- Abstract
The study aimed to identify the impact of Transformational Leadership (TL) on the Quality of Work Life (QWL), and to determine the practiced level of TL, and the certain level of QWL among employees of Yemeni pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. To achieve these objectives, the descriptive analytical method was adopted, and a questionnaire tool was developed as the tool of collecting primary data from the study population, which included (2200) employees. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of (327) employees was selected using proportional stratified random sampling method, where (327) questionnaires were distributed, from which (302) questionnaires were retrieved, and (292) questionnaires were valid for analysis. The data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 21, and the study findings revealed that there is a statistically significant impact of TL in all of TL dimensions on the QWL among the employees of the study population, as the ideal influence and inspirational motivation dimensions of TL have the highest impact on the QWL, followed by intellectual stimulation and individual considerations dimensions with equal influence. The findings also showed that the certain level of QWL among the employees was moderate, as the level of occupational safety and health dimension was achieved with a high degree, while the rest of QWL dimensions have obtained medium scores. The study also revealed that the practiced level of TL was moderate in all of its dimensions at the study companies. Based on the findings, the study recommends the leaders of Yemeni pharmaceutical manufacturing companies to adopt the TL style, as it is one of the modern leadership styles that contributes to more achievement of QWL. Leadership is considered one of the most effective guidance tools in the field of work, and it helps solve many work tasks and complexities. An organization that lacks sound leadership will not have a share of success. The current research aimed to shed light on most of the modern leadership styles in the twenty-first century, such as: smart leadership, digital leadership, creative leadership, positive leadership, transformational leadership, participatory leadership, ethical leadership, servant leadership, sustainable leadership, and enlightened leadership. This was with the aim of explaining these patterns to presidents, managers, and leaders to benefit from them when exercising leadership in the organizations in which they work, and so that they can be guided by these patterns when directing and motivating those working with them to perform the work or tasks required of them efficiently and effectively, and selecting the appropriate ones in light of the nature of the situation, the characteristics of the employees, and the available time and the available and possible of resources. This research was a humility attempt to expand the knowledge and awareness of these presidents, managers, and leaders with modern leadership styles instead of limiting their knowledge and awareness to familiar traditional leadership styles, such as: dictatorial leadership, bureaucratic leadership, anarchic leadership, and democratic leadership. The research also shed light on some negative or anti-leadership styles, such as: negative leadership and destructive leadership as styles that work against the correct and positive concept of leadership and its role in directing employees and the organization and achieving common goals. The current research was considered a type of theoretical library research that relies on a qualitative description of the research topic, as modern leadership styles were discussed through reviewing the scientific literature related to the science and profession of management and in other scientific disciplines, especially the sociology of organizations and psychology in the work environment. - Abstract
The study aimed to develop a proposed framework for the causal relationships between transformational leadership, organizational agility, and organizational excellence in the state’s administrative apparatus by measuring the direct and indirect effects of transformational leadership on organizational excellence through the mediation of organizational agility, by applying it to employees in the General Office of Beni Suef Governorate and the offices of city centers. The primary data was collected through a field survey, and this research was applied to a sample of 347 individuals. And a set of statistical methods were used, represented by Mean and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, (AMOS 24) program, the Cronbach’s alpha test, and intrinsic validity, in order to measure the extent of the reliability and validity of the tool used in the research. The most important results were the presence of a significant positive effect of transformational leadership on organizational excellence, the presence of a significant positive effect of transformational leadership on organizational agility, and the presence of a significant positive effect of organizational agility on organizational excellence. The study also found that organizational agility mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational excellence; Organizational excellence in the organization increases the mediation of organizational agility in the relationship between the independent and dependent variables, and this means the quality of the proposed study model. The study aimed to identify the relationship between the degree to which academic leaders practice the dimensions of transformational leadership and the degree of availability of knowledge economy requirements from the point of view of