BackgroundPrevious studies have shown that bisphenol A exposure is associated with the risk of hypertension; however, most of them are cross-sectional and the conclusions are not consistent. ObjectiveTo evaluate the association between bisphenol A exposure and the incident risk of hypertension. MethodsBased on a nested case-control design involving 1990 subjects derived from the Dongfeng-Tongji cohort, a total of 1080 subjects were included in this study after excluding 887 hypertensive cases at baseline and 23 subjects with missing blood pressure data in follow-up visits. Epidemiological information was collected through questionnaire survey, and serum bisphenol A concentration was detected by high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the potential association between serum bisphenol A level and the risk of hypertension incidence, and linear regression model was used to analyze the association between serum bisphenol A level and blood pressure changes between baseline and follow-up. ResultsThe average age of the 1 080 participants was (62.03±7.45) years, of which 41.1% were male. During the follow-up period, a total of 477 (44.2%) developed hypertension. The median serum concentration of bisphenol A in the total population was 3.15 μg·L−1, and the baseline bisphenol A concentration in the new case group (3.24 μg·L−1) was higher than that in the control group (2.98 μg·L−1) (P0.05). As one of the most widely used plasticizers, BPA is often used in various types of food packaging. However, the leaching of BPA from food and water and the emission of BPA in the manufacturing process can harm human health. In recent years, carbon-based composites have shown excellent performance in the detection of BPA due to their unique physical and chemical properties. The rapid detection of BPA by electrochemical sensors based on carbon-based composites has become a research hotspot. This article provides an overview of BPA and the application of carbon-based materials modified electrochemical sensors in the detection of BPA, as well as prospects for the development direction of electrochemical detection of BPA.

The consumption of bisphenol A (BPA) in China has been steadily increasing as a popular plastic additive. However, it is also recognized as a typical environmental endocrine disruptor. Even at low concentrations, prolonged exposure to BPA can lead to neurotoxicity, liver toxicity, reproductive toxicity, immunotoxicity and other adverse effects, contributing to various diseases such as diabetes, inflammation, obesity, anxiety, depression and even cancer. In recent years, BPA has been detected in various environmental water bodies in China due to water pollution caused by industrial development and plastic waste discharge. Furthermore, the level of BPA exposure in each water sample varies depending on geographic regions, seasonal temperature variations, and other factors. This paper presents the latest research advancements in understanding the multiple toxic effects and strategies for mitigating the toxicity of BPA. It also provides a comprehensive summary of BPA pollution levels in various environmental water bodies in China over the past decade, along with an analysis and discussion of influencing factors. Bisphenol A (BPA) is one of the highly produced chemicals globally and extensively utilized in the manufacturing of plastic products. However, the widespread application of BPA has led to its frequent detection in aquatic environments, posing potential threats to the health of aquatic organisms. Previous studies have confirmed the reproductive and developmental toxic effects of BPA on various aquatic organisms; however, limited research exists regarding its impact on bivalve shellfish. In this study, clams ( Meretrix petechialis) were exposed to concentrations of 1, 10, and 100 μg·L-1 BPA for 14 d. The filtration rate of gill water and histopathological changes were examined while expression levels of genes in the Nrf2/Keap1 signaling pathway and the enzymatic activity, including the hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA), activities of catalase (CAT), glutathione-S-transferase (GST) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) were analyzed. The results showed that BPA exposure significantly influenced the filtration rate of the clam. BPA induced epithelial cell damage and hyperplasia in the gill tissues of the clam, accompanied by a reduction in cilia and gill filaments. Notably, the gill damage became more pronounced with increasing concentrations of BPA. BPA exposure significantly increased the levels of H2O2 and MDA, and the oxidative stress level was the most obvious under 1 μg·L-1 BPA exposure group. BPA exposure significantly decreased CAT activity in gill tissue, but had no significant effect on SOD activity. 1 μg·L-1 BPA exposure resulted in a significant increase in GST activity. In addition, the gene expression levels of Nrf2, Keap1, cat, and tnf-α in the gill tissue of clams were inhibited by 1 μg·L-1 BPA exposure. However, it is worth noting that catgene expression was upregulated specifically under 10 μg·L-1 BPA exposure. Under UV irradiation conditions, bisphenol A (BPA) was used as a model compound to study the composite effects of representative soluble components humic acid ( HA), Fe 3 +, and Cl - on the photolysis of BPA in the aqueous environment using response surface methodology ( RSM) . Results show that HA and Fe 3 + are the significant factors affecting the photodegradation of BPA, followed by NO - 3 and Cl - . HA, NO - 3 and Cl - significantly inhibits the photolysis of BPA, while Fe 3 + promotes it (P < 0. 