This fieldwork was conducted in the North of Babil Governorate, Iraq, to test the foliar fertilization influence with nano zinc on growth, yield, and its elements of some faba bean varieties during the 2022/2023 season. The field trial was designed using a split-plot and organized in haphazard complete blocks with triple replications. The study specifies the core plots with the kinds of field beans, i.e., Aquadlge (Turkish origin) V1, Aquaduice a longue cross (American origin) V2, Luz de otono (Spanish origin) V3 and Otono star (Holand origin) V4, and the sub-plots were specified with foliar fertilization with nano zinc (0, 150, and 200 mg L-1). The development of the investigated faba bean types, yield, and components varied significantly, with V3 (Luz de otono, Spanish origin) being the highest character. There was a significant spraying impact with nano zinc levels on growth, yield, and its elements, as the 200mg nano zinc L-1 had the maximum average for these characteristics, with a significant difference from the 150 mg nano zinc L-1 and control treatment. Foliar spraying V3 plants with 200 mg nano zinc L-1 two times is recommended at the first part of the flowering phase, and the second is at the 75% flowering phase in the ecological conditions of the research area.

This article presented the determine of characteristics of the jama' taksir patterns that appear most in the cartoon series and determine how to translate the jama' taksir into Indonesian. This is a qualitative descriptive research. The research data came from sentences or conversations containing the jama' taksir in the Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi cartoon series which consists of 15 episodes. Based on the research, the Jama' qillah pattern أفعال is the most frequently occurring pattern. In the jama' katsrah, the patterns فعول, فعال, فعلاء and أفعلاء often appear. Meanwhile, Shighat muntaha al-jumu' patterns that often appear are مفاعل, فعاليل, and فواعل. The emergence of the jama' taksir that applies to the isim tsulatsi; أفعال, فعول and فعال, are counted more than that, regardless of the genre of the text. It was influenced by the genre of the text. Jama' taksir in this cartoon series was translated into Indonesian with 5 forms, namely: 1) Reduplication, 2) Numeral followed by a singular word, 3) Indefinite numeral followed by a singular word, 4) Singular word preceded by a plural marker and 5) Singular word. The translation of the jama' taksir must follow the grammatical rules of the Indonesian language, for example, the jama' taksir cannot always be translated with repetition. If there is already a plural marker, the jama' taksir is simply translated with the singular form. The results of this study can be used by translators as knowledge when translating jama' taksir and can also be used as reference material in further studies.

The prevalence of type 2 diabetes has doubled in recent years due to a defect in insulin production, which can develop to form diabetes complications that affect the kidneys, nerves, and eyes. As a result, early diagnosis and classification of Type II diabetes are critical to aiding physician assessments. Accordingly, the current study aimed to determine Retinol binding protein 4 (RBP4) levels in patients with T2DM and pre-DM as early predictors for disease cases. The current study included 138 subjects, divided into three groups, on the basis of FBG and HbA1c criteria, including (DM, 46 patients, pre-DM, 46 participants, and healthy subject,46 persons), when they enrolled in the National Diabetes Center- Al-Mustansiriya University. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) were used to detect the levels of Retinol Binding Protein 4 and Insulin, and spectrophotometric techniques were used to determine the levels of FBG and lipid profile. Retinol binding protein 4 results revealed significant differences (P≤0.0001) among the studied groups. Also, the insulin results showed significant differences (P≤0.0001) between the diabetic and control groups. The results of HOMA-IR showed significant differences (P≤0.0001). It also showed a lipid profile significant effect (P≤0.0022), (P≤0.0001), (P≤ 0.050) between the studied groups, except HDL that showed no significant difference(P≤.0.148). In conclusion, retinol-binding protein 4 can serve as an early indicator of T2DM, and this conclusion can be reinforced by the results of the ROC analysis, which indicated that Retinol binding protein 4 is an excellent indicator for diagnosis of the studied condition.

