4. A Letter from William Pfaff.

The article reveals the origin of the author's dispute with commentator Norman Podhoretz over the issue of alleged antisemitism expressed by another commentator William F. Buckley Jr. in his article "In Search of Anti-Semitism," published in the December 30, 1991 issue of the "National Review." There are several facts which Buckley and Podhoretz failed to accurately ascribe as having been said by the author in their commentaries on the issue of American Jews' influence on U.S. foreign policy. It is argued that all commentators aim to influence U.S. foreign policy in one way or the other but it is preposterous to say that American Jews control the U.S. government on foreign policy matters.