05) . When HA, Fe 3 +, NO - 3 and Cl - co-exists in the water environment, an interaction on the photolysis of BPA is established. As significant factors, the combination of Fe 3 + and Cl - or HA respectively inhibits the photodegradation of BPA, while the coexistence of HA-Cl - or HA-NO - 3 shows promoting effect. As non-significant factors, there are antagonistic effects between NO - 3 and Fe 3 + or between NO - 3 and Cl - . Radical scavenging experiments unveils that the most important factor HA on BPA photodegradation is mainly attributed to triplet-excited DOM. The predicted value of the model obtained from the natural water sample is in good agreement with the experimental value, indicating that the model can be used to estimate the photolysis of BPA in the natural water sample used, but it also has certain limitations. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disease characterized by hyperandrogenic phenotype in women of reproductive age. The pathogenesis of PCOS remains unclear, and androgen is now thought to have an essential impact on the pathogenesis of PCOS. Bisphenol A (BPA), an environmental endocrine disruptor, can increase the relevant androgen synthetase and induce PCOS through excessive androgen exposure. Studies have shown that BPA exposure can inhibit the activity of aromatase, prevent the binding of androgen and receptor, thus inducing hyperandrogenemia. BPA can also regulate the ovarian function of PCOS through oxidative stress, estrogen-related pathways, hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, regulation of obesity and insulin resistance, and other routes. This article aims to review the neuroendocrine mechanism and related signal pathways of BPA-induced PCOS by regulating hyperandrogen, clarify the specific biological functions of BPA and provide a reference for follow-up research. In order to efficiently degrade organic pollutants in the water environment, poly（heptazine） structured K intercalated carbon nitride （CN-K） was prepared using KCl and NH4Cl as structural inducers. The prepared CN-K was characterized by transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）and so on. The prepared CN-K can be applied as an efficient photocatalyst for the visible-light photocatalytic degradation of endocrine disruptor bisphenol A （BPA）. The CN-K possessed 4 times enhancement photocatalytic performance than bulk g-C3N4, where the degradation ratio of BPA were 99.0% under light irradiation for 20 min. Owing to the K+ uniformly distributed in CN-K, crystalline structure endows the ordered electronic transmission channels in CN-K, thus enhanced the efficiency of photo induced charge carriers separation and migration, as well as visible light capture. In addition, this heterogeneous catalyst can be recycled at least five times and the recovered CN-K after the final cycle displayed unchanged photocatalytic degradation efficiency, demonstrating its excellent stability and outstanding reusability. 2, 6-monosubstituted aromatic phenolic resin (IPD-BPA-TPD) was prepared by microwave-assisted method using bisphenol A (BPA), terephthalaldehyde (TPD) and isophthalaldehyde (IPD) as co-condensation monomers based on an open system and solution polycondensation method. A reversible thermochromic nickel-based butadiene rubber film was prepared using resin as a chromogenic agent. The resin was tested by a gel permeation chromatograph, a nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectrometer, a nuclear magnetic resonance carbon spectrometer, a thermogravimetric analyzer and a thermal analyzer. The composite film was tested by a thermogravimetric analyzer, a thermal analyzer, a spectrophotometer and a polarizing microscope. The thermochromic properties, thermal stability, thermal cycle stability and microstructure of the film were studied. The results show that the Mn of IPD-BPA-TPD is 1.133x10³ g/mol, the PDI is 1.005. The total color difference ΔE of the composite film reaches about 90 in the low temperature section (12~38 °C) of the constant-rate cooling phase transition, and the absorption/scattering color depth difference Δ (K/S) reach about 15 and 40 in the visible regions of 480~600 nm and 600~660 nm, and film has good thermal stability and thermal cycle stability. As an industrial chemical， bisphenol A is widely used in various food packaging materials. However， it is an endocrine disrupting chemical， which has estrogen activity and can cause certain damage to humans. So far， there are few studies on the detection of bisphenol A in self-heating food packaging materials， and there remains a lack of relevant standard. Therefore， it is necessary to establish a simple， sensitive and efficient method for the detection of bisphenol A in self-heating food. This study briefly introduces the pretreatment methods of bisphenol A， such as ultrasonic extraction， solid phase extraction， accelerated solvent extraction， and detection methods， such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry， high performance liquid chromatography， fluorescent detection， and electrochemical detection.

