"The Introduction to Postgraduate Education Discipline and its degree Basic Requirements (Trial Version)" which issued at the beginning of 2024 have added Chinese creative writing as a second-level discipline under the first-level discipline of Chinese Language and Literature. It marks the stage achievements of the localization construction of Chinese creative writing after 15 years. The main goal of Chinese creative writing is to cultivate students' Chinese writing ability, with specific goals in three aspects: low-level, high-level and academic. To achieve these goals, the "four combinations" should be realized, namely the combination of Chinese professional education nourishment and general education cultivation, the combination of creativity stimulation, cultivation and expansion and creative thinking training, the combination of separate specialized teaching and high-intensity writing training, and the combination of in-class teaching and extensive social practice of writing. In order to promote the new development of Chinese creative writing in the new era and new stage, it is necessary to build quality teaching resources for the cultivation of Chinese creative writing talents, establish the admission conditions, training system and degree standards that meet the requirements of master and doctoral level, accelerate the breakthrough of professional degree education on the basis of academic talent training, and return to and realize the original intention of literary education and literary life with the help of creative writing. This article describes the care experience of a case of end stage renal disease in which the patient was unable to cope with the progression of the disease and caused spiritual distress. The nursing care period is from January 24 to February 23, 2021. Patient data was collected using physical, psychological, spiritual and social assessments, through direct care, medical records and interviews. The identified health issues were ineffective airway clearance, compromised skin integrity, and spiritual distress. Physiological problems were treated with nursing measures such as oral care, chest physiotherapy care, keeping the skin dry, and choosing an appropriate wound dressing method. The case effectively eliminated sputum, and there was no new sign of infection in the pressure injury wound. In terms of psychological problems, interprofessional collaborative practice provided psychological support and spiritual comfort, and guided the patient to participate in medical decisions and end-of-life discussions, conduct life reviews, build self-worth, and achieve the goal of spiritual wellness. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in courses on hospice care and advance care planning to enhance the sensitivity and communication skills of clinical care in this kind of case. China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment pointed out that during the period of the 14th Five-Year Plan, local governments should make a breakthrough in goal-setting for water environment governance and promote scientific and reasonable evolution of the goals. As collaborative governance is gradually becoming the primary model for local governments to deal with water environment problems, it is necessary and meaningful to analyze the evolution of the goals of collaborative governance. However, existing research on such goals focuses on exploring their structural classifications, making it difficult to effectively explain how these goals have evolved. Based on the above consideration, this study systematically described the microscopic process of the evolution of the goals of collaborative governance in the governance of Nanming River and Qilu Lake during the period of the Central Environmental Protection Inspectorate. A case study was used to explore how intractable issues, external pressures, collaborative processes, and interim performance affected the evolution of these goals and why there were differences in the evolution of them. The findings suggested that: (J) The evolution of the goals of collaborative governance was a process involving the setting, adaptation, strengthening, and reshaping of the goals, in which intractable issues and external pressures drove the setting and reshaping of collaborative goals, and collaborative processes and interim performance drove the adaptation and strengthening of individual goals. © The consistency of individual goals and collaboration goals influenced the evolution direction of these goals, and the external feedback of interim performance ultimately determined the differences. © The unique characteristics of the evolution of the goals of collaborative governance in the Chinese context were identified as the differentiated matching of control and responsiveness and the embedment of institutional scenarios in the evolution of goals. This study provides a procedural perspective on the management of the goals of collaborative governance, identifies the key influencing factors that affect these goals, and provides policy guidance for local governments to promote their evolution. According to statistics, the output of biomedical waste in the ICU of our hospital was 2.98 kg/person/day, the highest in the past three years, an increase of 11.48% compared with the total output in 2019. Therefore, a task force was established to reduce the output of medical waste in the ICU from 2.98 kg/person/day to 2.89 kg/person/day. The analysis showed the main reasons for the high waste figures were: low recognition accuracy of medical waste, low accuracy of classification behavior, high water content of waste, and fuzzy classification and labeling pictures. After discussion with the cross-departmental team, the project implemented multimedia medical waste