Predatory publishing is the unethical and dishonest behavior of publishers who take advantage of researchers by charging them too much money and not providing good editing and peer-review services. Scholars, publishers and policymakers are seeking solutions to combat predatory publishing, which has become a major academic problem. This research paper provides a bibliometric analysis of the citation patterns and trends in the predatory publishing literature. The study analyzed the 100 top-cited papers on predatory publishing and provided insight into the types of documents, journals, authors, and countries that contributed to this field. The average citation per paper in the top 100 selected publications was 53.67. Open-access publications received a significantly higher average citation per paper than subscription-based papers. "Article" was the major type of document published, followed by "Notes," "Reviews" and "Editorials." Nature and Learned Publishing were the journals that contained the highest number of top-cited articles. J. Beall and D. Moher authored the highest number of papers, while A. Grudniewicz had the highest average citation per paper. USA and Canada were the top countries in these top-cited publications. Librarians within the Engineering Libraries Division (ELD) annually publish conference papers for the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). The existing ASEE rubric was not sufficient for our members, so we developed a new rubric as a charged committee for this task. We briefly discuss the sparse literature in this area, focusing on the use of rubrics and the rationale behind them. Due to this lack of literature, our committee primarily utilized additional sources such as rubrics found from other professional organizations in STEM and library fields. Our rubric is designed to encourage substantive feedback and growth of authors during the process, while clarifying the expectations for submissions. This rubric consists of overall guidance and specific needs, with flexibility for the different research methods and applications expected (i.e. work-in-progress/completed research, quantitative/qualitative, etc.). We implemented this rubric successfully for the 2021 conference cycle, but will further refine it as needed, based on feedback following future conferences. Geometric Optics is a rapidly-evolving field with implications for a broad range of applications, from biomedical imaging to advanced materials engineering. This comprehensive bibliometric analysis presents an in-depth examination of global research in Geometric Optics from 2012–2021, using data from the Scopus database. The analysis reveals a total of 5,388 publications authored by 15,277 individuals, with a steady annual growth rate of 3.7% and an impressive citation impact of 11.99% per paper. The top 20 productive authors are identified, who contributed to 18.5% of global publications and 11.1% of citations, and the international collaboration networks that have emerged around key research areas are mapped. The study also reveals an expanding research landscape, with emerging areas such as nanophotonics and metamaterials gaining traction. This article is a longitudinal bibliometric study of articles from six major universities published over 130 years of the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). The Scopus API (Application Programming Interface) was used to download bibliographic metadata in multiple tables to create a relational database for automated data extraction and manipulation scripts to analyze publishing and citation indicators. The study examined several correlations between average number of institutional, non-institutional, single-and multiple- authored, and international authors per paper and citation counts; open access trends; and page count indicators. The study examines global "Quantum Cryptography" research on a set of quantitative and qualitative metrics to understand the status of research in the subject at global, national, institutional, and individual level. The analysis is based on publications data in the subject comprising a total of 10801 publications as indexed in the Scopus database covering the period 1992–2020. The study provides a window to most productive countries, research organizations and authors in the subject, to most popular broad subject areas in research, to top modes of research communication, and in addition it describes the characteristics of highly cited papers. The study maps the most productive countries, organizations, authors, and keywords in the context of collaborative research. The quantum cryptography research registered a 24.76% annual average growth, accrued an average of 23.01 citations per paper (CPP) since their publication, and it contributed a 4.03% of its output as highly cited papers, with an average of 305.46 citations per paper since their publication. Scholarly journals accounted for a 59.61% global publications share. Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as an innovative technology with the potential to revolutionize various industries including libraries and information science. Academic libraries are increasingly adopting artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance services, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience. This study utilizes a bibliometric approach to comprehensively analyze current research on AI in academic libraries (AI in ALs). This study employed bibliometric indicators to identify key trends, patterns, and research gaps in the existing literature. A comprehensive dataset of 373 research papers on AI in ALs published between 2002 and 2022 was collected and analyzed using the Scopus database. Various bibliometric tools, such as Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, and BibExcel, have enhanced this analysis. The findings of this study provide important insights. By 2022, there were 64 publications, constituting 17.16% of the total corpus, accompanied by 65 citations. In contrast, 2019 witnessed only 33 publications yet accumulated a substantial number of citations, amounting to 294, representing 8.85% of the overall citations. Conference papers exhibited the highest frequency among different publication types, with 165 publications, whereas journal articles had the highest citation count, accumulating 217 citations. Geographically, China emerged as the leading contributor with 119 publications, and Wuhan University stood out as the most prominent affiliation. Notably, the "Lecture Notes in Computer Science" series emerged as the most prolific source title, publishing 15 articles, of which eight were cited. Technological advances in tea production are critical to meet global demands for tea consumption. To illuminate differences in the scientific and commercial relevance of research programs between major tea-related research organizations around the world, we conducted a bibliometric analysis comparing the scientific outputs, including peer-reviewed publications and patents, of six major research organizations published between January 01, 2008 and July 11, 2020. For this competitive ranking analysis, we examined a number of papers, research topics, academic influence, capacity for development, capacity for collaboration, and capacity for technological innovation. Among the six research organizations, Anhui Agricultural University (in China) had the most publications, while the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Tea Research Institute showed a higher capacity for development. The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (in India) and the University of Shizuoka (Japan) both showed high academic influence, while the University of Shizuoka, Tea Research Association Tocklai and National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (Japan) showed a high capacity for collaboration. In Part II of our study of papers published in theJournal of Economic Entomology, 2000–2015, we focus on the three most intensely studied orders: Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Hemiptera. Species within these orders account for 71 percent of the grand total of the studies of commodities attacked or venues infested. These species also account for 75 percent of the membership of the top one hundred species, and 69 percent of the top hundred’s papers. Species within these orders include the world’s most significant pests of apples, cabbages, cherries, corn, cotton, grapes, oranges, peaches, plums, potatoes, rice, soybeans, tomatoes, tree nuts, most warehoused dry commodities, wheat, and the most economically important hardwoods and conifers. In their world leading publication, theJournal of Economic Entomology, economic entomologists typically found papers published between 2000-2015 roughly subdivided by type of crop attacked, venue of infestation, classic methodologies and more modern subspecialties, and recurring issues. The commodities most intensively studied include alfalfa, corn, cotton, garden vegetables, rice, soybeans, temperate climate tree fruits, tropical fruits, turfgrass, and wheat. Infested venues and procedures for their pest prevention, control or eradication were frequently explored and include both those used for the quarantining and treatment of newly imported commodities, as well as for the longer term post-harvest dry storage typical for cereal grains in warehouses. Topic development and focus are relatively neglected areas of the student research process. This study examined how students in a freshman engineering writing class developed initial research paper topics into focused thesis statements. A mixed methods approach was used, incorporating online surveys, qualitative interviews, and a rubric to track topic development and assess thesis statement focus. The survey results and student comments indicated that participants were more competent at the mechanics of finding sources and writing than at developing appropriately scoped thesis statements. Quantum Machine Learning is an interdisciplinary field that combines the principles of quantum physics, quantum computers, and machine learning to enhance computational performance. In recent years, there have been significant advancements in the field of quantum machine learning. Researchers have developed quantum algorithms for various tasks. Furthermore, quantum machine learning has been applied to various domains, such as chemistry, cryptography, and finance. Previous bibliometric surveys in this area covered the period from 2014 to 2020. However, as demonstrated in this paper, the pace of publication has