The main objective of this work is to investigate numerically double-diffusive mixed convection flow in a channel filled with a hybrid nanofluid of Cu-Al2O3 in a porous media. It is considered that the cavity's left wall is continuously heated. The fluid flow enters the channel at low concentration and temperature. This work has been looked into two cases: Case 1, where it is supposed that the left wall cavity has high concentrations, and Case 2, where it is expected that the right wall cavity has high concentrations. The cavity's remaining walls are impermeable and thermally insulated. Non-dimension governing equations are solved with the finite element method. Parameters effects of Reynolds number(10≤Re≤100), Richardson number (2≤Ri≤10), Darcy number (Da=10-2,10-4), Lewis number (1≤Le≤5), buoyancy ratio, N=1, the solid volume fraction (ϕ=0.02), and Prandtl number (Pr=6.2). The results show that increasing Reynolds, Richardson, and Darcy numbers increases the average Nusselt while it decreases by increasing Lewis number. In addition, Sherwood numbers increase with increasing Reynolds, Lewis, and Darcy numbers while they decrease with Richardson numbers for both cases. When the Reynolds number increases from 10 to 50 at (Da=10-4) and (Ri =10), the Nusselt number increases by 102%, while the Sherwood number decreases to 72%.

In recent years, the growing interest in automatic speech recognition (ASR) has been driven by its wide-ranging applications across various domains. Integrating speech recognition technologies into smart systems highlights the pivotal role of human-machine interaction. This study introduces a robust ASR system that leverages convolutional neural networks (CNNs) in conjunction with Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs). The model's architecture was improved by extensively examining hyperparameters, effectively recognizing ten different spoken commands. The model conducted training and evaluation using the Google Speech dataset, comprising 65,000 audio clips collected from a wide range of speakers across the globe. This dataset accurately represents the natural variations in speech found in real-world scenarios. The design comprises eight storage layers, encompassing convolutional and fully connected layers. It consists of a total of 183,345 weights and utilizes ReLU activation. It is worth mentioning that the average F1-score obtained during the training, validation, and testing stages is 99.06 %, 94.68%, and 95.27%, respectively. Furthermore, the proposed model exhibits about 1.3% improvement in experimental test accuracy over existing methods, confirming its effectiveness in real-world applications.

In this paper, new Sulfamethoxazole derivatives were studied in order to improve the treatment efficiency of this medicinal compound. Six compounds of Schiff bases were prepared via an intermediate reaction of Mannich bases. Two derivatives of thiadiazine heterocyclic compound were prepared as well. Characterization and the stereo conformations of the synthesized compounds were determined using 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and FT-IR techniques, in addition to elemental analysis and melting point measurements. The biological activity of the produced compounds against five types of bacteria including (Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumonia Salmonella, and Proteus) was investigated. The obtained results showed that biological activities against bacteria vary from high activity to not active. Moreover, (PyRx) software was utilized for the calculation of the binding affinity (kcal/mol) for the prepared compounds with proteins FYV (S. aureus), 4H2M (E. coli), 6P4T (Salmonella). The highest linking values with proteins were found to be (-9.4) with 4H2M and (-7.8) with 6P4T, whereas the lowest values were found (-5.3) with FYV. On the other hand, the results revealed that amino acids located around the prepared compound, which were linked through hydrogen bonding or charged and (aryne-aryne) hydrophobic interactions were also determined. In addition, the three dimensions’ shape, which explains the linkage way between proteins and the synthesized compounds, was stated. By recognizing the characteristic features of amino acids, which surround these compounds, the electronic densities of the compounds were also reported.

The electrospinning technique used to prepare a nano fibre filter under limited conditions involves (20 kV applied voltage, 15 cm gap distance, 1 ml/h: flow rate, and 0.4 mm needle diameter). Several tests for prepared materials were conducted including [scanning electron microscopy (SEM-EDX), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), contact angle, and particle size analysis]. As well as, the characterization of the water/oil mixture was tested before the filtration process and after it. According to the SEM data, smooth and homogeneous nanofibers with an approximate diameter of 350 nm and open porosity morphology were produced using the electrospinning approach. The liquid particles adhere to the filter fibers and work to shrink the holes in the filter, allowing the water to pass through the filter while recovering its characteristics, according to SEM results obtained after the filtration process. According to AFM data, the majority of pores have a diameter of around 100 nm, while the minority has a diameter of more than 100 nm but less than 2500 nm. The results of the catachrestic of water were saved after filtration of a sample by the prepared filter and it closed up the normal water properties by increasing the carbon nanoparticles ratios. The infrared data (FTIR) demonstrate that there is a physical interaction between the polymeric fibers and the added carbon particles since there is a drop in the intensity of infrared radiation after the carbon particles are added to the filter fibers. The hydrophilicity property is found to rise with increasing carbon nanoparticle ratio, and contact angle data demonstrate that this characteristic reduces with increasing carbon nanoparticle ratio, going from 72 o for pure nano filter to 44 o for filter with 0.3 percentage of carbon nanoparticles.