In this study, sycamore was used as biomass and urea was used as precursor to prepare N-doped biochar (NCX, X represented temperature) containing different active components at designed pyrolysis temperatures (400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 °C). The different activation mechanisms of PMS and PDS were discussed in depth for the first time through N-doped biochar at different pyrolysis temperatures. In the PMS+NCX system, NC500 at lower preparation temperature showed excellent catalytic performance for bisphenol A (BPA) removal, while in the PDS+NCX system, the catalytic performance of NCX catalyst increased gradually with the increasing of temperature. The chemical quenching experiment, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and nitrotetrazolium blue chloride (NBT) test were conducted to clarify the crucial reactive oxidative species (ROS). The ¹O2 and O2•- dominated radical degradation pathway in the PMS+NC500 system and O2•-- was the main ROS species reigned radical degradation pathway in the PDS+NC900 system were revealed. Electrochemical tests included chronoamperometry, linear sweep voltammograms (LSV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) demonstrated the existence of non-free radical pathways (electron transfer) in the degradation of BPA in both systems. Objective: To discuss the effect of Sirtuins（Sirt) protein family on the male reproductive system damage cell and animal models induced by bisphenol A (BPA), and to clarify its effect on the male reproductive system damage induced by BPA. Methods: Forty Kunming mice were randomly divided into control group, low dose of BPA group (given 3 mg·kg-1·d-1 BPA), medium dose of BPA group (given 30 mg·kg-1·d-1 BPA), and high dose of BPA group (given 300 mg · kg-1·d-1 BPA), and there were 10 mice in each group. The mice in low, medium, and high doses of BPA groups were gavaged with corn oil (0.01 mL·g-1) mixed with corresponding concentrations of BPA, while the mice in control group were given 0.01 mL·g-1 corn oil. After 5 weeks, the body weights, testis indexes, and epididymal indexes of the mice in various groups were detected； the sperm qualities of the mice in various groups were detected by using computer assisted semen analysis (CASA) system； the morphology of testis tissue of the mice in various groups was observed by HE staining； the expression levels of Sirt1-Sirt7 proteins in testis tissue of the mice in various groups were detected by Western blotting method. The GC-2 cells were divided into 0, 20, 40, and 80 μmol·L-1 BPA groups (treated with 0, 20, 40, and 80 μmol·L-1 BPA).The proliferation rates of the GC-2 cells in various groups were detected by EdU staining； the percentages of the GC-2 cells at different cell cycles and the apoptotic rates of GC-2 cells in various groups were detected by flow cytometry；the expression levels of Sirt1-Sirt7 proteins in the GC-2 cells in various groups were detected by Western blotting method. Results: Compared with control group, the testis index of the mice in high dose of BPA group was decreased (P<0.05); compared with control group, the percentage of immobile sperm of the mice in high dose of BPA group was increased (P<0.01), the percentage of rapid progressive sperm was decreased (P<0.01), the percentage of medium progressive sperm was decreased (P<0.05), and the deformity rate of the sperm was increased (P<0.01).The HE staining results showed that the number of spermatogenic cells at all levels in the seminiferous tubules of the mice in different doses of BPA groups showed a decreasing and loosely arranged trend. Compared with control group, the expression level of Sirt6 