increased significantly from 2018 to the present. Therefore, it has become essential to provide a new analysis of the current state of research in this field. In this paper, we deployed visualization tools to analyze co-authorships, co-occurrences, and keyword density in this research area. Our study covers and analyzes a total of 918 publications from the Web of Science database and 1171 publications from the Scopus database from 2006 to 2022. The paper aims at examining the global trends in digital library research based on data extracted from the Scopus database at the global, national, institutional and individual levels. This paper analyzes the abstracts from the 244th – 248th American Chemical Society national meetings, 2012–2014 for the Divisions of Biological Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. The main objective of the study was to identify the percentage of abstracts that were published as related papers and the time it took to do so. It also investigated likely factors that determined whether the abstracts will be published as papers. These factors included the number of author(s) per abstract, the number of institutions involved in the research, and the country of origin of the research. The paper also highlights the percentage of papers that were published before and after the conferences and the quality of the journals in which they were published. The main aim of this paper is to analyze the global cyber security literature and to discover underlying trends and developments at the global, national, institutional, and individual level using bibliometric indicators. The publications and citations data for the study were sourced from the SCOPUS database published during 1998–2019. Over this period of 22 years, cyber security research registered a 46.41% growth with an average citation impact of 5.05 citations per paper. Nearly 15% of the total papers were funded by external agencies. The top 10 countries alone accounted for the bulk (76.52%) of output in the subject. The present study analyzes the research output of India in the field of artificial intelligence using scientometric analysis techniques. The data were collected manually using the Scopus database at the end of July 2015. Publications in the field of artificial intelligence research in India from 1968 to 2014 were retrieved. It was found that a total of 6,529 papers were published in the field of artificial intelligence in India during that time period. The research output has grown considerably since 2004, and the last 2 years have witnessed a large publications output from the field. The average citation per paper of this data set is 3.06. The average number of authors per paper is three. “Artificial Intelligence” was found to be the most popular keyword, followed by “Algorithms.” A total of 12.64% of the papers have been published with international collaboration. This paper examines the theoretical aspects of Bradford's Law and Leimkuhler Model, their relevance across subject areas, their implementation forms, and their significance in Indian cancer research literature. The study analyzes 16,914 research papers published in 2,277 journals on cancer research in India between 2012 and 2021, sourced from the Web of Science Core Collection database. The total number of citations obtained from these papers is 378,409, and a ranking table of journals and their citations is provided. The first phase of the study applies Bradford's Law in verbal and algebraic forms to identify the journal distribution pattern, revealing a high percentage of error. The Leimkuhler Model estimates the number of journals in the core and successive zones, resulting in a minor percentage error of 0.00030171278%. The study identifies the International Journal of Cancer and PLoS One as core journals, emphasizing their importance in Indian cancer research. In Part III of our study of papers published in theJournal of Economic Entomology, 2000–2015, we focused on six orders of arthropods: Diptera, Blattodea, Acari, Hymenoptera, Thysanoptera, and Psocoptera. Species within these orders account for almost 30% of the grand total of the studies of commodities attacked or venues infested. These species also account for 26% of the membership of the top 100 species, and 29% of the top 100’s papers. Species within these orders include the world’s most significant pests of backyards, blueberries, cattle, cranberries, the cut flower and potted plant industries, honeybee pollination services, household hygiene, mint, onions, oranges, oregano, sage, thyme, and wooden structures. The shaded lines in the tables in this paper show the relative rankings of species within these six orders among the top 100. Part III closes with a summation of the key findings concerning predictability in the study of adverse arthropods. It emphasizes the relative stability in the assortment of topics and subspecialties most commonly encountered in twenty-first century entomology. In the past few years, the field of big data has multiplied, with more academic papers written about it. This bibliometric research was done to look at and understand the trends regarding countries, organizations, authors, and keywords that are creating the most publications and citations in big data. This study was done to