faculty members in the Department of Educational Administration in the following Saudi universities: (Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, and Taibah University In Medina), to achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive survey method was used, and the study tool was the questionnaire that was applied to all members of the study population consisting of (59) members, and (36) members responded, representing (61%) of the study population. The results of the study concluded that the degree of academic leaders' practice of the dimensions of transformational leadership and the degree of availability of knowledge economy requirements in Saudi universities from the point of view of faculty members was (significant) for both axes alike, with a strong direct correlation with statistical significance indicating that the more... Academic leaders' practice of the dimensions of transformational leadership has increased. Accordingly, the degree of availability of knowledge economy requirements in Saudi universities increases, and (55%) of the degree of availability of knowledge economy requirements is due to the degree to which academic leaders practice the dimensions of transformational leadership, and (45%) is due to other factors, and the presence of a large and statistically significant impact and contribution. The degree to which academic leaders practice the dimensions of transformational leadership depends on the degree of availability of the requirements of the knowledge economy, and that the most influential dimension is the second dimension: (intellectual stimulation). The study aimed at investigating sports activities directors practice Level of Transformational Leadership in Jordanian Universities and its Relationship with creative behaviour Among coaches of sports teams in Jordanian Universities Viewpoint. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (90) male and female coaches. Data was collected through the use of an Transformational leadership scale which was adopted from (Avolio et al, 1995) includes five dimensions (Influence Idealized, Idealized Behaviors, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, Individual Consideration) and creative behaviour scale which was adopted from researcher includes fore dimensions (Originality, Fluency, Flexibility, Sensitivity to problems). To analyze the data (SPSS) Statistics were used. The results indicated that the sports activities directors practice Level of Transformational Leadership in Jordanian Universities was moderate on the scale as a whole and Level of creative behaviour Among coaches was moderate on the scale as a whole, there are statistically significant differences on the level of sports activities directors practice Transformational Leadership in Jordanian Universities attributed to the experience in favor of (11) years and over. There was also positive correlation between the level of Transformational Leadership practice with creative behaviour Among coaches of sports teams in Jordanian Universities. According to the results of the study the researchers recommend to necessity sports activities directors practice transformational leadership styles with employees to motivate them by providing creative ideas and solutions to meet work challenges to achieve the universities' vision of raising the level of university sports. Education is one of the important issues related to the development of society, and it is a tool for building a strong state capable of facing social, economic and cultural challenges. That is why the Egyptian state was interested in changing the pre-university education system to build an educational system supported by technology, based on efficiency and enhancing students’ skills and their ability to think and innovate. The success of the new system of pre-university education is linked to the presence of a clear vision for change supported by the Stakeholders during the various stages of implementing the change, which requires the availability of communication, organizational and technical efforts to support it. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the relationship between organizational communications managed by the Ministry of Education during the implementation of change, the style of transformational leadership that manages change processes, and the affective commitment of teachers to change in educational institutions, as well as testing the relationship between organizational factors and the personal and professional characteristics of teachers, and their acceptance of changing Pre-university education system and their commitment to this change. The study found, through a survey conducted on a sample of teachers at the primary and secondary levels, that there was a moderate level of awareness of change, knowledge of how to apply it, and a desire to participate in and support it, while the level of feeling of ability to change among teachers increased. Organizational communications and transformational leadership have an effective role in managing change for the pre-university education system. The study demonstrated the existence of a significant relationship between organizational communications and affective commitment to change. It also found a significant relationship between transformational leadership and teachers’ affective commitment to change in the pre-university education system. Organizational, professional and personal factors have an impact on teachers’ affective commitment to change in the pre-university education system, while there was no impact of demographic factors on this. 17. A Multi-Factoral Approach to Enhancing Millennial Teachers' Personal Knowledge Management