protein in testis tissue of the mice in low dose of BPA group was decreased (P<0.01), while the expression levels of Sirt1, Sirt2, and Sirt6 proteins in testis tissue of the mice in medium dose of BPA group mice were decreased (P<0.01), the expression levels of Sirt1, Sirt2, Sirt3, Sirt4, Sirt5, Sirt6, and Sirt7 proteins in testis tissue of the mice in high dose of BPA group were decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The EdU staining results showed that compared with 0 μ mol·L-1 BPA group, the proliferation rates of the GC-2 cells in 20, 40, and 80 μmol·L-1 BPA groups were decreased (P<0.01). The flow cytometry results showed that after treated for 48 h, compared with 0 μmol·L-1 BPA group, the apoptotic rates of the GC-2 cells in 20, 40, and 80 μmol·L-1 BPA groups were increased (P<0.01). The Western blotting assay results showed that after treated for 24 h, compared with 0 μmol·L-1 BPA group, the expression levels of Sirt4 and Sirt7 proteins in GC-2 cells of the mice in 20 μmol·L-1 BPA group were decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01), while the expression levels of Sirt4 and Sirt7 proteins in GC-2 cells of the mice in 80 μmol·L-1 BPA group decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01).After treated for 48 h, compared with 0 μmol·L-1 BPA group, the expression levels of Sirt2, Sirt3, Sirt4, and Sirt6 proteins in GC-2 cells of the mice in 20 μmol·L-1 BPA group were decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01), while the expression levels of Sirt1, Sirt2, Sirt3, Sirt4, and Sirt6 proteins in GC-2 cells of the mice in 40 μmol·L-1 BPA group were significantly decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and the expression levels of Sirt 5 and Sirt 6 proteins were decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion: The expression levels of Sirt1-Sirt7 proteins in the male reproductive injury cells and animal models induced by BPA are decreased, which exacerbates the male reproductive system damage induced by BPA. Objective： A method based on high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry was developed for the simultaneous determination of bisphenol A and nonylphenol in food packaging material. Methods: The extraction solvent and extraction method were investigated. Solid-phase extraction （SPE） conditions were optimized. The effects of solid phase extraction column, loading solvent, eluting solvent and elution solvent on the purification effect were systematically analyzed. The samples were ultrasonic extracted with dichloromethaneand cleaned up on a solid-phase extraction （SPE） cartridge equipped with packing material of silicone. The separation was performed on a Venusil MP C18（2）（100 mm×2.1 mm,2.6 μm）by gradient elution with 0.1% ammonia solution and methanol as mobile phase. The analytes were determined with multiple reaction monitoring （MRM） mode under electrospray negative ionization mode and quantified by an internal standard method. Results: The results indicated that good linearities was obtained for bisphenol A and nonylphenol both within the concentration range of 1.0~200.0 μg/L. The average recoveries of each analyte at three spiked levels of 1.0, 10.0, 200.0 μg/kg were in the range of 89.2%~101.2%, with relative standard deviations （RSD） of 3.1%~6.2%. The limits of detection （LODs） and limits of quantification （LOQs） were 0.5 μg/kg and 1.0 μg/kg, respectively. Conclusion: The method was proved to be a simple, accurate and sensitive method and was successfully applied to detect bisphenol A and nonylphenol in food packaging material. It can also provide reference for the determination of bisphenol A and nonylphenol in food.

Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) are exogenous compounds, which can interfere with the hormones action and endocrine pathways, affect the development of female reproductive system and ovarian function, and therefore EDCs are associated with female infertility. Current research mainly focus on EDC exposure and its correlation with the different diseases of the endocrine axes. Studies have shown that EDCs affect female fertility by causing ovarian dysfunction, follicular development abnormality, endometrial receptivity reduction, and embryo quality decline, as well as the lowed clinical outcome of assisted reproduction in infertile women. Accumulating evidence in animal studies has provided important insights into the mechanism of EDC effects. This review summarizes some of the most common EDCs including pesticides, bisphenol A and phthalates, and the effects of EDCs on female fertility and clinical outcomes of assisted reproductive technology. The degradation efficiency of bisphenol A (BPA) in aqueous solution was investigated in UV 254 nm combined with potassium ferrate [ UV/Fe(VI) ] process・ The main active components for BPA oxidation were identified, and the possible degradation pathways of BPA were also proposed・ The results showed that the synergistic degradation of BPA in UV/Fe(VI) process followed the pseudo second-order kinetics, and its degradation rate was enhanced by 98. 94% and 67. 17% compared with single UV and Fe(VI), respectively・ The removal rate of BPA reached 91 ・ 46% when the BPA concentration was 220 |jimol/L, Fe(VI) concentration was 50 |jimol/L, the system temperature was 25 °C and pH 6. creasing temperature and pH, the presence of humic acid and CO| can enhance the degradation efficiency. A thermotropic liquid crystalline polyarylate (TLCP-BP) composed of p-hydroxybenzoic acid (HBA), terephthalic acid (TA), hydroquinone (BP) and 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid (NDA) with excellent processability and heat resistance was synthesized by one-step melt polycondensation. With rational design of regulatory molecular chain structure, TLCP-HDPSO was synthesized by replacing the linear bisphenol monomer BP in the main chain HBA/BP/TA/NDA with the nonlinear bisphenol monomer 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone (HDPSO). The thermal properties of TLCP were characterized by thermogravimetric analyzer, differential scanning calorimeter and dynamic thermomechanical analyzer. The crystallinity, liquid crystal phase behavior and rheological behavior of TLCP were studied by wide-angle X-ray diffraction, hot stage polarization optical microscope and rheometer. The results show that TLCP-BP has a single-phase structure with high tg (270 °C), high thermal stability td,5% (507 °C), typical nematic liquid crystal schlieren texture (tK-N =350 °C) and typical TLCP fiber morphology. The TLCP-HDPSO shows weak liquid crystal phase and there is no phase separation on the mesoscopic scale. The introduction of nonlinear bisphenol monomer affects the regularity and segment distribution of molecular chain. The morphology of TLCP copolymer is much better than that of the blend. To investigate the pollution caused by microplastics (MPs) in agricultural systems and their possible mechanisms of action, the distribution characteristics of MPs in the surface soils of 56 sites in paddy fields of three towns in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, China, were determined. Fourteen sites were randomly selected to collect rice grains after harvest. The effect of MPs on the migration of bisphenol A (BPA) and cadmium (Cd) from soil to rice grains were analyzed. Four forms of aging MPs were detected in soils：films, particles, fragments, and fibers. The abundance of MPs in the three towns was similar, ranging from 48 items·kg-1 to 1 771 items·kg-1 ; the main components were polyethylene (PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), accounting for 46.77% and 24.19%, respectively, and the content of polycarbonate (PC) was significantly lower than that of ethylene terephthalate (PET) (2.51 μg·kg-1 and 113.35 μg·kg-1, respectively) . BPA in depolymerized soils showed a more significant positive correlation with the content of BPA in rice grains than in un-depolymerized soils (P<0.01), indicating a potential risk of secondary release of BPA during the aging of