understand the current state of scientific publications in the field. The research used Web of Science (WoS) database information from 1993 to 2021. The study of 32,085 papers showed that, on average, each document has 14.7 citations and 3.46 citations per year. According to the results, the United States, China, and the United Kingdom have the most scholarly publications about big data. The Chinese Academy of Science, Harvard University, and Stanford University were the three most productive groups. The study attempts to identify the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) literature indexed in the World's most preferable database, i.e. Web of Science by Clarivate Analytics. We retrieved 443 records during the period 2003–2019 and analyzed. Among the 443 records, the primary document type was "Proceedings Paper" with 324 (73.13%) followed by "Article" with 107 (24.153%). Thirty Meter Telescope Observatory topped and stood in first rank with 179 (40.40%) papers, California Institute of Technology was second rank with 91 (20.54%) and third rank was Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics with 57 (12.86%). T.G. Herrio published 54 (12.190%) papers got first position followed by B. Ellerbroek with 50 (11.287%) papers received second position and J.P. Social media platforms are fertile ground for spreading problematic information. This paper explored Library and Information Science (LIS) students' understanding of problematic information, i.e. misinformation, disinformation, malinformation, fake news, rumor, etc. associated with their ability to categorize these. This paper showed the relation between what students think they know and what they actually know in regard to recognizing mis-dis-mal-information. A survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire among LIS students of all public universities in Bangladesh, and 426 usable responses get backed. For analyzing the data, SPSS was used to carry out the descriptive analysis, Pearson Correlation, and Spearman's Correlation Coefficient. The result showed that students were connected with social media platforms on a daily basis, most preferably with Facebook and YouTube. In terms of sharing or commenting on a post that was not completely accurate, almost half of the respondents are habituated with the aim of doing so. Although the basic familiarity rated by students themselves with the problematic information is nearly satisfactory, the capacity to recognize this information whenever it occurred in hands-on tasks was very low. There is a positive correlation among gender, study level, and frequency of using Internet and social media with familiarity with misinformation, disinformation, fake news, rumor, and malinformation. Little is known about the existing gender disparities in library and information science research. The current study aims to analyze research articles from the Annals of Library and information studies journal from a gender perspective. The study looked at the author's position in relation to their gender, various patterns of collaboration, and if this has affected citations. This study also attempts to determine the male and female authors' research interests as the first author. The data were gathered from the Scopus database between 2011 and 2019 and were quantified using bibliometrics. Six distinct authorship patterns were recognized. The findings reveal men in first and last author positions constitute the highest research articles and citations indicating male authors to be more influential compared to females. Additionally, the study findings have provided an overview of the current state of women in library and information science research and highlighted areas where improvements can be made. This paper provides information on the characteristics of the research output from the chemistry and biochemistry faculty publications at the University of Arkansas over a ten-year period (2011–2020). The faculty publications were used to identify (a) a core set of journals and other resources they are publishing in and citing over this period; (b) the characteristics of the journals in which they publish and cite (i.e., scatter of publications, Bradford distribution, major publishers, ranking and subject categories based on the Journal citation Reports (JCR); (3) the degree of openness of their publications; their citation advantage, if any, using both the Web of Science and SciFinder; and (4) the age of resources that are referenced. Based on the findings, the authors were able to gain a very good overview of the characteristics of the research publications and were able to identify how well the library is catering to those needs. With a goal of delineating a small, core collection of journals to cover growing domestic and worldwide interest, this study reports four findings about articles related to medical entomology that appeared from 2007–2011. First, in the study of insects as disease vectors, journals of tropical medicine and biology actually publish almost as many papers as journals of medical entomology and vector biology, and among type-of-insect journals, those dealing with mosquitoes, ticks, and mites are most prominent. Second, in the literature of insect bites, journals of general entomology that intermittently feature