Prior research has emphasized a need for scholarly works investigating millennial instructors' knowledge management (PKM) practices at the individual level within an institution. In addition, there needs to be more research examining the role of organizational learning as a mediator between transformational leadership and personal knowledge management among millennial instructors. This study examines how transformational leadership, ICT literacy, and organizational learning affect personal knowledge management (PKM) among Indonesian school instructors in their 20s and 30s. Another goal is to investigate the function of organizational learning as a mediating factor. We administered questionnaires to 100 teachers at some private Islamic schools in Bengkulu, Indonesia, and evaluated them subsequently using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The results suggest that proficiency in information and communication technology (ICT), the ability to inspire and guide others through transformational leadership, and the presence of a culture that promotes continuous learning within the business all contribute positively to the practice of personal knowledge management (PKM) among instructors from the millennial generation. The study determined that ICT literacy had the most substantial impact on teachers' PKM. Furthermore, organizational learning mediates between transformational leadership and PKM, resulting in a slight rise. These findings have practical consequences for school administrators who aim to increase millennial teachers' information and communication technology (ICT) skills in the region. One way to achieve this is by creating an ICT literacy ecosystem within schools, which will help strengthen the personal knowledge management of these instructors.

18. Transformational Leadership on Teacher Performance Through the Mediating Role of Motivation

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of the principal's transformational leadership on school performance, as mediated by teachers' work motivation at MTsN 1 Merangin. This study employs a quantitative method as well as explanatory research. Primary data is collected using questionnaires for three relevant variables, while secondary data is gathered from school records, textbooks, and periodicals. The sample employed in this study was non-probability purposive sampling, with a total of 51 teachers. Smart PLS v.3 software runs the PLS-SEM data analysis algorithms. This study found that the principal's transformative leadership had a considerable positive direct effect on teacher performance (coefficient 0.208, t-count 1.660, a standard deviation 0.126, p-value 0.045 < 0.05). It demonstrates that transformational principle leadership has a substantial impact on teacher performance. The principal's transformational leadership has a considerable direct and beneficial effect on teachers’ motivation (coefficient 0.675, t-count 12.979, a standard deviation 0.05, p-value 0.000 < 0.05. It indicates a significant effect of transformative leadership on teacher motivation. Next, there was a considerable beneficial direct influence of teachers' motivation on teacher performance (coefficient 0.634, t-count 5.574, a standard deviation 0.114, p-value 0.000 < 0.05). It indicates a statistically significant influence of teacher motivation on performance. Last, motivation can operate as a mediator (coefficient 0.428, standard deviation 0.087, t-count 4.888, p-value 0.000 < 0.05). motivation mediates transformational leadership to teacher performance. So, the school principal was encouraged to have more intellectual stimulation, care, and inspire teachers, as well as other indicators of transformational leadership, to boost teacher motivation and performance.

Islam is a comprehensive religion that does not discuss one aspect of knowledge but covers all aspects, including leadership. Islamic leadership must be based on the pillars of Islam, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. Islamic leaders must work towards a vision to create a just society where the rule of law is upheld among all believers and non-believers. In the context of Islam in Western countries, leadership faced many challenges during the early years of the 21st century. These challenges can come from internal organizational challenges, such as social, cultural, and structural challenges. However, challenges arise from external contexts, such as social, cultural, legal, and political. In Islamic economic philosophy, the leadership model that is considered ideal is one based on fair and ethical leadership principles. This qualitative research aims to explain and redesign the transformational leadership theory with Islamic leadership. The study results are four characteristics that can influence transformational Islamic leadership: government pressure, media hostility, international politics, and a legal system. The impact of international politics unites the Muslim population to some extent. Australia's Muslim population hails from many countries, including a significant group born and raised in Australia. As a result, the Muslim population in Australia is a minority in an international context.

College of Education - International Islamic University Malaysia The present study aimed to identify The impact of the practice of transformational leadership of school principals on the motivation of teachers in the Sultanate of Oman, study used a descriptive method, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (377) teachers. The results of the study concluded that the degree of school principals practicing transformational leadership in the Sultanate of Oman was above average in general, and that the level of motivation for teachers was above average in general. The results also found that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the responses of the study sample of teachers due to the gender variable in favor of females, the scientific qualification variable in favor of Masters and above, and the variable of years of experience in favor of more than 10 years. The results also revealed that there is a statistically significant positive correlation at the level (0.01) between transformational leadership of school principals and motivation of teachers. This study entails an exploratory investigation of transformative leadership in the context of waqf institutions. In analysing the transformational leadership style, the study interviewed the heads of the State Islamic Religious Councils in charge of waqf institutions in Malaysia. The best practices in the two waqf institutions were found to fall under four areas related to transformational leadership: idealised influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualised consideration. The four categories were generated from three sub-categories, bringing the overall total to 12 sub-categories. The findings demonstrate the applicability of transformational leadership in waqf institutions, where it fosters employee inspiration, contentment, and creativity. In addition, this study adds to the body of knowledge as there are not many previous investigations on transformational leadership in the setting of waqf institutions. Waqf sector leaders can use this study's practical application to comprehend, apply, practice and evaluate transformational leadership in accomplishing the objectives of their respective waqf institutions.