Numerous sensor nodes make up a wireless sensor network. Sensor nodes work together to send information about the environment to the base station. Nodes are susceptible to failure during these operations due to power failure, hardware or software failure, etc.. Consequently, delivering dependable packages necessitates achieving two important objectives: energy efficiency and minimized error rate. A novel approach is proposed to distribute the workload among each sensor node to accomplish these objectives. When estimating the scope of communication between nodes, uncertainties are dealt with using the fuzzy logic method. During some weather hazards, the features and cables are particularly challenging to monitor with simple devices in the WAN area. Remote sensing units are used to check and display the feature conditions to resolve this issue. Using machine learning algorithms, the collected data will be analyzed and processed to create a prediction horizon that will be useful for environmental studies and early warning systems. The MatLab2020b simulation program, which has useful tools and learning applications, will be used to carry out this task. The FIS algorithm obtained a cost distance of just 629 m out of the total WSN sensor lengths of 2600 m, which is the best cost among all implemented routing protocol techniques in this study.

The research aimed to estimate the marketing efficiency and the quantity and value of production at the break-even point for cotton farmers, which is one of the most important criteria for the economic feasibility of farms and the boundary between the losing volume and the profitable volume of production. It also aimed to determine the trend and time development for the area, production, and productivity of cotton in Iraq and Baghdad province. Initial field data for the last agricultural season of 2016 were used, and collected in 2022 by designing a questionnaire for cotton farmers in Baghdad province. This data encompassed the entire process, from the beginning of crop cultivation until its marketing, for a simple random sample of farmers, constituting about 18% of the study population (333 farmers) distributed over various agricultural areas specialized in cotton cultivation in the province. The results showed that the quantitative break-even point for the unit area was about 166 kg/dunum, which is the minimum required to cover the costs of cultivating one dunum of the crop, ensuring a net profit for the farmer. The monetary break-even point for the unit area amounted to about 202,432 Iraqi dinars/dunum, equivalent to about 135 US dollars. Notably, the average productivity of a dunum in the research sample was about 215 kg/dunum, meaning that the farmers of this crop can achieve profits from cultivating one dunum of 49 kg of cotton. The research recommends that sample farmers should pre-prepare and plan for all production processes related to the crop, starting from cultivation till the final marketing process.

Over the previous three decades, researchers have dedicated significant efforts towards the advancing of glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars, aiming to address the challenges arising from corrosion in traditional steel reinforcement bars. This study intended to find the most efficient relation to compute compression load capacity for concrete columns of circular sections reinforced with GFRP through surveying equations from previous research and comparing the relations of the most popular GFRP codes (JSCE, AS, CSA, and ACI). The statistical analysis of the equations depends on a comparison of practical and theoretical load capacities, Young's modulus, compressive concrete strength, ratios of longitudinal and both types of transverse reinforcement, spirals, and hoops. The results of CSA and AS were close to each other, and they were better than those of JSCE and ACI regarding being efficient, safe, and consistent. In addition, JSCE demonstrated a high level of conservative in all the studied parameters, followed by the ACI, while the CSA and AS showed very low conservative rates. Furthermore, the AS showed superiority in all the studied parameters. In terms of statistical metrics, the AS exhibited a very low error rate. It was concluded that the AS relation is the most efficient and superior relation for computing the axial load carrying capacity (ALCC) of all the studied parameters, followed closely by the CSA code equation, and with a slightly larger margin, the ACI code equation then JSCE code equation with a slightly very large margin.

