absorption characteristic of epicatechin derivatives and improve their solubility in non-polar solvents such as oils and fats, 2,2'-di(p-hydroxybenzocarbonyl)-epicatechin was synthesized from epicatechin and p-hydroxybenzoic acid using methane sulfonic acid as solvent and catalyst. The target products were separated by column chromatography, and the purity was verified by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and the structure of the target products were verified by UV-vis, FT-IR, ¹H NMR, 13C NMR, LC-MS spectroscopy. The UV absorption characteristic of 2,2'-di(p-hydroxybenzocarbonyl)-epicatechin and its ability to scavenge ABTS+·, DPPH· and O2-· were evaluated. The results show that the synthesized 2,2'-di(p-hydroxybenzocarbonyl)-epicatechin had similar UV absorption and comparable molar absorptivity to OMC, the commonly used UV absorber, and is expected to be an excellent UV absorber in the UVB band. 2,2'-di(p-hydroxybenzocarbonyl)-epicatechin had good antioxidant activity in vitro, and its antioxidant capacity in vitro was higher than that of VC and slightly lower than that of epicatechin, which is expected to be used for cosmetic applications. Ternary deep eutectic solvents (DES) comprising choline chloride (ChCl), glycerol (Gly) and ethanolamine (MEA) with different molar ratios were prepared. The CO2 absorption ability of the ternary DES was investigated at room temperature and under atmospheric pressure. Among four ternary DES samples prepared with different molar ratios, a ChCl-Gly-MEA (1:1:10) ternary DES was found to absorb the most CO2 at a capacity of 0.18 g CO2 (DES per gram) at 298 K and 101.3 kPa. The experimental results showed that the CO2 absorption capacity of ChCl-Gly-MEA (1:1:10) ternary DES increased with an increase in gas flow rate and a decrease in water content. The gas flow rate improved the mass transfer efficiency of CO2 in the ternary DES system, and shortened the time required for CO2 absorption to reach equilibrium. However, the addition of water could weaken the hydrogen bonding interaction among the three components in the DES system. Results from Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy indicated that CO2 interacted with the amino groups in DES to form carbamates. The absorption of CO2 by ChCl-Gly-MEA underwent both physical and chemical absorption, and the chemical absorption was significantly enhanced by the addition of MEA. A recovery experiment showed that no obvious loss in CO2 absorption was detected after five absorption/desorption cycles with an absorption rate of 97.3% being retained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The seeds of Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy' were used as research materials. The internal structure, water absorption and germination of the seeds were observed. The results showed that the seeds of Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy had double dormancy. The seeds were etched with concentrated sulfuric acid for different time and then treated with gibberellin of different concentrations. The results showed that the seed dormancy could be broken effectively and the seed germination of Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy could be promoted. It turned out that the best treatment was acid etching with concentrated sulfuric acid for 25 min and soaking with 300 mg/L gibberellin, and the germination rate was (60.0±3.3)%. Calcium and iron are essential metal elements for human health, as they play important roles in various metabolic processes such as bone formation and oxygen transport. Their interactions may interfere with each other’s absorption and bioavailability; however, deficiencies of calcium and iron are common nutritional problems that may cause osteoporosis and anemia, respectively. Therefore, understanding the mechanism of the intestinal absorption of calcium and iron and their interactions is crucial for developing effective strategies to prevent or treat these nutritional diseases. Many studies have demonstrated that calcium could inhibit iron absorption on a short-term basis, while long-term calcium supplementation has no effect the overall iron homeostasis, perhaps because the effect of calcium intake on iron absorption is a transient and adaptive response. The molecular mechanisms involved may include modulation of iron transporters by calcium, but more research is needed to elucidate this process. Furthermore, there are few studies on how iron affects calcium absorption. High doses of iron may have a negative effect on calcium absorption and retention; however, the specific effect of iron on calcium absorption is not clear. In this article, the current understanding of the intestinal absorption mechanism of calcium and iron, their interactions during the absorption process, and the underlying molecular mechanisms governing their reciprocal effects on each other’s absorption are summarized, which is of guiding significance for formulating efficient strategies for improving calcium and iron intake and absorption as well as for preventing public health problems caused by nutritional deficiencies.

