The article discusses the diversity of Odonates or dragonflies and damsel flies fauna in Nandankanan Zoological Park in Orissa, India. The survey revealed that the park is host to 26 species of Odonates, representing 20 genera and five families which confirmed that the park is a good habitat for the insects. However, pressure from anthropogenic activities degrade the environment, therefore it is necessary to limit the level of human interference in the area.