MPs in the environment. In addition, the Cd content in soils also exhibited a significant positive correlation (P<0.001) with the abundance of MPs, promoting the transformation of Cd from soils to rice grains. BackgroundLipid metabolism in liver shows circadian-dependent profiles. The hepatotoxicity of environmental chemicals is dependent on circadian time. ObjectiveTo observe the effects of bisphenol A (BPA) exposure at different zeitgeber time (ZT) on hepatic and blood lipid metabolism and decipher the underlying mechanisms related to circadian rhythm in mice. MethodsThirty-five female C57BL/6J mice were sacrificed every 4 h in a light-dark cycle (12 h/12 h). The liver tissues were collected to describe the circadian profiles of hepatic Rev-erba, Bmal1, Clock, Srebp1c, and Chrebp mRNA expression levels within 24 h. Thirty female mice were divided into 6 groups by the timing (ZT3 represents the 3 h after light on, ZT15 represents the 3 h after light off) and dose (50 or 500 μg·kg−1·d−1) of BPA exposure to observe hepatotoxicity. Mice were gavaged with designed doses of BPA once per day for 4 weeks. Mice were maintained with ad libitum access to food and water and measured body weight weekly. After the experiment, mice were euthanatized and liver tissues were separated to determine the biochemical indicators of lipid metabolism and lipid metabolism- and circadian-related gene mRNA expressions. ResultsHepatic Rev-erba, Bmal1, Clock, Srebp1c, and Chrebp mRNA expression levels were rhythmic during a 24 h period in mice. At ZT3 and ZT15, BPA did not alter body weight, plasma glucose, plasma total cholesterol, plasma low density lipoprotein cholesterol, and plasma triglycerides (P>0.05). Through the research on the determination of bisphenol A in vegetable oil by high-performance liquid chromatography, this article established the method for determining bisphenol A in vegetable oil. Bisphenol A was extracted with acetonitrile.The extract was purified and eluted by the amino solid-phase extraction column and then concentrated and reconstituted. After filtration, the extract was separated by high-performance liquid chromatography, detected by the fluorescence detector, and quantified by the standard external method. The methodological performance analysis showed that the linear range was 0.003 333~0.666 7 μg/mL, the correlation coefficient (r) of the standard curve is greater than 0.999, the detection limit of the method is 0.007 mg/kg, see the quantification limit was 0.013 mg/kg, the recoveries ranged from 90.8% to 103.2%, and the coefficient of variation of seven replicate assays was 2.8%. It was verified that the method had good linearity, high sensitivity, good repeatability, accurate and reliable results, and could meet the requirements of GB/T 27417—2017, providing a technical basis for the scientific evaluation of the content of bisphenol A in vegetable oil.

ObjectiveTo infer the relationship between bisphenol A （BPA） exposure and adverse health effects in humans， the human epidemiological data of BPA was evaluated by the weight of evidence approach.MethodsBased on the weight of evidence approach， the human epidemiological research articles on BPA published between 2013 and 2020 were systematically searched， screened and classified. The selected articles were evaluated following the guidelines of evaluating the relevance and reliability of toxicological data developed by the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment. The hazard assessment was performed based on different endpoints.ResultsA total of 188 papers were obtained screening from 134 897 records， of which 68 papers were evaluated as “A/B” or “B” in terms of relevance， and the rest were evaluated as “C”. Only the studies with the relevance evaluation grade of “A/B” or “B” were evaluated for reliability， of which 6 studies were evaluated as “high” reliability and 62 studies were evaluated as “medium” reliability. The endpoints of toxicological effects should include metabolic， reproductive and developmental， neurological， immunological and cardiovascular effects. However， the effect indicators across studies lacked consistency due to study population， exposure duration and indicator design.ConclusionBased on the available evidence of human epidemiological data， the relationship between BPA exposure and adverse health effects in humans is not yet clear.