The influences of cotton fiber and CoolMax filament composite yarn on the moisture absorption and quick drying performance and air permeability of fabrics under different yarn structures, yarn twists and fabric structures were discussed. Eight kinds of fabrics were prepared by orthogonal experiments, and their various factors were tested and analyzed. The results showed that the combination of different yarn structures, yarn twists, and fabric structures had a significant impact on the moisture absorption quick drying performance and air permeability of the fabric. The moisture absorption of the fabric was optimal when yarn structure was core spun yarn, yarn twist was bigger and fabric structure was twill weave. The optimal quicking drying of the fabric was achieved when the yarn structure was wrapped yarn, yarn twist was bigger and fabric structure was plain weave. The fabric had the best air permeability when the yarn structure was wrapped yarn, yarn twist was bigger and fabric structure was twill weave. It is considered that overall planning and analysis in many aspects can be done to achieve the best performance during the actual development of fabrics with moisture absorption and quick drying properties. In order to establish a rapid method to identify the absorption and activation ability of iron in different peanuts, the iron deficiency cultivars Nongda 818, Luhua 11, Shanhua 11, and the iron sensitive cultivars Luhua 12, ICG6848, and Baisha 1016 were employd in iron deficiency nutrient solution instead of soil. The yellowing time of new leaves in iron deficiency environment was recorded. After the new leaves of all peanut seedlings turned yellow, the iron supply was resumed. The seedlings were treated with 20 µmol/L FeSO4 for 2 d and 4 d, 25 µmol/L FeSO4 for 2 d and 3 d, and 30 µmol/L FeSO4 for 1 d, 2 d and 4 d, the increase of chlorophyll value (ΔSPAD), dry weight and iron uptake were measured to identify the iron uptake capacity. The iron activation ability of peanut was evaluated at 25 µmol/L Fe2(SO4)3 for 2 d and 4 d, 30 µmol/L Fe2(SO4)3 for 2 and 3 d, and 35 µmol/L Fe2(SO4)3 for 1 day, 2 d and 4 d. Results showed that the seedlings of all peanuts showed yellowing on the 10th day of iron deficiency treatment. Then, 25 µmol/L FeSO4 was used to iron supply for 2 days, which led to in iron sensitive cultivars. When treated with 30 µmol/L Fe2(SO4)3 for 2 days, the increase of SPAD value and iron activation per plant were also significantly different between the deficient tolerant and sensitive cultivars. Therefore, considerting peanut iron absorption/activation ability, the increase of seedling SPAD, iron uptake per plant and/or activation per plant could be used as indicators after iron supply (25 µmol/L FeSO4 or 30 µmol/L Fe2(SO4)3 for 2 days) when seedlings have been etiolated. Flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) is an important experiment in instrumental analysis laboratory teaching for undergraduates. Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) is used to quantitatively determine a specific element in real samples, which has the advantages of high accuracy, precision, and selectivity. Zinc gluconate oral solution is a common over-the-counter zinc supplement in daily life. Through independent experiments of undergraduates, a simple and easy-to-operate FAAS method is established to determine the zinc content in zinc gluconate oral solution. This experiment aims to cultivate students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge learned in class to solve practical problems, and achieve the educational goal of "learning for application, and application to promote learning". The research progress of organic amine chemical absorbents is reviewed. The performance evaluation indexes of absorbents, CO2 capture mechanism of different absorbents, existing problems and development trends are reviewed. With the goal of 1.5 °C temperature rise and the vision of carbon neutralization, the research, development and application of carbon capture, utilization and storage technology have attracted more and more attention. Among many carbon capture technologies, the chemical absorption method with organic amine as the absorbent is the most studied and mature carbon capture technology. A number of demonstration projects have been built in the power, cement, chemical and other industries, which is most likely to achieve large-scale carbon emission reduction in the power and industrial sectors. The shape memory alloy (SMA) can deform pseudo-plastically under external load, based on which a reusable impact energy absorption structure was designed. According to the classical SMA constitutive model, the finite element model for thin-wall structures was established, and the dynamic characteristics such as deformation modes and energy absorption of different forms of honeycomb structures under different impacting velocities, were analyzed, and the optimal energy absorption performance of the SMA structures was obtained. In addition, through comparison of the energy absorption performance of the SMA honeycomb with that of the aluminum honeycomb, the energy absorption of the SMA honeycomb with different structure configurations was different from that of the aluminum honeycomb under different-velocity impacts, with the optimal structure changes. Water-repellent soil has a very wide application prospect in the field of agricultural engineering. However, it is still lacking in the hydraulic stability of water-repellent clay. The applications are only targeted at water-repellent dry sand so far. In this study, octadecylamine was taken to modify the highly adsorbent expansive soil with water repellency. A systematic investigation was also conducted to explore the water-repellent and hydraulic stability of loose expansive soil with different water repellency after adsorbing water vapor. Five samples were selected as the