The article refutes the assertion made by William F. Buckley in his article "In Search of Anti-Semitism," published in the December 30, 1991 issue of National Review that this author subscribes to the view that U.S. foreign policy is controlled by Jewish Americans who are fully determined to advance the interest of Israel and that they are prepared to brand anyone as anti-Semitic to stop him. It is speculated that Buckley may have ascribed this view to the author for his involvement in the Vidal-Podhoretz controversy. The author further explained that he has been a consistent supporter of Israel.

The article reveals the origin of the author's dispute with commentator Norman Podhoretz over the issue of alleged antisemitism expressed by another commentator William F. Buckley Jr. in his article "In Search of Anti-Semitism," published in the December 30, 1991 issue of the "National Review." There are several facts which Buckley and Podhoretz failed to accurately ascribe as having been said by the author in their commentaries on the issue of American Jews' influence on U.S. foreign policy. It is argued that all commentators aim to influence U.S. foreign policy in one way or the other but it is preposterous to say that American Jews control the U.S. government on foreign policy matters.