Science - Abstract
The "crown of thorns" or Euphorbia milii, a decorative and therapeutic plant species, is regarded as belonging to the genus Euphorbia. E. milii is abundant in phenolic compounds, terpenoids, steroids and alkaloids. The main objective of this study was to investigate the extracted flavonoid and nano-flavonoids against two types of cell lines. Nano-flavonoids were synthesized via chitosan-maleic complex reaction. The structure of nano-flavonoids was analyzed by UV-sp -8001 spectrophotometer with a 200–1000 nm scanning wavelength and the produced compounds were examined. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) are used to determine the morphological properties. A strong and cutting-edge anti-proliferative drug against breast cancer cells (MCF-7) and prostate cancer cells (PC3) is the flavonoid and nano-flavonoid. The anti-cancer efficacy of flavonoids and nano-flavonoids against two different cancer cell lines as well as healthy cell lines was examined using the MTT assay. DNA fragmentation and the AO/ EtBr double staining technique were used to examine apoptotic markers. To determine the dispersion of the cell cycle, flow cytometry was used. The recent findings showed that the quantities of flavonoid and nano-flavonoid considerably improved the cytotoxic effect against breast and prostate cancer cell lines. Additionally, the cell cycle arrest in the G0/G1 phase was linked to the apoptosis of the cell lines induced by flavonoids and nano-flavonoids. According to these results, flavonoids and nano-flavonoids prevent cancer cell lines from proliferating, which causes the cell cycle to be arrested and apoptosis to be induced. The available findings suggested that the flavonoid and nano-flavonoid complex would represent a promising therapeutic approach for treating cancer cells of other types.

The bacterium Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is the key etiological agent in gastritis, peptic ulcer, and gastric cancer disease. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) contribute to the innate immune response through pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) derived from H. pylori and other microorganisms as well as damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) derived from host cells, such as tumour cells, dead or dying cells, or products released from cells in response to signals such as hypoxia. The study involved gastric biopsies taken from 88 gastroduodenal disorder patients and 21 healthy individuals. The clinical diagnoses of these groups after endoscopy examination included gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric cancer. The detection of H. pylori infection was performed using PCR to amplify ureC and ureA genes, then the bands were visualized by gel electrophoresis. The expression of TLR2 and TLR10 genes in gastric biopsies was evaluated using the relative method. The current findings indicate that susceptibility to gastroduodenal disorder increases with age, as most of the patients were over 30 years old (68 out of 88 patients) representing 77.2% of patients. The bacterium induced the expression of TLR2 and TLR10 genes, the gene TLR2 was recorded 11.11-fold in patients with gastritis, 7. 65-fold in those with peptic ulcer, and 6.25-fold in patients suffering from gastric cancer, the folding decreased with the prognosis of the disease. On the other hand, the TLR10 gene recorded the highest value 5.01-fold in peptic ulcer patients, followed by 4.73-fold with gastritis, and 3.10-fold with gastric cancer. The expression of the TLR2 and TLR10 genes was significantly higher (p ≤ 0.01) in the patients’ group compared with the control one. In gastritis, peptic ulcer, and gastric cancer patients, the TLR2 and TLR10 gene expression was higher than in the healthy group, and TLR2 was higher than TLR10.

This study involves the synthesis of CuCo2O4 spinel-type nanocomposite. This material was synthesized using the co-precipitation method and characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-rays Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The activity of the synthesized materials was investigated by following removing basic fuchsine (BF) dye from its aqueous solution by adsorption. Different adsorption parameters were conducted involving the dose of adsorbent surface, time of adsorption, pH of the medium, and temperature. The optimum removal efficiency was around 97 % at contact time 5 minutes, 0.005g of dose the surface adsorbent, pH = 8 and 50 mg. L-1 concentration of dye. Thermodynamic parameters for the adsorption of this dye over the prepared materials were also conducted such as free energy (∆G) negative. While enthalpy (∆H) positive which indicates the adsorption was spontaneous and endothermic, also entropy (∆S) was positive shows the affinity of the adsorbent towards the adsorbate.

Recently, great attention has been given to the idea of a smart environment. It often involves the use of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) for the management of electromagnetic wave reflections as the world awaits the emergence of 6G. Changeable intelligent surfaces may enhance the creation of wireless communication. The design and analysis of several unit cell reflections are presented in this work. The first design relies on the Switching Technique which involves switching on and off to acquire the phase as well as the coefficient of reflection to accommodate 6G standards. The unit cells design is configured to operate in the millimeter band and X band. In the second design, the radius of the circular patch was changed to adjustment of the phase and reflection coefficient. The use of Floquet technique is employed in investigating the scattering characteristics of a unit cell's constituent elements based on the assumption that every element consists of an extremely iterating periodic structure. To determine the optimal force reflection and the transformation phase, the return loss alongside reflection phase graphs of each resonant component were examined. The simulation results indicate that the first design exhibits a reflection phase shift range of -180 to 90 and a reflection magnitude over 0.93 at a frequency of 11GHz. In contrast, the second design demonstrates a reflection phase shift range of -135 to 135 and a reflection magnitude surpassing 0.9 at a frequency of 28GHz. The analysis and simulation of the design models were carried out using the CST model.