compacted expansive soil (hydrophilic expansive soil, hydrophilic expansive soil + hydrophilic sand, hydrophilic expansive soil + water repellent sand, water repellent expansive soil, water repellent expansive soil + water repellent sand). The results show that the greater the humidity was, the greater the mass of water vapor adsorbed by different water repellency expansive soil was. At the same humidity, the water repellency shared little effect on the mass adsorbed by soil. The expansive soil with different water repellency (including slight water repellency) was extremely water repellent after adsorption, where all test points were evenly water repellent. The huge specific surface area of water-repellent expansive soil was obtained for the strong adsorption properties. As such, the water repellency of expansive soil further increased to fully adsorb octadecylamine molecules while adsorbing water vapor during adsorption. After compaction, the water-repellent expansive soil and water-repellent expansive soil + water repellent sand samples exhibited water repellency in a large range of moisture content. There was a range of water-repellent moisture content, all of the soil samples were extremely water-repellent. Compared with the rest, the best hydraulic performance was achieved in the water-repellent expansive soil + water-repellent sand mixed sample share. Specifically, the expansion rate of the expansive soil was reduced from 33.9% to 3.45%, and the shrinkage fissure degree was reduced from 18.75% to 3.6%. Hydrophilic expansive soil realized 90% of the expansion within 90 min, while it took 1 680 min for water-repellent expansive soil and water-repellent sand to complete the same proportion of expansion. Water-repellent modification of expansive soil reduced the expansion amount and rate. There was the basically same air entry value of the hydrophilic sample and the water-repellent sample. But the water content corresponding to the air entry value of the water-repellent sample was smaller than that of the water-repellent sample, and the water-repellent expansive soil matric suction followed the same trend as hydrophilic expansive soil, in terms of moisture content. The pore water pressure remained "negative" at all times in the extremely water-repellent expansive soil, as the moisture content changed. There was no "positive" pore water pressure. There were the lower strength parameters c and φ of water-repellent expansive soil, compared with hydrophilic expansive soil. There was no significant change, indicating better mechanical properties after water-repellent treatment. The special hydraulic properties of waterrepellent expansive soil were attributed to that the water-repellent aggregates remained dry inside the aggregates after immersion. This finding can provide a new idea for the application and promotion of water-repellent clay in agricultural engineering. Objective In order to find a new absorbent with good absorption performance, low solvent loss, and low energy consumption for CO2 capture, the preparation and performance of guanidine amino acid ionic liquids to capture CO2 in flue gas was investigated. Methods Three kinds of guanidine amino acid ionic liquids with low viscosity, namely [TMG] [Lys], [TMG] [Ala] and [TMG] [Asp] were prepared using tetramethylguanidine (TMG) as a cation and lysine (Lys), alanine (Ala), and aspartic acid (Asp) as anions. The effects of anionic types on CO2 absorption were investigated. Results The alkaline [TMG] [Lys] had a higher CO2 absorption, with a CO2 absorption capacity of 0.64 mol CO2/mol IL under the condition of atmospheric pressure, 45 ℃, and 80 mL/min. The addition of water had a positive effect on the absorption of CO2. The absorption capacity of 30 wt% [TMG] [Lys] aqueous solution increased to 0.99 mol CO2/mol IL and could still keep 0.81 mol CO2/mol IL after 5 absorption-desorption cycles. The decarbonization mechanism of [TMG] [Lys] was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectroscopy (¹H-NMR). CO2 mainly reacts with the amino group on the anion to form carbamate to achieve efficient capture of CO2 in the flue gas. Metal thin-walled tubes are widely used in vehicles as energy absorption structures. Improving the energy absorption characteristics of thin-walled tubes is of great significance for enhancing the passive safety of transportation vehicles. In this paper, a combination of multi-corner and multi-cell structures of single and double corrugated multi-cell tubes were proposed. The influence of corrugation amplitude and corrugation number on the energy absorption characteristics of the corrugated multi-cell tube were studied by numerical method. It was found that the energy absorption of the corrugated multi-cell tube is improved compared with that of traditional square multi-cell tube. In addition, the double corrugated multi-cell tube has a more stable deformation and a higher energy absorption than the single corrugated multi-cell tube. Finally, the optimal structure was selected to study the influence of rib position and node reinforcement. The results show that the edge-to-edge connection has the best energy absorption characteristics, and the node reinforcement at the rib could further improve the energy absorption of the double corrugated multi-cell tube. Compared to traditional square multi-cell tube, the energy absorption of node-strengthened double corrugated multi-cell tube increases by 88.17%, and the crushing force efficiency increases by 65.91%. The node- strengthened