[Objective] Bisphenol compounds of different origins have been found in many terrestrial ecosystems in across China. Their accurate detection is a key to mitigating their impact on the environment. In this paper, we present an improved method to reliably detect BPs in water and sediment in irrigation districts. [Method] A high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence (HPLC-FLD) method was established for simultaneously measuring three types of bisphenol compounds. Suitable pre-treatment method for detecting these compounds was selected from the filtration method and centrifugation method by comparing their efficiency. The tested method was then used to analyze main bisphenol compounds in water and sediment samples taken from vegetable and paddy fields. [Result] The HPLC-FLD can detect BPS when its concentration is not lower than 0.2 µg/L, while for BPF and BPA, the method can detect them when their concentrations are as low as 0.2 µg/L. The centrifugation method can recover 76.69% to 99.03% of the water from the samples, and the detection rate for BPF in ditch water and sediment is 100% and 88.89%, respectively. The greatest BPs concentration the method can detect is 1.45 µg/L for water samples and 587.4 µg/kg for sediment samples. The contents of BPF, BPA and BPS in the sediment samples are 962.95 times, 871.82 times and 72.81 times those in the water samples, respectively. [Conclusion] The centrifugation method works better for pretreating the samples. BPF is the main BPs detected in water and sediment samples taken from the vegetable and paddy fields. The basic reviewed the research status of different types of metal catalysts, such as transition metal ions, zero-valent metals and bimetals, activated PMS/PDS for the degradation of bisphenol A(BPA), and also discussed the degradation mechanism of BPA removal by bimetallic catalyst. These include synergy between bimetals, and the important role of oxygen vacancies and surface hydroxyl radical. The paper analyzed the influencing factors in the activation process, water matrix conditions, reusability and stability of the catalyst. Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) are a class of RNA transcripts with a length greater than 200 nucleotides that generally have no or limited protein-coding capacity. They exist widely in eukaryotes and participate in epigenetic regulation, growth and development, immune response, metabolism and other life activities, and have become a new research hotspot in the field of life science in recent years. With a deepening understanding of the toxicological mechanisms of environmental pollutants, increasing evidence indicates that LncRNAs may play an important role in mediating the toxic effects of these pollutants. This review first briefly introduces the classification and biological functions of LncRNAs, and then focuses on the research progress of LncRNAs involved in stress responses to different types of environmental pollutants, including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, poly brominated diphenyl ethers, benzene and bisphenols, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, pharmaceuticals and personal care products, pesticides, heavy metals, nanomaterials and PM2.5 . Finally, the future development direction of LncRNAs in the field of toxicology is prospected. Environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals are a kind of exogenous chemicals that generally exist in the environment, and can disturb the endocrine homeostasis and adversely affect reproductive, immune, neurological, and other functions after entering the body, among which the damage to the reproductive system is the most significant one. Studies have confirmed that the long-term exposure to environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals have irreversible and harmful effects on primordial germ cell growth, reproductive organ development, and reproductive endocrine regulation, and also have obvious correlations with the occurrence and development of various reproductive system tumors. This paper reviewed various reproductive toxicities induced by common environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals in the developmental and reproductive stages, and associated mechanisms involved in the occurrence and development of reproductive system tumors.