In the field of molecular simulations, molecular docking is a method that can determine the optimal and preferred orientation of a certain molecule related to another when they are coupled to create a stable complex. The strength of the association, or binding affinity, between two molecules can be predicted using knowledge of their preferred orientation. In this study, a series of prepared compounds were evaluated for their binding modes, potential interactions, and target binding locations. Some derivatives 1,3-oxazepane, and 1,3-benzoxazepine were prepared from three Schiff bases compounds (1S-3S). The compounds (1S-3S) were reacted with succinic anhydride and phthalic anhydride to obtain derivatives of 1,3- oxazepane and 1,3-benzoxazepine (1B-3C). The characterization of prepared compounds was achieved by methods of elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H, and 13C-NMR spectral analysis. The antibacterial activity of the compounds (1B-3C) was recorded against some isolated bacteria including gram-negative (Staphylococcus aureus), and gram-positive (E.coli) in parallel with Amoxicillin as a regular drug. Compounds (1B-3C) exhibited good values as antibacterial spreading from middling to perfect against the bacteria strains. Moreover, the antioxidant activity of the synthesized compounds (1B-3C) was evaluated using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl. The results showed that compounds have the highest values as radical scavenging.

The purpose of writing this research is to highlight some concepts which are proposed by Henry Louis Gates. The analysis will focus on the African American literary critic, filmmaker, historian, and public intellectual in Hansberry's selected plays (1965-1930). She was the first African woman to write plays and her plays performed on Broadway. Also, the stu dy shows the critical analysis of the speech by Cats. He was one of the well-known figures in African American thinking about lighting up the concepts of double 'voicedness' and 'signifying'. Gates explains that signifying in black discuses means modes of figuration itself. We can say that the signifying concept includes signs, testifying, loud talking, calling out one’s name, and playing the dozens. According to Gates, the Black concept of signifying differs from its donatives meanings. Typically meanings of this word in English are not satisfactory. Gates in most of his works tries to announce and develop double-voicedness in African American literature. He thinks that African American literature is based on two voices and societies, white and black. In the end, he stresses that the distinctiveness of African American literature will be born from the merging of these two discourses. The Gates' concepts will be applied in A Raisin in the Sun. We will analyze the concepts, elements, and dramatic works that she has created. The researcher will explain why it is claimed that the idea of "double voice" can be traced in the dramatic works mentioned. In same time, Both American and African cultures and voices will be highlighted separately and retrospectively.

Rivers became supersaturated with carbon dioxide (CO2), so they play an essential role in the global carbon budgets. To increase our understanding of the source of CO2 availability in rivers, we studied the role of climate-changed drivers of CO2 availability, which are ‘‘dissolved organic carbon (DOC), and warming’’. We sampled 45 locations of 3 parts within the Tigris River in Baghdad during autumn and winter. The results showed that all the studied variables (water temperature, pH, DOC, CO2) changed over time. The variations in CO2 availability are associated with changes in DOC concentration, not with water temperature. Overall, our results suggest that elevated CO2 in rivers could result from increased DOC inputs. Therefore, we can conclude that increased DOC concentration in rivers was required for microbial respiration and photo-mineralization, which are the primary sources of CO2 in river ecosystems.

A concept of a dislocated quasi-normed space is introduced in this paper which is a spatial case of the concept of a quasi-normed space and related to the notion of a dislocated quasi-metric space. Its relationship with other concepts is given by illustrative examples. The completeness of it defines a dislocated quasi-Banach space that is important to our results with respect to a fixed-point theorem. Also, a quasi-contraction mapping is introduced, in which, Lipchitz constant depends on a constant of dislocated quasi-normed space, and then a Banach contraction principle theorem in a dislocated quasi-Banach space is studied with some important results.