recurring papers on medical entomology and type-of-insect titles that emphasize mosquitoes are the most important. Third, in the study of insect venoms, 70 percent of papers come from the journals of toxicology and related disciplines such as protein biochemistry. Fourth, while there were dozens of different noxious arthropods mentioned one to four times in the medical literature during our time span, mosquitoes were by far the most discussed with almost 1,000 articles, followed by, in decreasing rank order: wasps, bees, and ants; spiders and scorpions; flies and midges; cockroaches; lice; fleas; ticks and mites; true bugs; and centipedes. Based on the combined findings of all four sections, recommendations are made for a compact core of nine subscription-based journals that, along with dozens of Open Access and widely subscribed scientific and clinical titles already in many collections, will well serve academic and healthcare institutions that wish to begin supporting, in a reasonably economical manner, heightened awareness of major findings on insects and other arthropods that impact human health, and to potentially join in research efforts to control or eradicate them. The Institutional Repository (IR) concept has given a new dimension to information management in the Internet age. The introduction of an IR can help to redefine the production, dissemination, and the use of resources. This study found that a total of 436 IR research papers published in 118 journals originated from 68 countries. These research papers contain 2,071 citations with an average of ˜4.8 citations per publication. Moreover, out of the total 159 institutions involved in IR research, a majority of them are located in the United States and the United Kingdom. Mainly, out of the fourteen most productive countries eight have recorded TAIs of >100, and six countries recorded TAIs of <100. Most published papers have a single author, i.e., 176 (40.4%), followed by two authors: 152 (34.9%). Interestingly, India, Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia, and Italy have not published any paper with more than five authors. Purdue University has witnessed the highest (˜2) relative citations impact (RCI) on its publications. Elizabeth Yakel from the University of Michigan has published the most papers (7: 1.6%), which have received ˜34 citations. The purpose of this article is to map the state-of-art of entropy, a knowledge domain which has drawn a great interest of researchers from a variety of academic fields in modern times. The journal Entropy, which focuses completely on entropy and is therefore regarded as the most prominent journal, has been purposefully chosen for this study in order to examine the intellectual structure of the field. Data from the Web of Science database for the years 2008 through 2021 were gathered. Scientometric indicators, literature growth, co-authorship, co-citation, keyword co-occurrences, co-word, citation, and bibliographic coupling, are studied using VOS Viewer. Highly cited papers, most prolific authors, countries and institutions are also identified. The results of the study admit that the linear growth trend of entropy articles has increased over the course of the investigation. Highest number of the publications were contributed from China, and the institution that contributed the most articles was the Chinese Academy of Sciences. A cluster analysis of the keywords shows that the research hotspots are primarily focused on "entropy," with the highest frequency and link strength. We used the faculty publications published in fully open access and non-open access journals that are indexed in the Web of Science core collections to study the extent our researchers are publishing in these fully open access journals and to identify the relative impact of their open access (OA) versus non-OA publications, to identify theirh-indexes, and to explore the citation advantages. Overall, the average citation is higher for non-OA papers. When the data were examined by year of publication, citations were higher for non-OA papers six of the eleven years under study. The other years show no citation advantage. On examination of the science and technology material in the Web of Science and Google Scholar databases, the field of physics had a citation advantage for non-OA articles for all the years under study, and in entomology, except for one year, non-OA also had a citation advantage. For biological sciences, in Web of science, five of the eleven years OA citations were higher, and in Google Scholar for all years OA had a citation advantage. The main purpose of this research was to identify misinformation and other related online falsehoods i.e. dis-malinformation, fake news, rumor spreading in social media in Bangladesh associated with their threat and impact on human lives. Using a qualitative approach, the author randomly selected around 26 cases that happened in Bangladesh over the last 15 years. Both primary and secondary information resources (online and print newspapers, news archives, websites, blogs, TV channels, various social networking tools like Facebook, Twitter, etc.; a series of conversations with journalists) were considered to collect the cases that were spreading as misinformation. The cases were then categorized