The attempt by the editors of I Christianity and Global Law i to understand global law using a historical perspective is commendable. It offers a full-orbed approach to fundamental questions: how to understand global law; whether global law can be based on Christian principles; whether Christianity can influence the development of global law and enrich it with its own principles.