The present project involves photodegrading the dye solochrom violet under advanced oxidation techniques at (25 oC) temperature and UV light. Zinc Oxide (ZnO) and UV radiation at a wavelength of 580 nm were used to conduct the photocatalytic reaction of the solochrom violet dye. One of the factors looked into was the impact of the starting conditions. pH, the amount of original hydrogen peroxide, and the dye concentration time radiation were used. For hours, the kinetics and percentages of degradation were examined at various intervals. In general, it has been discovered that the photodegradation rates of the dye were greater when H2O2 and ZnO were combined with UV light. The best wavelength to use was determined. Modern oxidation techniques were proven to be very effective at degrading the majority of contaminants in wastewater. Using a spectrophotometer, the dye's photocatalytic browning was investigated. The theoretical calculation concentrated on the active site using the density functional theory technique and the Gaussian 09 program.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) represents the most prevalent type of acute leukemia in adults and is responsible for approximately 80% of all cases. The tumor suppressor gene (TP53) is a gene that has been frequently studied in cancer, and mutations in this gene account for about 50% of human cancers. This study aims to evaluate the correlation between two single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the gene: rs1042522 and rs1642785, and a group of Iraqi patients suffering from pre-diagnostic acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Blood samples were collected from sixty patients (26 males and 34 females) and sixty controls (26 males and 34 females); these subjects were matched in gender, age, and ethnicity. Genomic DNA has been extracted from whole frozen blood samples by using the Easy Pure® Blood Genomic Kit, and then the purity and concentration have been measured by using the Nano drop NAS-99 spectrophotometer. Nano Drop readings ranged between 7-55ng/µl for the concentration and between 1.78-1.9 for the purity. High resolution melt (HRM) real-time PCR was used in the detection of these two SNPs. TP53 genotype frequencies have been in accordance with Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium (HWE), with statistically significant differences p≤0.05 between the genotypes of the control and patient groups. The rs1042522 genotype frequency was significantly different between patients and controls p = 0.0001, and participants with the GA genotype were more likely to develop AML OR = 7.8, 95% CI 3.2–18.4, p= 0.0001. In addition, the genotype frequency of rs1642785 was significantly different between patients and controls p = 0.002, and participants with the GA genotype were more likely to develop AML OR = 3.5, 95% CI 1.5–8.12, p = 0.002.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) increasingly affects the elderly and is a major killer of those 65 and over. Different deep-learning methods are used for automatic diagnosis, yet they have some limitations. Deep Learning is one of the modern methods that were used to detect and classify a medical image because of the ability of deep Learning to extract the features of images automatically. However, there are still limitations to using deep learning to accurately classify medical images because extracting the fine edges of medical images is sometimes considered difficult, and some distortion in the images. Therefore, this research aims to develop A Computer-Aided Brain Diagnosis (CABD) system that can tell if a brain scan exhibits indications of Alzheimer's disease. The system employs MRI and feature extraction methods to categorize images. This paper adopts the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset includes functional MRI and Positron-Version Tomography scans for Alzheimer's patient identification, which were produced for people with Alzheimer's as well as typical individuals. The proposed technique uses MRI brain scans to discover and categorize traits utilizing the Histogram Features Extraction (HFE) technique to be combined with the Canny edge to representing the input image of the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) classification. According to their toxicity, toxic heavy metals such as arsenic, mercury, cadmium, copper, zinc, and lead are believed to be the most harmful to humans, fish, and the environment. Because their levels are rising due to human activities endangering aquatic species and people, the current study sought to ascertain the level of toxic heavy metals in five catfish parts (skin, liver, muscles, gills, and ovaries). In the northern part of the Shatt Al-Arab, catfish samples were collected in March 2022. ICP-MS was used to detect target metal levels. According to the results, arsenic accumulated in the skin and muscles at a rate of 0.22 and 0.21ppm, respectively. In contrast, the levels of arsenic in the various body parts are not statistically different. Additionally, cadmium showed no noticeable variances in the studied body parts. Furthermore, the liver had the most significant copper accumulation 18.72ppm. Furthermore, mercury accumulation in various body parts was shown to vary statistically, with the highest levels in muscles 0.66ppm. In addition, zinc was accumulated in the body parts in the following sequence: gills, ovaries, liver, skin, and muscles, respectively, while in the following sequence: muscles, skin, gills, liver, and ovaries respectively in the lead. Moreover, there were no statistically significant differences in the quantity of zirconium that accumulated. According to the current study, the catfish’s body parts did not accumulate toxic heavy metals at high rates. This may be due to study area the environment and the mechanisms of treating these types of metals by catfish.

