In recent years, borophene has developed into an incredibly promising magnetic material that is essential to many industries including superconductivity and fuel cells. In this paper, using Monte Carlo simulation, the ground-state phase diagrams and magnetic properties of an Ising-type borophene monolayer are explored specifically. The results show that induced by crystal field and exchange coupling, the second-order magnetic phase transitions and the compensation temperature are obtained. Additionally, the multiple compensation temperatures and multi-loop hysteresis characteristics are observed, which are vital in multiple magnetic recording. • A mixed-spin Ising-type borophene monolayer was studied based on Monte Carlo simulation method. • The ground-state phase diagrams were discussed by Monte Carlo method. • The temperature dependence of the magnetization and the susceptibility were presented. • Multiple compensation temperatures were obtained. • Multiple-loop hysteresis behaviors were clearly observed in this system. In this study, we use Monte Carlo simulation to analyze the magnetic properties of the ferrimagnetic CrI3-like structure with mixed spin (3/2, 1) structures. We start from the ground-state phase diagrams, and then discuss magnetization, magnetic susceptibility, internal energy, specific heat and phase diagrams of critical temperature, and finally present hysteresis loops induced by different parameters. It is found that the CrI3-like structure can show compensation temperature, rich temperature-dependence magnetization curves and magnetic multi-hysteresis loops behaviors such as double-loop, triple-loop and quintuple-loop. • A ferrimagnetic mixed-spin (3/2, 1) Ising model was proposed for CrI 3 -like structure with periodic boundary condition. • The effects of crystal field, exchange coupling and external magnetic field were studied. • Magnetization, magnetic susceptibility, internal energy, specific heat were discussed. • The phase diagrams of the critical temperatures were presented. • Interesting multi-loop hysteresis phenomenon were found.