into various aspects such as political, health, religious, social, crime, and entertainment. A number of research papers were browsed in Google, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar, and the newspaper was also scanned to find out the associated effects of each case on our society. Findings showed in Bangladesh, the adverse ramifications of such misinformation were in religious and political aspects resulting social insecurity to loss of life also. For eighty years, food safety scientists have analyzed and validated each other’s work on microbiological contamination, spoilage, and poisonings using subscription-based journals well known for their scientific integrity. Now, however, more and more funders encourage researchers to publish in open access (OA) journals and allow paying Article Processing Charges (APCs) from grants. This article determined the degree to which purely OA publishers have gained in market share of scholarly food safety papers since the 1999–2000 foundings of the highly reputable BMC (BioMed Central) and PLOS (Public Library of Science) families of journals and the rise of many other OA publishers in the interim, including some that are controversial. Even now only 10 percent of papers on the most important foodborne pathogens appear in OA sources. Food safety scientists who might eventually be required to publish on an OA basis would best reach their target audience and minimize reputational risk by exercising any available option to pay APCs for their manuscripts to appear on an OA basis in the otherwise subscription-based most-trusted journals of their profession. The purpose of the paper is to report the findings of Saudi researchers' academic performance on the topic of COVID-19. In addition, the paper explored the contribution of Saudi Arabia in the area and how Saudi Arabia is doing compared to other Arab countries The study adopted bibliometrix R to map the literature on the topic published by Saudi scholars. A total number of 3242 documents were retrieved from the Web of Science database and examined Using the software to mine information about journals, articles, authors, citations, keywords and countries. The analysis revealed that Saudi scholars had published a fair amount of COVID-19 studies in a small timespan. Scholars from Saudi Arabia have initiated a strong collaboration with other researchers worldwide. The data revealed that Saudi scholars have collaborated with scholars All over the world. Overall, Saudi Arabia had its share of global contribution on the subject (19th place). The corresponding authors of thefifty most-cited molecular and cellular biology papers of 2011 in eight journals were identified. The journals studied included three prominent subscription model (SM) journals fCell, Science, and Nature,), three leading Open Access (OA) journals (PLOS ONE, PLOS Biology, BMC Biology), and two newer OA titles with connections to established SM publishers (Cell Reports [Cell Press] and Scientific Reports [Nature Publications Group], Author affiliations were determined. Citations to their 400 papen were tallied up through April 2014. The 4,046 other papers they also authored from 2011-2013 were characterized as to the publishers of the journals unthin ivhich they appeared and the ranking of those journals by Impact Factor (IF) within their subject categories as found in Journal Citation Reports. Cell, Science, and Nature authors ivere significantly more likely to be affiliated ivith elite institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom, were much more heavily cited, published many more papers, and did so in higher-ranking journals, very often in titles published by the Nature Publications Group, Cell Press, or the A A AS. They were significantly less likely to publish in the OA journals studied. Conversely, authors ivith PLOS ONE and BMC Biology citation successes were much more likely to appear repeatedly in OA titles from the Public Library of Science or BioMedCentral and had a lower rate of publishing in the SM titles analyzed. Solid waste management refers to collecting, treating, and disposing of solid waste that has served its purpose or is no longer useful. The primary purpose of this research is to map and visualize the solid waste management literature indexed on the Web of science between 1966 and 2021 based on bibliometrics analysis. This study also identified the most productive authors, sources, organizations, countries, research areas, funding agencies etc. This study employed the bibliometric method to analyze global research productivity on solid waste management literature. A total of 4444 research papers downloaded from the Web of science during the study period. Bibliometrics software, namely Bibexcel, VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, and Microsoft Excel, used to analyze the data. The results show that there was 4444 publication with 78759 citations between 1966 and 2021. The maximum number of papers, i.e., 424 published in 2020, in 1966 single paper published and received one citation. The journal Waste management published 382 papers and became the most relevant source of the topic, whereas Huang GH recognized as the most prolific author with 214 papers. China contributed a significant number of research papers in the