In recent years, Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rebar has been adopted to reinforce structural concrete elements such as slabs. FRP strips are also increasingly used to reinforce or strengthen concrete members that require higher carrying capacity or to restore damaged structural elements. Therefore, the reinforcement of concrete structures with this material is increasing but the effect of variables on CFRP-reinforced concrete slabs and externally bonded with CFRP laminates has not been evaluated in detail. This study presents a numerical analysis of the structural performance of concrete slabs reinforced by CFRP bars and strengthened by CFRP laminates using a finite element approach with ANSYS software. Six models with the same geometry (1550x1550x100 mm) were analyzed. Four models were reinforced with CFRP bars and externally strengthened with CFRP laminates, one model was reinforced with CFRP bars without external strength, and one reference model with traditional reinforcing bars (control specimen). Different parameters were adopted, such as amounts of FRP bars and CFRP laminates layout in which some models contained both CFRP bars and CFRP laminates. A uniformly distributed load that was calculated by plastic analysis was applied at the top surface area of each model. The plastic load considers the contribution of the laminated CFRP strips that increased the strength of the slab. Analysis results in the maximum strength carrying capacity in equivalent CFRP bars exhibit higher strength percentages of 5.07% of load capacity but differed in mode of failure than conventional reinforcements control slab.

Science - Abstract
The aim of this investigation is to determine how different weight percentages of alumina nanoparticles, including 0.02, 0.04, and 0.06 percent wt, affect the physical characteristics of Poly Acrylamide (PAAM). Using a hot plate magnetic stirrer, 10 g of poly acrylamide powder was dissolved in 90 g of di-ionized distillate water for 4 hours to produce PAAM with a concentration of 0.11 g/ml. Four sections of the resulting solution, each with a volume of 20 ml, were created. Each solution was added independently with alumina nanoparticles in different ratios 0.0, 0.02, 0.04, and 0.06 to create four nano fluid solutions with different alumina nanoparticle contents based on each weight percent. The hand casting process for nanocomposites samples, which entailed pouring the prepared solution into an appropriate plastic mold, allowing it to cure for 24 hours, and then cutting the resulting thin film according to each test, was used to create the nano composited membranes. The tensile test was used to study tensile strength, Young's modulus, elongation, and toughness. Additionally, a test using Fourier transition infrared radiation (FTIR) was conducted to examine the chemical and physical connections between polyacrylamide and alumina nanoparticles. The morphology of the materials was examined using scan electron microscopy. The contact angles of samples were tested to limit the hydrophilicity behavior of these samples. To control the hydrophilicity behavior of these samples, the contact angles of the samples were evaluated. The results showed that including alumina nanoparticles into the PAAM matrix improves the mechanical characteristics of the resulting nanocomposites. Tensile strength increases from 1 GPa to 2.5 GPa with an increase in alumina nanoparticle content from 0 to 0.06 percent wt. For the same prior ratios, Young's modulus likewise increased, rising from 1.3 to 2 GPa. For the higher weight ratio of alumina nanoparticles (0.04 percent wt), toughness rises to 240 J/cm2. On the other hand, the addition of alumina nanoparticles increased the PAAM surface's contact angle from 55 degrees to 67 degrees, and it exhibited hydrophilic behavior

Information security in data storage and transmission is increasingly important. On the other hand, images are used in many procedures. Therefore, preventing unauthorized access to image data is crucial by encrypting images to protect sensitive data or privacy. The methods and algorithms for masking or encoding images vary from simple spatial-domain methods to frequency-domain methods, which are the most complex and reliable. In this paper, a new cryptographic system based on the random key generator hybridization methodology by taking advantage of the properties of Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) to generate an indefinite set of random keys and taking advantage of the low-frequency region coefficients after the DCT stage to pass them to a subsystem consisting of an Reversible Logic Gate (RLG) group to obtain the secret keys that are passed to Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) to finish encrypting the image. The results indicate that the proposed method has the ability to generate a very large set of highly complex and secure secret keys that can be used later in the encryption stage. Moreover, the number and complexity of those keys will change each time the image is changed, and this represents the contribution of the proposed method. They experienced no time loss throughout the encryption and decryption processes when using RLG, which indicates that the proposed system did a good job in making different keys from the same image. And it differs in the strength of the key from one image to another, depending on the nature of the color imge.

