In this paper, it is shown that in a LPG liquid-phase injection engine, the pressure in a LPG fuel supply system should be controlled which lead to a fuel efficient engine system. Especially at a high output of injection fuel follow, the pressure is not necessarily controlled at high pressure. Thus the optimal pressure is determined experimentally and the experiments are followed to control the pressure at the lower optimal pressure for different outputs of the injection fuel follows for the different speeds of the engine. While control strategies of powertrains equipped with ratio controlled continuously variable transmissions (RC/CVT), such as the pulley/ belt variator, have been covered in various publications, much research remains to be done toward the torque controlled CVT (TC/CVT), such as the full toroidal variator. This paper introduces the basis for the engine speed control of powertrains equipped with a TC/CVT. Input-output (I-O) feedback linearization is applied as it fulfills all control objectives of CVT-based powertrains, while minimizing the amount of controller gain points. Firstly, a model of the TC/CVT powertrain is developed and compared to that of the RC/CVT powertrain. Secondly, the Torque Control Strategy is presented. Recent hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) are provided with a motor cooling structure that uses lubricatory automatic transmission fluid (ATF) in the motor to improve cooling performance, as the authors of this present paper proposed previously. We closely analyzed the heat flow in a motor that used ATF for cooling, by measuring temperature at many points in the motor and evaluating a section of the motor under operating conditions, and successfully established that ATF improves motor cooling performance. Since the invention of the car and internal combustion engine, and through the use of oil that has high energy density and is cheap, human beings have obtained the means to move freely through time and space. Cars have promoted the economic growth of the world and have brought a prosperous life to mankind. However, as a result of Chinese economic growth, the quantity of global oil consumption demand seems likely to exceed oil production capability in the world. The paper focuses on simulation and optimal control of parallel hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). Since HEVs operation has to deal with the on board conversion of chemical, electrical and mechanical energy, an optimal management of the energy flows is required to increase the overall system efficiency. A dynamic model is used to describe the driver-vehicle interaction with respect to a generic transient and to simulate the vehicle drive- line, the internal combustion engine and the electric motor/generator. Neural Network modeling has been proposed for the estimation of future vehicle load aimed at optimizing the supervisory control strategy during a future time horizon.