Objective To investigate the effects of 50-Hz magnetic field and bisphenol A (BPA) alone or combined exposure on the phosphorylation of Tau protein in nerve cells. Methods A total of 24 SD male rats (body weight 150±10 g) were randomly and equally divided into 4 groups: control group (normal saline gavage+magnetic field sham-exposure), 50-Hz magnetic field exposure group (0.5 mT, 50 Hz magnetic field exposure 4 h/d+normal saline gavage), BPA exposure group (BPA 20 μg·kg-1·d-1 gavage+ magnetic field sham-exposure), and combined exposure group (BPA 20 μg·kg-1·d-1 gavage+0.5 mT, 50 Hz magnetic field exposure 4 h/d). The magnetic field exposure was performed once per day, 6 days per week, for consecutive 12 weeks. The protein expression of Tau-Thr231 and Tau-Ser404, as well as cell apoptosis in frozen slices of cerebral cortex and hippocampus were detected by immunohistofluorescence assay and TUNEL assay, respectively. For cell experiments, Neuro-2a cells were exposed to 50 Hz magnetic field (1.0 mT, 48 h), BPA treatment (100 μmol/L, 24 h), as well as combined exposure (50 Hz magnetic field+BPA), respectively. Cell viability was tested by CCK-8 assay, and the protein expression of Tau-Thr231, Tau-Ser404 and Caspase-3 were measured using immunofluorescence assay and Western blotting. Results As compared with the control group, the phosphorylation of Tau-Thr231 was significantly increased in cerebral cortex and hippocampus of rats after 12 weeks of 50 Hz magnetic field exposure (P < 0.05). The Tau-Thr231 phosphorylation in rat cerebral cortex and hippocampus and the Tau-Ser404 phosphorylation in cerebral cortex were remarkably elevated after 12 weeks of BPA exposure alone or in combination with 50 Hz magnetic field (P < 0.05). The co-exposure also induced obvious neuronal apoptosis in cerebral cortex and hippocampus of rats (P < 0.05). For cell experiments, the Neuro-2a cell viability was greatly lowered after exposure to 50 Hz magnetic field, BPA alone or combined treatment for 48 h (P < 0.05). The Tau-Ser404 phosphorylation was notably up-regulated (P < 0.05) after 50 Hz magnetic field exposure; the phosphorylation of Tau-Thr231 and Tau-Ser404, as well as the expression of Caspase-3 were also enhanced (P < 0.05) after BPA exposure or co-exposure. Conclusion Exposure to 50 Hz magnetic field and/or BPA can induce hyperphosphorylation of Tau protein at different amine acid site, and there are synergistic effects between the 2 exposures, which may cause nerve cell damage.

Bisphenol A (BPA) as an organic compound widely existing in the environment can interfere with the normal metabolism of the body and participate in the occurrence and development of a variety of diseases. High dose BPA exposure has an acute toxic effect on the reproductive system. Long-term exposure to BPA has more significant damage to the reproductive system, and can even produce intergenerational effects, affecting the growth and development of offspring. BPA damages female reproductive function and reduces female fertility through a variety of mechanisms. Therefore, it is particularly important to develop related drugs to alleviate this adverse reaction. This paper reviews the effects of BPA on female reproductive system, and introduces the research progress of antioxidants, probiotics, vitamins and traditional Chinese medicine on alleviating the effects of BPA on reproductive system. In order to improve the detection efficiency of harmful substances in the textile production process, this paper applies the compression sensing method to the detection process of harmful substances. The observation matrix is used as the sample mixing scheme, and the detection times that are far less than that of the samples to be tested are obtained through the mixed detection. After the mixed detection is completed, the content of harmful substances in the original samples is reconstructed from the mixed detection values according to the corresponding reconstruction algorithm, and then the number and detection rate of unqualified samples are obtained. Finally, the influence of the mixed detection matrices generated by different parameters on the reconstruction effect is explored by simulation experiments, and it is verified by the real detection project of detecting harmful substances bisphenol A, aromatic amines and formaldehyde in fiber textiles. The verification results show that the mixed sample detection scheme based on compression perception proposed in this paper can not only ensure the accuracy of the detection, but also can reduce the detection cost and improve the detection efficiency. Bisphenol A epoxy resin is a thermoset resin with excellent performance, which is widely used in the fields of coatings, adhesives and composite materials. However, the bisphenol A epoxy resin prepared by the conventional two-step method has high viscosity at room temperature, which limits its application. The ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer was used to monitor the etherification process between bisphenol A (BPA) and epichlorohydrin(ECH) in the two-step method. Then, the ring-closing conditions of the etherized products were optimized. Finally, BPA and ECH with a molar ratio of 1:10 were etherified at 100 °C for 4 hours (catalyzed by benzyltrimethylammonium bromide at 2% BPA mass); Then, the excess ECH was removed, the NaOH solution with concentration of 35% (NaOH/BPA=3: 1) was added dropwise, and the closed-loop reaction was carried out at 70 °C for 6 h to obtain bisphenol A epoxy resin with epoxy value of 0.550 mol/100 g and viscosity of 3.74 Pa·s.