In information security, fingerprint verification is one of the most common recent approaches for verifying human identity through a distinctive pattern. The verification process works by comparing a pair of fingerprint templates and identifying the similarity/matching among them. Several research studies have utilized different techniques for the matching process such as fuzzy vault and image filtering approaches. Yet, these approaches are still suffering from the imprecise articulation of the biometrics’ interesting patterns. The emergence of deep learning architectures such as the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) has been extensively used for image processing and object detection tasks and showed an outstanding performance compared to traditional image filtering techniques. This paper aimed to utilize a specific CNN architecture known as AlexNet for the fingerprint-matching task. Using such an architecture, this study has extracted the significant features of the fingerprint image, generated a key based on such a biometric feature of the image, and stored it in a reference database. Then, using Cosine similarity and Hamming Distance measures, the testing fingerprints have been matched with a reference. Using the FVC2002 database, the proposed method showed a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 2.09% and a False Rejection Rate (FRR) of 2.81%. Comparing these results against other studies that utilized traditional approaches such as the Fuzzy Vault has demonstrated the efficacy of CNN in terms of fingerprint matching. It is also emphasizing the usefulness of using Cosine similarity and Hamming Distance in terms of matching.

Many organizations around the world have recognized lightweight, long-lasting, cost and environmentally-friendly construction materials as a future necessity. The lightweight concrete is manufactured mainly either by replacing the original aggregate with lightweight aggregate or addition foam production materials to concrete mixtures. These additions lead to a decrease in the lightweight concrete density and change mechanical properties such as compressive strength. Therefore, there is much experimental research has been conducted to add different material types that can improve lightweight concrete compressive strength while maintaining low density. In this review, the effect of various additions such as steel fiber, product waste materials, and nano-materials on the lightweight concrete compressive strength and density have been explained. The various effects of these additive materials on lightweight concrete properties, some additives lead to improving the properties of lightweight concrete, while other materials lead to a decrease in those properties, and this depends on the type and amount of material additive, the method lightweight concrete manufacturing, and their mixture composition.

The influence of friction pressure on welding quality when friction stud welding 1017 low carbon steel with AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel is investigated in this study. friction stud welding is employed in industrial applications instead of conventional welding processes Due to the friction welding process didn't need to reach the melting point of welded metals. Welding is performed on these dissimilar metals by utilizing a lathe machine with a load cell connected to a weight indicator and a manufacturing grip to fasten the plate at a rotating speed of 1600 RPM, a friction time of 20 seconds, and a friction pressure of (15, 20, and 25) MPa. After the welding procedure is completed, the specimens are subjected to tensile, torque, and hardness tests to evaluate the welding quality. In addition, optical microscope research was carried out to determine the microstructural aspects. The effect of friction pressure on welding quality was investigated based on the information generated from the results. The increase of friction pressure during the process from 15 MPa to 25 MPa leads to an increasing ultimate tensile strength from 203 MPa to 210 MPa approximately. Also, the torque values raised from 179 N.m to 198 N.m in the same case.

Watermarking operation can be defined as a process of embedding special wanted and reversible information in important secure files to protect the ownership or information of the wanted cover file based on the proposed singular value decomposition (SVD) watermark. The proposed method for digital watermark has very huge domain for constructing final number and this mean protecting watermark from conflict. The cover file is the important image need to be protected. A hidden watermark is a unique number extracted from the cover file by performing proposed related and successive operations, starting by dividing the original image into four various parts with unequal size. Each part of these four treated as a separate matrix and applying SVD on it, the diagonal matrix is selected to determine its norm. The four norms will be processed to produce one unique number used as a watermark and this number can be developed in future by exploiting some other features in constructing watermark number other than SVD process to construct two watermark numbers, each one of them owned special methodology, for avoiding some challenges and changings in the transformation process.