Purpose – This paper investigates the influence of transformational and ambidextrous behaviors on individual readiness for change within the context of work related changes induced by quality assurance and accreditation attempts in Egyptian Universities. Methodology – A self-reported survey was distributed to faculty members in four Egyptian Universities (two private and two public), 500 surveys were distributed and 435 were collected. Data was analyzed using SPSS/AMOS statistical software. Findings – Results showed that transformational leadership had a positive effect on individual readiness for change moderated by ambidextrous behaviors. The empirical investigation revealed varying impacts of multiple research constituents. Research implications – Despite the documented importance of individual readiness for change in the management literature, scare research was found regarding the role of effective leadership styles in the context of universities nevertheless in Egypt. This study serves as a strong foundation for future research in this area, which is at its nascence and upcoming in the researchers’ community. Practical implications – Leaders need to set clear agenda and effectively communicate the appropriateness and benefits of change to their subordinates for developing positive behaviors towards desirable organizational outcomes. Originality – This paper attempts to determinate both transformational and ambidextrous leaders' behaviors influencing subordinates readiness to embark on work changes related to quality assurance and accreditation in Egyptian universities.

This study aimed to uncover the role of transformational leadership through its dimensions (exemplary influence, individual considerations, intellectual stimulation, and inspirational stimulation) in strengthening the organizational commitment in the National Employment Agency. The questionnaire is used as a means of collecting data, and the number of answers is 226 and the software adopted is the plspm R 3.5.1.The results revealed that transformational leadership has no significant impact on the organizational commitment, and that transformational leadership in its four dimensions does not affect organizational commitment as well. The study recommended raising the level of commitment in order to reduce the work pressures and encourage competencies and initiatives.

The research aims to identify the practice of multi-factor leadership among academic leaders at Al-Baha University according to some variables. The method is analytical descriptive approach. The sample consisted of (404) faculty members at Al-Baha University. A Questionnaire (MLQ) for Bass & Avolio (1999) was used. The results are: the highest percentage of practice in two styles of transformational and Transactional leadership together is (63.86%), followed by practicing the three leadership styles together (20.29%), followed by practicing the two styles of Transactional and Lassiez faire leadership together (8.66%). Practicing Lassiez faire is(4.45%). Practicing transactional leadership is (1.48%), and transformational is (1.23%). The degree of all dimensions for transformational are practiced highly. The dimensions of the transactional are high; except for management by exceptions (active) is a medium degree. The Lassiez faire rank is the third with a low degree. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the practice of multifactorial leadership styles depending on the type and academic rank, and the presence of statistically significant differences on the transformational and reciprocal leadership styles attributed to the years of experience in favor of (5-10), and there were no significant differences on the permissive leadership style. There are differences in the practice of permissive leadership style according to specialization in favor of humanitarian specialization. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aimed to measure the degree of practicing transformational leadership by superintendents in Amman, as perceived by educational supervisors. In order to achieve the study goals, a random sample of 207 male and female educational supervisors was selected during the academic semester 2016/2017, a questionnaire was designed then validity and reliability were tested. After completing the questionnaires by selected samples and analyzing the data, main findings were: The degree of practicing transformational leadership by superintendents in Amman, as perceived by educational supervisors was low and no presence for statistical significant differences among study sample in experience variable. The presence of statistical significant differences among study sample is due to educational qualification variable and toward graduate studies. Abstract: This study aims to explain the transformational leadership of Dayah in empowering the Dayah community, which is focused on empowering the quality of teungku, santri, and administrative personnel for the development of Total Quality Management (QTM). The research method used was library research with a transformational leadership approach to educational institutions. Data sources consisted of books, journals, and other literacy sources related to Dayah educational institutions and transformational leadership. Data analysis used was content analysis by determining, describing, and interpreting the data. The result indicated that to empower teungku quality, Dayah leaders carry out the management, guidance and development of all teungku in the intellectual, spiritual, emotional and social dimensions. To empower the quality of students, Dayah leaders organize all activities related to the students, from input to output, with a series of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor activities. Empowerment of administrative personnel, Dayah leaders take steps to develop self-potential, fostering and increasing performance productivity, including scientific, loyal, skilled, and evaluating their performance to be measured. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kepemimpinan transformasional Dayah dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat Dayah yang difokuskan pada pemberdayaan mutu teungku, santri, dan tenaga administrasi untuk pengembangan Total Quality Management (QTM). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kepemimpinan transformasional pada lembaga pendidikan. Sumber data terdiri dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber literasi lainnya yang terkait dengan lembaga pendidikan Dayah dan kepemimpinan transformasional. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah content analysis dengan menentukan, mendeskripsikan, dan menginterpretasikan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam memberdayakan mutu teungku, pimpinan Dayah melakukan pengelolaan, pembinaan, dan pengembangan terhadap seluruh teungku dalam dimensi intelektual, spiritual, emosional, dan social. Untuk memberdayakan mutu santri, pimpinan Dayah melakukan penataan segala aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan santri mulai dari input sampai dengan out put dengan serangkaian aktivitas cognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Untuk memberdayakan tenaga administrasi, pimpinan Dayah melakukan langkah-langkah dengan usaha pengembangan potensi diri, pembinaan dan peningkatkan produktivitas kinerja yang meliputi keilmuan, loyal, terampil, dan mengevaluasi kinerjanya agar dapat terukur.