education training courses and water reduction teaching videos, produced waste classification pictures, posted environmental protection reminders, and set up environmental protection leaders. After the implementation of the project, the results showed that the output of medical waste in the intensive care unit was reduced to 2.62Kg/person/ day, while the recognition accuracy rate of medical waste classification increased to 85.3%, and the correct rate of classification behavior increased to 95%. These changes achieved the reduction of medical waste in the intensive care unit and the goal of reducing processing costs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As Taiwan heads steadily toward becoming a super-aged society, the impact of aging on society at large will become increasingly extensive and intense. Therefore, establishing an age-friendly environment in Taiwan is an important issue for the government. Feasible guidelines for age-friendly communities are necessary to ensure that appropriate social welfare measures are enacted to achieve the national goal of aging in place. The first draft of the guideline questionnaire was developed based on the World Health Organization Guidelines for Age-Friendly Cities, a literature review, and input from seven experts on aging. Three rounds of questionnaire surveys were then conducted to assess the correctness, appropriateness, and importance of the guidelines, with amendments, additions, and deletions made based on the experts' responses until they all expressed a high degree of satisfaction with all of the guidelines. The Taiwan Age-friendly Community Guidelines document discussed in this article includes 38 guidelines that address the eight facets of "outdoor spaces and buildings", "transportation", "housing", "social participation", "respect and social inclusion", "civil participation and employment", "communication and information", and "community support and health services". The guidelines document describes in detail the goals of age-friendly communities in specific and easy-to-understand terms. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on society, especially in densely populated areas. Schools have implemented distance learning, which has spawned many related problems. This paper focuses on the difficulties arising from the epidemic in indigenous communities and how appropriate information strategies may be used to solve these. Four main suggestions are provided to assist indigenous students and their teachers to protect themselves and learn during the pandemic and to ensure that educational goals are achieved. The thinking direction of the ideological education in PE course is now changing from "flood irrigation" to "accurate drip irrigation", hence this direction and advancement pathway generated from mentioned above constitutes the important content to form the practice system of the ideological education in PE course. A multi- dimensional examination of the problems of "flood irrigation" in the process of ideological education in PE teaching is conducted. It is found that its education elements of objectives, content, methods and resources were not accurately positioned, nor corresponding to the specific links of PE teaching. In order to adjust the thinking of ideological education to the dimension of "accurate drip irrigation", systematic, professional and flexible construction should be highlighted with diversity and accuracy; in the meanwhile, the thinking pattern of "flood irrigation" in goal setting, resource acquisition, mode construction, supervision and evaluation should be smashed. By the advancement pathway of sorting management, learning-thinking connection, resource sharing and taking measures on demand in PE teaching practice, the ideological resources and materials can well be integrated in PE teaching. In response to the current need for intelligent optimization of dredging production efficiency in the cutter suction dredger dredging control system, an intelligent self-optimization method for the construction parameters of a cutter suction dredger based on reinforcement learning was proposed. Firstly, the control variables in the construction process were selected by using the method of information gain rate to form a multiple training data set, and then a reinforcement learning environment model that includes continuous action space, state transition, and reward and punishment functions was established. The agent executes instructions and feedback state information according to the random actions given by the algorithm, gradually obtain the optimal strategy through interactive learning with the environment, and realize the self-optimization of dredging parameters of the cutter suction dredger. Simulation experiments were carried out using data collected from real ships, and the results show that the self-optimization method of dredging parameters based on reinforcement learning can quickly and effectively learn and achieve goals under uncertain environmental conditions, which proves the rationality and effectiveness of this method. Background & Problems: Taiwan entered the community transmission stage of COVID-19 in May 2021, with numbers of locally confirmed cases and critical cases increasing sharply. Medical institutions deployed special units to treat patients. In our hospital, a special COVID-19 intensive care units staffed with nursing personnel across various specialties was established. The rate of COVID-19 critical care completion among nurses in this unit was 79.1%. The reasons for non-completion were found to include limited intensive care standards for COVID-19; inadequate training, teaching aids, and practice manuals; and the overwhelming amount of new COVID-19-related information and updates. Purpose: The aim of this project was to increase the team's COVID-19 critical care completion rate from 79.1% to 93.5%. Resolutions: Multiple strategies were implemented, including: (1) providing online education and training, (2) establishing a platform for sharing COVID-19-related updates, (3) creating a QR-code accessible COVID-19 reference database, (4) creating a COVID-19 practice manual, and (5) providing simulation training sessions on wearing personal protective equipment during critical care. Results: The critical-care completion rate for patients with COVID-19 infection increased significantly in this unit from 79.1% to 98.2%, which exceeded the project goal. Conclusions: Implementing a multi-strategy intervention that includes both online and simulation training may be effective in improving the critical care completion rate for patients with COVID-19 infection. The Ministry of Education launched the University Social Responsibility (USR) Program in 2018. Since then, universities have actively promoted inter-disciplinary cooperation and implemented highend knowledge to meet community needs. Universities are using social responsibility to enhance the level of social participation engaged in by their students to achieve the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. The aim of this paper was to share the experience of the Taipei Medical University (TMU) system in practicing social responsibility by integrating TMU resources with those of TMU-affiliated hospitals. The USR program at Taipei Medical University promotes the reform of school governance through encouraging university faculties to collaborate with hospital physicians to develop a specific curriculum that implements an innovative social-prescribing model. This curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for students to step out the classroom and into the community. Through clinical observations, home visits, and community service, students gain a deep understanding of community health issues from residents in the surrounding neighborhoods. Medical humanities education is achieved through students' involvement in both patient individual care and community health issues. In addition, faculties guide students in reflective learning from holistic healthcare perspectives. Students are encouraged to use evidence-based methods to develop innovative models of care in the community. Medical staff participation in this program helps ensure that social prescribing to community residents accurately reflects professional assessments. These prescriptions refer patients to local health promotion units involved in community collaboration. The medical university students build a bridge between the medical system and the community to implement the goals of health education. The impact of social prescribing on the social determinants of health is known to be significantly greater than that of medicine prescriptions. The expected outcomes of this project are to reduce the health inequalities experienced by vulnerable groups in the community and to share Taiwan's experiences with the academic community worldwide. The structural relationship between the cause (teacher belief) and effect (creative teaching belief) variables of achievement goals is discussed in this study. The relationship is further integrated to understand the mediating role of achievement goals in teacher belief and creative teaching belief. Both achievement goals and creative teaching belief are time-varying factors, while teacher belief is set the time-invariant factor. 233 student teachers for elementary schools, as the research samples, are preceded four-time survey for the analysis with multivariate latent growth models (MLGM). The analysis results reveal that teacher belief would affect the growth slope of achievement goals and the initial state and growth rate of achievement goals would affect the initial state and growth rate of creative teaching belief. Most importantly, student teachers' teacher belief is mediated by the slope of achievement goals to positively and indirectly affect the initial state of creative teaching belief as well as negatively and indirectly affect the growth rate of creative teaching belief. In the past, few studies have explored the dynamic development trend of achievement goals and creative teaching beliefs from the perspective of longitudinal analysis, which shows the value of this research. More importantly, this research is based on a complete achievement goal framework, with teacher beliefs as antecedent variables, creative teaching beliefs as consequence variables, and a longitudinal research design, hoping to fully test the theoretical framework of achievement goals. This research puts forward specific suggestions for teachers and students' beliefs in creative teaching. It is believed that efforts should be made to alleviate the decline in achievement goals, and it can also further promote the growth of creative teaching beliefs. Regarding the recommendations for the dynamic development of achievement goals, this study believes that the mastery trend, performance trend, and task trend are all very important, and their impact on the achievement goal is very significant. Spatial layout of rural settlements can greatly contributed to steadily promoting rural revitalization and village management in recent years. Taking “development” and “shrewd shrinkage” as the research directions, this study aims to classify the two-level village for the layout optimization with differentiated objectives. First, the Bourdieu's capital (accumulated labor) theory was applied at the administrative village level, and then the resilience theory at the natural village level, leading to a two-level village classification and spatial layout. Taking