double corrugated multi-cell tube has better energy absorption characteristics than traditional square multi-cell tube, leading to broad application prospects as crashworthiness structures. This paper investigates the impact of surface pollution on abnormal heating with 110kV composite insulators as the research subject. Firstly, infrared inspections were conducted on three full-sized composite insulators at various pollution classes, and the infrared spectrum characteristics of contaminated composite insulators were analyzed. Subsequently, water absorption experiments were performed on silicone rubber flat samples to analyze the effects of pollution on insulator moisture absorption properties and dielectric performance. Finally, tests were conducted on short samples with protective sheaths of six levels of pollution classes in an artificial climate chamber to analyze the influence of leakage current on temperature rise and to assess the impact of pollution on the surface electric field distribution of insulators using the finite element method. The research results indicated that pollution caused and exacerbated abnormal heating in composite insulators. In a high-humidity environment, when the pollution level of full-sized samples exceeded class B, the heating temperature of insulator exceeded 0.5 ℃. Pollution had a more significant impact on the aging of the composite insulator materials; polluted composite insulators exhibited a 'U'-shaped distribution pattern of the surface electric field, with the heating region primarily concentrated in the high-field strength area of the end sheath. The wet pollution state had a significant impact on the electric field of composite insulators, with the maximum electric field strength increasing from the original 4.8 kV/cm to 6.2 kV/cm. The primary cause of abnormal temperature rise in polluted composite insulators was the polarization loss generated by the sheath and the absorption of moisture by pollution, with surface resistive leakage current having a relatively minor influence. The electromagnetic wave absorption capabilities of conventional iron matrix composites and ceramic matrix composites are constrained by factors such as their high density, poor absorption efficiency, restricted absorption bandwidth, and other drawbacks. The low density and strong electrical conductivity of carbon-based composites have made them a wave-absorbing material of significant interest in recent years. Among them, carbon fiber reinforced composites (CFRP) have the potential for research and development in microwave absorption performance, and as a light weight, high strength, high stiffness and high temperature resistance material, they have unique advantages in the field of wave absorbing materials. The mechanism of absorbing materials and the mechanism of electromagnetic wave loss are introduced, and the research progress of absorbing modification of CFRP in recent years is reviewed. The wave absorption modification is mainly divided into two categories. One is to introduce special substances and structures into the material matrix, including magnetic metal modification, nano modification and surface structure modification. The other is to treat the material's surface with coatings, including composite coating and gradient coating. The development trend of CFRP wave absorbing composites is prospected. Objective The aim is to develop a suitable organic amine solution for the removal of CO2. Methods The CO2 absorption/desorption performance of piperazine-based organic amine solutions were investigated using PZ, 1MPZ, HEP and AEP as absorbers. Results The CO2 absorption performance of the PZ solution and AEP solution was superior than that of the 1MPZ solution and HEP solution obviously, but the desorption effeciency of the two solutions was relatively low, which was not beneficial to the circulation of organic amine solutions. Although the desorption effeciency of 1MPZ solution was more than 85.00%, its volatility led to a considerable reduction in the CO2 circular absorption capacity, which limited industrial application. While the desorption effeciency of the HEP solution was about 90.00%, and the variation range of both CO2 absorption capacity and desorption effeciency was lower than 1% after 4 cycles of the absorption/desorption experiments. Conclusions The HEP solution has excellent stability, so it is more suitable for the industrial CO2 capture process, and has a great application prospect.  [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Since negative stiffness metamaterials are reusable as energy-absorbing materials, it is necessary to investigate the energy-absorbing performances and reusability of negative stiffness metamaterials. The designed negative stiffness metamaterial was prepared with the 3D printing technology, and the energy absorption performance of the metamaterial in the multi-stable mode and the mono-stable mode was investigated by repeated loading experiments. The effect of the residual stress on the energy absorption performance of the metamaterial was studied with the natural aging method. The results show that, the specific energy absorption of the designed metamaterial first decreases and then stabilizes with the increase of the number of loading times in the case of repeated loading. In both the multi-stable mode and the mono-stable mode, the natural aging method can effectively release the residual stresses in the metamaterial, thus improving its repeated energy absorption performance.