The recent research aimed to explore the effects of age, job, and number of experience years on teaching staff and their assistants’ psychological empowerment, also to check the relationship between psychological empowerment and transformational leadership and their dimensions, moreover to verify the relationship between transformational leadership and work engagement and their dimensions, in addition to identifying the effect of psychological empowerment mediation on the relationship between transformational leadership and work engagement. Number of final sample was (258) teaching staff members and their assistants in faculties of Education, Specific Education, Physical Education for Boys, and Physical Education for Girls, Zagazig University, were chosen randomly, and research tools were administered (psychological empowerment measure, transformational leadership measure, and work engagement measure); all are translated by the researchers. Statistical methods were One-Way BetweenSubjects MANOVA, R Squared, Pearson Correlation, and a structural equation model. The most important results were: there are statistically significant differences according to age in favor of the age category (more than (60) years), there are statistically significant differences according to job in favor of (Professor) job, also there are statistically significant differences according to number of experience years in favor of (more than (40) years of experience), moreover there is a statistically significant relationship between psychological empowerment and transformational leadership and their dimensions, also there is a statistically significant relationship between transformational leadership and work engagement and their dimensions, in addition to that both psychological empowerment and transformational leadership can predict about 46% of variance in work engagement. 50. The Effect of Transformational Leadership on Administrative Empowerment: A Field Study at Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Yemen

The study aimed to measure the impact of transformational leadership on administrative empowerment, and identify the level of practicing it at pharmaceutical manufacturers in Yemen. It also aimed to identify the level of administrative empowerment practice in these companies. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive and analytical method was adopted, and a questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 330 participants selected by the complete sensus sampling method. However, only 227 of the questionnaires were valid for analysis. For data analysis, many descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used. Findings revealed that the level of practicing transformational leadership did not reach the expected level, as the mean was just medium. There were differences at the level of practicing the dimensions of transformational leadership; the highest effective difference was the intellectual arousal and the least one was the individualized consideration. Findings also showed that the level of administrative empowerment practice was medium, and the practice level of the dimension of authority delegation was high while participation in decision-making was low. Moreover, there were differences at the level of the impact of the dimensions of transformational leadership on administrative empowerment; the highest effective difference was the ideal effect and the least one was the individualized consideration. The study stressed the need to adopt various dimensions of transformational leadership, at pharmaceutical manufacturers in Yemen, with an emphasis on individualized consideration as this can have a great impact on administrative empowerment.