field, while the University of Regina, Canada, emerged as a top-performing institution. China and Canada together collaborated more in producing literature in solid waste management. The study concludes that there is a need for further bibliometric study of other related topics in waste management, such as liquid waste management and gasses waste management. The present investigation explores the features of the research publications on stellar and galactic astrophysics research in India during the last 20 years, based on the Web of Science Core Collection and its implications using the scientometric techniques. The R program, VOS-viewer software, and Webometric Analyst 2.0 were used for the analysis. The results of this investigation unveil that the literature on the stellar and galactic astrophysics has grown exponentially during this period reaching 4352 papers in total. A network visualization map revealed that "galaxies: active", "stars: neutron", "galaxies: evolution", "galaxies: ism" and "radio continuum: galaxies" were the most frequently used keywords. The study identified the key scientometric indicators such as publications, authors, journals, countries, institutions, citation, and co-citation analysis. "Tata Institute of Fundamental Research" (TIFR) is the most extensive institutional contributor publishing 26.03% of the papers. Srianand R is the most published author with 143 publications. India has the most significant scientific collaboration with the USA. "Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society" is the most publishing journal with 1434 published papers having 25,853 citations. The total number of citations received is 1,13,860 citations, giving a ratio for the "Average Citations per Item" as 26.16 and "h-index" as 115. The Information Services Office (ISO) of the Natioyial Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) conducted a study to assess the impact of NIST research collaborations by analyzing the NIST papers coauthored with other researchers external to NIST. This request from NIST senior management focused on the number of unique non-NIST coauthors on NIST-authored papers and the number of unique institutions and countries with which NIST collaborated on publications for the past five years. Cloud computing is an interdisciplinary field which has witnessed exponential growth in recent years and there is a need to consolidate the research efforts. This study used citation analysis method to identify most cited papers which have achieved the status of citation classics. It is the first study using Dimensions.ai database to identify classics in cloud computing literature. Using a search strategy data was extracted from Dimensions database from 2010 and 2020. Finally 96 papers were identified as citation classics which were cited with at least 400 citations. Data was finally analyzed through Biblioshiny package of R Studio. It was found that Future Generation Computer Systems, IEEE Communication Survey and Tutorials, IEEE Transaction on Parallel and Distributed Systems, Computer and IEEE Access are the key journals contributing to classics. This comprehensive study focuses on analyzing the growth of research in the domain of ocean acidification using various bibliometric methods. Datasets were retrieved from Scopus databases using keywords pertaining to the subjects, and detailed analysis was made to understand the growth of literature, publication trends, authorship pattern, keywords, country-wise distribution, and leading institutes working in the subject domain of ocean acidification. The resultant data show that a significant portion (37.83%) of the research documents are published in open-access journals. The finding shows that 76.06% of the total publication has published in the last seven years (2013–2019). In the year 2017, research in this subject reached its peak with the highest number of publications 697 (12.54%). The top 15 journals published around 34.04% (1,891) of the entire research documents. GEOMAR Helmholtz Center for Ocean Research Kiel, Germany, has produced the highest number of research papers (5.42%) followed by Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research, Germany (4.66%), and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the USA, with 4.39% of research documents. It has been found that Biogeosciences published by European Geosciences Union is the most preferred journal by researchers for publishing their work followed by Plos One covering around 215 (3.87%) papers and Marine Ecology Progress Series of 166 (2.99%) articles. A significant portion of the research documents are published in the sub-subject domain of Agricultural and Biological Sciences (55.31%), followed by Environmental Science (42.03%) and Earth and Planetary Sciences subject domains (37.99%). Dengue is a mosquito-borne infectious tropical disease that has a particularly adverse impact on India. A bibliometric analysis disclosed that India has one of the most prominent records in the world in terms of output of dengue articles and citations to them. Indians are frequently research collaborators with scientists from other countries affected by the disease, with a significant number of the resulting articles being published in Indian journals and subsequently well cited.