Suiyang District, Shangqiu City, Henan Province, China as an example, the village development capital evaluation and Pajek complex social network were constructed to form the administrative village type, according to the “development” goal under Bourdieu's capital theory, whereas, the resilience index was optimized for the interior of natural villages at the natural village level, particularly with the goal of “shrewd contraction”. Finally, the differentiated objectives at the administrative and natural villages were proposed for the targeted revitalization strategies. The results show that: 1) In “development” goal orientation, the villages were divided into 24 urban-suburban integration, 84 agglomeration and upgrading, 195 remediation and improvement, as well as 8 characteristic protection types at the administrative village level. Among them, the capital evaluation was made in the descending order of 23, 80 and 200 villages, according to the Bourdieu's capital theory. The villages were divided into 24 central level I, 89 central level II, and 190 central level III villages, according to the complex social network of Pajek. Then, the combination matrix was superimposed to obtain the classification of administrative villages. 2) An optimal resilience evaluation of natural villages was constructed to form a key village within each administrative village at the natural village level under the “shrewd shrinkage” goal. There were 303 key villages and 582 demolition villages, indicating a shrewd shrinkage. 3) A differentiated optimization strategy was established for the two levels of administrative and natural villages. At the administrative village level, the integrated urban-suburban villages can be “partially developed in groups to promote the expansion of townships”. The Agglomeration and upgrading villages can “make up for the shortcomings of facilities and form service nodes”. The renovation and improvement villages can “renovate the living environment and enhance the appearance of the village”, whereas, the characteristic protected villages can “retain the characteristics to enhance the reputation, and transportation”. At the natural village level, the investment in facilities can be weakened in the demolition villages to guide the central migration. The finding can provide a strong reference to classify and optimize the reconstruction of the layout of villages and towns, further promoting the rural revitalization and land improvement for sustainable agricultural development. Sustainable Intensification of Cultivated Land Use (SICLU) has been an effective tool to optimize the patterns of agricultural system. A tradeoff can be made for the contradiction between growing food demand and environmental resource constraints, further to realize the green transition of regional cultivated land use, according to the local conditions. The farming households have been one of the most important micro-socio-economic subjects, particularly for the independent decision-making unit in the cultivated land use. The Farming-Households Livelihood Transition (FHLT) can directly influence the cultivated land use, in terms of the contradiction between population, economy, resources, and environment. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify the correlation and mutual feedback between SICLU and FHLT under the background of the “new agriculture, rural areas and farmers”. In this study, four aspects of SICLU were explored from the international concept of Sustainable Intensification (SI), including the ideological origin, conceptual connotation, goal setting, and theoretical deduction. Another four aspects of FHLT were also considered from the micro perspective of farming households, including the livelihood environment, livelihood capital, livelihood strategy, and outcome succession. Then, the mutual relationship between SICLU and FHLT was established to optimize the mode of cultivated land use in agricultural development, further promoting the SICLU transformation from multiple dimensions. The results show that: 1) The SICLU presented five connotations, including intensive management, high efficiency of yield, resource-saving, non-degradation of ecological environment, and social sustainability, indicating the balances and synergies between them. Since the SICLU was closely related to three realistic goals, including ecological, economic, and social benefits, the best compound benefit of cultivated land use was the optimal solution during optimization among the three. 2) The FHLT was originated from the gradual evolution of livelihood environment, capital and strategy. Specifically, the livelihood environment influenced the accumulation of livelihood capital in the early stage, while the livelihood capital influenced the choice of livelihood strategy, and the livelihood strategy determined the direction of livelihood transition. 3) There was a feed-back relationship between SICLU and FHLT, in terms of the cultivated land dependency, land awareness, the level of cultivated land use and behavior response. The external environment and resource endowment of cultivated land dominated the direction of FHLT via the accumulation and survival of farming-households livelihood capital. The FHLT changed the dependence relationship and land consciousness of farming households on the cultivated land, leading to the behavior of cultivated land use, the level of SICLU, the farmers-livelihoods feedback, and the livelihood transformation. Consequently, it is necessary to adopt classified policies to guide farming households of different livelihoods to change their cultivated land use behaviors, optimize livelihood strategies, and comprehensively regulate the sustainable and intensive transition of regional cultivated land use.
